When things go wrong, as in your case, we recognize that we are in the service industry and our photo booth affiliate refunded you your money as he took full responsibility for having to switch the attendant the day before. I would like to address one point in your review, which you mentioned we showed up 2 1/2 hours late. We arrived an hour prior to our start time, which is our company policy, and we were on time per the terms of the contract. There was a miscommunication, and I was told that you had requested an early setup time. We charge a nominal fee for arriving and setting up early which you did not pay for. Had I known about your request, we would have added the additional standby time to the contract and been happy to arrive early. regarding the music playlist at your recent event. According to our company policy, we guarantee to have 100% of the music requested. In this case, you provided us with a Spotify playlist, and I can confirm that 100% of the slower songs for cocktail hour and dinner were played, as well as 85% of the dance songs (35 out of 41). It's important to note that we typically play an average of 35 songs an hour. With a three hour dance set, the DJ had to play an additional 70 songs. As a professional and creative experienced DJ, our job is to gauge the crowd and cater to the masses which is exactly what we did. I would also like to mention that you confirmed personally never approaching the DJ at the event to request songs and or have him switch up the music. In addition, we never received a "do not playlist" from you, which would have helped us further customize the music selection. We have multiple videos of the dance floor being full throughout the entire evening. I have also spoken with the venue, planner, and other vendors involved, and they all agreed that the event was a huge success. I apologize if my previous tone came across as defensive during our conversation. It was primarily due to an email I received from David, which mentioned a refund in exchange for avoiding a negative review on Yelp. I interpreted this as a threat, and I firmly believe that negotiations should be conducted in a respectful manner. Lastly, I was made aware that you had some financial constraints during the planning process. While I sympathize with your situation, it's disheartening to hear that you feel the need to go to such lengths to recoup funds. I hope this clears up any misunderstandings, and I am more than willing to address any further concerns you may have. Thank you for your understanding.
