I am immensely disappointed with the performance of this company as my Videographer.. They do not seem to have a main videographer employed but instead contract jobs out to other companies. We were given Ethan as our videographer who was honestly, very low-energy and did not have a collaborative spirit. The video I have just recently received from our 9/23 wedding not only looks like nothing previously made by Expressions Studio, but has massive glaring mistakes evident even to me, who is not in this industry. The original video given to me was color corrected to be so yellow, our décor looks orange, and has many instances of clips in an incorrect aspect ratio, creating a look of them being either “squished” or “stretched”. I had it in my contract to receive the RAW footage and some of these mistakes are evident even in the RAW footage. Random clips filmed in a “TikTok” or vertical aspect ratio, footage that is squished or stretched and major moments just filmed completely incorrectly. Segments of speeches missed due to the videographer needing to change his memory card. Unflattering angles, and my staircase entrance was almost completely missed. I asked for a re-edit of the video, and while some issues were fixed, the footage was overcorrected to be extremely blue/cool toned. When I brought up these issues, the videographer told me that he did the best he could given the venue space and that the onus was on me for only having one videographer. I am very let down with that I received and I feel like the video they have advertising their work is very misleading because you won't be assigned a specific videographer until a month before your wedding. Screenshots are taken from both edits of my video as well as the RAW footage.

I cannot find the words to say how amazing Expressions Studios was on our wedding day!! I found their studio on Avanti Mansion's preferred vendor list, and I am sooooooo glad we did!!!! We got our engagement shoot with Paul through our package as well, and it was a great way to work with Paul, and they are still my favorite photos, wellllll next to my wonderful wedding pictures!! We worked with Paul, Alex, Aaron, and Antonio; 2 photographers and 2 videographers. Not only did they make me feel so comfortable and eased a lot of my nerves, but they brought my shy groom out of his shell with jokes and laughter. We were absolutely blown away by how quickly Paul returned our edited photos and highlights, it helped to really relive the day again. I was IN LOVE with our wedding videos, we upgraded for our full ceremony and the quality of all the videos truly helps keep our wedding day alive forever. We also got all the raw footage of the day, to relive all the small memories, the giggles, the high-fives, and the dancing!!! Paul and Alex were amazing in positioning our bridal party, and have such an amazing eye for details! Alex and Paul also listened to my ideas and followed my lead on a few poses too! I am so thankful for Expressions Studios and I can't wait to schedule my next session with them!!!!

We had Aaron, Chaz and a 3rd person for our wedding. We are VERY satisfied with the job they did and how the video came out. Aaron was with the bride, Chaz with the groom and the 3rd person did our "well wishes booth". Aaron was extremely helpful to me, reminding me to eat, letting know if I should wait for the photographers to arrive for shots, reminders to use the bathroom, etc. He was very calm and helpful. Chaz was super friendly and had great suggestions with poses for shots and when to do what. The 3rd person did very well and stayed way later due to our drunken crowd. We really appreciated their flexibility. The video itself came out so well! It really gave a different vibe of our wedding day, the way we remembered it, and not the vibe we got from our pictures (through someone else). We wished we just did photos and videos with Expressions and feel we would have had a much better experience if we did it this way.

We absolutely loved working with Alex and her team. Not only was she so much fun to have, she was amazing at following our timeline perfectly and making sure we got all of the photo combinations we wanted. Her photo quality was also incredible and we could not have asked for better pictures. Expressions Studio was really responsible and answered questions quickly. They were so easy to work with and thorough. I would 100 recommend them to anyone else we know looking for a photographer and would definitely use them again in the future.

Expressions was absolutely amazing for our wedding! They brought two photographers and two videographers and stayed for our entire day - I mean from robes at 12 pm to sparkler sendoff at 11 pm! Alex and Paul were outstanding photographers. I had a huge, poofy dress and Alex taught me how to position it just right to make it shine in the photos. Without her, I would have been lost (and would have had a lot of extra leaves in my dress!) The photos are absolutely incredible and our families have LOVED their gifts. You will love Expressions Studio too!

