We had such a great time with Matt as our DJ for our wedding! It truly was a night won’t forget and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Matt was incredibly professional and helped us ensure our day was perfect. We weren’t sure about what songs to choose and quickly became overwhelmed on our own. It was great to have Matt so that we could share our ideas, and the music turned out to be great the entire night! We were seriously impressed by how the flow of our reception went. We thought our guests were not much of the dancing crowd but despite that, Matt found a way to get them going. Throughout the night there would be periods of dancing followed by speeches and dinner, and more dancing. Our guests loved that! It felt like atmosphere was always joyous and fun. We had many guests tell us “this DJ is great! There’s music for all generations to enjoy.” He blended all the songs we requested, and his ability to read the crowd was great. At the end of the night Matt had the idea to have our guests use their phone lights to light up the room as we all sang and danced. It was truly a magical moment. DJ Matt was great at my small wedding, he brought a lot of energy. He got the party going, everyone was on the floor. He played the songs we wanted, and had some good songs for the parents and others. He kept in contact before the wedding, going over the songs we wanted, making sure everything was how we wanted. Also the price can't be beat.

Mathew was great! He knows how to lead the crowd and also knows how to get the crowd dancing without allowing them to feel uncomfortable. His prices for each service are very much worth it. Even though the weather didn’t show up for us at our wedding, Matt @Famous Entertainment certainly did. He kept the sun shining inside and us on the dance floor the whole night- from ceremony to last one out the door. I cannot recommend another vendor more than this man and this company. Not only was he patient during my initial interview- with my 8 pages of questions- but his experience and professionalism throughout was incredible. His follow through and delivery was unmatched. Wedding business is crazy business, especially when the weather doesn’t cooperate - things are forgotten and left behind- things you wanted and planned for- But I can hands down say Famous Entertainment did everything exactly that we spoke about. If this company has a t-shirt to give me, I would happily wear it for free advertisement. Everyone deserves to have a person and company like THIS at THEIR party. He was Letter to the law on our planning and contract. My dad was very nervous about me selecting a DJ, and I’m pretty sure now he is going to ask to be Matt’s penpal. Matt was awesome at my daughter's Sweet 16! We used him last year as well, we could not wait to have him for our daughter's party. Top of line equipment sound and effects, makes for a stellar look in any room. He worked the party and got everyone up and moving all night. I wouldn't use anyone else and have recommended him to many family and friends.

Matt was very professional and takes pride in his work. Matt gave us planning forms to fill out before the wedding to make sure he plays all the music that we wanted to hear. Matt was incredibly good. he came prepared for the venue. was there an hour earlier. He played exactly the music that we wanted. all of my friends and family were dancing a lot and having a lot of fun. The vibes were exactly how we asked. Chill at the beginning and party by the end. I am originally from Spain and my husband was born and raced in amercia. he was able to mix both music cultures into the party. I would totally recommend matt for any party. he knows what he is doing.

Matt was a phenomenal DJ at our recent wedding. He is very friendly and personable and can relate to all audiences - from kids to elders and can adjust the music played accordingly. We were really happy with the service . We rented a Photo Booth for my daughter’s quinceanera . The attendant was professional and friendly. The props selection was awesome for our guests. Prints were accommodated for the number of people in each take. The quality of the picture were great as well.

Matt and his team were absolutely amazing! As if Rona wasn’t enough - hurricane Elsa flooded my entire venue forcing us to relocate to another venue. Despite the minor setbacks Matt told me not to stress and that his only concern was to make sure my husband and I were happy. Thanks Matt for making our wedding a success.

The second we walked in to meet Matt, we knew he was the DJ for us. The DJ is there to bring life to your entire party, so obviously they are one of the most important vendors. Matt was one of those DJs you can tell LOVED his job, had GREAT energy, and thats the kind of guy we were looking for. He was incredibly flexible and available any time we had a question or an update to our song list. We had a few strange requests and were worried about what we were asking of him and he DELIVERED. We had a small wedding and were worried the dance floor would be empty, but Matt made sure this was not the case. He knew what to play and when to keep the party alive. Also, having a small wedding we were worried about over spending on vendors, but Matt's price point was EXACTLY where we wanted tit to be, and he was honestly one of the most affordable guys out there. We also booked a photographer through Famous Entertainment. We went with a package that had a photographer for the ceremony and reception. Rey was our photographer and went above and beyond to get all the right shots. He didn't keep us long from the party to get the list of photos we asked for, and half the time you barely realized he was there. We received our photos back VERY quickly and were amazed at the results. We didn't need to spend thousands of dollars on him, but the service was top tier. I couldn't recommend Famous Entertainment more. They really made our day special.

The Dance floor was packed from start to finish. Everything that was requested was done in a professional manner with a lot of class. Everyone had a great time and we received rave reviews from our guest.

