Jaclyn was amazing to work with!!!!!! She let us sample so many flavors of cakes/fillings/icing. She also went above and beyond and made multiple ‘trial cakes’ to confirm she knew what my vision was. She made a gorgeous floral 4 tier wedding cake and cookie cake shaped and iced like Australia for our groom’s cake. She was so flexible, and I can’t recommend her enough!

Jaclyn did an incredible job on mine and my wife's wedding cakes! She met with us for a free consultation before we agreed to use her as our vendor and discussed flavors and tasting options. My wife and I live in Midland, so it was difficult to meet in College Station for a tasting but Jaclyn met us on the road while we were driving to Houston just to provide us some flavor options! My wife knew exactly what she wanted her cake to look like, but I had no idea. I work in the oil industry and went to A&M, so Jaclyn gave me some amazing ideas on incorporating both of those themes on my cake. She was easy to stay in communication with and we were very pleased with her pricing. She brought our cakes to the venue which was a great plus. I highly recommend Jaclyn and Fabulous Fare.

Jaclyn did an amazing job on our wedding cake. She was able to create exactly what I wanted from looking at a few of my "pinterest ideas". She was easy to communicate with and was very flexible. My husband wasn't able to meet us for the cake tasting so she made samples for me to take home for him to try. She is also very reasonable as far as pricing goes. I would highly recommend!

Jaclyn was absolutely amazing to work with! Her chewbacca cake turned out absolutely AWESOME and everyone was so impressed with the details on both cakes. As promised, she added all the flowers and topper on the cake and everything looked fantastic. Her sample platter was also incredible and we could very easily pick out our favorite combinations for either cake. She also suggested using sheet cake to save us some costs, super sweet of her as she could have easily not recommended that.

She provided my wedding cake and groom's cake and it was perfect, tasted amazing, and delivered with no issues at all. She delivered cake samples to my office to try. This is just an awesome family business, and they will always be my first choice in the B/CS area.

They made a perfect groom's cake of R2-D2 in a tuxedo. The cake was far bigger and better than I could of hoped and the price was very reasonable.

Jaclyn is absolutely amazing and SO easy to work with (and extremely organized). My husband and I chose Strawberry, pineapple, and Italian Cream for our flavors with regular buttercream. We could NOT have asked for a more perfect tasting cake and the look of the cake was better than I even dreamed. All of our guests still tell us how much they loved the cake. Would highly recommend Jaclyn to anyone. I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else.

We loved Jaclyn! She was so easy to work with and her cakes are AMAZING! We were not disappointed and neither were our guests. She delivered and set up day-of without any hassle, her prices were unbeatable, and her cakes were to die for. Not planning on getting married again, but if I did I'd use her every time!

Jaclyn is an amazing baker. She is so friendly and her prices are so reasonable. I got so many compliments from my guests about how good my cake was. She is so easy to work with. If I ever need another cake made for any reason she is defiantly who I will ask.

Both our bridal cake and the groom's cake were both absolutely delicious and looked amazing!

The cake was delicious, and Jaclyn made the process fun and stress-free!! We met her and she gave us the cake, filling, and icing options we had requested to go home and try out with family and friends! It was all so delicious and the cakes were so beautiful! She even put the Batman symbol on top of the Groom's cake for my husband! WONDERFUL!!

The process was so easy and fun with Jaclyn at Fabulous Fare! We got to taste as many flavors of cake, filling, and icing as we wanted and IN THE COMFORT OF OUR OWN HOME!! That was a nice touch by this company and definitely one of the reasons we went with them. We gave her an idea of what we wanted to do for the bride and groom cakes and she delivered spectacularly! We were so impressed with both cake designs when we showed up to the reception and the flavors were awesome!! The cakes were moist and easy to eat, I would have had several pieces had I had time to sit down and eat :) We also had many many comments from guests about how beautiful and delicious the cakes were! And Jaclyn offered to make us a fresh cake topper for our one year anniversary so we don't have to worry about freezing it for a year! Very nice touch! We will definitely be recommending Fabulous Fare to others!

There are a lot of cake vendors in Bryan/College Station. My fiance and I ate a LOT of cake as we were picking out our wedding cake. Jaclyn's cakes at Fabulous Fare are not only the BEST tasting by far (very moist cake, icing is smooth and creamy) but also the most economical. Jaclyn provides excellent customer service and designs beautiful cakes. HIGHLY recommend!

Fabulous Fare made the wedding cake and the groom's cake for my wedding on July 11, 2015. BOTH WERE AMAZING!!!! I had a 4-tier cake and was able to make each layer something different. Both cakes looked EXACTLY like the pictures that I had sent, and both tasted fantastic! Throughout the planning process, Jaclyn was extremely accommodating. I live in the Conroe area and have a very busy schedule, and Jaclyn was actually able to arrange to meet my mom to deliver some samples for us on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Everything was exactly what we requested. She did a great job!

Jaclyn is amazing. She met with us the first time and we came up with ideas for the bride and groom cakes and it was perfect the first time. She delivered cake and icing samples to our house for a tasting-it was amazing. Everything she brought us was so good, it was really hard to pick our favorites. Because of that, I pick two different flavors with my brides cake and she was totally in tune with it. She was always easy to get a hold of and does everything all herself. She was very detail oriented and the cakes were just amazing. I mean really. We had a Bride's cake with cream cheese icing with just a textured pattern going up the towers. One layer was White Almond and the other was a Chocolate Cheesecake Swirl with Cream Cheese filling. The Groom's was a German Chocolate cake with Chocolate Cream Cheese Icing in the shape of a tire that was throwing up mud on my cake. It was perfect.

