Faceworks International is a leading, award-winning hair and makeup agency that was the first to launch on-site wedding services by celebrity makeup artist Maria Miliotis in Miami, FL, in 2000. Maria has received professional degrees in esthetics, cosmetology, and professional makeup artistry from the top schools nationally and internationally. She started her career as a professional makeup artist for high-end magazines, fashion shows, and films in Miami Beach in the early 1990s. Her talent and charm led her to a career as a spokesmodel for many cosmetic products on televised infomercials. She also spoke at many nationwide conferences in front of hundreds of audience members, sharing her knowledge of airbrush techniques and skincare. Maria launched her company, Faceworks International, after many years in the industry and acquiring the right group of specialized artists to join her team. Faceworks has been featured on Lifetime Channel and, most recently, A WEDDING STORY. Her team not only works with wedding events but, most recently, on Broadway Shows, the United Nations Embassy, and Fashion Week. Maria expanded her business to the NYC and Tri-City area years ago, splitting her time between Florida and NYC. The artists of Faceworks regularly get specialized, up-to-date training from New York City, bringing the latest styles to Florida and the Keys. Maria and her team believe that providing excellent service at a fair price is not enough. Maria spends a great deal of time organizing all the details, from bringing your vision to life to booking the artists, creating a timeline, etc. She will be with you from the beginning to the end.