Alex and her team at Expressions Studio were incredible. It is stressful picking a photographer that's right for the quality and budget and I'm happy to say they were the best decision! They were all fun, comfortable, patient, and so helpful. I highly recommend the studio to anyone still hunting for a wedding photographer. Their costumer service and products cannot be beat. Expressions studios was recommended to us for our engagement photos, by a friend who used them for their wedding. The engagement pictures were so creative and we loved working with Alex. When it came to booking a wedding photographer, there was no question in our mind. Alex and Paul did an incredible job shooting our wedding to give us both classic and creative photos that we are obsessed with, and in the process, our wedding party and family had so much fun with them. Not only do they take beautiful pictures but Alex made sure I had everything I needed the entire day, calmed me down when I was nervous, and went far above and beyond the "traditional photographers job description". She was so helpful in times of chaos, made sure I got every picture I wanted (as so much more), and was so accommodating when there was a last minute change of plans. In such a short period of time, after the wedding, we received sooo many amazing photos that we will cherish the rest of our life and now we'll forever have these memories because of the unbelievable talent of Alex and Paul. The pictures turned out better than I could have ever imagined as they had the perfect vision for our Rustic Barn wedding with details galore. My husband and I 10/10 recommend them for any occasion, as we know, we will never use anyone else, besides Expressions Studio for all our future events. Because of Expressions Studios I am able to look back at the photos from my wedding and re-live the day all over again. Choosing to have two photographers was the best money and decision we made because it allowed for so many more moments to be captured throughout the day. A photographer was able to capture all the moments of both my husband and his men and myself with my bridal party getting ready. Time was not split between the two and so many more moments were able to be captured, many of which are our favorites. The rest of the photos outlined our day perfectly capturing both the large and small event, some of those captured events I had only heard about before the photos were developed (such as our late night snack that my husband and I totally forgot about till there were talks of how good it was the morning after ). I will forever be grateful to Expressions Studios for the way they were able to beautifully capture the best day of our lives.

Expressions photography did an amazing job for my wedding day. Alex and Bryan were our photographers. wow did they do an wonderful job. They were so creative and really got every photo I could ask for and more! They were so professional, knowledgeable and kind. Alex helped in every possible even right down to helping get my veil in since no one else could get it lol. I highly recommend them!

Expressions Studio was the best choice for photographers and videographer of our ceremony to capture our wedding day!!! Alex, Paul, and Aaron were amazing. The quality of our photos is outstanding!!! Not to mention they put together a sample album using their experience and expertise that made us feel like I was reliving our wedding day! Priceless. Aaron and Alex not only got every detail photographed, you didn’t even know they were there. We have photos of our all of our guests and all action photos with very limited posing photos allowing us to enjoy every moment of our reception. They were so easy and fun to work with.

Paul and Alex did an AMAZING job at capturing our day. They were both so very easy to work with and made the entire process so simple. As a bride, I was overwhelmed with everything I needed to remember, organize, and make decisions for; so it was nice to have a vendor who literally took care of all the work for me leading up to the big day, AND even more so the day of. We did not have to worry about a thing because Alex and Paul were so organized and worked so well with each other, but also our other vendors. They will do anything for the perfect shot, seriously anything... Paul laid on my kitchen floor to snap a beautiful picture of me, and didn't complain at all about my energetic golden retriever who was all over the place! He embraced it and got some incredible shots of me with my pup. Alex made sure that my dress was always perfectly fanned and not a hair out of place in every photo. They had innovative and modern ideas of how to pose us, and our 16 person wedding party. Even using smoke bombs to get the picture we ABSOLUTELY love and will cherish forever. They are fun and engaging and made it easy to have a smile on our faces the entire day and night. Our photos were edited and ready to go less than a month later and we could not be happier with the finished products. I will definitely be recommending and using Expressions again! Paul and Alex are the absolute best.

Thanks to Expressions Studio our day went off without an issue. We had the best experience with Emily, Alex, and Aaron as they captured all the best moments of the bridal party and our guests. They had fun attitudes that complimented to overall tone of the day incredibly well. The overall process of getting everything booked and ordered and follow ups after the wedding all went so incredibly smooth. We could not have asked for a better experience and highly recommend them to anyone that is getting married.

Our experience was amazing! We live in Florida and planned our wedding in Buffalo. So I did my research prior and then after my first meeting with Paul, I knew they were the ones for the day! They were so flexible and accommodating to our travel schedules! They also are just simply amazing at their jobs! They really looked at what I wanted and got so many amazing photos throughout the day! They were also super attentive to my needs as the bride and made sure I always felt comfortable and was getting to tired before the actually ceremony! I would HIGHLY recommend them, Alex and Aaron were simply amazing at their jobs!!!!!

