, we would like to extend a heartfelt apology. Our #1 goal was for you to have the best experience at your October 2022 wedding and to look back with wonderful memories. Anything short of that breaks our heart. I will be reaching out to you directly to connect and chat through your feedback and offer an apology where due. You are not wrong when it comes to the planning tools. Though they are meant to gather basic details to begin the conversation around your needs, wants and expectations, they are PDFs and do require a little work. You might remember that our entertainment planning process is primarily designed for couples who have busy schedules or who have never hired a DJ before. Though the tools (PDFs) are helpful, the real power in our planning process comes from when we connect for a planning session at our studios or through a zoom or phone chat. By connecting with you, we are able to fully develop a plan for your day and insure we are on the same sheet of music. Speaking of music, you mentioned that your memory of the music for your wedding might have been dated and perhaps misaligned from your expectations. When your DJ remembers both the plans for your wedding and the celebration day itself, he recalls your first dance to be a song from the Bee Gees. “LOVE” by Nat King Cole for your cake cutting and “My Girl” by the Temptations song for a dance with a family member were among the songs chosen for special moments for your wedding. During our planning session, we gathered notes in regards to your must-haves and do-not plays which we used to curate your soundtrack (including a note that you love anything from the 1970’s-1990’s and anything by Queen). On your wedding day, your DJ is constantly shifting the energy and music during the dance portion of your celebration to include as many guests as possible, ultimately attempting to make your dance floor as fun and festive as possible. (A tip for couples reading this review - if things aren’t meeting expectations or you have a song you want to hear… simply ask us. We are people pleasers and love nothing more than to accommodate you when we can. After all, it is your wedding and our focus is on you). We hope that during our check-ins throughout the wedding and our time together that if something isn’t quite meeting expectations, you would tell us so we can immediately address the situation straight-away and make you happy, happy. In the end, that’s what matters most to us. As your DJ fondly recalled the many special moments of your wedding, he remembers Samuel, your partner, sharing a note at the end of the night that the wedding was amazing. Feedback like this is our North Star. In the end, know that we value your feedback and always welcome a chat. This moment allows us to reflect on the fun and memories of your day while adjusting some practices on our end to better align with our mission of delivering the best in event entertainment.
