We loved Faith! She was such a calming presence in the craziness that is wedding planning. She is a kind soul who just loves love, and wants to help capture the special moments of the day. Working with her was so easy - her online portal is super organized and she is totally receptive to the kinds of photos you will request. On the day of our wedding, we were so happy we picked her as our photographer because she captured all of the special moments without us feeling like we had a camera in our face all day. She is great with timing/schedules and will keep the day on track while also allowing for spontaneity as it arises. She truly went above and beyond for us our of the goodness of her heart and wanting to capture every single moment. Seeing the photos after the fact did not disappoint! She gave us more than enough to choose from, and it felt like every single shot was the perfect one. We had a great mix of candids and posed photos, and had all the best moments captured throughout the whole day and night. We cannot recommend her highly enough!!!

She shoots everything manually and her quality is impeccable. Her photo style is timeless. She is a great communicator and easy to work with. She is enthusiastic and upbeat. Faith came recommended to us from a friend of a friend who had the most amazing things to a say about working with her as she was a bridesmaid in a wedding Faith had shot a few years ago. To say she lived up to our expectations is such an understatement. Faith was amazing, she offered us so much help along the planning when we thought about our portraits including looking and feel as well as multiple locations recommendations. She really was a photographer + planner for us. She even made recommendations for us on how to facilitate including our dogs in the day. She was amazing, so organized, so energetic and so personable She made us feel so at ease in front of the camera and kept the energy high with our family including toddlers to capture family shots. The photography is stunning and I can't recommend her enough. We live out of town but will continue to come back to Newport to work with Faith and her team for any future family photography. Also, was totally amazing at our wedding she recognized the bridesmaid who referred us to her. She must meet so many people but you can tell the care and passion for the work in how she works with clients and remembers everyone.

Faith was absolutely amazing! I felt so comfortable with her and felt she really listen to my ideas and what I was aiming for. She is very responsive to questions and ideas! Her pictures came out more beautiful then I could have hoped for! I hope I get to run into her again or use her for photography again at some point in my life, she was such a joy to work with!

When looking for a wedding photographer we wanted someone who we truly had a connection with, with all the work that goes into preparing for a wedding celebration you want someone who you fully trust to capture the best moments throughout the night! Since we were planning our wedding from across the country we were nervous we weren’t going to find someone to fit our needs and wants… well we found her!! We met Faith through facetime after finding contacting her, she was extremely kind, professional and an amazing person to work with! Even though we didn’t meet in person until the day before our wedding (she offered to meet earlier of course but we live across the country) she truly had our full trust! Throughout everything we discussed, Faith was extremely accommodating and gave us peace of mind. She even gave us some amazing suggestions for different photos we could have (such as having guests blow bubbles after the ceremony, which turned out to be some of our FAVORITE photos!!) She completely took all the stress out of our wedding photography and was there for us even months later when we were having technical difficulties. If your thinking of hiring Faith, do it! You will not be disappointed!

Faith is an amazing photographer that is both professional and friendly. We had a small wedding with no wedding party and she was able to capture our event on the same level of professionalism and with the same wonderfully warm attitude as a large event. Faith Dugan Photography was the best decision we made for our wedding, and I wish I could give her more stars! Faith is so friendly and warm and made our engagement photos and wedding photos fun! We felt so comfortable with her as soon as we met, and I could not be happier with my photos! Because we felt so comfortable our pictures are beautiful and look natural. Faith went the extra mile with a change in venues, staying longer than she was booked for on our wedding day, and rushing pictures back so I could send thank yous! Faith also helped us find other amazing vendors, such as hair and makeup, videography and a getting ready location. She helped us set a timeline for the day that we could easily stick to. Faith had a questionnaire that makes sure she knows what aspects of the day are most important to photograph and to make sure you have pictures with everyone on the list. It’s easy as the bride and groom to lose track of time on the day of, but Faith approached us at the perfect times to make sure we had photos with different groups of family/friends. She also works hard post wedding in order to make a beautiful, custom album. If you want to have the best photos with the nicest, most talented photographer book Faith! She truly cares about capturing all the details of your wedding! Of all of our decisions, my husband and I both agree, Faith was the best!

