The management of this venue invites you to make it your own for a truly special occasion.
Falling Waters Mountain Lodge is owned by Scott and Karen, who also offer to be the on-site caretakers during your stay. This friendly pair can set up fire pits or dinner tables or leave you be as you wish. On your wedding day, you can exchange your vows outside with a majestic backdrop of mountain, lake, and forest. Afterward, you and your loved ones can wander over to the newly renovated barn. These former stables have been transformed into a setting for a country-themed celebration. Tables handmade from barn wood and hay bale seats will add rustic charm to your festivities. With room to dine and dance, you’ll be set for an amazing event.
You can hold a religious or non-religious ceremony on these grounds, as well as a commitment ceremony. Falling Waters Mountain Lodge offers a firepit to enjoy s’mores around as well as on-site accommodations and get-ready rooms. The Lodge provides five bedrooms and five bathrooms to host guests.

First, the venue. Our wedding photos were incredible. We were in the countryside and surrounded by nature with a palette of colors across the trees, the lake, and the hills in the background. The pergola where we said our vows overlooking the lake was gorgeous and there was plenty of space to seat our guests.
The lodge was SUCH a cozy retreat during our stay. The bridal suite is the highlight! On the top floor, tons of light from all of the windows (really great for photos), a private bath & shower, separate walk-in closets, and amazing views of the countryside. There were plenty of rooms for our families and wedding party and you can't beat that rustic charm! There's a game room with a pool table and even a sauna and outdoor hot tub!
We're not from Georgia and don't live nearby so choosing vendors was probably the hardest part of the process for us. Karen and Scott's recommendations helped us tremendously! For example, we were originally going to go with another food vendor but decided to go with their local recommendation, The Pink Pig, and we're so glad we did! We wish we could go back and eat our wedding dinner again! The BBQ, the mac & cheese, the charcuterie... all incredible!
Our guests had a fantastic time and raved about the venue, scenery, and lodge. We still look back fondly at our wedding day and highly recommend Falling Waters Lodge for an unforgettable day and lasting memories.
