We had an excellent 4-night stay at this Fairfield Inn. Our 5th floor room was new, clean and quiet. Nice shower and the convenience of a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The HVAC system worked well and the equipment quite quiet considering ...
the unit was next to the bed. I'd say the complimentary breakfast was a notch above average. The standards were available but I was happy to see a hot oatmeal "bar" with a dozen nut, seed and dried fruit toppings. Would happily stay here again.

We chose this hotel for the Level 2 EV chargers, and luckily one was available when we arrived, allowing us to charge overnight. Out of four chargers, one wasn’t functional, and the working one was partially blocked by a non-EV vehicle. Fortuna...
tely, the cable was long enough to reach our truck, but it would be great if the hotel maintained the chargers better and enforced EV-only parking.
The hotel itself was very clean and modern, and the bed was extremely comfortable with nice sheets. On the downside, the room felt quite dark, with only small, dim bedside lamps and no ceiling or bright floor lighting. The bathroom, while remodeled in a modern style, showed some poor workmanship—the toilet was crooked and the shower valve trim wasn’t aligned properly. Overall, a mostly positive stay with some areas for improvement, especially for EV guests.

As Marriotts go these days, this is a lovely property. Management obviously cares a lot about details, from the look of their lobby, to the halls, and the guest rooms. Everything is tastefully done, and the staff members were all friendly and e...
fficient. The only complaints were a bathroom fan (Room 307) that sounded like a B-52 taking off, and walls thin enough that noise became a bit of an issue. Otherwise, we had a comfortable, pleasant stay.

During my stay, a fire occurred in the room next to mine, and several inches of water entered my room through the walls and flooring, damaging my personal belongings. This was completely outside of my control.
What’s most concerning is how the...
hotel manager Joel Adamson and VP of Sales Omar Aquino handled the situation afterward. Despite clear documentation of my losses, i was told by Joel the hotel would not reimburse me for any of belongings because no insurance claim was being filled. Then after several emails back snd forth between him and I he offered me 10000 Marriott points which equates to $125 USD. Omar then emailed me again saying that they have declined to fully reimburse the damages and instead offered partial compensation that did not cover the actual cost to replace my items. No insurance claim or formal explanation was provided to justify the amount offered.
This review isn’t about the fire itself—emergencies happen. It’s about management accountability. If you’re considering staying here, understand that if your personal property is damaged during an incident, you may be left to absorb the loss yourself.
I encourage future guests to keep this in mind when deciding where to stay.

The rooms are small and dark. Only one lamp on the night stand and it does a poor job or lighting the room.
On my last day the cleaning crew entered my room and threw away all of the food in my refrigerator, BEFORE I had even checked out. We we...
re in our way back to the room to eat just to find an empty fridge. The GM offered a $20 credit but what family can get lunch anywhere these days for $20??
I took my son to Chick-fil-A down the street at got lunch, and brought the receipt back to the hotel staff and asked that the amount on the receipt be credited to my stay instead of $20. The lady at the front room the receipt and acted irritated, and I just got my bill and only the $20 was credited…not the $32 it costs us to replaced the meals they threw away.
I was being nice by only asking for the cost of the meal to be credited and not charging them for my personal time, gas, and inconvenience of disrupting my plans to go fix their error.
I tried to call and speak with the GM and he told me he isn’t crediting any more than $20 for leftovers. So I had to pay out of pocket for a mistake that the hotel made and they would rather lose a customer and eat a bad review than to credit the additional $10 that was owed.
I do not recommend this hotel at all and I for sure will not be back. Multiple other people in our group had issues with their rooms as well but this was just my personal experience.
