I had worked with Fancy Plants as a wedding professional, so when it came time for my own wedding, I knew I had to go with Karen! As an out-of-town bride, having to communicate remotely was integral to the process. Karen was a joy to work with and she dealt with all of my crazy ideas and inspiration from the bouquets to the tablescapes to the ceremony altar pieces. She was incredibly consultative when I asked her to be, yet showcased her expertise and passion for florals when I had run out of ideas. She was very upfront about her pricing and how much every individual item cost so I was always aware. My ceremony space was flipped into the reception space during cocktail hour, so I hired her team to step in and oversee the process. I had set all of my centerpieces on the tables in the other room first, then she went in and added floral and greenery to the (very specific) instructions I had left her. I got to do a final walkthrough of the room before my guests were invited in and I was absolutely blown away by how everything came together. Karen is very involved in the Omaha wedding community and continues to learn and stay on top of trends. Above all this, she's a genuine gem of a human being. You won't go wrong with working with her for your wedding (or any other occasion)!

Karen is a master at what she does! I had high expectations for my flowers for the ceremony and reception and she definitely delivered! She also provided florals for a small intimate ceremony earlier in the week prior to our big ceremony. They were two totally different vibes and I was so happy that I could have both visions of my wedding come alive! On the day of, we moved the ceremony inside and this through a huge wrench it her plans. However, Karen and her team were able to still have an amazing backdrop for our ceremony. You will not be disappointed in hiring Karen! She was a dream to work with and I wish I could redo my wedding just to work with her again!

Karen was extremely helpful in guiding me in floral decisions! In our initial meeting I had a broad vision, and she worked wonders in 45 minutes to nail down the exact florals we would be using with budget in mind from the start. We had some additional add ons two months out and she didn’t even sweat it! Our day came and I walked in blown away! I found Fancy Plants Flowers and Design through a friend who had used her for her own wedding. She had said that she did a great job and was wonderful to work with. After looking at some of the flowers from my friend's wedding I was sold. The planning process was so easy, we had a couple meeting before the wedding and she handled it all. I brought inspiration photos to our first meeting & she got right to work. I don't know anything about flowers, so she handled getting the right flowers that would work with the heat in June. She helped swap flowers that were out of season for flowers that would look beautiful on our day. In addition to the flowers, she helped me pick out decor for ceremony and reception that would go with the vision I was going for. Anytime I had a question she would respond to my email within 24 hours and answer phone calls when I called. The best part about using FPFD was that when I moved before the wedding she was able to do zoom meetings & handled everything even though I was 2 hours away. Flowers were the the main decor piece for my wedding, so I wanted them big, full, and beautiful. She nailed it and helped make my vision real.

Karen was outstanding! We asked her to create a floral arch with a floating effect. I only showed her 2 or 3 pictures and she absolutely nailed it. She didn't have an existing structure, so she built it from scratch, on site. It was truly stunning. She was so lovely to work with, worth every penny. We got high end blooms and her price was extremely reasonable. Do not hesitate to book her - she is a gem!

I found Fancy Plants Flowers and Design through our wedding planner and I could not have asked for a better experience! The planning process was so easy, professional, and fun. Karen is so responsive and answered every question I had. She listened to all of my ideas and made the wedding florals of my dreams a reality! She exceeded my expectations in every way and made me feel as though my wedding flowers were her only priority (even though she has plenty of weddings all season long). Karen literally worked magic! I think I wanted a pretty simple flower selection - all white and greenery only. Since I was engaged and got married mid-pandemic, I never met in person with Karen once. She knew exactly what I want, was able to give me suggestions, and delivered exactly what I had envisioned. She took my Pinterest screen shots and made it happen. Fancy Plants was so affordable as well. There is limited inventory, so you cannot get all your table decor from Fancy Plants, but she has vases and was able to suggest some rental companies for candles/extra vases. Worked out perfectly and was on budget! Forever will recommend Fancy Plants!