She captured our proposal perfectly and we’ve since had our engagement session, wedding and maternity photos done by her. Faith came highly recommended by a friend. We saw her and her second photographer in action at their wedding. 2020/2021 was quite the interesting year to plan a wedding! Hiring Faith was the best decision I could have made. She kept me informed of wedding capacity guidelines and regulations. I never felt abandoned and heard from her often through my engagement. Faith would answer my questions in a timely manner and helped me with all kinds of details. She helped me secure rental spaces for indoor photos and prepared a timeline to keep everything on track. She and her assistant were dressed professionally, arrived promptly and had everyone entertained all day. Our photos were delivered much earlier then I expected. We love our images and will cherish them for a lifetime.

Faith made my dream wedding a reality with great ideas, beautiful backgrounds, true-to-life color and a warm personality. She's a team player able to work with even the most difficult of family members. I had an extended engagement due to the global health crisis and she made navigating state regulations a breeze. We even cried together on the phone this spring when the Governor lifted restrictions and green-lit weddings & events again!

Planning a wedding is stressful enough...then the global pandemic happened. Faith was there every step of the way helping us with our plans that changed multiple times. Due to COVID, we downsized our wedding and moved from a venue to my parent's backyard. Faith quickly jumped in and assisted me in hiring new vendors, right down to the portable toilets I needed now that we moved to a private residence. These were little details I didn't even think of but because Faith has covered all types of events, from grand mansion weddings to backyard BBQs, she knows logistics of how events happen. There were several times I just cried on the phone with her when the stress was just too much. She felt more like a friend then a wedding professional. I will miss her now that my wedding is over! Our family & friends loved her attitude and work ethic. Our pictures were delivered way sooner then I expected. Every moment was document and I am thrilled with our coverage. I am so happy we made the right decision for our wedding and I know you will be, too!

Faith is the best, I'm so grateful I found her thanks to her excellent reviews, so I should pay it forward by writing a review too. From the first day we talked on the phone I knew she was thorough and professional, and also warm and thoughtful, she made me feel so comfortable from the start. She was oh so patient! with my multiple panic texts asking her to help me decide what to wear for the engagement shoot. The engagement shoot session and pictures were both amazing, she was so organized so we could time the pics with the sunset and she knew the most beautiful spots and perspectives, and she took all our preferences into account (i.e. if I wanted more greenery or more flowers/colors, but also wanted the ocean, at what point we wanted to change outfits, if we wanted this or that pose). She even managed to make my now husband laugh and enjoy himself even though he's not into pictures at all. She helped make sure things went smoothly and on time on the wedding day (I'd say she was as essential as the coordinator or more), and our wedding pictures came out stunning, and as a plus, she got them to us so quickly and in such a thoughtful way, in a beautiful engraved usb and case. I'm so happy I found her and if we need pregnancy, baby or family pictures in the future will make sure to hire her again for sure!

Faith was beyond wonderful to work with as our photographer through our wedding process. From our engagement photos to our wedding day and then our photo album, she provided us with high quality work throughout along with exquisite professionalism. She did a great job with deciphering our visualization for our engagement photos and wedding day and creating poses and finding locations to match everything we had spoken about. She took the time to meet with me for hours, whether it be in person or on phone, prior to our photo shoots. I loved the way she edited our photos for they looked high definition quality and color and very natural. Did not appear over edited at all. Faith has a wonderful personality to work with and fit along great with our big Italian family. She has photographed two of my cousins wedding and now mine, so we consider her our family photographer! Highly recommend for your big day!

Faith is incredible! I had shopped around and had quite a few very "generic" phone calls with potential photographers all who left me feeling meh. From my first phone conversation with Faith I just knew she was going to be perfect for our day. One of my biggest concerns having a winter wedding in Newport was obviously snow. She made me feel confident that no matter what she would be there. Communication with her throughout the year leading up to the wedding was spot-on, her detailed planning meeting was great and she had a ton of awesome suggestions since I was a little more about not wanting a super scheduled day. Day-of her and our second shooter were perfect. We had a rowdy wedding party and they corralled everyone with a smile on their faces. Faith even helped save the day when my bustle broke. She is also incredibly thoughtful and such a caring person. I can't say enough great things!

