Faith Dugan, Photographer

keen eye and works diligently to get the perfect shot. She ensured every photo we wanted to capture was taken and kept us running on-schedule. She does this while also keeping a fun atmosphere and making everyone feel comfortable. Faith even went above and beyond photographer duties helping me to bustle my dress before our reception. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and we have received so many compliments from family and friends as well. Faith truly captured the day from key moments to small details and she is exceptionally talented. We couldn’t have had a better experience. I highly recommend Faith as a photographer who will capture all of your wedding moments to enjoy for years to come!

she kept us on schedule and gave us clear and helpful direction for posing, making us feel comfortable and at ease. The quality of the photos is outstanding, capturing every special moment beautifully. We absolutely love our photos and will cherish them forever. We highly recommend Faith to anyone in need of a talented and reliable photographer.

getting everyone in the right spots. The final results were amazing, it was a grey windy day and with the family pictures we took outside, we weren’t sure how they were going to come out but they were all amazing. For a couple that aren’t always smiley she managed to get so many candid pictures of us naturally smiling at one another. Even though she was constantly taking pictures it was still incredible at how many pictures she sent to us. I would highly recommend her to anyone for their event.

s and colors eye-catching, but she was able to capture the happiness of the day. Additionally she got us our photos back very quickly!!

the day. Working with her was so easy - her online portal is super organized and she is totally receptive to the kinds of photos you will request. On the day of our wedding, we were so happy we picked her as our photographer because she captured all of the special moments without us feeling like we had a camera in our face all day. She is great with timing/schedules and will keep the day on track while also allowing for spontaneity as it arises. She truly went above and beyond for us our of the goodness of her heart and wanting to capture every single moment. Seeing the photos after the fact did not disappoint! She gave us more than enough to choose from, and it felt like every single shot was the perfect one. We had a great mix of candids and posed photos, and had all the best moments captured throughout the whole day and night. We cannot recommend her highly enough!!!

ble. She shoots everything manually and her quality is impeccable. Her photo style is timeless. She is a great communicator and easy to work with. She is enthusiastic and upbeat. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Family and friends commented how wonderful she was at our wedding and they could not believe how many photos she took. She took the time to learn the names of everyone in the wedding party, got to know family dynamics (we have 4 divorced parents to work with) and made people feel comfortable. She is worth every penny!

rs ago. To say she lived up to our expectations is such an understatement. Faith was amazing, she offered us so much help along the planning when we thought about our portraits including looking and feel as well as multiple locations recommendations. She really was a photographer + planner for us. She even made recommendations for us on how to facilitate including our dogs in the day. She was amazing, so organized, so energetic and so personable She made us feel so at ease in front of the camera and kept the energy high with our family including toddlers to capture family shots. The photography is stunning and I can't recommend her enough. We live out of town but will continue to come back to Newport to work with Faith and her team for any future family photography. Also, was totally amazing at our wedding she recognized the bridesmaid who referred us to her. She must meet so many people but you can tell the care and passion for the work in how she works with clients and remembers everyone.

ictures came out more beautiful then I could have hoped for! I hope I get to run into her again or use her for photography again at some point in my life, she was such a joy to work with!

who you fully trust to capture the best moments throughout the night! Since we were planning our wedding from across the country we were nervous we weren’t going to find someone to fit our needs and wants… well we found her!! We met Faith through facetime after finding contacting her, she was extremely kind, professional and an amazing person to work with! Even though we didn’t meet in person until the day before our wedding (she offered to meet earlier of course but we live across the country) she truly had our full trust! Throughout everything we discussed, Faith was extremely accommodating and gave us peace of mind. She even gave us some amazing suggestions for different photos we could have (such as having guests blow bubbles after the ceremony, which turned out to be some of our FAVORITE photos!!) She completely took all the stress out of our wedding photography and was there for us even months later when we were having technical difficulties. If your thinking of hiring Faith, do it! You will not be disappointed!

fessionalism and with the same wonderfully warm attitude as a large event. Working with Faith is easy, payments are convenient and her quality of work is outstanding. Working with Faith is like working with a close friend!

ing photos fun! We felt so comfortable with her as soon as we met, and I could not be happier with my photos! Because we felt so comfortable our pictures are beautiful and look natural. Faith went the extra mile with a change in venues, staying longer than she was booked for on our wedding day, and rushing pictures back so I could send thank yous! Faith also helped us find other amazing vendors, such as hair and makeup, videography and a getting ready location. She helped us set a timeline for the day that we could easily stick to. Faith had a questionnaire that makes sure she knows what aspects of the day are most important to photograph and to make sure you have pictures with everyone on the list. It’s easy as the bride and groom to lose track of time on the day of, but Faith approached us at the perfect times to make sure we had photos with different groups of family/friends. She also works hard post wedding in order to make a beautiful, custom album. If you want to have the best photos with the nicest, most talented photographer book Faith! She truly cares about capturing all the details of your wedding! Of all of our decisions, my husband and I both agree, Faith was the best!

