Talia is a treasure! I can’t even begin to express what an absolute pleasure she was to work with from day one. Her energy is infectious and I could tell she could make any situation fun. Her portfolio of work is impressive and while photography can be a daunting wedding expense, it is worth every penny if you book the right person. Her pricing is totally reasonable for the amount of time, effort, and attention to detail she puts into every event. We had our engagement session during Fall 2019 and she was extremely prompt in all correspondence and very professional but without being overly formal. From the beginning, Talia was always warm and cheery—she has a great personality! I always felt like I was reaching out to a friend when I had questions. I 100% recommend making sure you do an engagement shoot with your wedding photographer. You really get to know each other and it’s a perfect opportunity to make sure you’re on the same page. She captured some gorgeous photos (still framed around our house) and made my husband and I extremely comfortable despite the awkwardness that comes with shooting engagement photos in a very public place. She was always open to feedback and really receptive of suggestions or ideas we had for shots. She truly listens and ensures that she’s capturing your vision. She posted some “teaser” photos on social media a few days after our shoot, which was awesome because I couldn’t wait to see the images! Our wedding was on October 10th, 2020. Talia chose a phenomenal second photographer and the guys had a blast working with him. My husband and I both have loud, energetic, and goofy families. Talia handled the day with ease, making sure to maintain organization and structure while still making it super fun to pose and try out a wide variety of shots. I’m SO GLAD we did a First Look and allotted plenty of time for pictures. She’s extremely creative and makes sure you get a good balance of “posed” images and candid moments. Our bridal party and family commented numerous times about how wonderful she was throughout the event. During the reception, she and her second photographer, Jason, were always available to grab for a quick photo and I’m still amazed at how well she played a “fly on the wall” while still being totally present and involved. She blends in so that guests don’t feel on the spot while she’s capturing candid images but also makes sure to gently remind you (the bride and groom) of getting the pictures you don’t want to forget because everything happens so fast. She handed out business cards with instructions on how guests could access the online gallery once it became available. This was SUCH a nice touch!! We received our photos 3 weeks after our wedding, as promised. Not only is Talia extremely busy with other family shoots and events, but she personally color corrects and edits thousands of photos. She made sure to email us once they were available and our family and friends were beyond excited to be able to go through the images themselves. All in all, I can’t say enough about how thrilled we are that Talia was our photographer for such an important milestone in our lives. We have a whole collection of priceless moments that we can look back on for the rest of our lives. I recommend her without reservations! She is AMAZING and has a real passion for what she does. It definitely shows. :)

There are no words to explain how amazing Talia is. I met her at a bridal show and her energy was incredibly memorable. Out of everyone I talked to that day, she is the only one I actually remembered. Our engagements photo session was so great since we were able to get to know her more. It truly began a lasting friendship that I’ll forever cherish. I could not imagine my wedding day without her. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I met Talia at a Philadelphia bridal expo and I was immediately drawn into her energy and ability to make us comfortable. Out of many photographers she was an obvious choice! We booked a package that included engagements (which were beautifully taken an Longwood Gardens), and all wedding day activities. The level of comfortability around Talia made both of our families feel confident that she would do an amazing job. After the day concluded we received our photos just a couple short weeks after, and that was shocking to us. We had friends who waited 2-3 months for something we got back in 2-3 weeks. Talia’s level of commitment to make this moment in our lives special and easy is unmatched. She worked with us during every step of the way and we are forever grateful.

