My husband and I used Extreme Sounds for DJ & Photo Booth services for our wedding on 9/15/2023. We loved how quick Tony responded to all of our questions and made the process so easy. We were able to log into their system and request all of our music. This process made it so convenient. Tony was able to play day of requests and his mixing was spot on!!!! Would recommend them too all of our friends and family!

Tony crushed it! He was incredibly easy to work with and was flexible. The people in attendance raved about full the dance floor was the whole night. The portal that we used to organize the reception and music made life easy. I would recommend him to anyone getting married or hosting a party in the Chicagoland area. On top of his professionalism, he was a great dude too! Very easy to chat with and definitely has his stuff together!

We used Extreme Sounds Entertainment & Lighting for our special day and it was the best DJ decision! EVERYONE was so impressed and loved the variety of music he was able to play. We're happy to have chosen Extreme Sounds for our wedding DJ and photo booth! They were very professional, and listened to all our requests for ceremony/reception/dance music so that the day went just as we had planned. We appreciated how easy their site made it to plan out the timing of the different events throughout the wedding. The photo booth was a big hit with the guests as well!

Tony was great. We had a ceremony lineup shakeup due to sickness and other cancellations. He was very responsive and reassuring throughout the booking process and event. Very engaging and can weave songs together effortlessly. He came highly recommended from our wedding venue, and we are so glad we booked him!

Short story short we had to find a dj that had experience to do a multi-culture wedding (white and Hispanic) and he did a fantastic job. We had so many guest come up to us telling us he did an amazing job mixing the different types of music together to keep everyone on the dance floor. Tony was very responsive when we had questions and was always willing to jump on a call. He made sure we had fun at our wedding. If another event comes up in the future we will definitely go back to him. Thank you Tony!

We absolutely could not have asked for a better DJ experience. DJ Angel was on top of everything & was so responsive. Extreme Sounds Entertainment made every aspect of our wedding music perfect the day of! We had so many guest compliments on our choice of DJ! After our initial call we knew immediately this company was the right choice. Thank you all for everything and for making our wedding such an amazing event!

My experience wasn't bad but also was not very great. At first, it was great as Tony(the manager) really works with your budget. But later down the line he tried to charge me an extra fee for having an outdoor ceremony even though my contract clearly stated "ceremony included". His argument was that it is more difficult to set-up ceremony outdoors when reception and cocktail hour will be held indoors. I completely understood this. But it's not fair when he knew our set-up from the beginning, worked with our venue multiple times, does not clearly state this in the contract, and fails to bring this to my attention until 2 months before our wedding when we've been working together for 10 months. Our budget was completely maxed out by this point but Tony was nice enough to understand my frustration and dropped the fee. The website they give you to personalize your Playlist is awesome! I worked on it for a year as music was most important to me. Tony assigned us DJ Mike for our wedding and Mike was a pleasure to work with for almost a year. Which became very unfortunate when he came down with covid a day before our wedding. Again, I completely understand, not his fault. Tony then assigns us another DJ named angel. Nice guy but he had no idea what he was doing. which I understand because the poor guy just got thrown into our wedding last minute with no planning. which unfortunately messed up our timeline a little bit and most of all, most importantly, my Playlist 😔 I worked so incredibly hard on that Playlist for literally a year and only half of my Playlist got played. cocktail hour was perfect but then when reception came, he played completely random music that I did not choose whatsoever. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that maybe since our previous DJ got sick, maybe he only had time to download half of our Playlist? I have no clue what happened but it was very disappointing to me. our guests didn't seem to mind but to me personally, this was something I worked very hard on and was so disappointed when I realized none of my music was being played half way through and I actually had to request songs for my self... I'm not blaming anyone, I am just sharing my experience. Regardless, we couldn't have our wedding without them I guess and the photobooth was really phenomenal 🙌

Extreme sounds entertainment was excellent! Can’t say enough good things about tony and his team. The DJ Ralph played a great mixture of music and kept the dance floor crowed all night long. The up lights looked fabulous and my guests loved the photo booth. I am very happy with my decision to hire this company

The service was excellent, our family and friends really enjoyed the music and the photo booth activity. Everyone took home a nice memory of the wedding. Our DJ (Jorge) played all the songs that were on the list and also let us suggest some more during the event which made it a great experience. He was also a great entertainer at the reception, we are very satisfied with his service.