wedding and maternity photos done by her. She is always responsive and has great ideas for places to go in the area based on your preferences for backgrounds. I love the way she edits photos with bright and punchy colors. I also appreciate we own our photos and have the ability to print & share on our own.

io to check open dates. That was over the summer of 2019 before everything changed. We've gotten to know her even better than if everything had gone as planned. Our images are incredible and she made the "formal" portraits fun. I'm a guy that doesn't really get excited about the thought of having my picture taken...in fact, I kinda dread it. Faith has a way of making it easy, cool and painless. I was very comfortable and didn't mind it. My wife is thrilled and I'm learning what the phrase "happy wife...happy life" means! Thanks, Faith!!

s. I never felt abandoned and heard from her often through my engagement. Faith would answer my questions in a timely manner and helped me with all kinds of details. She helped me secure rental spaces for indoor photos and prepared a timeline to keep everything on track. She and her assistant were dressed professionally, arrived promptly and had everyone entertained all day. Our photos were delivered much earlier then I expected. We love our images and will cherish them for a lifetime.

ult of family members. I had an extended engagement due to the global health crisis and she made navigating state regulations a breeze. We even cried together on the phone this spring when the Governor lifted restrictions and green-lit weddings & events again!

ith as our photographer moving forward any time we need pictures done! Thank you for everything Faith!

D, we downsized our wedding and moved from a venue to my parent's backyard. Faith quickly jumped in and assisted me in hiring new vendors, right down to the portable toilets I needed now that we moved to a private residence. These were little details I didn't even think of but because Faith has covered all types of events, from grand mansion weddings to backyard BBQs, she knows logistics of how events happen. There were several times I just cried on the phone with her when the stress was just too much. She felt more like a friend then a wedding professional. I will miss her now that my wedding is over! Our family & friends loved her attitude and work ethic. Our pictures were delivered way sooner then I expected. Every moment was document and I am thrilled with our coverage. I am so happy we made the right decision for our wedding and I know you will be, too!

she was thorough and professional, and also warm and thoughtful, she made me feel so comfortable from the start. She was oh so patient! with my multiple panic texts asking her to help me decide what to wear for the engagement shoot. The engagement shoot session and pictures were both amazing, she was so organized so we could time the pics with the sunset and she knew the most beautiful spots and perspectives, and she took all our preferences into account (i.e. if I wanted more greenery or more flowers/colors, but also wanted the ocean, at what point we wanted to change outfits, if we wanted this or that pose). She even managed to make my now husband laugh and enjoy himself even though he's not into pictures at all. She helped make sure things went smoothly and on time on the wedding day (I'd say she was as essential as the coordinator or more), and our wedding pictures came out stunning, and as a plus, she got them to us so quickly and in such a thoughtful way, in a beautiful engraved usb and case. I'm so happy I found her and if we need pregnancy, baby or family pictures in the future will make sure to hire her again for sure!

h high quality work throughout along with exquisite professionalism. She did a great job with deciphering our visualization for our engagement photos and wedding day and creating poses and finding locations to match everything we had spoken about. She took the time to meet with me for hours, whether it be in person or on phone, prior to our photo shoots. I loved the way she edited our photos for they looked high definition quality and color and very natural. Did not appear over edited at all. Faith has a wonderful personality to work with and fit along great with our big Italian family. She has photographed two of my cousins wedding and now mine, so we consider her our family photographer! Highly recommend for your big day!

hotographer.

me suggestions to make our day perfect. She was professional and personal. She really wants to get to know her brides. On the day of my wedding, I felt like I had known her for years, which made me very comfortable. I highly recommend her, she is truly the best!

engaged and was starting to plan our wedding, this was a top priority to make sure the outcome would be perfect. From our first meeting with Faith, I knew she would be the one to make sure every detail was captured, every moment encapsulated in photos. Everything was incredible. She does the work of 3 photographers. We were all blown away by her amazing sense for capturing the right look or pose, and her easy-going personality mixed with just the right amount of direction made for some of the most spectacular wedding photos I have ever seen! If anyone is looking for a photographer, she’s your girl. Hands down.

he picked was perfect and she could not have been more accommodating. A true professional.

are top notch. Highly recommended!!!

tful. Highly, highly recommend!!!

estions you may have along the way. We would recommend her to any of our family and friends. 5 stars!

s and how it was the best decision she made. I couldn't agree more! Faith has a bubbly personality and is great to work with. She is extremely professional, answered all of our questions and was a calming presence the day of the wedding! I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone getting married looking for a fabulous photographer!

with Faith I just knew she was going to be perfect for our day. One of my biggest concerns having a winter wedding in Newport was obviously snow. She made me feel confident that no matter what she would be there. Communication with her throughout the year leading up to the wedding was spot-on, her detailed planning meeting was great and she had a ton of awesome suggestions since I was a little more about not wanting a super scheduled day. Day-of her and our second shooter were perfect. We had a rowdy wedding party and they corralled everyone with a smile on their faces. Faith even helped save the day when my bustle broke. She is also incredibly thoughtful and such a caring person. I can't say enough great things!

