We had the pleasure of working with Kim and Darlin for my wedding on 5/10/15. I cannot say enough good things about this business. Kim was extremely attentive and organized from when I booked the services, through the trial, and wedding day. Our hair and makeup turned out perfect and every family member and bridesmaid looked and felt so beautiful. My bridal look was exactly what I’ve always had in mind. I also wanted to give them a special shoutout for being so kind and patient with my cousin with special needs. Both ladies took extra care to make sure she was comfortable and included in the process. We are so appreciative of Kim and Darlin for their amazing work!

Kim and Darlin are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are super friendly and do such a great job taking your hair and makeup inspo and making it reality. They were ahead of schedule and worked quickly while still having perfect hair and makeup that lasted the entire night. They make sure everything is just how you like it and are happy to switch anything you may want to change. They're also able to accommodate larger groups and are super reasonable with all their services! Definitely recommend them for other bridal parties and brides on their special day!

The owner Kim was very unprofessional, cancelled the morning of my wedding, and ignored my emails afterwards. I had 2 make up artists and 2 hair stylists scheduled for me and my wedding party. Kim, the owner, was scheduled to do my makeup as she had done my makeup trial. She texted me, not even called, 2 hours before she was supposed to be at the location to tell me she was unable to come. She DID NOT send a make up artist in her place. With only 3 out of the 4 scheduled people showing up, our time was incredibly rushed. I had 7 bridesmaids in addition to myself. As the bride going last, my hair and makeup suffered the most. The makeup artist who ended up doing my makeup had no notes from Kim from my trial and did not have the same products used in the trial. My hair was rushed and fell completely flat within the hour. My bridesmaids had to track down a curling iron and recurl my entire head before the ceremony. Kim did not ONCE reach out after my wedding day to see if everything went okay in her absence. I had to reach out to her to discuss my issues with the services. I offered to speak with her on the phone several times and she declined each time, she only communicated over email with me. When I explained my issues, she was less than sympathetic. I asked for a partial refund on the wedding day services, since she only provided 3 out of 4 contracted stylists, but she ignored my email. I followed up several times, but she stopped responding all together. Overall, very unprofessional and created a lot of added stress for me as a bride on my wedding day.

We just got married this past weekend and I was so happy with how everything turned out! I felt so beautiful and all my bridesmaids and my mom looked great too. Kim was so responsive throughout the entire process and helped clarify any questions we had. Pricing was reasonable for both myself and my bridesmaids. I completed a hair and make up trial before my wedding day which was really helpful to see what exactly I wanted and to meet the artists beforehand. All artists were so professional and timely on the day of. I don't typically wear a lot of make up and wanted to still look like myself on my wedding day, and that's exactly what happened. Would recommend to anyone looking for a more natural "your skin but better" look!

I found Eye For Beauty because I was looking for natural hair & makeup for my wedding day. I’m not a makeup wearer so I was nervous about finding an artist that I was comfortable with. Kim was extremely kind and receptive to my feedback. I felt SO beautiful after my trials! We made a few tweaks for my wedding day and it turned out even better. My mom and MOH also got their makeup done and they looked fantastic! And let’s not forget Darlin – she did an amazing job with our hair. She created the exact look I was going for and all of my bridesmaids looked beautiful as well. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Kim was organized and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend Eye For Beauty!

The Eye for Beauty team was a dream to work with! Kim is incredible, is so organized and has great recommendations. Darlin and Angela did an AMAZING job with our hair and makeup. They truly listen and made me feel so comfortable for someone who usually doesn’t get dolled up!! Highly recommend and thank you so much!!

Kim and her team did an amazing job for our wedding (and a couple trials leading up to the big day!). Kim was incredibly professional, easy going and understanding throughout the whole process. Both the hair and makeup artists were patient, listened and helped me figure out the look I wanted for the special day.