Jaclyn is amazing! I cannot say enough great things about her - she definitely pulled through for us in the clutch! First of all, we drove to Bryan from Houston to meet with her for a consultation/cake tasting and when we arrived she informed us that she had some family hospital circumstances come up the night before our meeting and therefore was unable to bake/package some cake samples for us to try. The fact that she was still willing to meet with us, even in the midst of family mishaps, says a lot! Therefore, she overnighted cake/filling/frosting to us at our house in Houston and we were able to have a family cake tasting at home! Once we decided on flavors, I gave her my design for the wedding cake and after seeing it on the wedding day - she imitated my design PERFECTLY! Originally, we were going to have bread pudding as our "grooms cake," but unfortunately the final price of the bread pudding was way over budget (the bread pudding was coming from our caterer). So, with a week left before the wedding, Jaclyn was able to squeeze in another cake for the weekend of May 3rd and made an amazing buttercream spice cake in the shape of a Crown Royal bottle! Thank you Jaclyn! You're the best!

before i chose jaclyn i read horrible reviews and good reviews, so i decided id take my chances. i couldnt be any more happier with my choice! i got my cake, 60 cupcakes, and my grooms cakes. all night i was told how great they tasted! we met her at a local coffee shop and picked out flavors we'd like to try and she worked with us (being that we live south of san antonio) on a time to pick up the cakes we picked to try. They were all so delish!! we ended up getting white cake for my cake, strawbery cupcakes with strawberry filling and buttercream icing, oreo cupcakes with oreo filling and buttercream icing, maroon velvet cupcake with cream cheese icing and chocolate cake with chocolate icing for the grooms cake. id HIGHLY recommend jaclyn her cakes are AMAZING!!

Let me just say, Jaclyn is the best! She was SO accommodating and patient the cake and deserts were amazing we had so many people comment on how amazing it all was! Jaclyn went above and beyond the normal call of duty, I would highly recommend her for any event. We will definitely be using her from now on for any special occasions!!

When I was planning my own wedding here in College Station, this thread (http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/local-w edding-boards_texas-houston_not-use-fabulous-fare-cakes_.0) made me hesistate about Fabulous Fare. I had given her a call earlier and she didn't pick up at that time and I saw it as a "sign" because "Thank God I saw this post before I talked to her". But she called back adn we talked and she was VERY WILLING to do what ALL other bakers in town (including Cinderella's Stories) had refused to do: A tres Leches cake with fondant on it. I loved the cake, the taste was AMAZING, and tres leches with fondant is a very hard cake to make. She also gave me FREE rose cupcakes because I had mentioned I loved them in our conversation. So, please don't be misguided by this thread. I am a 2013 bride and I loved Fabulous Fare. I am coming back for my next cake need!

I ordered my wedding cake and groom's dessert bar from Jackie at Fabulous Fare. She gave us a ridiculously nice tasting where we got to mix and match 15 different cake flavors and icings at home and enough cake and dessert bar on our wedding day for 170 guests all for under $250!! You HAVE to use her!

My bride and groom cake were one of a kind...amazing! My husband and I do not eat cake so she made a 3 tiered wedding cheesecake for us that was delicious and beautiful! The groom's cake was a rice krispie treat in the shape of a helmet and had football themed treats to accompany it. She is very creative and wonderful to work with!

Jaclyn was AMAZING!!! she did such a wonderful job on our cakes.. My bridal cake was everything i wanted and more!!!We also had 2 rice krispie boots and they were so cute! i would definitely recommend her to all my friends!

Owner Jaclyn is an amazing baker. She was easy to work with and her creations definitely tasted amazing. We had a 5 tiered flavored cheesecake bride's cake and a giant chocolate groom's cake. Both cakes tasted delicious but slacked alittle in presentation. They were supposed to recreate my husbands '77 Chevy Nova on the grooms cake and it looked like a miniature drag race car or something. The cheesecake was foundant covered but it leaned quite a bit and the stenciling on it was messy. Overall the cakes tasted great, I just think the presentation was not very good quality.

Working with Jacqueline was truly a dream. She's very professional, artistic and truly cares for her clients. My wedding cakes and cookies were amazing! They were so moist and oh so beautiful! I highly recommend Fabulous Fare!

Fabulous Fare did a great job on our wedding cakes! They made the bride and groom cake for less than $800! We had 200 people at our wedding so this was a great price! The cake tasted amazing as well! We tried several different flavors before choosing red velvet for the bride cake and chocolate for the grooms. I sent her pictures of what I was looking for and she drew me some sketches and made it exactly what I was looking for! Chose Fabulous Fare, you will be happy you did!

Jacklyn is an amazing baker! She was the only one in the BCS area that I felt was down to earth and not exploiting us because our order was for a wedding. She met us at a local coffee shop to discuss ideas. We were pretty blank in what we wanted but she was so patient with us while we decided. Her prices are more than reasonable which is another reason we chose her. She has a HUGE selection of cake, frosting & filling flavors and will allow you to taste test as many combinations of each free of charge. She also made recommendations on what would go well together. We decided on lemon cake with raspberry filling and butter cream icing for the bride's cake and chocolate mint cake with cream cheese frosting for the groom's cake. Originally for the groom's cake we were just going to have a round cake with decorations but since it was a slow month for her, she let us know she could make a custom cake free of charge. Since my husband is a string bass player, she made it in the shape of a bass! It looked so realistic! Most bakeries charge extra for those kinds of cake but she definitely went the extra mile for us. The cakes were absolutely delectable! The portion was large too so people could & did have extras. We could not have asked for a better experience. She even allowed us to pay the day after the wedding since she knew things would & were crazy the day of. Talk about flexible! We could not have asked for a better cake!

The cake tasted AMAZING! She bakes the cakes fresh the day of the wedding so they don't taste frozen.;The cake design didn't translate well... I gave her a picture of what I wanted and it really didn't look like it. It tasted great though!
