Exquisite Event Planners

ved the food (it was delish!) & she really has a gift with presentation of the food ~ it actually added to our cocktail hour décor! Throughout the process, Sara was very helpful with planning our food based on our budget & helped us pair side dishes with what we wanted for our main dishes. During our final call, she even asked what our theme / color palette was so she could plan accordingly which I thought was such a nice touch! We had full faith in The Yard catering on our wedding day & it went so smoothly, really better than we could’ve even hoped for. Thank you so much Sara & The Yard team!!

a. From the moment we met with her, it was apparent that she was professional and knowledgeable. She was extremely helpful during the early phases of wedding planning. She helped us navigate many of the early questions and concerns we had about the catering, cutlery, linens, and more. Sara's incredible menu selection blew us away. Her offerings covered many different cuisines - from Asian, Italian, and BBQ to traditional. We went through many different versions of our buffet menu before finally nailing everything down. With her extensive menu, we were confident we could decide on a menu that appealed to everyone on our guest list. It's one thing to taste her incredible food—it's another to see it for yourself. What sets Sara apart is her unbelievable displays! A week before the wedding, she reached out to me to ask about my color scheme, and when I saw pictures of the cocktail hour, I saw she had incorporated the colors into her display using stunning flowers and greenery. Instead of laying the soft pretzels we ordered on a white platter, she hung them on a metal pole. Everything else was artfully scattered on wooden platters to match the rustic nature of our venue. It elevated our cocktail hour to a level you would only find in a movie! As beautiful as the food was, it was even more amazing to finally taste it! The pot roast melted in your mouth, the carrots came with a fantastic glaze (people are still telling us how much they loved them), and the seasonal vegetables were outstanding. Typically, wedding food is very forgettable, but the number of wedding guests who continue to tell us how phenomenal the food was is still mind-blowing! We could not recommend Sara and her catering services enough! You are definitely in good hands!

booked with her for both food and flowers. The menu options were endless and could fit any style you were going for. We loved that The Yard offered some different, elevated options beyond the traditional wedding food. We also LOVE the way Sara puts together a display for cocktail hour. Her displays are both beautiful and delicious— even more so when flowers are also done by her, resulting in cohesive displays of both food and flowers. I had what I referred to as “big flower dreams” and Twisted Rose Co. absolutely delivered. I sent Sara inspiration pictures and she knew exactly how to bring it to life and how to transform my venue, which was otherwise a blank slate. From my bridal bouquet to center pieces to our floral arch and everything inbetween… every piece was perfect. I got soo many compliments and so many people who said they’ve never seen more beautiful wedding flowers. Sara, The Yard, and Twisted Rose Co were the perfect additions to our perfect day. We were thrilled with our decision and we would book them both time and time again.

credibly organized person and is easy to work with. She responded to any emails and phone calls promptly and answered all of our questions as they came up in the planning process. The florals that were put together were gorgeous. I provided Sara with inspiration photos, and she nailed it. The food was fantastic for cocktail hour and dinner and the presentation was beautiful. I wouldn't think twice about working with them in the future!