I apologize in advance for the length of this review. But anyone committed to planning and executing a wonderful event should consider taking the time to read it - written by a Type A organizer who is beyond grateful for the AMAZING services provided by Famous Entertainment. So much so that I plan to hire them again next year :) (NOTE: this event was not a wedding, but they do a variety of event). Matt and Jenny of Famous Entertainment - the "Dynamic Duo" as I now call them - went above and beyond for our event. They were VERY accommodating, VERY professional, GREAT communicators and best of all - WONDERFUL entertainers! Here's the long version of a longer story ;) .... I'm on the Board of a Long Island non-profit with a membership of 120+ families. In preparing for our upcoming Holiday party & fundraising event (which we have been hosting annually for decades), I wanted to explore ways to take the event in a new direction, so I went to the Celebrate Showcase Party Expo at the Marriot in Melville. In a room full of vendors, I gravitated to Famous Entertainment because they had a great set-up with an energized and welcoming team of people who looked genuinely happy to be there and to connect with people (it also helped that they were not pushy). They not only took the time to speak with me (I spoke with Matt, Jenny and at least 2 other reps), but they also engaged my kids with the cool open-air photo-booth so that I could speak with them uninterrupted. They were all sweet and clear about what they could offer our event. Well, my kids adored them and so did I. Two days later I booked them for our event over the phone and I am so glad I did - hence this super long review. Considering our organization is a non-profit and the event was both a fundraiser and festive Holiday party for families residing throughout Long Island (from newborns to grandparents), Matt worked with our tighter-than-tight budget and made us an offer we couldn't refuse - "accommodating" is an understatement. We took the DJ & photo-booth package and it surpassed our expectations. The day of the event, Matt and Jenny showed up early, prepared, and ready to go. When Jenny saw that I was on a time crunch and running around to finish things up before attendees arrived, she jumped right in to help me with whatever we needed - talk about an angel sent from above! I cannot emphasize enough that this was a venue full of 60+ kids and their families , and EVERYONE - children, parents, grandparents - enjoyed themselves and left saying how much of a wonderful time they had! They kept a 3-hour long event full of kids going, without a single meltdown - that in itself speaks VOLUMES! From the music, to the entertaining activities (games, hoola-hoops, parachute, giveaways) to the photo-booth, Famous Entertainment made our event both a blast and a fundraising success! THANK YOU, THANK YOU Famous Entertainment!!! Matt and Jenny, if you are reading this - see you again next year ;) (I am leaving this review on other sites because these guys deserve a huge shout-out for their amazing services & generosity!)

Ive been planning my wedding ever since I was a little girl. So when the time came to actually make it real life I was on top of everything, I had everything booked including my DJ a year in advance. 5 weeks before my big day I was slammed with the news that my DJ, whom was paid in full and came SO highly recommended through all the wedding sites, went out of business. Devestated yes. Stressed DEFINITELY. A co-worker told me about Famous Entertainment as she recently attended an event they hosted. Desperate and full of hope I called. Well this was the best decision I ever made. I spoke with Matt the owner, who immediately assured me that it was going to be ok and he would make sure they treat my wedding with high priority...and he did! He perfected our playlist with ease, he made the reception room illuminate with his lighting and even brought a photo booth which was a real fun addition for our guests and photographer. Aside from all that, the unbelievable energy that Matt had and his ability to get all guest out on the dance floor was amazing!! As all brides know, our biggest fear is that no-one will dance at your wedding...lol Not with this guy. He even had my 87 yr old grandmother out on the floor. At the end of the night we learned that things truly do happen for a reason and we were so grateful to Matt and his staff at Famous Entertainment for taking us on and making my worst nightmare a dream come true! I highly recommend this company.

Matt is the most amazing DJ I have ever hired. When I first found him, I already had my other DJ back out on me. Thank god I did, Matt gave me an amazing price and did everything I wanted for my special day. He went above and beyond helping me with the whole wedding planning, not just the DJ part of it. When my photographer fell through 2 days before the wedding, Matt was right there to save the day...the photographer was Roy. He took breathtaking photos, exceeding my expectations. Best photographer I have encountered. Matt always answered his phone or text messages when I had a question or needed something very fast. He is very selfless and made everything about me, the bride, for my special day. Every event in the future I need a DJ for I will be using Matt.

My daughter's Sweet 16 was a big success and it all was due to the great entertainment. They had everyone dancing and everyone had such a great time. The lighting that they used made the room look beautiful. There was no need to worry they took care of everything. Since I work in the catering business I see a lot and this was by far the best entertainment that I have seen. We were all so pleased.

We booked Matthew of Famous Entertainment for our wedding, and he was absolutely amazing. Firstly, he was responsive throughout the time leading up to our wedding. He answered promptly to any and all of our inquiries; and made himself available over phone, text, and email. Secondly, he provided invaluable feedback during the planning phase - we outlined a rough itinerary of the sequence of events during the ceremony and reception, and he provided recommendations and revisions, based on his previous experiences, that we hadn't even considered. On the day of the event, he arrived at the very earliest time that we (bride and groom, guests, vendors) were allowed to be at the venue. He was already set up, dressed, and ready to review itinerary with the groom and venue's maître d' before the bride was dressed and made up. We asked a very close family friend to be our Master of Ceremonies for the evening; and so, our MC was a bit of a neophyte (but very charmingly so). Matthew stepped up in a huge way here, coaching him through the night, offering tips and pointers, and filling in at spots where the MC felt uncomfortable leading the party. And he was an outstanding fill in MC during those spots - he was vibrant on the microphone, he led the crowd during room dances - in short, Matthew made sure our event stayed lively and high energy throughout. And all throughout the reception, he coordinated seamlessly with the venue's maître d'; both of them did an outstanding job accommodating last minute adjustments to the reception itinerary, and I wanted to highlight Matthew's contribution here - between the two of them, the music, events, and food all flowed smoothly through the night. Finally. His equipment worked perfectly - sound quality was crisp and filled the entire room, lights added great mood and ambiance. Matthew's music collection was exhaustive, accommodating all the songs we wanted throughout the night; and his music selection was well curated, encompassing several decades of musical eras and genres that brought elder and younger guests on the dance floor. In short, we would gladly book Matthew again; and we would absolutely recommend him.
