The Groom and I felt comfortable and heard by him from our first intial meeting this July and from then on, he was always very patient with us and offering suggestions when asked. The ceremony songs flowed very smoothly and closed out perfectly with his chorus choice. During a phone call, Jeremy assured me he would make the best playlist where no guest will sit down and he meant that. We enjoyed seeing our guests party all night long once they got comfortable on the dance floor. He was always so kind, patient, and a great problem solver whenever I, the bride shared some of my concerns. The clouds during our first dance were my absolute favorite and our pictures are so beautiful because of it. Jeremy, I appreciate you so much and I look forward to booking you again in the future. "must plays", which i don't think is a wild amount, was not played. Meanwhile songs I asked to not play were played. That really bothered me and upset me on my wedding day. Several of my guests weren't dancing because the music choices were "weird". The company also uses a super archaic process and we had to send over these large PDF forms over email multiple times that we had to print out and handwrite answers on. The music suggestions they provide are from when I was in highschool. Clearly they need an electronic form that is more organized so that they can more clearly follow their clients vision, and add more updated music. He played absolutely nothing from what I can remember that came out in the past few years, and as much as I like a throwback, I'd like something current thrown in every now and then. This was the vendor I looked most forward to working with and I felt they let me down.

erful memories. Anything short of that breaks our heart. I will be reaching out to you directly to connect and chat through your feedback and offer an apology where due. You are not wrong when it comes to the planning tools. Though they are meant to gather basic details to begin the conversation around your needs, wants and expectations, they are PDFs and do require a little work. You might remember that our entertainment planning process is primarily designed for couples who have busy schedules or who have never hired a DJ before. Though the tools (PDFs) are helpful, the real power in our planning process comes from when we connect for a planning session at our studios or through a zoom or phone chat. By connecting with you, we are able to fully develop a plan for your day and insure we are on the same sheet of music.
Speaking of music, you mentioned that your memory of the music for your wedding might have been dated and perhaps misaligned from your expectations. When your DJ remembers both the plans for your wedding and the celebration day itself, he recalls your first dance to be a song from the Bee Gees. “LOVE” by Nat King Cole for your cake cutting and “My Girl” by the Temptations song for a dance with a family member were among the songs chosen for special moments for your wedding. During our planning session, we gathered notes in regards to your must-haves and do-not plays which we used to curate your soundtrack (including a note that you love anything from the 1970’s-1990’s and anything by Queen). On your wedding day, your DJ is constantly shifting the energy and music during the dance portion of your celebration to include as many guests as possible, ultimately attempting to make your dance floor as fun and festive as possible. (A tip for couples reading this review - if things aren’t meeting expectations or you have a song you want to hear… simply ask us. We are people pleasers and love nothing more than to accommodate you when we can. After all, it is your wedding and our focus is on you). We hope that during our check-ins throughout the wedding and our time together that if something isn’t quite meeting expectations, you would tell us so we can immediately address the situation straight-away and make you happy, happy. In the end, that’s what matters most to us.
As your DJ fondly recalled the many special moments of your wedding, he remembers Samuel, your partner, sharing a note at the end of the night that the wedding was amazing. Feedback like this is our North Star.

Where do I even start?! We hired Extreme Pro in October 2019 for our upcoming October 2020 wedding. When the pandemic hit and we had to postpone, Kaitlin could not have been more easygoing to work with as we postponed and moved our wedding date...
to October 2021. As we (finally!) approached our wedding, our DJ Jeremy Fristoe made the planning process so fun. He totally understood the vibe we were going for with our wedding, gave great recommendations on songs to use for certain parts of the wedding, etc. We didn't even realize just how important a good DJ is to ensuring the flow of your wedding goes to plan. On wedding day, Jeremy ran the sound for the ceremony itself, which was very important to us as we've been to weddings where you couldn't hear the bride or the groom during vows. All our guests could hear us perfectly! During cocktail hour and the dinner, we had Jeremy select the music for both and it was such a fun mix of everything we love (oldies to 90s RnB, etc.). As for the dance portion of our wedding, the ENTIRE wedding was out on the dance floor the whole night, which is exactly what we wanted. Jeremy is like a puppeteer (in the best way!) when it comes to getting people on the dance floor - he sees which songs get the crowd going and keeps it up, or pulls away from songs when he sees some of the crowd leaving the dance floor. We danced the entire night! Our guests are still talking about how they've never been to a better or more fun wedding than ours, and Jeremy was a massive part of that. ow how the day would play out. We had zoom meetings with Matt multiple times to talk through all the scenarios. For the month of April, we were thinking of moving our wedding to our backyard, and Matt went above and beyond and offered to come out to see how the sound and internet set up would be so he’d be prepared on the big day. He walked us through all the options of hosting a zoom ceremony for our guests to enjoy from afar, and explained how he could work with us if our wedding got postponed. He can really help an anxious 2020 bride! In the end, we were able to get married at our original venue and Matt helped the event go incredibly smoothly.
I was the kind of bride that didn’t really understand what exactly a DJ did, prior to booking Matt. Now I can’t recommend a DJ enough. They really are key in producing the whole ceremony and reception. I told him I was worried people wouldn’t hear our vows, and Matt brought a body microphone for me to wear under my dress, in addition to the microphone my groom wore. He was great at making announcements throughout about covid safety features, and keeping our guests updated.
For safety, we didn’t have a dance floor, but we asked Matt to play music after dinner anyway to see if people would dance at their tables—and they did! He had the covid wedding bopping and it truly exceeded all my expectations. Even though we had to make a lot of changes to our event, with Matt and he’s team’s help we still got to have some classic wedding elements that made the night memorable.

Matt provides great recommendations depending on the “vibe” of the wedding, and he keeps the party alive and guests on the dance floor! He even listened to small details we mentioned during our very first meeting, and was able to make “shout outs” to certain guests who we had requested songs for (my mom’s favorite song is Brick House). He also played our first dance song when our coordinator “revealed” our reception area to us, which I thought was really special.

ce floor. Our uplighting looked classy for dinner, speeches, etc, and once the party got started, the colors changed up a bit to add some additional eye catching elements to the party. We used microphones during the ceremony so our guests would adequately be able to hear our personal vows to one another. Thank goodness Matt suggested this because it was an extremely windy day for our outdoor wedding venue and no one would have been able to hear anything if it wasn't for those microphones. Even with the crazy winds, everyone was able to clearly hear our ceremony and vows and we got loads of complements on them! As a lovely surprise, a day or two after the wedding, we received an email from Matt with a recording of our ceremony. Since we did not hire a videographer, this was a great gift to us so we can always listen back on our vows and hear the emotion in them while they were being exchanged.
Lastly, Matt was the perfect DJ! He made time to walk around to the guests tables and ask for any special requests. He walked up to my 92 year old grandmother and briefly talked with her; this is something that the family appreciated very much! Matt was great at feeling the vibe of the party and incorporated a wide variety of music into the party just like we requested. We had both older and younger guests out on the dance floor having fun together and we could not have asked for anything more! Simply put, it was the perfect party and that is HUGELY due to Matt and his ability to read the crowd. Matt was also great at making any announcements we requested at the wedding (such as guests going to the Photobooth, cake cutting, introductions for speeches, the list goes on!) which helped ensure the reception ran smoothly.
The grooms family liked Matt so much they were wondering if he could fly to Texas for another family wedding that will occur in 2019! My groom and I would absolutely use Matt and Extreme Productions for any future events and we recommend Matt with the highest regard.

About 5 months before the wedding my wife’s father passed away. We had our wedding planner notify all the vendors so they knew to be sensitive. Matt sent us flowers! We were so touched.
