k during the makeup trial to make sure that I was comfortable with the amount of makeup she put on me. It felt very light and I didn’t feel like I was smudging on anyone I hugged during the day of the wedding. Julia did the makeup for half of my bridesmaids and they also looked amazing. I recommend Kelly (and Julia) as your wedding makeup artist.
Kelly and Julia from Face the Occasion were the absolute best! I cannot recommend them enough. Not only do they do stunning work, but they also were so flexible, so kind, and so fu...
n! I'm one of those Covid brides who had to postpone the wedding once, and rather than fully postponing a second time, decided to have our ceremony and small reception, and hopefully will have a full reception one day. Kelly was willing to move her schedule around to accommodate our postponed date, and her and Julia were able to make our new date work, even in the middle of all this craziness. I had 9 bridesmaids, and they listened to what each one wanted, creating the perfect look for each girl. They are incredible at creating the most beautiful natural look and enhancing your features in the best way, and also can create a more done-up look. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received, and my whole bridal party received. So many people asked where we got our hair and makeup done, because each girl looked so stunning. They were so fun to work with on the day of my wedding. My mom and all of the girls could not stop ranting and raving about them! For any future event I have, I will absolutely be contacting Face the Occasion!

law, and myself wanted. Her suitcase of makeup is jaw dropping and the quality of it all was amazing. Jill was professional, on time, and very responsive. Would highly recommend her and Face the Occassion
Face the Occasion, and Kelly specifically, was one of the best decisions I made during wedding planning. For whatever reason, choosing a make-up artist was one of the hardest thing...
s for me, and I ended up doing three trials. I really wanted to look and feel like myself, just a special version, and with other artists, I didn't feel like myself afterwards, and I didn't feel as if they were communicative enough to help me figure out what I was looking for. Kelly was so incredibly kind, patient, and talented. She spent so much time with me at my trial and made me feel instantly comfortable. I felt flawless on my wedding day, and my bridesmaids that had their make-up done kept coming up to me and saying, "Your make-up artist is seriously GOOD." Everyone's make-up still looked great over 10 hours after it was done, and I am so appreciative of Kelly for being so open, so talented, and so kind. She is exactly who you want to help transform you into a bride on one of the most special days of your life! Book Face the Occasion!

yone.
Jill from Face the Occasion was just wonderful. She did a magnificent job on all our makeup, many of my bridesmaids commented how it was the best wedding makeup they've ever had - ...
and I agree! She is prompt, talented, and very experienced. Also, they are affordable and flexible! Could not ask for more!
Kelly is absolutely amazing! I cannot thank her enough for the beautiful looks she created for me, my mother, and my grandmother on my wedding day. She truly understands her client...
s and their needs- and is very receptive to feedback. I had a traditional Indian wedding, but wanted to avoid the heavy, dramatic, bold make-up that is typically associated with it. Kelly was able to create a very natural look that made me feel just like myself, but better. She is very kind and patient - and hiring her was one of the best decisions I made.
Kelly was amazing! She addressed every concern my bridesmaids had about their makeup and did touch ups at the end to make sure everyone looked fresh. She arrived early to set every...
thing up and was perfectly on time (even ahead of schedule). My makeup, bridesmaids and mothers makeup were flawless and lasted all night! Even with the heat on our wedding day the makeup still held. Even traveled for trial and to our hotel the day of the wedding so we didn't have to worry about traveling at all! Such a great choice! Would recommend for anyone!
I'm so happy with the services provided by Face the Occasion! Our stylist was Kelly. She came to our apartment for the trial (so convenient) and spent nearly 2 hours with me - figu...
ring out the right shades, etc. She quickly responded to any emails I sent leading up to the wedding. Day of, she showed up on time with her complete makeup kit and a beauty chair to sit in while being beautified. Everyone looked gorgeous! Kelly listened careful to feedback in real time, so she could adjust the makeup look as she was doing it. She is so receptive to feedback - it's clear that her main goal is to please her clients. I wanted to make some changes to my look from that at the trial, and she executed them flawlessly. She stuck around after everyone was done for touchups/ adjustments, too. Not to mention, her services are very affordable compared to the rest of the market for onsite wedding makeup. Kelly has a gift for making you look flawless and formal yet still natural and not overdone. My makeup lasted all night, through dancing, sweating, and hugging - and only required a couple applications of blotting paper to control my shine (I admittedly have very oily skin). I didn't want to to wash it off at the end of the night! Thank you, Kelly, for your part in creating the wedding look of my dreams!!