DJ Ralph was professional leading up to the wedding and during. He performed his duties extremely well. The ceremony went off without a hitch, all of the announcements were made well and at the right time. He worked with our coordinator to ensure that the reception goes smoothly. DJ Ralph read the crowd and kept everyone on their feet the entire night. We had a fantastic time! DJ Ralph and his wife even helped out with setting up some decor. They did a great job and are very grateful to them for helping make our wedding day special and unforgettable. Our guests enjoyed the music so well they repeatedly asked where we found this DJ. We will definitely be recommending DJ Ralph and Extreme Sounds Entertainment.

Highly recommend! We booked them for a photo booth for a party. Their pricing is upfront and clear, the team is very professional and caring, and the photo booth was amazing. They have a great planning form, so you can communicate well in advance of your needs. They truly care to make sure they can do what they can to make your event a success. Our DJ was the absolute best to work with!! We had a mix culture weeding and our DJ was able to blend the two together and create the perfect playlists for all of our events. We had some events where we had choreographed dances and needed specific music and he had it all covered for us. We had multiple people come up to us saying he was the best wedding DJ they’ve heard and I couldn’t agree more. He was a dream to work with and put us first always - whether that meant setting up a call to work with our schedules or adapting as he needed to. Absolutely fantastic DJ! Derek did a spectacular job, even though we hadn't planned much out until the last couple days before the event. He was able to set up a second outdoor audio spot so that the ceremony reenactment had music and microphones, on the day of the event, right before the ceremony. It was a beautiful celebration, the music was awesome, and Derek was great to work with through both the planning process and at the event itself. Tony is the MAN!!! He did such a phenomenal job, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. We warned him in in our first meeting that our crowd is a dancey one, and he completely delivered. He knew exactly how to read the crowd, and the dance floor was completely full from the moment it opened. He was also incredibly clear with his announcements and kept the crowd both engaged and informed of what was coming up ahead, which was truly appreciated by my guests. A great mark of a DJ is when their transitions go unnoticed, but their ability to inform the crowd is so exceptional that multiple guests go up to the bride and groom after the wedding gushing over how wonderful the DJ was…that was our experience. When we first booked Extreme Sounds Entertainment we were assigned a different DJ. We ended up having to change our date due to Covid and, in doing so, our previous DJ was no longer available. Not for a second did we have to worry because Emily and the team immediately assigned us a new DJ. That is one of the great things about working with this company; every DJ is so professional, organized and on top of it that if something happens, you know it will be taken care of. My husband and I knew without a shadow of a doubt that we were in good hands with anyone from Extreme Sounds Entertainment, but we really feel like we hit the jackpot with Tony. He went so far above and beyond; we had multiple meetings where he made sure to solidify all of our song choices, timeline and everything in between. He texted us when he was on his way to the venue, arrived early after a 2 hour commute, and even sent us pictures of our final dance we had while the guests were lining up for the ending. I cannot stress this enough…he was AMAZING!!! Everything was perfect, and we could not ask for a better DJ. We highly recommend Extreme Sounds Entertainment & Lighting.

The communication of Tony and Emily was wonderful leading up to the wedding. Their pricing was reasonable, and their photobooth customization was fantastic. The photobooth especially was a huge hit at our wedding, and they did a great job with setup and including it for a price that wasn't astronomical. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Extreme for anyone who strongly values specific music as a part of their wedding day. By providing a Client Portal, Extreme Sounds is bringing a feeling of customization to its customers, but with this comes a responsibility to cater to the information customers provide. Sadly, this was not the case on our wedding night. The DJ was mostly polite and courteous; however, a number of things went sideways that showed he either did not read or did not care to follow the wishes we'd expressed leading up to the event. This included extensive, painstaking notes and song choices we devoted time to in the midst of other stressful wedding planning, as well as a phone call to go over all this information with the DJ the week of the wedding. In the online Client Portal provided, we gave over 2 full hours worth of *MUST-PLAY* songs for our reception. Out of these, less than a third were played. We gave another 2-plus hours worth of play-if-possible songs, the vast majority of which were not played. We requested a specific instrumental to play during bridal party/parent introductions, which was not played. Something we didn't recognize was played in its place. We made a note to play one of our more explicit songs later in the night, but it was played while everyone was eating dinner. We gave a timeline for several things, like bouquet toss and cake cutting, but these were not announced by the DJ. We had to coordinate these ourselves and hustle to get guests together. Our bouquet toss song was not played. Our last dance song was not played, and the vast majority of guest requests, including by bride and groom, were not played, and seemingly ignored instead. Although we could understand a DJ doing his own thing to fill in gaps, that's not what happened on our night. Our DJ clearly decided to do his own thing, which devalued the hours upon hours we had taken picking must-play songs that were special to us. Our wedding was so beautiful and full of love that the letdown in music was unable to ruin it, but this particular DJ did not give an experience I can recommend.

