Tony is extremely professional and pays attention to the details - nothing slipped through the cracks. Tony kept our wedding running on time, and was able to adjust the music based on the crowd that was dancing. In addition to keeping me calm, he made sure that we had adequate time to eat both dinner and cake, which was important to me. More than providing awesome music, Tony’s MC skills are top notch. Both our guests and the venue wanted Tonys contact information so that they could get in touch with Extreme Sounds ENT to book DJ Tony for future dates. Another great thing about Extreme Sounds is their online database of songs, and the online ceremony/reception planning forms. It made planning the music for both events super easy. did a great job to make a personal connection with my fiance & I. We wanted to have a multi-cultural wedding (Latin & American ) and had concerns of not wanting to have one style of music overpower another. DJ Jorge met with us a few times and with just me personally a few more to go over the music for both ceremonies, the intro's and all of the components of the reception. I am so thrilled to say that on our wedding day he executed our vision flawlessly. He is a natural MC, gauged the vibe of the crowd and kept the dance-floor packed all night with all styles of music! DJ Jorge is the perfect blend of a true professional, someone who really cares about his clients and a really skillful DJ that we received many compliments from our guests, that our wedding was one of the most fun they had ever been to. Go with Extreme Sounds Entertainment for your wedding - they have the technology and the people to make your wedding day the best day of your life. DJ Jorge did this for us. Five stars.. If there was a sixth, I'd vote that.

, though his service was awful, DJ Jorge was very nice. No issues at all with his personality or attitude, which is a very small silver lining in an otherwise upsetting experience. Pre-wedding planning seemed okay, though many of the songs we wanted (specifically newer pop songs) were not in their database. Not surprisingly, even after adding them to the special requests section, they were not played. More on that later. The ceremony and dinner went fine, but the issues began with the reception. I specifically asked Tony, the proprietor, what sort of style to expect; namely, will the songs be mixed like a club or will songs just be played one after the other. I was told we'd get a club-style mix, but instead, DJ Jorge played each song in its entirety, and on at least two occasions during the dancing there was actual dead air between the first song and the next. Further, our photographer basically had to coach DJ Jorge through the evening's events. He wasn't reading the room, seeing that there were lulls in conversation or making any suggestions to get people going. Our photographer had to ask him speed up the timeline of our speeches to fill the space while people waited on dinner (it arrived a few minutes late -- not the DJ's fault). After dinner, he kicked off the dancing with line dances (which is great), but then kept playing older pop songs that were not on our playlist, which drove guests off the dance floor. Finally, around 10 pm, I had to ask him specifically when he was going to start playing the songs my husband and I had requested. For the next few songs, he played off the list but then slipped right back into songs we had not requested and did not fit the Top 40/current pop genre we'd asked for. Eventually, one of our guests went to repeatedly ask for a few newer songs -- many of which, like Lizzo, had been on my list to begin with -- and had to show DJ Jorge the specific songs on her phone. In order of importance for wedding day features, music was my #1. I even organized a meeting with DJ Jorge prior to our event and handed off printed lists of my requests. I felt confident in their abilities going into the event, but greatly regret trusting Extreme Sounds with my wedding music. The style was awkward, the list I spent so much time on was not used, the music played seemed like a pre-loaded generic list and almost none of our guests ended up on the dance floor. Dancing is my favorite part of a wedding, and unfortunately I will remember my own wedding with an empty dance floor. We can't get that day back or do it over. Again, the company's team all had great attitudes, but that does not make up for the flat, disappointing evening that our DJ provided for our greatly anticipated reception.

We wanted cued entrances and he was able to cue up the songs at the right moment for entrance and the guests loved it! He also surprised us with some awesome party favors that pushed out night forward even more!

Our DJ was so excited for working with us and about our wedding and it was so obvious he wanted us to have the best day ever. Before the wedding, he would reach out to see how things were going and if there was anything he could do to help. He was some how able to work in my music taste and my husbands, even though they are pretty different, and it made the whole night feel like us. Our DJ follow or timeline and touch base with us during the reception to make sure everything was on time. Our DJ read the crowd perfectly and it really showed how much of experience they have doing weddings. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Even a a few months after our wedding, we are getting compliments from people of all ages on how great our DJ and the music was. Thank you Extreme Sounds Entertainment for making our night.

They brought several uplights to enhance the appearance of our ballroom, and they also included a photo booth, which our guests LOVED! (They provided a book of printed photo strips at the end of the night. :) DJ Jorge did a great job introducing speakers, making announcements, playing music throughout our dinner and reception. We liked being able to edit our song and 'no play' lists online. We did experience some significant delays in hearing back from the owners while trying to discuss questions prior to our wedding; however, it all got straightened out eventually. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Tony did a *perfect* job of reading the crowd and playing blocks of similar music depending on which group was ready to dance (e.g. top 40 for the young adult crowd, classic Mexican banda music for the relatives, etc.) Emily ran our photo booth, which the guests loved as well. Once we made our first deposit, Tony sent us login info for our online client data base, which we were able to make our "must play, maybe play, and absolutely do not play" playlists. I LOVED that we were able to organize the music in this way, as I was much more at ease for what the evening would look like. For the entire year of our engagement, Tony responded to all emails within an instant. For my father-daughter dance, I had arranged it with my dad that he was to choose a song, and it would be a surprise to me up until the minute it played at our reception. Tony and my dad corresponded back and forth without me knowing, and this was pulled off without any issues! The day of our reception, which was the first time I was even meeting Tony, he put me at immediate ease. He came up to my fiance and I, introduced himself, and quickly ran through how the evening would go. I was worried about the amount of talking via DJ would be taking place (I HATE going to weddings and the DJ acts more like an emcee the entire night, rather than a DJ) but Tony was PERFECT. He checked in with us throughout the night and everything went as planned. Another thing I loved about this company was the way in which songs transitioned into each other. There was not a second where one song would end and silence took place. Each song went straight into the next. Our dance floor was full ALL NIGHT LONG! We also used Extreme Sounds for our reception uplighting. I had been emailing with Tony up until days before our wedding trying to nail down the color I was going for. I sent Tony two pictures of what I was going for, he said he would make it happen, and it was the exact amber color I was envisioning!
