when we had to change the venue due to COVID (and did not provide a reason why she wouldn't sign it), and then led most of the conversations we had with how difficult it is to get flowers and we should expect a price increase - before even having a chance to talk through the proposal. In hard times when there is a lot of stress and COVID uncertainty I felt like she made my experience difficult - no matter how beautiful the flowers might be, this kind of customer service makes or breaks the experience IMO! My bouquet was gorgeous but I didn't like that I wasn't able to request specific flowers. There ended up being a lot of purple hues in the flowers despite that never being part of our color scheme.

We had 170+ person wedding and had to change location/venue/colors about 3 times. Lana met with us multiple times to ensure she was creating the right experience! She helped with everything from the flowers at the ceremony to reception to dance floor cover, chargers and draping. She has a great eye for design and was able to help with recommendations on what would "look best." We are very happy we listened to all of her recommendations. When I say Lana goes above and beyond I truly mean it, the wind on our wedding day was extremely high and the infinity arch for the ceremony Lana created was absolutely beautiful but situated directly in the wind. In order to ensure the structure stood up the entire ceremony she hid behind it and held it up. No one noticed her the entire ceremony and she stood out there for 45 mins while everyone sat in order to make sure the arch was able to withstand the wind. She was amazing. If you are in between florist in the Orlando area you should absolutely meet with Lana, I guarantee Fairbanks Florist is the right place for your big day. It wouldn't have been the same without her!

ve at all so I just showed her some pictures of flowers that I liked. She asked me great questions to understand my style and vision for my wedding day. Lana was all about creating not just the florals, but the whole experience. She told my mom and I about the different candles she could place on the tables, lanterns, and vases. She worked with my mom in person for more than an hour after I had to leave our first consultation to get back to work. We knew from that first meeting she would make the wedding beautiful. Throughout the process, she worked with me to make some minor changes to the plans and answer my questions, never too busy to give me a call! Lana even suggested a specialty linen for the head table and cake table and helped us pick them out along with the chargers, coordinating the ordering and delivery. She even added an extra entrance arrangement just a week before the wedding. Then came the wedding day and I was completely blown away. What Lana and her team created exceeded my imagination and my dreams. My bouquet was so beautiful, the arrangement above the fireplace was gorgeous, and the ballroom looked stunning. The head table was truly a show stopper. I was in awe of everything - I don't even have the words to describe it. Friends and family all commented on the flowers and are still talking about them weeks later. Above all, everyone at Fairbanks Florist is very kind, dedicated, and truly cared about my wedding day. I was so glad to put all of the design of my wedding into Lana's more than capable hands and she created a complete masterpiece.

After seeing her proposal, it was way better than what I had imagined and one less thing I had to deal with. Even little items like votives adds up and I am glad I didn’t have any additional tasks on my plate leading up to the wedding. She provided much nicer accessories than I would have been able to find. Lana knew exactly what I was looking for with versatile ceremony pieces that could be used again in the reception space. I also provided her with my flower inspiration, requesting her to stick more to a color scheme than specific flowers so we could work with what looked best when she did the flower shopping versus demanding specific types of flowers that may be out of season. At the end of the day, Lana is an extremely experienced florist who does major events for a living... she provided me honest feedback that took my ideas and made them way better.

absolutely awe-struck at her beautiful work on my wedding day. I play the moment over in my head when I first saw my bouquet, I couldn't stop staring at the gorgeous chandelier during the reception, everything was a dream come true. The beauty truly warms your heart. Not only does Lana and her team create pieces of art, they are incredibly timely and hardworking. I can honestly say I was never once concerned things would run late, or the decor wouldn't be complete in time (and I requested a lot of florals!) Lana is so incredibly talented. vision of the wedding day. I was adamant about staying within our floral budget and Lana did a good job with delivering. She even suggested that we repurpose the flowers from the chuppah to some of the table centerpieces to stay within budget. It was evident she cared about what was important to me. About 2 months before the wedding, she put together a sample centerpiece to ensure that my vision was portrayed correctly. After seeing the sample, she could tell that I wanted to make some changes, and she did not hesitate to make everything right. You could tell that Lana truly wanted to make me happy and did not take anything personally when we made adjustments to the floral arrangement. Lana redid the sample centerpiece, and WOW, she nailed it! On the wedding day, Lana literally brought me to tears when I first saw my bouquet. I had never seen such a beautiful bouquet filled with orchids. The chuppah arrangement was a show stopper and was the perfect addition to our ceremony. She truly made my vision come to life. Lana is definitely the floral queen!

The head table was surrounded by a trellis of greenery and flowers, and a mix of floral accented high and low centerpieces filled the tables along with candles. Between the glow of the candles to the light from the string lights surrounding the dance floor, the entire room had such a warm feel and was the perfect setting for the epic dance party that ensued." Honestly, it was just so overwhelmingly beautiful. But, that's not all! Just as important as the beauty she designs and brings to life, Lana is such a joy to work with throughout the wedding planning process. She worked with my crazy schedule (I was planning a wedding in Florida while stationed across the world in Okinawa, Japan), helped us determine and work within our flower budget, and graciously offered us a military discount (without even asking). She is patient, organized, generous with her time and talent, and brilliant --a true artist and a true professional! Lana, we are eternally grateful to our favorite flower bud. She has a lot of stuff available to rent as well. We used her candle sticks and lanturns with the centerpieces, two large stands, and she even built an arch for us. I think she is a little on the expensive side, but it was totally worth it. When I got there and saw the flowers, they were exactly what we had talked about but even better than I could have imagined. She made a flower comb for my hair too, and it came out amazing. The flowers and other rentals really made the wedding so beautiful and look fantastic in our pictures.

Flowers were the most important part of the wedding for my mom, so it was worth the money to pay for beautiful decor and flowers. Lana was easy to get in touch with, and the flowers all arrived to the church on time on the day of the wedding. Our reception venue was pretty to begin with, but Lana made it even more beautiful and elegant. We got so many compliments! She also provided the fresh flowers for our wedding cake, and they were perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend speaking with Lana if you need a florist!