We really appreciate the time he took to call and get to know our music preferences, he was timely, friendly, and worked really well with our guests and feeling the mood on the dance floor! I have a weird taste in music and he did so well with the music I chose and melding it altogether! He was so prompt in answering any questions I had leading up to the wedding day and just as accommodating to us during the reception. I was so impressed!

Derek did an amazing job for our wedding ceremony and reception! He was friendly and played all the songs we wanted. He kept things flowing and we had guests tell us how great he was also. Would absolutely recommend!

Derek was very receptive to all of our song choices, kept people on the dance floor until the very end, and was very open to our schedule even when it was a bit uncertain. He also did our ceremony and introductions, and made them both very memorable moments for me and my now wife. If everyone they have is as good as Derek then Extreme Sounds is an easy recommendation!

Tony and Emily were absolutely amazing organizing the entertainment for our wedding. The packages are great and they make everything easy for you. From the booking process to event planning, they take great care in assisting the customer. They are very professional and respectful. They have a great online system where you can plan your entire event timeline and make many music selections from a big library they already have. They are very responsive with any questions you may have leading towards your event. They truly care about making your event unique to your needs and requests. They made everything stress free. Dj Derek was picked to Dj and mc our wedding and he went way above and beyond our expectations. He was great with getting as many details as possible to keep the reception on track and accurate. He came early to ensure everything was set up perfectly. He kept everyone on track with the timeline even when we were not ready or very organized about it. I am Indian and we have hard names to pronounce. He absolutely nailed it all without skipping a beat. He went along with some of our crazy requests. He took charge of things that I had not planned for. Everyone told me that the Dj was awesome and they were having a blast the whole time. From the first time we reached out inquiring about their services, Tony was incredibly helpful and fast to respond to all messages. The planning website they have was useful in picking special songs and playlists. Tony reviewed the ceremony songs with us days prior to the wedding to make sure they were exactly what we wanted. On the day of, he was early to set up. Everything ran super smoothly and our guests and we had a great time on the dance floor! The sound system and lights were fun. Working with Extreme Sounds was perfect from beginning to end!! We hired them pre covid (while our wedding was supposed to be 200 at a large brewery) but due to covid we cut down to about 35 people total in the same huge space. We had DJ Max 10 (Melvin) and Marcia and they were just absolutely phenomenal. As you can imagine dancing is a little odd now but people were still able to have fun and they totally used our playlist recommendations. Also due to Covid Tony (owner) worked with me on costs to drop the photo booth for which we were really grateful! Overall 5/5 stars!

DJ Ralph was amazing! We weren't able to have a dance floor at our reception due to Covid but decided to still have a DJ for our ceremony, which turned out to be the best decision. DJ Ralph went above and beyond for us. He was early to set up and test everything out ahead of time and he played everything exactly how I had imagined. Extreme Entertainment was amazing to work with as well. They answered all of my questions timely and professionally. Overall, I would highly recommend them.

Tony was absolutely accommodating and patient during such a hectic time. He made the whole process simple and stress free. The first song he played everyone was on the feet and the party went all night. He was great and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a affordable and fun DJ!

DJ Mike was great and has such a positive attitude! He was very transparent since the very beginning. He was flexible with us and our guests on music requests. Very low maintenance/stress day of the wedding and professional throughout the process. He's also very observant and knew when to change gears on the dance floor and during dinner. Our wedding was planned over a year and we could not have done it without Extreme Sounds ENT providing us with one of the best DJs I've ever experienced. My husband and I worked with DJ Tony, and I am so happy with how smooth both the ceremony and reception went. Tony is extremely professional and pays attention to the details - nothing slipped through the cracks. Tony kept our wedding running on time, and was able to adjust the music based on the crowd that was dancing. Multi Cultural Good MC and Great DJ We selected Extreme Sounds Entertainment as a referral from our wedding venue and had the good fortune to work with DJ Jorge as our DJ. Upon initial introduction, immediately he was warm and professional and did a great job to make a personal connection with my fiance & I. We wanted to have a multi-cultural wedding (Latin & American ) and had concerns of not wanting to have one style of music overpower another. DJ Jorge met with us a few times and with just me personally a few more to go over the music for both ceremonies, the intro's and all of the components of the reception. I am so thrilled to say that on our wedding day he executed our vision flawlessly. He is a natural MC, gauged the vibe of the crowd and kept the dance-floor packed all night with all styles of music! DJ Jorge is the perfect blend of a true professional, someone who really cares about his clients and a really skillful DJ that we received many compliments from our guests, that our wedding was one of the most fun they had ever been to. Go with Extreme Sounds Entertainment for your wedding - they have the technology and the people to make your wedding day the best day of your life. DJ Jorge did this for us. Five stars.. If there was a sixth, I'd vote that.