I am so happy that I chose Talia to photograph our wedding! I reached out to her on The Knot, and she was very quick to respond – her amazingly positive and upbeat energy came through in her first email! I ended up going to the Philadelphia Bridal Show to meet her and was even more impressed by the portfolio of work that she had with her. I was also pleased with the fact that she had done weddings at my venue previously so she knew the ins and outs of the site. She was offering a special deal on the photography packages at the bridal show, and I was so excited because I thought that I wasn’t going to be able to afford a professionally-made album, but her pricing made it possible. We also had a second photographer. Talia is so incredibly flexible. We set our engagement photo shoot for May, and she made the entire experience fun. I knew that with her up beat and energetic attitude, everyone would be kept energized the day of the wedding, despite all the photos we would need to take! The day of the wedding she and her assistant Kim captured all the details with the girls and the guys, and moved through the family and bridal photos quickly which was important because it was quite hot. Prior to the wedding I had given her some sample photos I liked and she made sure to capture all of them. My only regret was that we didn’t have time for more photos – this was not Talia’s fault at all, I had received some advice from others about not needing a long photo shoot time, but I ran into some other issues the day of the wedding that set the timeline back, so I just wish that I had budgeted more time for photos to really capture the day as best as possible. That being said, Talia still managed to capture all the important moments. And everyone part of the bridal party and even our guests said how nice and friendly she was. Within two days of the wedding Talia had edited three photos and posted them on social media, which was awesome because I was really looking forward to seeing what she captured. I couldn’t wait for the entire album. Within three weeks of the weddings she mailed us a USB drive with all of the photos she took and all the photos from the second photographer – nearly 3,000 pictures! I had totally forgotten she was also sending a wooden box with some printed pictures from the wedding – it was a really nice surprise. I am still sorting through all the photos taken but Talia has been really kind to give me more time to pick the photos for our wedding album. The day of the wedding she also brought business cards with her that had information for our guests to access the wedding album electronically so that they could select the photos they’d like – it was a really nice touch! She has also been really responsive to any emails I send her within the three months following the wedding, which I think says a lot that she really cares about her clients! You really cannot go wrong booking Talia for your wedding – she will make taking the photos fun and capture all the special memories from the day.

Talia was an absolute joy to work with. Her pictures turned out great but her real value is her personality. We clicked with her right from the start when we met at a wedding show. She's high energy, fun, considerate and easy to talk to. She made us so comfortable during our engagement shoots and then had a great time with us on our wedding day. She can command a room and got all of our large family photos done quickly and perfectly. She even convinced a line of people at Love Park to let us cut the line for a photo of our massive bridal party with the statue. All of our pictures turned out great. Talia has an eye for the important moments and my favorite photos from that day are of us laughing and dancing. Her post production is quick - some of my friends were waiting months for their wedding photos. She sent us some teasers after a week and within a few weeks, we had thousands of images. Do yourself a favor and book her!

Talia and Kim were absolutely AMAZING!!! They were so flexible and made they day go so smooth! They both had high energy the whole day. Once I got the pictures I literally could not stop looking at them. I am obsessed!! They really captured the moments throughout the day. The hardest part will be picking out our favorites.

Talia is the best photographer of all time. We chose Talia to photograph our wedding after coming highly recommended by a friend. She is so sweet and easygoing which made me feel so comfortable on the day of our wedding. Talia is open to suggestions and was more than happy to snap pictures of various groups for us throughout the wedding day. Talia showed up promptly to take pictures of myself and the bridal party. She had a great way of blending in and capturing natural moments. Our wedding day was during an actual heat wave, so when it came time to do our first look and group shots Talia made sure we were cool and in the shade while not missing out on great settings and picture opportunities. The day after our wedding Talia shared a couple of pictures that she took to give us a sneak peak which was greatly appreciated! Not only is Talia a wonderful photographer she is a wonderful human. Love her!!!!!

Talia is AMAZING! I met her at a bridal show and I instantly knew I wanted her as my photographer. She is so energetic and bubbly she connects with couples so well! Talia took such amazing shots and everyone (and I) can't stop looking at my photos. It rained a little bit on my wedding day when we went to take photos but Talia worked with it and we have so many great photographs it is hard to choose a favorite. She captures the important moments but also the moments that you didn't think she got.

I don't even know where to start with this review. Talia and our second photographer Lauren were the most amazing people ever!! They were kind, talented, helpful, non-intrusive, and all around wonderful. Our pictures are stunning and capture our day perfectly. We were all a bit nervous since we are camera shy (and a bit goofy) and they put as at ease immediately with their friendly and laid back attitudes. In addition to being easy to work with, they were also incredibly professional and at no point was I ever worried that our photos would be anything less than marvelous. I can't say enough about the quality (and quantity) of our pictures. EVERY COUPLE GETTING MARRIED SHOULD USE THEM ASAP! If you are considering doing an engagement shoot, absolutely do it. We did not and I wish we had so that we could have spent more time with them. We can not imagine our day without them and are so grateful Expressions By Talia was there alongside us.

I am obsessed with Talia!! She did my engagement pictures as well as my wedding! She has such a bubbly personality, and genuinely wants the best for you as a bride. She made sure to get all the staple pictures I wanted at my wedding, and well as many others I didn’t even think to capture. I wish I could stick her in my pocket and take her to Alaska when I move to have her do all my portraits in life!!!