I wish my experience with Eye for Beauty had worked out better after receiving a hair and makeup trial. I was pleased with my makeup, however I was very disappointed in the hairstyling. I am someone who has naturally wavy/curly hair. I curl my own hair at home and it maintains curls and volume well. At my trial, I asked for a curled half up/half down look. My hair ended up looking very flat and not full at all. We even tried putting my hair completely down to increase fullness, and my hair still looked flat. The curls were barely defined and didn't even last an hour; this would not last for a full wedding day. I reached out to Kim after my trial to express my disappointment and to try and figure out a way to fix it. I even provided photos of how my hair usually looks curled to highlight how flat it looked at the trial. I asked if maybe they could use a different method of styling my hair to maintain the volume (teasing, different hairspray, etc.) She did not have any other solution for me besides adding extensions ($250) or paying for another trial (with no indication that my hair would be styled differently at a second trial). For this reason, I did not move forward with the Eye for Beauty team for my wedding. I have since received a trial from a different hair stylist, and they were able to achieve voluminous curls half up/half down with my hair and no extensions, so this was not the issue. I wish the Eye for Beauty team had been more willing to work with me and provide other solutions. The level of skill in hairstyling unfortunately felt unprofessional.

EyeForBeautyCT was absolute best glam team I could’ve imagined for my wedding day. My mom, mother in law, bridesmaids, and I got SO many compliments on our hair and makeup and everyone looked absolutely radiant. I have never felt so beautiful in my life. The team truly listened to what everyone wanted and let us shine and be our best, most beautiful selves. Not to mention, everyone was so kind and energetic.. the perfect combination. Kim was incredibly responsive and a dream to work with in the months leading up to my wedding. I truly can’t recommend EyeForBeautyCT enough!

Kim’s organization and client portal made everything so easy for me! She was quick to respond and was so helpful through the planning process! Darlin and Danielle were so much fun and were able to do so many different hairstyles on so many different types of hair types. I was obsessed with my wedding hair.

Out of this world makeup!! Shana was absolutely amazing. My make up looked so wonderful and lasted all day! We had a chaotic morning and she did amazing in being supportive and getting everyone’s make up done on time and to perfection! 1000% would recommend!!!!!!!

The nicest makeup team ever! Eye for Beauty came highly recommended, and the team definitely did not disappoint! Kim was extremely responsive and kind throughout the process, coordinating a makeup trial for myself, mom, and maid of honor; drafting a wedding day timeline to ensure all seven girls had their makeup finished in time for pictures; and answering all of my questions. On the day of the wedding, Angela and Danielle did an exceptional job creating each girl's preferred makeup look. I initially chose Eye for Beauty in large part because of their specialty in creating a natural makeup look, and I could not have been happier with the results! Myself and my bridal party looked and felt like the best version of ourselves without feeling like we were wearing heavy or dramatic makeup, and we all received many compliments throughout the day! I absolutely love how my hair turned out for my Wedding Day! We made a few changes from the trial, and I couldn't be happier with how willing Darlin was to make the changes. All of my bridesmaids and my mom also loved how their hair looked. Our hair stayed in place the entire day; none of us had to retouch with hair spray, bobby pins, etc. Kim was fantastic with communicating with me throughout the entire time leading up to my Wedding Day. She was very accommodating when I asked if my mom could have a hair trial, too, which I was very appreciative of. Darlin and Amanda were phenomenal on the Wedding Day and handled doing 8 people's hair over a few hours so well! They took everyone's inspiration pictures and made sure everyone's hair vision came to life! I highly recommend using EyeForBeautyCT for your Wedding (or any event)!

I am SO happy with my decision to use Eye for Beauty for myself, my mother, mother in law, and 5 bridesmaids on my wedding day! Kim was incredibly responsive and very easy to work with, and was very communicative leading up to the wedding day, which helped ease a little bit of stress. Darlin did everyone's hair, and though we all chose different styles, everyone's hair looked beautiful! My hair doesn't hold curl well, and she somehow managed to get it to stay looking perfect for 12 hours. Dominique did my makeup and I've never felt more beautiful! She listened to feedback from my trial, incorporated the changes flawlessly, and ensured I felt my absolute best. I would 100% work with the Eye for Beauty team again in a heartbeat.

Kim & her team were great from start to finish and so pleasant to work with. They seemed to understand exactly what I wanted from my very vague descriptions and several conflicting inspiration pictures and somehow blended all that chaos into a totally romantic, natural, and coherent look. I don’t usually like pictures of myself, but Eye for Beauty CT had me staring at all our wedding pictures feeling like I actually looked as good as I felt!!

