Look, here’s the short of it, don’t hesitate: hire Cass. Both my partner and I have historically hated taking photos and also hated photos of ourselves. Cass has changed the game. The hours we spent with her were not just tolerable, but FUN. Plus, the images we have seen so far are stunning! We were not looking for a bunch of up close couple portraits, but instead wanted photos that captured the landscape (that we loved so much), the way we felt that day, and our personalities/relationship. Cass nailed it. The pictures took my breath away and, as multiple friends and family remarked, look like paintings. A photo of me that looks like a freaking painting!?! No words. Cass changed our relationship with taking photos and our relationship with ourselves in photos… couldn’t ask for better. Thank you, Cass!

I normally never write reviews but Cass is the photographer you need for any event you have coming up! She just captured our engagement earlier this year and our wedding last month! We found her work on Facebook initially but the website for Fairy Tale Dreams Photography is very easy to find and access, and Cass was readily available for every question we had and every part along the way as well! Neither of us are very photographic people, however Cass was able to direct us in a way that made our engagement session and wedding photos like a fun date with no pressure and the outcomes of the photos were absolutely astonishing and did not look forced or directed at all. She is an expert in capturing the little moments in a very candid style. Even though in general we had felt a little awkward behind the camera in general prior to our experience with her, she made it feel completely stress free while also making it a great time! She was unbelievably accommodating and even came to check out our venue the day before ahead of time to plan out some great photo/lighting spots for the big day which we really appreciated as we were unsure of where would be best. She also made sure to capture all of the poses/shots we had saved to our Pinterest board for ideas of what we wanted while also making them individual to us! She is also great on timelines, I know a lot of photographers can take up to months after to send edited photos back, but we got our sneak peaks back in 2-3 days and the rest within a week! I could go on and on but overall we absolutely loved having Cass capture such a special time in our lives and we strongly recommend her to whoever is looking. I’ve had a lot of experience with different photographers and what sets Cass apart isn’t only that she truly cares about capturing the right moments for her clients but more importantly she truly cares about and gets to know the people she is photographing and it really shows in her work! The photos she took are the photos we will cherish for the rest of our lives and looking back on them we are certain that we wouldn’t have been able to get the photos of our dreams with anyone else!

Cass is seriously AMAZING! We did our engagement, rehearsal and wedding photos with her and we couldn’t have asked for better pictures, we were blown away. In addition to the great photos, Cass is the absolute best to work with. Prior to the wedding, she went above and beyond to make me feel supported with all my questions and requests. I knew we were in great hands after our engagement shoot but she didn’t stop proving that the entire duration of the time leading up to our wedding. She also went out of her way by hiking with us to our first look location and by working non-stop with us to get the perfect shots of our pup. She is so fun and has a great way of making everyone feel comfortable. I had members of both the bridal party and wedding guests approach me and express how much they loved Cass. Do yourself a favor and book Cass for your next shoot, she definitely exceeded our expectations and is so fun to work with!

Our wedding day was beautiful and adventurous and Cass captured it perfectly. She met all our photo requests without hesitation. She hiked with us 45 minutes to and from our ceremony location and then made her way to the reception where she noticed the details and took priceless pictures of our guests and our wedding party. It was an amazing day and one I can revisit time and time again thanks to Cass’s work.

I would give Cass 9 or 10 stars if that were possible. She did such a fantastic job capturing our wedding day and our photos are something we will now have to share for a lifetime. Being across the country, she made it super easy to coordinate things with, and it was the least stressful part of planning our wedding. On our big day, it started snowing enough that driving to where we had planned to do our pictures wasn't really an option. Cass was so quick to come up with an alternatives to make the most of the situation, and everything came out beautifully. She got us our photo's super quick too! I don't know how our pictures could have turned out any better!

Your wedding day is filled with moments you do not want to forget. Thanks to Cassie and her amazing attention to detail, my wife and I are able to relive that special day whenever we like by looking at the fantastic photos. Her ability to capture the candid moments evoke a feeling of awe and wonder when looking at the photos. Her level of work is unmatched in the North Country. Cassie photographed my wedding a few months ago and did a fantastic job! She has such a creative eye and comes up with awesome ideas for poses! She creates a very calm, relaxed and fun atmosphere during the shoot. It doesn't feel like a photo shoot, it's almost like she isn't there at all. She got the photos back to me really quickly through a website link, and I also got a flash drive with all the pictures in a gift box along with a candle and a few other things! You can tell that Cassie puts a lot of thought and creativity into every session and really gets to know each one of her clients! After having worked with her, I could never imagine using a different photographer in the future!

The first thing I did when planning my wedding was book Cass. We had won our engagement shoot with her years ago in a photo contest, and once seeing those pictures I knew I needed her for my big day. Cass captures more than the moment, but the feeling and emotion of that moment locking it in time so that you can relive it every time you look at her photos. My wedding photos are the thing I most cherish from that day. She was there from start to finish, never missing a moment, even the smallest ones that are so perfect, that anyone else would look over, but they are so important. I can only hope that she will be there for every milestone in our lives as long as we can have her! ❤️

She captured so many moments I did not even know happened! I loved our candids and her journalistic way of capturing our special day. We had no idea where to start when looking for a photographer for my daughter’s wedding. Someone mentioned Fairytale Dreams and we were lucky enough to book her! Cass was a dream come true! She was completely incognito, meaning she never got in anyone’s face, yet she was able to capture some absolutely amazing shots! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a very creative and thoughtful photographer and I sincerely hope to have a chance to use her again!!!

Cassandra was absolutely amazing! From the first time I spoke to her she made me feel comfortable & I was confident that she was exactly what I was looking for. Throughout my year of wedding planning she always answered my emails promptly & seemed genuinely happy every time I would send her another shot I wanted to add to the photo list. The day of the wedding I honestly forgot she was even there (don't get me wrong, she is a wonderful, enjoyable person to have around, but it's a great thing when you can enjoy your wedding day without feeling like someone is taking your picture constantly)! My husband and I were looking at the amazing pictures she took & saying to each other "I didn't even know she was there for that!" The actual photos were so much more than I could have ever expected (and I expect a lot). I love a good formal shot, but what I really wanted were the "real" shots of the day. The amount of emotion she captured in the pictures brought us to tears when we looked at them. I love that she does "sneak peak" photos within 48hrs of the wedding. It was so exciting to see some of our best pictures so soon. We had the cd of all of our pictures in less than a month after the wedding! She has a true talent & we are so happy she photographed our wedding!

Absolutely amazing experience! She traveled 50 + miles for consultation, traveled even farther for the wedding day. Cassandra and Amanda, who was her second shooter were humble. This was so important to me with our photographer. She had control of the crazy crowd, yet spoke with an aire about her. Highly recommend!