Talia is AMAZING. She took our Engagement photos and did a spectacular job. On a freezing cold and incredibly windy day in the city of Philly, she not only took amazing photos, but she made the entire experience so much fun. We showed our friends our engagement photos, and they thought it was a beautiful Fall day (not a freezing cold and windy winter day). Talia caught the light, the angles, the texture- and she was super peppy, upbeat, and flexible the entire time. We came away with stunning photos. Talia also spent over an hour extra with us because we found so many extra scenic pictures to shoot. We really appreciate her extra time, her positive attitude, and of course magnificent photos. I feel like we lucked out by finding Talia at a Philadelphia Bridal show, and I don't typically write reviews, but I want everyone to know how great of a photographer she is if anyone is wondering.

Talia was not only an absolutely exceptional photographer, she was also both wonderfully easy and extremely fun to work with. From our first moment at the engagement shoot throughout the entire wedding, we felt so comfortable in front of her camera! Our wedding was a traditional Jewish one, and the first Orthodox Jewish wedding Talia had shot. She mastered the occasion wonderfully and tactfully. The photos came back to us so quickly, and captured the spirit of the day. It's been less than two months since the wedding and we already have many prints and all of the edited photos. (The only reason we don't have the album is because we, the couple, are slow at choosing out of the many wonderful shots!) we are so grateful to Talia for the wonderful photos she provided (we can't stop looking at them!) and the added fun and enthusiasm she provided. Much love, and we truly recommend Talia to any lucky couple who gets to work with her.

From the first time I had spoken with Talia with interest in working with her for our wedding day I loved her upbeat and positive personality. We decided to get engagement pictures to have a preview of how our wedding day would be working with Talia. We had such a wonderful experience. She is so fun and lively to work with and made our whole shoot so memorable. For our wedding just a little over a week ago, she showed up at our hotel and brought me such comfort to see a friendly, familiar face. She did such a wonderful job at capturing our special day from getting ready photos, to first look and then throughout our ceremony and reception. Talia was more like an extension of our bridal party and we are so beyond happy with how all of our photos turned out. I would HIGHLY recommend Talia for Photography:)

It is incredibly difficult to be able to find the words to express just how wonderful our experience with Expressions by Talia was. My husband and I met Talia at the wedding expo in Philadelphia. She had amazing work displayed and was so warm and friendly. If you are searching for an outgoing photographer that will offer you everything you are searching for at the most reasonable prices, look no further! Our actual photography sessions and interactions with Talia were beyond anything I could have hoped for. She was extremely accommodating and made sure to get every shot we could’ve hoped for. I personally do not prefer having my picture taken, so often the photos are very awkward; with Talia, this was not the case. The engagement session is a must! This is when Talia takes her time to get to know you as a couple and learn how to achieve her best shots! She made sure my husband and I were comfortable and did not force us to take any pictures in poses that we did not desire. By the end of the session she had just become a friend, which made all the difference throughout the stress of the wedding day! On the big day, she was there bright and early and just knew how to work within the space. There was never a time I felt that she had demanded shots or pulled me away from any of it; yet still managed to take every picture I could’ve ever wanted. I could write about our experience with Expressions by Talia for pages but I will say one final thing. I work with five other people that are also preparing for weddings. I have recommended Talia to every single one of them, and after speaking with her and looking through our photos, every single one of them has booked their wedding with her! Choose Expressions by Talia for all your photography needs and you will never regret it!

Talia did an amazing job at not just being there on my wedding day capturing all the amazing memories of it but also for our engagement shoot. She also has more patience than anyone I know when it comes to kids being involved with pictures! I love the outgoing personality she has and so peppy and ready to go at any moment. I could not have asked for a better photographer! Talia was EXTREMELY detailed oriented, SO fun and just very enjoyable to work with. From the moment I met Talia at a Wedding Fair, I knew she was the perfect Photographer for our wedding. She was very patient with me during our engagement shoot that turned out absolutely fantastic and she even kept my dogs attention while we took pictures! I had several calls with Talia before the wedding and she assured me all the pictures I wanted would be taken (not only did that happen, but she took so much more than that!!) Our wedding day was long for everyone, with having Talia show up to take pre-wedding pictures at 10am and not leaving till 10:30pm from our venue! She even stopped eating dinner to get the most perfect sunset pictures of my husband and I. Our bridal party absolutely loved Talia and she made everyone feel so comfortable while still keeping them organized and on-track. I couldn't have asked for anything more!! My wedding was in the middle of 'wedding season' at the end of June and I had a sneak peak from Talia by the end of July!! She truly cares about her clients and makes her brides feel extremely comfortable with the entire process. Talia has also been patient with me, as I finally picked pictures for my wedding album. I would recommend Talia to ANY bride who wants an easily to work with and phenomenal photographer.

