Faces Boston by Louise

Louise is truly amazing! She recently did my makeup for my September 30th wedding and my makeup was nothing but absolute perfection! Once Louise did my trial for my engagement photos, I knew instantly that she was the artist I wanted for "my big day." From the moment I first met her, Louise puts you at ease. She is easy to talk to and she just gets it. I didn't have to tell her much and she just knew what I wanted. She is truly talented and I am so blessed to have been able to work with her. I received so many compliments that night and people couldn't stop saying how beautiful I looked. I have also never seen both my mom and my mother-in-law look so amazing! I HIGHLY recommend Louise! She is a gifted artist!

Words cannot describe how incredible Louise is - a true artist!! I chose Louise, after a fantastic trial, to be my "beauty artist" for my June wedding. During the trial, which she came to me :-), she was professional, efficient and beyond fun - I knew I had to have her! All brides are nervous on the day of their wedding and I was no exception! Louise calmed my nerves, kept everything in order and on track which immediately alleviated some stress! Her work was amazing... better than I had remembered. My entire bridal party, including the Moms, looked the best I had ever seen them. Not only that, but they were thrilled with the results! The entire evening was filled with compliments... I selected Louise after being dissatisfied with another makeup trial, and fortunately a last-minute cancellation in her schedule opened her up on my wedding day ( I shouldn't have waited so long to look for and book a makeup artist!). I enjoyed Louise's demeanor, personality, and clear understanding and skill in makeup artistry. I sent her pictures of myself, hair, and my dress in advance, which really helped her to get some ideas before we even met. I was not super clear on what I wanted, but she was able to show me a few different things. She produced a super-edgy, high fashion look that was a little too much for me. Fortunately she's very easy to give feedback to, and she worked and worked until there was a glamorous look I was comfortable with. She kept track of all that she used on a face chart, and even made some recommendations for me to buy (a powder foundation and lip color for me to have on hand at the wedding). On the wedding day, she was on-time, efficient, and did wonderful work on my wedding party and lady family members. Everyone she did makeup for that morning looked stellar... my sisters and mother looked better than I've ever seen them, and they felt beautiful, too; it was obvious. I'm grateful to Louise for creating such a beautiful, long-lasting look that all of my special ladies felt so wonderful in, and in a style that was the perfect compliment to the dresses and wedding theme. I was delighted with my look, as well, and my makeup photographed beautifully and lasted despite being hugged and kissed and rubbed on by guests and family. Her prices are a little higher than what I was planning to spend, but in all fairness Louise is a very talented woman and she deserves to be compensated fairly for her quality of work. She was relaxed, friendly, understanding, and very pleasant to be around during both my trial and on the wedding day. Oh- and she comes to you! This was a must, and she came to my home both times. She is a true professional and I'm delighted to have worked with her.

I would recommend Louise's services to any bride that wants to look the most beautiful they've ever been for their wedding day. After my makeup trial, I felt confident she would do an amazing job on myself, my bridesmaids and my mom on the day of my wedding. I had a blemish the day of and she did an amazing job at covering that up. Not only that, but I received so many complements at how good my makeup looked. She makes your eyes really pop. The makeup stays on all day/night but at the same time you don't feel like it's caked on. I've never felt more beautiful and confident. I had 260 people at my wedding so it was important to me that my makeup was perfect. Thanks so much Louise! You are truly talented.

Louise did my makeup for my wedding in May of 2011. From the first email sent to Louise, she was more than accomodating. I planned my wedding 2,000 miles away from the Boston area, and Louise was so easy to get ahold of and very flexible in regards to meeting places/times. She actually came to where I was staying for my makeup trial (so helpful - because I didnt have a car and I am pretty unfamiliar with the area). Louise has a true talent as a makeup artist: she made me feel beautiful and listened to what I wanted. I've received countless complements on my makeup- which can only be described as flawless!! I was a bride who's tears started even before I walked down the aisle (and had an outdoor 55 degree windy ceremony) - so tears and all, my makeup DID NOT MOVE!! It was such a relief to know that I didnt have to worry about how I looked on my most special day. =) Louise is so professional, and such a neat nice gal, it was truly a wonderful experience working with her. She was on time, organized an professinal. Its obvious that she is perhaps the best in the business!! =) =) Thanks again Louise!!