Meg, our hair stylist, with Eyeforbeautyct, is an extremely talented hair stylist, is kind, organized, and works really fast! When I had my hair trial with Meg, I was so happy how it turned out and knew I wanted it to be exactly like that. I have relatively longer hair and not only did the hair style look gorgeous but was sturdy and lasted the entire day! My sister and friend who also got their hair done, came out amazing! They have shorter hair which can be a little more difficult to style and they got curls and a half updo with a clip which looked so gorgeous. My mom got curls and they lasted the whole day!! She even gave us lots of extra Bobby pins and hair spray which was great! Meg had to get up very early to come so our hair for our wedding and arrived and set up at our house right on time at 4:45am! Eyeforbeauty was also extremely well priced and even include the tip in the invoice which is very helpful! Kim was the person we were in communication with and she was very professional, nice, and quick to answer any questions! I highly recommend Eyeforbeautyct for beauty services!

I had an amazing experience with Kim, Darlin, and Angela for my wedding hair and makeup! Kim is so sweet, easy to work with, and super responsive - she was very well organized from the initial quote conversation to week of wedding to make sure that I was taken care of. I don't wear much makeup, and have had some bad experiences with styling when I was a bridesmaid at other weddings, so I really wanted to find a great vendor who knew how to do a natural, yet elevated look. My hair and makeup stylists (Darlin and Angela) absolutely exceeded my expectations. First of all, they arrived on time and were so professional but easy going. Everyone in my wedding party looked AMAZING and more importantly, were all happy with their styles (which I feel like is a rare feat with 7 girls!). I personally loved my look - Darlin and Angela were amazing at taking into account my hesitations of looking too "done up", but at the same time, they were not afraid to encourage me to add on a pop that they thought would look great in photos. In short, I have nothing but positive things to say about Eye for Beauty! If you are looking for hair and makeup artists that will give you an elegant, yet natural, look for your wedding day, I cannot recommend them enough!

I absolutely loved working with Kim, Dominique, and Whitney from Eye For Beauty LLC for my wedding in the Catskills in upstate NY. I don’t wear a lot of make up on a regular basis so it was really important for me to find someone who knew a lot about hair/makeup and would help me find the right look. Kim is very responsive, takes the time to provide all of the information that you might need and is very proactive to ensure schedules align. I had a great time at my trial – I wasn’t totally sure what I wanted, and Dominique really helped me bring the natural look I was hoping for to life. Kim, Dominique, and Whitney did the hair and makeup for myself, my mom, my mothers in law, and my little sister. Everyone loved their looks and my mother in law was even inspired to add more make up to her regular routine! I can’t recommend Eye for Beauty LLC highly enough!

I cannot recommend Kim and the Eye for Beauty team enough!! Kim is the nicest, most genuine person and she can do any look you ask for. At first I thought I wanted to go very understated with my makeup and Kim totally understood that, but then a few months later I decided to do a second trial with her where I showed her a picture of a woman on YouTube and how she had done her makeup and Kim absolutely nailed it with the perfect understated glam!! I left that trial telling her that I wished I was getting married that day because it looked so incredible! Both Kim and Darlin are great at seeing your vision and making it look perfect on you - I also very much appreciated her wide shade-range (I am Indian-American with olive/golden brown skin) and her understanding of different skin tones. Kim is a total professional - she is incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and is totally open to suggestions! I also had them do makeup / hair for my mom, MoH, and sister-in-law and everyone's looks turned out beautifully! We all had different comfort levels with makeup and hair and she listened to each person to give them the look they desired and didn't make us all look the same. Kim's demeanor is also so relaxed and genuine which made me feel so comfortable and confident in her hands - I knew that she really cared about giving me the look I had showed her! I felt SO beautiful on my wedding day and I am so happy I worked with Eye For Beauty - they are truly the best and I cannot recommend them enough!

Kim and the Eye for Beauty team were fantastic to work with! From the start, Kim was easy to communicate and coordinate with. She was willing to be flexible with my timeline and even add an additional artist free of charge. Kim, Danielle, and Dominique did hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and our moms, and everyone looked great! Even after having my ceremony outside at the tail end of a rain storm, my hair lasted and I received compliments on how great it still looked even after the party was over. I highly recommend! Kim was easy to work with and answered my many emails quickly and thoroughly. And lasted all day and night. Angela did so good with my makeup! I was nervous because I don’t wear makeup normally and I wanted to look like myself. But she really listened to me and it was just perfect. Also lasted all day and night!