We previously arranged for an Engagement photo shoot and it rained that day. So we took the opportunity to use that time for photos at our Welcome Party - it was great! Faith was fantastic right from the start. She has a wonderful, warm personality that puts you right at ease. We had a great first meeting and she walked me through every detail of the day and made some really helpful suggestions. We had a total of three meetings, in-person and on the phone, before my wedding. On the day of the wedding, she did a great job corralling my family before the ceremony and had inventive ideas for photo locations. She and her assistant, Theresa (also fantastic), were all over our reception capturing every detail. The photos were exquisite and she had them to us within two weeks of our wedding. Faith did an impeccable job capturing the most important day of her life, and I would recommend her to anyone planning their wedding.

Faith is simply THE BEST! She is the most enthusiastic and detail oriented person I’ve ever met. Before we knew it, we had all 2,000+ photos from our entire wedding (4 weeks sooner than expected). I cannot say enough positive things about Faith! We had our wedding in Newport, RI (a destination for us coming from NY/CT) and all of the planning that I had to do was done via email or phone calls. Many of the vendors that I worked with treated us like we were just another 'notch' in the wedding belt for them, but not Faith. She made the entire process (from when we first got engaged til this day, almost 3 months after my wedding!) so personal and so special for us. She checked in with me constantly to see how I was doing and if I needed anything, and that's something that meant a lot to me. The day of was a dream, and Faith made it all the more special for us. She was supporting us around the clock and never got in the way of anything - she was by far my favorite vendor we chose. The pictures she took came out INCREDIBLE. Everyone that we know has asked us who our photographer was, and that our pictures look like they should be in a magazine. She is a sweetheart and truly cares about each and every one of her clients. I can’t say enough amazing things about Faith and Jefferson. From the moment I started researching photographers I knew that Faith’s style fell perfectly in line with what I was looking for and my first phone conversation with her sealed the deal. She is kind, bubbly, friendly and most importantly— knows exactly what she is talking about. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, she sent regular emails to check in and always asked all the right questions. She even functioned as a stand in wedding planner helping me with our wedding related decisions. Her experience and genuine desire to make my day perfect always steered me in the right direction. And my photos, which I received in 2 months (amazing considering I got married in late August at the peak of her season and there were >1600 of them!!) were absolute perfection. Friends and family members who were there and even those who couldn’t attend have reached out to rave about her incredible work. Faith is possibly the best decision I made for my wedding and I can’t imagine my day without her. Any bride who is lucky enough to snag her can rest assured that she will do everything in her power to ensure that not only do you have most perfect day but that you can relive each beautiful moment again and again.

I am over the moon with my wedding pictures! We are so happy with our coverage. Faith accommodated all of my photography requests and paid special attention to my family's photo-needs. She kept us on time and we were able to spend plenty of time with our guests. I never felt in the dark at anytime before or after the wedding. Faith is amazing! She was so on top of it from our very first communication with her. We planned our small wedding from the West Coast and were nervous about vendor selections because we weren’t going to be able to meet in person with everyone before the actual wedding. I will say that after talking with Faith via FaceTime we had no worries about not meeting her in person before the wedding. She answered all of our questions and helped us think about things we hadn’t thought of! Day of wedding, Faith was everything we wanted! She quickly learned everyone’s names, made everyone feel comfortable and worked at a fast pace to get in all of the fun shots! We had a very cold and windy wedding day in July... it wasn’t “the plan” but Faith was quick to come up with great shots and ventured out into the elements with us. She’s adventurous, creative, high energy, and great with family dynamics.