I'm giving three stars after using Extreme Sounds for our wedding, but I wish I could give 2.5. The positives do not outweigh the negatives, but they are worth noting: firstly, the photo booth service and attendant were both excellent. Secondly, though his service was awful, DJ Jorge was very nice. No issues at all with his personality or attitude, which is a very small silver lining in an otherwise upsetting experience. Pre-wedding planning seemed okay, though many of the songs we wanted (specifically newer pop songs) were not in their database. Not surprisingly, even after adding them to the special requests section, they were not played. More on that later. The ceremony and dinner went fine, but the issues began with the reception. I specifically asked Tony, the proprietor, what sort of style to expect; namely, will the songs be mixed like a club or will songs just be played one after the other. I was told we'd get a club-style mix, but instead, DJ Jorge played each song in its entirety, and on at least two occasions during the dancing there was actual dead air between the first song and the next. Further, our photographer basically had to coach DJ Jorge through the evening's events. He wasn't reading the room, seeing that there were lulls in conversation or making any suggestions to get people going. Our photographer had to ask him speed up the timeline of our speeches to fill the space while people waited on dinner (it arrived a few minutes late -- not the DJ's fault). After dinner, he kicked off the dancing with line dances (which is great), but then kept playing older pop songs that were not on our playlist, which drove guests off the dance floor. Finally, around 10 pm, I had to ask him specifically when he was going to start playing the songs my husband and I had requested. For the next few songs, he played off the list but then slipped right back into songs we had not requested and did not fit the Top 40/current pop genre we'd asked for. Eventually, one of our guests went to repeatedly ask for a few newer songs -- many of which, like Lizzo, had been on my list to begin with -- and had to show DJ Jorge the specific songs on her phone. In order of importance for wedding day features, music was my #1. I even organized a meeting with DJ Jorge prior to our event and handed off printed lists of my requests. I felt confident in their abilities going into the event, but greatly regret trusting Extreme Sounds with my wedding music. The style was awkward, the list I spent so much time on was not used, the music played seemed like a pre-loaded generic list and almost none of our guests ended up on the dance floor. Dancing is my favorite part of a wedding, and unfortunately I will remember my own wedding with an empty dance floor. We can't get that day back or do it over. Again, the company's team all had great attitudes, but that does not make up for the flat, disappointing evening that our DJ provided for our greatly anticipated reception.

We got in touch of this company via the Photography company we selected. Tony, the owner replied quick to our request and also paired us with a DJ that complemented our vision in music tastes and wedding theme. They have fair and value driven packages for all kinds of events. We worked with DJ Cosme as our wedding DJ. He was able to adapt to all of our musical requests and selections. Even for specialty songs. We wanted cued entrances and he was able to cue up the songs at the right moment for entrance and the guests loved it! He also surprised us with some awesome party favors that pushed out night forward even more!

Great DJ - did a great job! The ste up was great - DJ George set up perfectly and the booth looked nice. He played the songs we wanted plus added his own. He was responsive to our indian wedding requests - very helpful and great to work with!!

Everything about Extreme Sounds Entertainment was amazing. Finding a DJ was one of the most overwhelming aspects of wedding planning for me. We found Extreme Sounds Entertainment online by reading their great reviews they have online and I knew they were the ones for us as soon as we contacted them. We were matched with One of their DJs and I really believe there could not have been a better way. Our DJ was so excited for working with us and about our wedding and it was so obvious he wanted us to have the best day ever. Before the wedding, he would reach out to see how things were going and if there was anything he could do to help. He was some how able to work in my music taste and my husbands, even though they are pretty different, and it made the whole night feel like us. Our DJ follow or timeline and touch base with us during the reception to make sure everything was on time. Our DJ read the crowd perfectly and it really showed how much of experience they have doing weddings. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Even a a few months after our wedding, we are getting compliments from people of all ages on how great our DJ and the music was. Thank you Extreme Sounds Entertainment for making our night.

We worked with Tony as our DJ and with Emily to set up the photo booth. Both were very easy to work with and professional throughout the whole planning process. The day of our wedding, Tony was basically in charge of our schedule and I can honestly say that things went great!