Kim and Darlin were amazing and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I wanted a natural make up look that Kim was able to create and I truly felt like the most beautiful version of myself. Darlin worked magic on my hair and created a beautiful fishtail half up- half down look for me and I loved it! My bridesmaids, mother in law, and mom were so happy with their hair and make up, everyone looked beautiful!

Kim and Darlin did the hair and makeup for me, my bridal party, and my mom. They did such an amazing job! Kim was able to do a natural look for us in makeup which was important as I wanted to look like a better version of myself not someone completely different. Darlin was able to recreate the hair that we all wanted from photos.

I am a little late to the review game, but Eye for Beauty was amazing. Kim was super responsive to all emails and made the whole process of booking hair/makeup very easy! We used Eye for Beauty for hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my 6 bridesmaids. Kim, Darlin, and Stephanie arrived early to set up and were very professional throughout the entire getting ready process. They listened to what everyone wanted and our hair and makeup looked great! I don't normally wear a lot makeup, and Kim did a great job ensuring I felt beautiful, but myself on my wedding day! Eye for Beauty was the most amazing team of hair and makeup artists. Kim had amazing communication from start to finish! I had so many questions because I am so lost in the hair and makeup world and she was able to answer and give advice for all of them. Also I had 10 ladies getting hair and makeup done that morning and Kim brought a team of 2 hair and 2 makeup ladies and they ran like a well oiled machine. We ended up being an hour ahead of schedule with all of the ladies looking absolutely stunning. I had girls in my bridal party with all different hair and skin type and they never had any problems making them look beautiful! They arrive early to setup and are super professional, friendly, and talented. Kim is also very responsive to emails and communication. My daughter contracted Eye for Beauty for her November wedding. Kim and her team were informative, professional, kind and nothing short of amazing. I have had the pleasure of working for kim doing hair services for all of our amazing brides the past two years, kim goes above and beyond to make sure not only her staff is happy and well prepared and comfortable for each event, but also goes above and beyond for her brides. Our team genuinely takes pride in the work we do and love eveey minute of it, not to mention the comrodery between team members is fun and genuine. We strive to make sure every detail is perfect and every single person is 100% happy and feeling confident with their look. With that being said not only do i love working for this amazing company and small business owner, but i also had the pleasure of being one of the companies brides this past November. Getting married during the pandemic was stressful enough, but the constant communication with kim was reassuring. I obviously knew i was in good hands. I had makeup services done by both Kim and Angela leading up to my big day, the are both so talented and i felt really beautiful. In All honestly my hair and makeup stayed all day and all night, not to mention my wedding day was pretty rainy after the church! My bridal party looked stunning, including my Aunts, Mother and Mother in law. Hair and makupe services for them were done by Dominique and Darlin, everything was flawless everyone was so happy and i couldnt have asked for a better experience, coming from someone who is not used to being in the opposite chair. I highly recommend Eye for beauty LLC, Kim and the team are truly amazing women, and i would use them 10 times over.

Kim and her team did an amazing job for my wedding! They worked with me and used tips from the trial to create the most perfect look, were so kind and patient, and very responsive. All of my bridesmaids couldn’t stop saying how nice everyone was and how great they felt! Everyone came up to me saying “They’re really good” after they got their hair and makeup done. Me and my girls felt beautiful on my day. My mom was impressed as she has sensitive skin and eyes and had no issues. Kim and her team even went out of their way to provide last minute services for my husbands aunt and cousin who asked if they could get theirs done after seeing ours. So happy I chose Kim and her team, do not hesitate to use them for your wedding!

Kim and her wonderful group of ladies were awesome. They were so kind and did such a great job day of. They even finished early! Everyone who got hair and makeup looked absolutely stunning the day off my wedding. Being someone who doesn't often wear makeup I didn't really know what I wanted and Kim and her crew listened and truly helped. Also Kim is so fast in responding. Even with a busy weekend scheduled full of weddings! I love that she also uses an online portal. It made payment and communicating so easy. 10/10 would recommend.

Kim and her team are truly amazing at what they do! They made me and my ladies look fabulous for our wedding day yesterday, guests really went out of their way to compliment all of the fun hairstyles and beautiful, but natural makeup looks that everyone had.
