I want to preface my experience to share how lucky I am to have met this dynamic team. My husband proposed to me in March 2024. A week later our wedding date was set for October 2024. We were excited and motivated to quickly plan an intimate wedding (around 50 guests.) We found the perfect venue that included everything we thought we needed: location for ceremony and reception, food, drinks and cake. Initially, it seemed feasible to plan our wedding ourselves. We wanted to include a welcome party and farewell brunch since the majority of our guests traveled 5+ hours to celebrate our big day, and we wanted as much quality time as we could get with everyone.
I received a list of preferred vendors from the venue’s Event Coordinator and recognized I was in over my head.
Cosmically, my sister in law had a local florist deliver us a beautiful flower arrangement a month or two prior, and I’d kept the card with the company’s information! I found my florist! I felt immediate relief when I spoke to Donna. She was prepared with lists, questions, suggestions and took notes throughout the call. I appreciated that she was upfront with prices and sent me an itemized list for everything. I was so impressed with her professionalism, organization and expertise that I asked her to be our wedding planner the same day.
It’s genuinely her character to help others and make them feel comfortable. She has an innate ability to perfectly execute another person’s vision. I found a unicorn with Donna.
She required at least two meetings via FaceTime or in person leading up to the wedding. I was afraid our first meeting was a flop. I didn’t have an answer to most of her questions about color schemes, centerpieces, and I had no clue what an arbor was. She simply asked me to send her pictures of weddings, themes, and colors I liked which alleviated the pressure I felt to make a snap decision. Donna managed to sift through my nonsensical indifference and chronic procrastination to create a wedding I could only imagine in my wildest dreams.
Donna was the head, neck, backbone and legs throughout the entire planning and implementation of our wedding, and our guests still remark that it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever attended.
Donna and Dwayne are awesome to work with. They brought my daughter’s vision to life! They were always available to talk and meet. If you want a wedding that is worry free, they are the ones to do that! They are the sweetest couple and have amazing ideas! The flowers were unbelievable, gorgeous!!!!!
The day of the wedding everything went extremely well do to them!!