shoot and it rained that day. So we took the opportunity to use that time for photos at our Welcome Party - it was great! Turns out, we loved our Welcome Party photo shoot with our friends and family in town. For our wedding, Faith captured those special moments at the perfect time. The coloring, the lighting, the moment - perfect! I highly recommend Faith and we will use her again for family events in the future. Thank you, Faith!! :)

the day and made some really helpful suggestions. We had a total of three meetings, in-person and on the phone, before my wedding. On the day of the wedding, she did a great job corralling my family before the ceremony and had inventive ideas for photo locations. She and her assistant, Theresa (also fantastic), were all over our reception capturing every detail. The photos were exquisite and she had them to us within two weeks of our wedding. Faith did an impeccable job capturing the most important day of her life, and I would recommend her to anyone planning their wedding.

a timeline, recommendations & referrals. I reached out several times throughout my engagement for help with my planning and she was always quick with a response. Our images are amazing and provided to us much earlier then we ever expected!

time to have a really wide-ranging discussion in the early stages of our wedding planning to get to know me, my fiancée, and my family. It was super confidence inspiring and made a huge difference in how comfortable I felt throughout the process. We picked Faith not just for her "bedside manner" but for her real gift for candid photography--she has exceptionally good taste and an amazing eye for little moments that really make for more poignant memories than posed photos could. It often felt more like having a photojournalist at the wedding than a regular photographer--she didn't just document the event, she found a way to tell a story of the event in images. I could go on! She's just the best, and I'm really grateful for everything she did for us.

our pictures which were delivered far earlier then we expected. Go hire her!

nquisitive and really got what my husband and I were looking for. At the rehearsal photoshoot, she made us feel comfortable and we honestly had a blast! Faith maintains incredible and communication and is so accommodating. We couldn't be happier with the photos from our wedding! And, I have to mention, when my bustle kept disconnecting, Faith saved the day with a couple of extra pins. She's the best and completely irreplaceable!!!!

nts to help plan our perfect day. Our photos were delivered ahead of schedule on an adorable USB. We will forever cherish these moments she captured so enthusiastically for us. Thank you, Faith!

the day of the wedding. We loved how our pictures turned out and would definitely recommend her.

ately understood what we wanted from our ceremony and our photographs. She's a pleasure to work with and it really shows in the pictures, she has an amazing way of putting everyone at ease. Plus, the final photos are amazing! We look forward to working with her again :)

n’t have a bigger heart. We had a family emergency shortly after our wedding and had requested a few photos of the person that was recovering. What she did next was completely unexpected. Before we knew it, we had all 2,000+ photos from our entire wedding (4 weeks sooner than expected). Being able to share our special day with our family during a difficult time was something I’ll forever be grateful for.

did our engagement photos which came out so beautiful and shared a sneak peak of our wedding photos and I truly was at a loss for words. I can't wait to see the rest of our images! So happy to have found a lifetime family photographer. Highly recommend!!!!

behind the camera on our wedding day and the photos turned out better than I could have ever expected! Faith, thank you SO much!

ail or phone calls. Many of the vendors that I worked with treated us like we were just another 'notch' in the wedding belt for them, but not Faith. She made the entire process (from when we first got engaged til this day, almost 3 months after my wedding!) so personal and so special for us. She checked in with me constantly to see how I was doing and if I needed anything, and that's something that meant a lot to me. The day of was a dream, and Faith made it all the more special for us. She was supporting us around the clock and never got in the way of anything - she was by far my favorite vendor we chose. The pictures she took came out INCREDIBLE. Everyone that we know has asked us who our photographer was, and that our pictures look like they should be in a magazine. She is a sweetheart and truly cares about each and every one of her clients. If you are looking to get married in the New England area then Faith is your girl!

ooking for and my first phone conversation with her sealed the deal. She is kind, bubbly, friendly and most importantly— knows exactly what she is talking about. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, she sent regular emails to check in and always asked all the right questions. She even functioned as a stand in wedding planner helping me with our wedding related decisions. Her experience and genuine desire to make my day perfect always steered me in the right direction. On the day of, my girls could not say enough good things about her. She had helped me develop a timeline and kept us on schedule to ensure that everything went according to plan. And when the lining of my dress ripped during the first look and then my bustle broke when dancing it was Faith who stepped in to save the day and fix me up! She is an absolute dream come true. And my photos, which I received in 2 months (amazing considering I got married in late August at the peak of her season and there were >1600 of them!!) were absolute perfection. Friends and family members who were there and even those who couldn’t attend have reached out to rave about her incredible work. Faith is possibly the best decision I made for my wedding and I can’t imagine my day without her. Any bride who is lucky enough to snag her can rest assured that she will do everything in her power to ensure that not only do you have most perfect day but that you can relive each beautiful moment again and again.

needs. She kept us on time and we were able to spend plenty of time with our guests. I never felt in the dark at anytime before or after the wedding. Our pictures will be cherished for a lifetime and we are so thrilled with our experience from start to finish. Highly recommend especially to busy brides from out-of-state. Faith knows her stuff and helped me plan my day. She even answered my numerous non-photography related questions and assisted me in assembling a wonderful vendor team for my day.