Talia is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Talia did a fabulous job at capturing the sweetest moments during our engagement session AND was able to shoot at the very BEST spots in Philly! She also captured EVERY moment on our wedding day AND our Traditional Nigerian Wedding! We LOVE her so much that we even had her take professional family photos this past Christmas AND she is also now the photographer for my cousin's wedding! Talia is VERY accommodating! She is prompt on every email leading up to our big day, she was with us ALL DAY on our wedding day with NO time constraints, we received a BEAUTIFUL wedding album of BOTH our wedding and Traditional Nigerian Wedding AND we received rights to our photos!! We even had her husband as our second photographer and he captured some of my most FAVORITE photos!!! LADIES AND GENTS!! If you need a photographer Talia is your WOMAN! MOST of her packages include ALL DAY coverage, wedding photo albums, rights to your photos AND engagement photos!! TRUST ME, not all photographers give you all of that for one GREAT DEAL!!! On top of ALL that, Talia is an energetic, fun loving and great person all around! You will NOT be disappointed with her or her beautiful work!!!!

Talia is truly amazing at what she does. I got married almost two years ago and when I look at my wedding album I can easily relive that day. She captured intimate moments with ease and never made my now husband or myself feel like the photos were staged. She also paid extra attention to my husband's request of candids and illustrated all of the emotions from that day beautifully in her photography.

Talia is excellent! Not only did she capture our Wedding, but our Engagement photos, our Traditional Nigerian Wedding, and family Christmas photos. She captured every moment perfectly! We used Expressions by Talia for our engagement shoot. During our shoot she made us feel comfortable and caught special moments of my fiancé and I. Our photos turned out absolutely beautiful and we got them back so quickly. She is very responsive and professional when it comes to communication and production of photos. Talia is amazing at hear and accomplishing exactly how you want your wedding photos to be. She listens to what the couple wants and makes sure to get outstanding pictures. She knew my husband and I wanted to spend as much time with our guest so she was well organized and made sure to maximize our time with friends and family and not overloading us with pictures. We were able to re-live ever moment of our wedding, because Talia capture everything. She is always professional and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend her to a friend. Talia is AMAZING!!! She will be photographing our wedding, but she has already taken our engagement photos. My fiancé and I historically do not “take great photos” so we were a bit nervous- but Talia immediately put us at ease and we had a BLAST. And the photos are STUNNING!!! Talia was amazing! She captured our engagement pictures in Philadelphia as well as our wedding day. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. During our engagement shoot, we had our toddler son with us and Talia was so patient and made him so comfortable, and of course captured the best shots of him! Our wedding day was perfect also! Talia showed up early and ready to go. I loved how natural our photos were throughout the whole day and night. I’m not one to stop the fun to pose for pictures lol! Everything was caught on camera. I could relive the whole night through our pictures! Also, the turn around time for getting our thumb drive and album back was faster than i could’ve ever imagined. Overall this is what I would like to say about Talia: Where do I even begin with how amazing Talia is!! We got married at Burlap and Beams in Athol, NY in June 2018 and Talia was our photographer for our wedding and engagement shoot! From our engagement shoot to our wedding to now, Talia has treated us like family and made us feel so comfortable!! Our engagement shoot, we were nervous/did not know what to expect, but Talia worked with our awkwardness and made us open up so much and got the perfect photos!! We continued to talk with Talia and plan out exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Talia and her husband, Anderson, we so helpful and genuinely wanted our day to be perfect and for us to look back on beautiful photos for years to come. On our wedding day, Talia and Anderson did an amazing job coordinating with each other so my husband and I would not see each other before the ceremony. They both made us feel so comfortable when getting ready, walking down the aisle, during cocktail hour, cutting our cake, and breaking down on the dance floor! They were always there snapping photos!! Our photos are absolutely breathtaking! We have so many awesome photos and we are so impressed that Talia and Anderson were able to capture those moments! They capture the moments that will last a lifetime. My guest cannot stop talking about how amazing Talia was and how much herself and Anderson blended in during our big day! Talia and Anderson were another guest at our wedding and they did a fabulous job making everyone feel so comfortable! We cannot thank Talia enough on how amazing she was and still is!! I continue to keep in contact with her and I appreciate the relationship we have and how much it has grown from our engagement shoot to now! Talia is the absolute best. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything about your big day, including all that leads up to it, goes just as you’d hope it would.