We're very happy we found DJ Tony for our wedding! We created lists for cocktail hour, dinner and reception music and met with Tony a few days before the wedding to go over the details. Everyone in our bridal party was foreign, but Tony had no problem pronouncing everyone's name correctly (very important in my opinion!) during the introductions. Great coordination and checking in with us prior to the father/daughter dance, speeches, etc. to make sure everyone is ready. We used this company for an event with 300 people-- they were fantastic! They came on time, set up quickly, and were ready to take the first photo before our guests arrived. They were able to simultaneously set up their equipment in two locations within our reception venue, since our dinner was in a different room than our reception, prior to the wedding and at no extra charge. They were also able to coordinate with our florist who provided a projector and screen (but no audio equipment or computer) for us to show a slideshow at dinner. They brought several uplights to enhance the appearance of our ballroom, and they also included a photo booth, which our guests LOVED! (They provided a book of printed photo strips at the end of the night. :) DJ Jorge did a great job introducing speakers, making announcements, playing music throughout our dinner and reception. We liked being able to edit our song and 'no play' lists online. We did experience some significant delays in hearing back from the owners while trying to discuss questions prior to our wedding; however, it all got straightened out eventually. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Extreme Sounds Entertainment has a very reasonably priced and great service. DJ George did a great job at our wedding! He kept everyone's attention and on their feet dancing. We got a lot of compliments on the music selection and his performance as well. He played the music we requested and did a great job with ad on music as well. Highly recommend them!

DJ Tony was very proactive and helpful during all stages of the process. He was able to take what little music suggestions we gave him and work off of that to make a full night of music! The sound and look of his setup was spot on and we recommend using him to anyone that asks.

"Tony did an amazing job at our wedding. We had a bilingual wedding (Spanish/English) and had him say things in both languages, which worked out very well. We loved being able to make a “must play” playlist ahead of time. Tony was able to get a few songs that weren’t already in his library, including our first dance song. He did a good job sticking to our requests and throwing in some other songs based on the crowd. The guests loved the music- there was something for everyone and the night flowed perfectly from fun classics to modern hits to 90s throwbacks. Tony did a *perfect* job of reading the crowd and playing blocks of similar music depending on which group was ready to dance (e.g. top 40 for the young adult crowd, classic Mexican banda music for the relatives, etc.) Emily ran our photo booth, which the guests loved as well. Very quickly after the wedding we received a digital copy of all the photobooth photos and videos. Lots of our guests still comment about how great the DJ was. Thank you Tony! "

Both Tony and DJ George were excellent! They were both easy to work with, and they were very accommodating. My wife and I are extremely happy with our choice of DJ. Tony was very good at answering all of our questions quickly. DJ George was very personable, and he did a great job at our wedding. We got several compliments on the DJ from guests. He did a great job of doing things the way we wanted them done. He was good at keeping things going and keeping people happy. We liked that people were entertained, but the music wasn't too overwhelming, so people could still visit. Tony and Michael were great to work with. Tony helped us choose a package and allowed us to rent a speaker for our ceremonies and Michael performed DJ services for our reception. Michael was very professional, and even met with us ahead of the event to introduce himself, answer questions, and make suggestions for the flow of songs. Tony was an absolute dream to work with from the minute I inquired about pricing. He responded almost immediately with package prices, and answer any odd questions I had at the start of wedding planning. The booking process was simple and all done via computer. Once we made our first deposit, Tony sent us login info for our online client data base, which we were able to make our "must play, maybe play, and absolutely do not play" playlists. I LOVED that we were able to organize the music in this way, as I was much more at ease for what the evening would look like. For the entire year of our engagement, Tony responded to all emails within an instant. For my father-daughter dance, I had arranged it with my dad that he was to choose a song, and it would be a surprise to me up until the minute it played at our reception. Tony and my dad corresponded back and forth without me knowing, and this was pulled off without any issues! The day of our reception, which was the first time I was even meeting Tony, he put me at immediate ease. He came up to my fiance and I, introduced himself, and quickly ran through how the evening would go. I was worried about the amount of talking via DJ would be taking place (I HATE going to weddings and the DJ acts more like an emcee the entire night, rather than a DJ) but Tony was PERFECT. He checked in with us throughout the night and everything went as planned. Another thing I loved about this company was the way in which songs transitioned into each other. There was not a second where one song would end and silence took place. Each song went straight into the next. Our dance floor was full ALL NIGHT LONG! We also used Extreme Sounds for our reception uplighting. I had been emailing with Tony up until days before our wedding trying to nail down the color I was going for. I sent Tony two pictures of what I was going for, he said he would make it happen, and it was the exact amber color I was envisioning!

They were great! I dropped the ball and never even talked to them before the wedding because I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Tony and Emily are a pleasure to to work with. They are helpful with the planning process and very responsive but to emails. The online planning website is easy to use and really helps to streamline the process. DJ Jorge was amazing at the wedding and played all of our favorite songs.