We had a blast working with the Expressions Studio! Alex and Brian (our photographers) and Aaron (videographer) know exactly what they are doing and they made taking pictures so much fun. Communication with Alex was great, she responded to my emails quickly and answered all of my questions. The morning of my wedding, the team showed up ready to work despite the rain. They were encouraging and upbeat, which helped put my nerves at ease. They did a great job managing my giant bridal party (20 people) and our crazy family through all of the classic wedding pictures. Alex and Brian listened to our photo ideas and made sure everything was taken care of. (Just a word of advice...hire a second photographer!!! You won't be sorry! While Alex got all of the traditional pictures, Brian captured the casual/candid photos which were equally amazing!) Aaron captured our whole day beautifully, I never noticed him around. I read a letter my husband gave me the morning of the wedding and Aaron filmed me reading it out loud. That is a moment I will treasure forever. The edited video that I received was gorgeous and is such a keepsake. If you are on the fence about a videographer, just get one! You really will not be sorry. The team stayed with us the entire day and made sure we had everything we wanted before they left. We got our pictures and video back very quickly. Any requests or edits I wanted made were taken care of right away. I am so happy I went with Expressions Studio, best investment of my wedding!

Alexandra was a big part of our day. We cannot thank her enough for all she did for us. She was above and beyond a photographer. She kept me calm as well as kept everyone on schedule. She kept everything moving, especially during the long family portrait pictures. We also had a second photographer, Aaron who did a tremendous job as well. Photos were a top priority for us. We researched 20+ photographers in WNY before going with Expressions and we definitely made the right decision! The people at Expressions are pleasant and easy to work with. They go out of their way to make sure that you get what you are looking for (locations, poses, styles, filters, etc...) Our pictures are wonderful and we are also in love with our video. If you are debating on a wedding video, I highly recommend doing it and through Expressions!

I have nothing but good things to say about expressions photography! Alex, Paul, and Aaron were absolutely amazing to have with us on our wedding day. I thought picking a photographer for our wedding was one of the more difficult decisions to make while planning. I was lost on who to go with and when I met Alex at one of the bridal shows she was so sweet and the work was absolutely beautiful so I decided to go with expressions! They made everything so easy and they are organized and very attentive to responding to calls/emails. You will not be disappointed! My experience with all staff members was positive. Everyone had an upbeat personality and were willing to work with us on any picture or location ideas. They were creative and made the wedding day flawless. Very organized with when pictures would be taken and with what family members involved. Prompt responses with emails. Loved that the video encompassed the entire wedding and not just a short story 2 minute video like many other companies. Wedding photos are always expensive, but feel their quality and attention was well worth the cost. Highly recommend!

Incredibly professional and friendly, they made the process of wedding photography painless! I have attended other weddings where this was not so. Our two photographers and our videographer were knowledgeable, and not just about their trade. Our main photographer, Brian, assisted the groom with his boutineer which was greatly appreciated, and above and beyond. He also had a sewing kit on hand, but luckily we did not need it!They had many great suggestions for posing, and were patient with us as we figured out exactly were some of our photos were going to be taken. They also traveled over an hour and a half between our ceremony and reception with no issue. This is before we even get to how well the pictures turned out. They are the best pictures we have of ourselves, and many of our family members! The pictures during bridal preparation are tasteful and show everything in its best light, and I want to highlight them especially. The album package was a free upgrade for signing up at a bridal show, and turned out beautifully. We have no complaints with them at all; they made our wedding as stress free as was within their power.

My husband and I had Expressions shoot our wedding 6/16/18. Paul and Connie made us feel comfortable immediately and really had fun with everyone while they were shooting. Alex was also wonderful for our engagement shoot. All of my questions leading up to the wedding were promptly answered. You can really tell they all love what that do, we would highly recommend them all!

I recently got married October 2018 and used Expressions Studio on our wedding day. We were lucky enough to have Alexandra as our photographer and she was nothing short of amazing! Alex was incredibly sweet and kind, my entire family loved her. We opted for first look photo’s followed by our bridal party photos so that our friends and family could enjoy cocktail hour. Alexandra kept the timing of pictures perfectly while everyone felt relaxed and at ease. Alexandra chose the most beautiful area’s of downtown Buffalo for our photo’s without me having to plan where we would go ahead of time. The Pictures are absolutely incredible!! I have received so many compliments on how amazing the photo’s came out and have recommended Expressions Studio to several other brides. My future sister in law also chose to work with Alex for her upcoming wedding after being a part of mine. We went with the digital package as it was a great value. The amount of pictures that we received was overwhelming! The online website was great as all of the pictures were uploaded by category and contained multiple copies of each photo edited in different ways. All of our pictures were back to us in a few short weeks. Overall, we were extremely impressed with Expressions Studio and our photographer Alexandra. I highly recommend using Expressions as your photographer!!

