ExecChef Catering

DO NOT USE! They completely STOLE $500 from us without providing any food or service! We made the deposit with ExecChef before our wedding and had to reschedule due to COVID-19. We even agreed to their lame excuse that they needed to hold our deposit and raise their prices, without telling us what these new prices would be. As we got close to the rescheduled date, we did not hear back from these crooks for a month. It wasn't until we left our first bad review that they contacted us back begging us to take it down so they wouldn't lose business. We finally heard back with personal excuses, and requested for a new quote with the updated pricing (a month before the wedding). After we received that quote, we asked for changes to be made and for them to resend it with those changes for us to confirm. AGAIN, another 3 weeks went by and we didn't hear back after many calls and emails, and then threats of legal action. We tried to work with them a second time and ExecChef failed to communicate, with money in hand and a wedding days away. We told them that due to their poor communication close to the date, we had no choice but to beg another caterer to fill in. Originally, they agreed to allow the deposit to be used as a credit before the end of the year, which then we decided to ask for a rehearsal dinner. Yet again, they stopped responding. On the phone, Melody said she agreed that she should return our deposit and would talk with her "business partner" to get his permission. That was a month ago, as they are ghosting us again. If you want to play Russian Roulette with your wedding day and hard earned money, go for it, but these people lie, cheat, steal and don't respond! My wife and I leave this review in hopes that another happy couple wouldn't have to go through what we have and that MELODY from EXECCHEF CATERING would do the right thing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, PLEASE CALL ORANGE BLOSSOM CATERING INSTEAD! They can beat their prices too!
