Their contracts are amateur at best, they have hidden prices, don't breakdown costs, don't present a schedule of coordination, and are completely small minded in change. I write contracts for a living and when I requested simple changes, I was denied. Some include an inclement weather clause, an improved remedies clause, and a cost breakdown. The response showed that the company is novice when it comes to business practices such as paperwork. I've received three quotes other than this company and all were two steps above this one. Avoid the headache, don't book, especially if you don't want to do future legal action.

She showed us pictures, books, and concept proposals. She really paid attention to me and didn't stop searching until she found the perfect flower for each thing. When I wanted to talk about making color changes she said no problem, let's meet. When I said I'm having such a hard time finding baskets that I like for the flower girls, she said would you like me to take care of that? To which I happily said "Yes, please". I didn't have to think about how many of this or that are needed for the ceremony or what size arrangement should be placed with the cake because she took care of everything. She always ran everything by me and made sure it was exactly what I wanted but then she ran with it and I didn't have to think about it anymore. Everything at the ceremony and the reception turned out absolutely beautiful!!! I could not have asked for a better florist!

ut they are expensive so Shantay suggested we use them only in my bouquet and found another flower that created the same look and feel for the bridesmaid's bouquets and other arrangements for way less. She joined a pinterest board with me so that we could both pin ideas until we found the perfect look. AND, best of all, she will create a mock centerpiece a couple of weeks before your wedding so you know exactly what you are going to get and can make adjustments if you want. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would recommend her to any bride looking for a florist in DFW.

I'm still getting compliments from my guests about my flowers and my wedding was over a month ago! Shantay is also a great person to talk to. Two days before my wedding I stopped by her office to do a final look on the centerpiece and instead of it being a quick "in and out" meeting, it turned into a good 30-45 min of talking and laughing about the normal stressful situations brides go through days before the wedding. Weeks before the wedding, she showed us what the table décor would look like..centerpieces, chair covers, table cloths, and napkins. She even brought a couple of different choices to our reception venue so that we could get a better feel for the décor and setting. Shantay was accommodating and offered reasonable prices for everything. We made several changes up until the day of the wedding and she was flexible. I will definitely hire her for my next big event.

every part of the wedding. She provided linens as well that matched the venue and my colors perfectly. She didn't miss a detail! She was easy to work with and had a fabulous office with lots of examples and samples.

e my eyes when I walked into the reception. She went so above and beyond. She was supposed to do a box of flowers for my sweetheart table, but instead she went all out and created a gorgeous table with ribbons and flowers! I was shocked when I saw it! The rest of the centerpieces were absolutely stunning too. And my parents couldn't believe how attentive she was. Definitely one of my best vendors! I even somehow miss communicated with her the number of bouquets I needed for bridesmaids, but she quickly came to the rescue and they turned out beautifully. I had peonies for my bridesmaids and on my cake and they were huge. I don't think i've ever seen them that big. I was expecting just a few on my cake and she completely had them cascading down the side. It was absolutely stunning! I cannot recommend her enough. You will not be disappointed!

00% pleased with were the bouquets. The bridal bouquet was breath-taking. The bridesmaids bouquets turned out nice after she dyed the flowers the right color! The grooms boutonniere was just a big flower and it fell apart by the end of the evening... The Center pieces were exactly what we asked for, which were beautiful. The linens were kind of disappointing, I didn't even notice this until we got our picture back from the photographer, but the table runners were wrinkly and had very noticeable creases in them that pop out and look very tacky in the pictures. They weren't even ironed or anything, they looked like they had been folded up for months in someones closet. I'm just giving an honest review.. Shantay was great at communication, she always responded very quickly to our emails!! FYI she doesn't deliver bridal bouquets... I was never told this and didn't find out until days before my bridal portraits... Long story short she wasn't willing to work with me on it and I ended up with no bouquet for my pictures (which was partially my planners fault because if she'd have been better she could have warned me in advance to make arrangements or she could have got them for me)... Very disappointing!! She did the set up and break down of all the decor. All together there were things that were good and things that needed improvement that's why I give 3 stars! *********I cannot comment on my own review but per today 11.24.13 we have not been contacted per the below comment like she said.

n I first met Shantay I explained that we were working with a small budget and didn't need extravagant arrangements as we were doing our own centerpieces. She understood what I wanted and worked with me to find lower priced, but still beautiful, flowers in the colors I wanted. Even though our order was pretty small by wedding standards, Shantay still treated me like my wedding was special and deserved her full attention. The bouquets she created for me and my bridesmaids with roses, gerber daisys and hydrangea were absolutely beautiful and I adored the spray roses she used for the boutonnieres. I could not have been happier with the flowers or my experience with Shantay. I would highly recommend Expressions of Decor!