Thank you Paul and Natalie for the spectacular job at our wedding. You both were incredible and you felt like part of the family and not just photographers. I can't say enough positive things about you guys. We absolutely love our photos!! You both are absolutely amazing at what you do. I will never go anywhere else for professional pictures. My whole family just loved you Paul..you were honestly the main reason why I didn't have anxiety on my big day. Our friend Alex Piotrowski who works for Expressions did our photography for both our engagement and the wedding day and I could not have been happier with the results! She sent us some sneak peek photos and I started crying in my office, no shame! Alex is so, incredibly creative and was finding angles and shots that made the most beautiful pictures. Multiple guests commented on how she was boppin' all over the place taking shots and that they couldn't wait to see the photos! We also had two kids under 18 months in our wedding and a family member with special needs in the wedding party and she was so kind and understanding. She knew exactly how to get everyone's attention and snapped photos quickly in the split second she could get everyone looking at her and smiling! She directed all the family shots at the church flawlessly - there was no confusion and could not have been more efficient! I don't just say these things because she is a good friend, Alex is the BEST!

We were absolutely thrilled with Connie from Expressions Studio!! Our meeting prior to our wedding day put all of our thoughts at ease. She was so personable and went through a thorough run down of what our wedding day will look like. The day of she took time to take such thoughtful photos and didn't miss a thing! Our pictures turned out perfectly! Everything from the filters to the poses were so beautiful we are beyond pleased with our results. I also love that we have the full rights to the photos and were able to download all of the photos. We ended up with over a 1000 to choose from!!!

Paul and his crew were absolutely amazing. They were the best vendors we had on our big day next to the venue. Not only did they take beautiful, creative pictures, but they were kind, patient, and helpful. They spent the majority of the day with us and never once did I have to question them on anything. I really cannot say enough great things about them. They know what they are doing, and they do it extremely well.

Selecting our photographer was a difficult decision for my husband and I during planning, we found a few that we were interested in. We hired Expressions and are so incredibly happy that we did!! Our engagement session was a blast with Paul! He got all the shots we were hoping for and most of our favs are ones that he suggested. Gotta love trust a professional! Our wedding day was flawless with Paul and Connie. Having 2 photographers was really important to us and each of them fit right in while we were getting ready. They were busy, busy during the ceremony and the reception. We've gotten our photos back and we are so in LOVE with them!! They are professional, accommodating, fun, and brought no stress to our day. We can not thank them enough for capturing our wedding day perfectly!

Choosing a photographer was a challenge. The photos are the only mementos you will have years from now. So I did lots of research. I was recommended to Expressions through a friend who had used them months before for his wedding. I looked at his photos and really loved them. In fact, we ended up with the exact photographer he had for his wedding! Alex was great, she knew what I wanted and did a great job at capturing casual photos. Connie and Paul who run the studio were wonderful to work with. While I didn't get to meet them in person, they were always very helpful and quick to answer my questions. As a long distance bride this was very important to me. My only critique, which is my own choosing, is to get the 2nd photographer. There is the ability to capture more parts at more angles. Alex could only be in one place at a time! So I would recommend paying the extra for a second person.

I used Expressions Photography for my videography, and although I have not got my dvd yet.. (just married 2 weeks ago). I want to tell everyone how PLEASED I was with them! They were so nice, so friendly, so professional. Paul and Brian won me over immediately and I am so glad I went with them!! I cant say enough about them!

All of the people I dealt with at the studio were very friendly and helpful. Although I'm still in the process of picking pictures for framing and for the albums, the proofs came out great. Although the photographer missed a few of the poses I had asked for, she had some other ideas that were nice, and did good considering the rainy weather that day.

I don't even have words on how awesome of a job our photographers Paul and Alexandra did. Our pictures are absolutely unbelievable. They are simply amazing. They were both so great to work with and made us both feel very comfortable. We had fun all day long and they managed to get all of the pictures we had hoped they would. They are simply stunning. We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for photographers. (for any occasion) They're awesome !!

This place is unbelievable! I worked with Katie Mostly and I can't even explain the beautiful pictures that she got... and she trully put me at ease and I didn't even notice her and all of the pictures she was taking... she is like a picture sniper and I am sooooo glad that I used them! They really captured real moments of us and really showed our love and everyone having a wonderful time!

Our pictures are gorgeous and our package includes a beautiful coffee table album and the disk with all of our photos on it. Wedding photographers are important. If the pictures come out bad, how will you remember your day? I loved expressions. We had Connie and Crystal shoot our wedding. They did an outstanding job and took over 2000 photos. What we really appreciated the most was the way they treated our wedding like it was special, and not just another wedding. It's obviously very routine for them but they never let on. They put so much effort into each pose and scene and to top it off they stayed late into the reception. We were so happy with them.