My wedding day was flawless thanks to Louise. She made me feel relaxed and at no point she allowed anyone to interrupt our session. Throughout my day she reminded me it was about me and my husband. I am so thrilled that I hired Louise for my wedding day! She just "got it." I didn't have to tell her much and after the trial we had together a few months before the wedding I felt extremely comfortable that I was going to look how I wanted to (natural but enough makeup to look good in photos). She did my makeup before my engagement pictures (that was the day of my trial) and I got tons of compliments as well! My bridal party and my Mom looked fantastic. Before I got engaged, I knew I had to have Faces Boston by Louise be my wedding day makeup artist. She was the artist for Michelle, my future sister in law's wedding a couple years ago. Michelle is a very beautiful girl, but she looked absolutely STUNNING on her wedding day. When I got engaged last Dec., I emailed Louise and inquired about availability, pricing, etc. She immediately got back to me. I booked my trial for a couple months later and fell in love. She came to my apartment in Charlestown and really took her time figuring out what would look best, listening to my thoughts, and putting everything together. I booked her for my wedding the same day. I also recommended Louise to another one of my engaged girlfriends, who booked her as well. Her wedding was this past October, and Louise was amazing. The wedding party, MOB, MOG, and Bride all looked gorgeous. For my wedding day, I want to look like myself x 10 and that's what Louise does. She uses the best products and doesn't pile makeup on whatsoever. On top of being a fabulous professional, she's super nice which is something you obviously want for when looking for a wedding vendor. I would recommend Faces Boston by Louise to anyone looking for a makeup artist.

Louise Martino was one of my favorite wedding vendors! She perfected my look at my makeup trial and on my wedding day she made me, my mother, and my bridal party look incredible. Not only is Louise is incredibly talented but she listens to you and makes sure that you are 100% happy. She arrived early to the hotel on my wedding day and had everyone completed and ready for the wedding on time. She is punctual, professional, and so much fun to work with. My makeup lasted all night long through all of the happy tears and the crazy dancing. I would use Faces Boston again in a heart beat and I would absolutely reccomend her to anyone looking for a true professional to make them look gorgeous! Thank you Louise, you are the best!

Louise was a blessing to have on my wedding day. My makeup was far superior than any other time i have ever had it done. Everyone commented on how beautiful i looked i could not have been happier with her work. the difference in girls she did in the party versus the girls she didnt was astonishing. her professionalism and eye for the art is amazing. your lucky if lousie is your makeup artist!!!

Louis did an excellent job with my makeup on my wedding day. My makeup was flawless! I have never seen my skin so radiant (since I have bad skin, this was very important to me). She is patient, timely and a true artist. My wedding party's makeup was amazing as well. I truly recommend her 100%.

Louise did the make up for myself, my bridesmaids and mother in law for my wedding -- we could not have been happier! She was very attentive to how we wanted to look and our unique styles, but contributed great input and ideas to make sure we were all at our best. She's so skilled, and was a lot of fun to have around while we were getting ready. All in all the experience was fantastic with Louise, she is so good at what she does!

Louise is the best ever. When i met her for my wedding trial i knew i made the right decision on hiring Louise. She was friendly, fun and soooo sweet. Not to mention her work is AMAZING!!! Louise did my makeup and the makeup for my bridesmaids for my wedding. Louise was absolutely wonderful to work with. Not only is she a complete professional, but she brought great enery and was a pleasure to be around on my wedding day. Her work is wonderful and all of us looked beautiful. Louise was able to work with all of us well, even though we were all of different ethnicities and skin tones. She let the makeup reflect our styles and made it bring out natural beauty (rather than just feeling like you were caked in makeup).
