She was a pleasure to work with, was able to get everything we wanted, and truly helped our vision come to life. Nancy’s organization and clear communication truly make her an ideal florist to work with. Wedding planning is stressful enough and having a vendor who is capable and knowledgeable is a must—that’s what Nancy delivers! Huge thank you to her team as well, they all helped tremendously and made the day go by flawlessly. We couldn’t be happier with her service!

Not only were the flowers absolutely stunning and beyond anything I could have dreamed of, but Nancy herself was such a joy to work with. Her professionalism, excellent communication, and genuine kindness made the entire process seamless and stress-free. She listened closely to my vision, offered guidance when I needed it, and went above and beyond to bring every detail to life.

g flowers for us, elevating our somewhat vague ideas for seasonal spring flowers beyond anything we could have imagined. Every floral arrangement—from the boutonnières, bouquets, and flower crowns for the wedding party, to the ceremony and reception pieces—was absolutely stunning yet personal, and it created such a beautiful ambiance for our special day. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were, both during the wedding and even afterward. Nancy was also able to design the arrangements so guests could take them home as favors, which was very important to us. Our venue and wedding coordinator had not worked with Nancy before but were just as impressed, and mentioned they planned to add Nancy to their recommended vendor lists in the future. If you’re looking for breathtaking floral design and a warm, reliable team to bring it to life, look no further. Nancy’s flowers helped make our wedding day feel truly magical!

rough in our initial call and provided a very detailed proposal shortly after we hung up! She is so knowledgeable on floral and was able to provide a ton of recommendations on flowers that would complement each other. She is also an absolute saint dealing with my indecisiveness and vision change midway through planning.
On the morning of the wedding, she sent a video of my bouquet, which was even more beautiful than I had imagined. It was so thoughtful for her to do this, and made me ever more excited for the day. The arrangements exceeded all expectations and has received countless compliments from our friends and family.
Nancy’s dedication didn’t stop there. She stayed for the room flip and handled pick-up at the end of the night with grace and efficiency. We cannot recommend Nancy enough—she is truly the best in the business. We are thrilled that she was able to bring our floral vision to life so perfectly. 12/10 recommend!

. Nancy’s eye for detail is that of an artist. Give her a pallet and she’ll paint the picture of every girls dream wedding with the most vibrant bouquets and floral arrangements. Unbelievably talented, Nancy picks the most beautiful blooms and arranges them in to that of a masterpiece.

cy set up zoom calls with us to make sure everything was communicated and planned perfectly. She is so detail oriented and even created a vision board during the planning process to make sure our visions matched! I wanted florals that were simple, elegant, and classic and Nancy created just that. Nancy delivered our flowers to the church and decorated the venue so beautifully the day of our wedding, and everything looked PERFECT when we arrived! She sent me a video prior to our wedding day to make sure we knew how to easily and safely transfer flowers that we planned to take from our ceremony to our reception. Nancy’s work is so beautiful and she is so kind and easy to work with! We loved looking at her Instagram page, @fancyfloralsbynancy, for inspiration and to look at all of her past work. If you’re looking for a florist in Illinois, we highly recommend Fancy Florals by Nancy to make all of your wedding floral dreams come to life!

hard to help make my vision become a reality. As a bride who "wasn't sure exactly what she wanted", Nancy did an amazing job guiding me to decisions about floral arrangements and table decor all while being very realistic about my budget. Leading up to the wedding, Nancy was very accomodating with my timeline for picking up decorations and set up at the venues. On the morning of the wedding , while setting up the table arrangements, Nancy stopped her work to come next door to where I (the bride) was getting ready so that she could instruct me on how to properly hold my bouquet for pictures and during the ceremony. She thinks about ALL details! So....the moral of the story is...if you are trying to choose a florist, stop thinking and GO WITH FANCY FLORALS BY NANCY!
Nancy is by far the best florist I have seen! She does her work with passion and care. Everything is in the details. Do not hesitate to book Fancy Nancy for your big day :)

he was flexible and quick to adapt to Covid restrictions, and she used her artistic vision to help us with some details that go beyond the scope of a florist (e.g., helping with the floor plan the reception space).