If your favorite person in the whole world had a baby with your best friend, Faith Dugan would be the result. From day one Faith was over-the-top professional, organized, warm, and excited. My husband and I searched for a while trying to find a photographer. Of all the to-do items on our wedding list, finding someone to capture the day was number one. It was important to us that we keep the day light and fun. We wanted few posed pictures but more importantly, to spend as much time with guests and capture those candid moments. Somehow, Faith managed to juggle both with a smile on her face the entire time. She even took the time to ensure that any family must-haves or must-not-haves :) were taken care of while we sat back and enjoyed ourselves. I'd also like to mention that I wanted to write a review BEFORE seeing the images (yes, she's that good). However, Faith insisted that I wait to make sure the photos were perfect. After reviewing the pictures, I only have one complaint...there are too many beautiful shots to choose from :) :) :) If you're deciding on a photographer for your wedding day, stop the search and call Faith. The minute my wife and I met Faith we knew right away that we wanted her for are wedding. She went above and beyond and did a amazing job. Recently, in a move. We lost are picture CD. I gave Faith a call to see if she had a copy. To find out, Faith had everything on file and sent the pictures to me the same day. I would definitely recommend her for any Photography needs.

She was able to truly capture the full emotion, feeling, sentiment of the day, and captured many special moments that I would never have seen otherwise. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and organization is one of a kind and I am truly honored to work with her. I am beyond pleased with HOW much she truly went above and beyond to make this day so perfect, to truly listen to what was important to us, and in getting to know my husband and I SO well. I seriously do not know if I could sum up how amazing Faith and her husband, Jefferson, are in just 3500 words. If you read just one review, please read ours. Just to start, Faith and Jefferson gave us their full focus and attention for FOURTEEN HOURS on our wedding day! From the moment we met her, we knew she was the one. She sat with us for over two hours, showing us pictures and explaining her technique. We booked her on the spot. Her personality is beyond amazing! She is SO much fun and truly excited about every wedding she shoots and every photograph she takes. She takes the highest degree of pride in her work. Faith is also extremely organized and professional. Towards the end you complete a wedding worksheet, so you can be confident she will capture EVERY SINGLE PICTURE POSSIBLE. She works closely with other vendors to execute a seamless delivery of her services. Be sure, you can sit back, relax, and let Faith do her thing. Jefferson is also nothing short of amazing. He is a laugh a minute and constantly kept us calm throughout our wedding. He is a fabulous second shooter, always there to capture the shots that other photography groups miss. Our first actual shooting experience with Faith was for our engagement shoot. We had 3 different locations, and shot for over 3 hours. She reviewed our pinterest board--duplicating some common themes and then evolving our shoot based on the overall "feel" of the photos we were drawn towards. She also worked amazingly with our little dog! We received an amazing variety of beautiful pictures. It was so difficult to narrow the selection for our album. Faith's work speaks for itself. She has an incredible ability to take vivid images that are also romantic and emotional. Her angles are amazing, and she is great at positioning arms, posture, etc. You look your absolute best, and then some, in every photo she takes. Her pictures are a step above the rest. From bridal portraits, group formals, and romantic newlywed shots, she does it all. And they ALL come out equally as stunning. Her work is actually beyond words. When I first looked for a photographer, I researched through Instagram and Pinterest. Nearly every picture I was drawn to, Faith took. But truthfully, the beauty in Faith does not stop at her pictures. She was always around to answer my numerous questions and spent a TON of time working with me. On our wedding day, she fixed my husband's boutonniere, applied double-sided tape to my straps, cut a piece of tulle from my dress , passed out drinks on our trolley, cleared dishes from our place settings, and the list really does not stop. She pushed us to capture the pictures she knew we wanted, but knew when to give us a break. She dealt with me effortlessly when I got anxious, conquered my train, wrangled our large wedding party and revamped our schedule due to the bright sun. She whisked us away only a handful of times during the reception, and SO quickly that not even we noticed we were gone! We just received a few "sneak peaks." Its an understatement to say we cannot wait for the rest. Faith even sent me an extra to calm my nerves about my hair's inability to hold a curl. My highest recommendation. She is simply the best. We had the time of our lives. We are sad the wedding is over, but even sadder that we don't get to have Faith and Jefferson there anymore to capture all of the love and happiness that our marriage has already brought!