Karen did the floral arrangements for my wedding and she did an amazing job! She is great at listening to your ideas and suggesting different flowers to use to create what you've envisioned. Karen was really easy to work with and always responded quickly to questions that I had. On the day of our wedding, all of our flowers were at the venue and completely set up before we arrived. We didn't know exactly what we wanted going into our first meeting with her, but she definitely steered us in the right direction and showed us photos of her previous work, as well as the fresh flower options that would be available to us in August. We met a couple more times to make sure that we were always on the same page & she was always responsive to emails/questions within a day or two. On our wedding day, she did an excellent job of setting up our flowers at the ceremony and reception locations just how we had planned and she delivered all of the wedding party bouquets and boutonnieres to the church and helped us get organized. I felt confident that I could count on her without any stress, which was such a great feeling. I would truly recommend Karen to anyone and everyone, she is amazing at what she does & we are so grateful for her contributions to our big day!

I cannot say enough about Fancy Plants and Karen. I first heard about her because my daughter-in-law used Karen for her and my son's wedding. The flowers for the wedding were beautiful and my daughter- in- law raved about the attention Karen gave her. I was so thankful she found Karen and I was able to experience first hand the attention she would give to my daughter's wedding five months later. We began by asking for quotes from Karen as well as a few other vendors. It was clear early on that no one was going to match Karen in her attention to detail. Other vendors sent a form for us to fill out. Karen asked to meet with us and discuss the vision. Karen showed us pictures of flowers and was so knowledgable in what would look good at that time of the year. She also guided us toward some budget friendly options that would look just as lovely but would allow us to have everything we wanted. A few months before the wedding, my daughter changed her mind about the the wedding colors. She emailed Karen and Karen immediately wrote back that we should meet again. She was so helpful and not at all bothered by the change. She made my daughter feel at ease with her decisions and confidant that she was choosing wisely. Shortly before the wedding, Karen asked to meet with us again to make sure we had all the details covered. She wanted to make sure we felt comfortable with everything. The day of the wedding the flowers exceeded our expectations. What we had ordered for table decorations they had decided to use for the ceremony first and then transfer to the tables for dinner. Genius! Overall, I felt like we were working with a good friend. She had our best interest at heart and was willing to do whatever necessary to make the day perfect!

Karen recently did the floral for my wedding in September. She did the bouquets as well as the greenery and centerpieces for the venue. Everything looked so good! While planning, she was so easy to work with and was very responsive. I changed my mind on a few things and she was very flexible with it. I had a specific budget I wanted to stay under and she was able to help me come up with a plan to stick to it, and we even ended up being below budget which was a huge plus! I highly recommend Karen!!

Karen, is great. She really takes the time to get to know the bride and groom to be able to give them exactly what they want. My husband and I wanted a big arch that was already on a cement arch and she made it look so beautiful and perfect. if there is something you want but it wont work out she gives other ideas to make it just a beautiful. I will defiantly use her again in the future. She wants it perfect as if you were family.

Karen went above and beyond my expectations. 3 months before my wedding I was out a florist and I contacted Karen. I was in Omaha for the weekend from Texas for wedding planning and only had a small time to meet with her before my flight. Karen rearranged her schedule and met with my mom and I. She was extremely professional from beginning to the end. I changed my flowers from the first meeting that I had with her and she was quick to provide me costs and open to any changes that I wanted. I wanted white peonies in my bouquets and for my bridesmaids and she was able to get beautiful peonies that were large and fresh. We confirmed flowers and costs before she had to place the final order to be sure I had everything I wanted. Karen was a joy to work with, she was very reliable and communicated extremely well. I only met with her once in person for our initial visit everything else was done through email since I planned my wedding from Dallas. Communication was easy and not stressful. She assured me my flowers would look like what I wanted, confirmed all pricing to meet my budget and delivered beyond my expectations. She even suggested ways I could save money and did not pressure me to increase my budget. She did an amazing job and if you use her you will be happy!!

Karen was amazing to work with! My flowers turned out beautiful! My bouquet would have been very expensive but she traded out similar flowers that cost less so that it would be in my price range and it still turned out so beautiful!! My guests also kept telling me how pretty all of the flowers were. I highly recommend Karen for your floral needs!

All I can say is Karen really did an amazing job creating my dream bouquet. She took my ideas and really ran with them and created such a beautiful bouquet and boutonnieres. I only had 1 week until the wedding and she was so willing to help me even with such short notice. She didn't rush, and she really works with your budget.
