otos, I’m sharing my experience. Our makeup was beautiful, however, Nertilas customer service is extremely lacking. Nertila made a very unnecessary and rude comment to my mom that she “should get plastic surgery to fix her face” (my mom asked her the best way to reduce the look of wrinkles during makeup application because she loved how moisturized her face was looking). My mom was very caught off guard and replied something like “oh my god”, to which Nertila BUCKLED DOWN and said “well, I’m just honest”. My mom was so extremely hurt by this that shes still talking and telling people about it 3+ months later - and I can’t blame her! These comments were completely unnecessary and extremely hurtful coming from someone who is supposed to make you and your bridal party feel good on one of the most important days of your life.  In regards to hair services, Nertila does not do hair, it seems she contracts different stylists. I ended up adding this service on and asked Nertila for my stylists information multiple times leading up to my hair trial. She never provided the stylists information and I had already paid a deposit to book the trial at that point. Fast forward to the day of my hair trial (only 4 days before my wedding), the stylist was an ENTIRE HOUR late to my trial. I sat patiently and kindly waiting in the stylist chair with just Nertila in her studio, having no idea that I would be waiting an hour because she never communicated that with me. Every time I asked Nertila for an update on the stylists arrival I was told “she’ll be here shortly”, which was not the case. My time was not valued.  After the hair trial concluded we discussed changes for my wedding day including wanting my bangs trimmed. The stylist did not bring her sheers that day, but promised she’d bring them on wedding day. I left the trial and sent a follow up email reminding them to bring sheers to my wedding day…. Fast forward 4 days to my wedding day, and you guessed it, the stylist showed up with NO sheers. She actually cut my bangs with random, dull, rusted craft scissors Nertila found in her studio. My bangs should have and would have been a lot shorter and out of my face had she brought the proper tools on my wedding day. In addition, my bun was loose and falling out the moment I put my veil on (which we tested during the trial), and this made my hair visibly messy in so many photos. Although our makeup looked beautiful, the experience itself was less than distasteful, and I would not recommend booking hair  services thru Nertila. Treating people with kindness and empathy goes a long way, especially when you have absolutely no idea what they are going thru.