I can not begin to say how awesome Faith really is. First of all - her work is absolutely gorgeous. From the first time I contacted Faith, she was extremely responsive and helpful - even when I wasn't asking questions about photography!!! Faith is extremely talented and passionate about what she does. I could see that in her photographs-- each photo made me swoon and I just knew I had to go with her for my wedding. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I made for the wedding! My husband was also very impressed that I found such an amazing photographer! The pictures that Faith took for our wedding came out absolutely incredible. We had a very long shot list, as well as large family group shots etc. Faith captured everything I wanted and more. She caught many moments of my guests that I missed, and am so happy it was caught on camera. I was worried about not knowing how to pose for the couple portraits, but once we were there, Faith & Jefferson made us feel so comfortable and they just took over telling us exactly what to do. They knew what they were doing because the pictures came out stunning! Besides her wonderful talent, she's a lovely person and so sweet. She really goes above and beyond for her brides. I didn't have a wedding planner, so she helped me out with recommending vendors and helping me plan out the timeline for the day. She has so much experience that she will tell you exactly what you need to hear. I didn't realize this when I was planning my wedding, but on the day, you spend a lot of time with your photographer, and I am so glad it was her. Not only did I enjoy her company, she was a very calming presence when things got stressful. It is hard to put words around just how amazing it was to have Faith and Jefferson photograph our wedding. I had been a fan of Faith Dugan Photography long before I was engaged. Being an amateur photographer who loves Newport, I originally found Faith's blog when looking to find neat spots in Newport to take nature shots. Fast forward to getting engaged, there was no question in my mind who I wanted to trust with photographing our engagement shoot and wedding. When we had our engagement shoot with Faith, we had an absolute blast. She has an infectious smile and personality that makes you feel like you have known her for years. By the time the wedding rolled around, I felt like I had a friend shooting my wedding, not a vendor. And the dynamic between Faith and Jefferson during the wedding was great. Faith and Jefferson were the perfect compliment to our perfect day they were there for most of the day, capturing little moments that may seem unimportant at that time but end up being perfect memories that will keep us laughing. The best aspect of the way they worked together was how organized they were. Being from New York and planning a wedding in Rhode Island was not an easy task. The search for the right vendors, particularly a photographer was difficult. Faith was recommended to me by a friend who got married in Newport a few years ago. From the moment we spoke on the phone I knew she was the perfect fit for us. She had so many good ideas and pointers for us, especially a suggestion on a place to rent to take pictures beforehand in case of rain (which came in handy because it POURED). Faith and Jefferson are so much more then just "the photographers". Their work speaks for itself so I'll tell you more about what its like to have them at your wedding. Faith carries a "little bag of tricks" and I somehow needed EVERYTHING in this said bag! A crochet hook for the 1,001 buttons on the back of my dress? (My sister forgot to pack this. She has a 2-year old so something small like that slipped her mind) Shoutwipes for the grass stains when my dad stepped on my dress? Faith had them and wiped each & every stain off my dress, making it pristine white again. Fashion tape for the bridesmaids AND groomsmen pants? Yep. She even had these handy-dandy little things called "veil weights", which literally saved the day when my veil was blowing all over the place and making me incredibly irritated. Faith snapped these pretty jeweled magnetic weights on my weight which magically kept it down during our photos & ceremony. My bridesmaids wore full length gowns with a hook & eye style bustle. The bustles all broke after the first hour of our wild dance party. Faith had oversized safety pins and created an on-the-fly french style bustle which stayed the entire night…better then the one that came with the dress! I can't tell you how wonderful it was to have her each and every step of the way. Jefferson pinned all the boutonnieres on our dads & groomsmen when the florist basically just dropped the flowers and ran. He also folded all the guys pocket squares and straighten bow ties all day long. My husband doesn't enjoy smiling for tons of photos (what guy does??) Jefferson was quick with a joke, kept the photo session fun & upbeat all while Faith moved through my many requested family combinations. Thank you Faith & Jefferson for all you have done for us and continue to do. Can't wait to design our album with you this winter!

My wife and I were married at Belle Mer in Newport this past July. The venue is amazing so we knew that we needed a talented photographer. As soon as we met Faith we knew she was the perfect fit for our wedding. Faith and Jefferson felt like part of the family during the day of our wedding and we had an absolute blast with them. Of all the vendors we picked, having the photographer was the most important to us. I immediately looked to other bride friends on facebook and scoured their wedding photos to see if anyone popped up. Our pre-wedding meetings and communication was great. I was so much less stressed because I knew my photographs would be in such good hands!
