. In the mayhem of wedding day, I forgot to remind them. So for the entire day, I went around with a blemish on one part of my chest and a sunburn on the other. Also, the false eyelashes they applied were falling off on one corner the entire night. Also, they were scheduled to be there for a certain amount of time and left about an hour early, meaning when my photographer arrived, I couldn't get any "getting ready" pictures that I really wanted. Even asking her to stay to do my now husband's makeup (as he also had a sunburn) they left after all the girls were done. Overall, the quality of work was ok. but I wish I had gone with someone else.

This can be a hard balance to achieve for someone who is not used to wearing a ton of makeup. Emily truly listens to what you want and don't want; she has very high attention to detail and is able to understand your vision for hair/makeup. She was able to impress the pickiest of brides when it comes to makeup and hair. For my hair, I asked her for a classy, clean chignon. I provided her a picture of what I wanted and actually combined two pictures of different hairstyles to get the look I wanted. She was able to create volume with my chignon even with my relatively flat/thin hair. Emily is able to create the hairstyle you want while taking into consideration the length/volume/texture of hair you have! This vendor's staff is very responsive, professional, and flexible. They are moderately priced and provide good value for their price point. Definitely book a trial with this vendor and do not be afraid to explain in detail what you like and don't like! At my trial, I didn't really know how I wanted my makeup to look so I trusted Emily to do what she thought would look best. When I saw what I looked like at the end, I started crying because I felt so beautiful! I had the same reaction after I saw myself for my bridal portraits and even on my wedding day. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day!
Emily and her entire team were amazing to work with. They were always very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. I probably talked to Exquisite Reflections more than any of my other vendors because I had so many questions but they were always so friendly and accommodating. Emily and her assistants made my whole party feel very comfortable and they listened to each girl to make sure they all got the look they wanted. Then, I offered to come to them and have them physically swipe my card, like it's meant to be used. They refused. I got upset obviously and then the girl told me we weren't a good fit because she didn't know how to enter numbers correctly. That same day I took my business elsewhere and used the same card to pay and it worked fine. I don't feel like these people treated me like professionals. I would never recommend them.

Johanna showed up on time, and got myself and 2 bridesmaids completed. We had hair and makeup completed and it was fine... Not exactly how you want to feel on your wedding day but at least it was completed. I would not and have not recommended them to any of my friends getting married! You would get better service and quality going to the Mac counter and then to an actual hairdresser who knows what they are doing! Way over priced for not great service or quality!

isite Reflections was excellent about getting us all finished in a timely manner. It was also nice that they had their own private room at my wedding venue (Ashelynn Manor) so we didn't have to worry about making sure everyone knew how to get from the hair/makeup services to the venue.
Originally, I was assigned to another stylist and had already done my trial appointment with her. For whatever reason, that stylist was no longer with the company a couple months before my wedding. Exquisite Reflections reassigned me to Amy, and let me do another trial appointment with her, free of charge!
I highly recommend Exquisite Reflections to anyone!

I would still recommend them to anyone, but maybe not to girls with larger bridal parties (we had 3 for hair and make up and 2 for just hair and it took about 5 hours from the time they showed up).
In the end, everything turned out ok and I wouldn't have had anyone else do my hair and make up!

Thank you for your feed back! There are a few factors that have the potential to extend the time frame. Our standard goal is to have our parties completed 2 hours prior to the ceremony time, however, if you need an earlier time for your party t...
o be completed, then there is a specific spot on the contract to address this. This way, there are no misunderstandings.
We do want to highlight some factors that may cause the time to be extended.
The #1 reason is when parties run late to their appointment time or not all of their party is present and there is a lull between clients. For example, if a party runs an hour late to the appointment time, there is a good chance the time of completion will be approximately an hour later. We often can make up a few minutes or a small lull, however, we will communicate to you if there will be a disturbance in the projected completion time.
We also want to highlight the importance of noting if someone in your party has extra long or extra thick hair because it certainly takes more time to complete the style.
Another contributing factor that we encourage our brides to be aware of is that everyone needs to have a very good idea (i.e. a photo) of what they are envisioning for themselves to better communicate to the Artist and accomplish their goal. Our #1 goal is that everyone LOVE their services and in the event that indecision occurs, it leaves a lot of room for error (aka "RE-DO's")to accomplish the goal of the happy customer.
Another factor that often happens is that our recommendations (Prep Instructions) are ignored. We want everyone to get the most out of their services and this document tells you everything you need to allow for your day to run without a hitch.
