He was 1000% invested from the beginning to the end and made my husband, and I’s reception so much fun and unforgettable! I met with Phil several times leading up to my wedding to go over the plan for the reception as far as music list, first dance song, father/mother dance, garter, bouquet toss songs etc. Phil also crafted a wedding timeline that made the night run smoothly and according to plan. Phil was organized and on top of everything, very organized, patient, and wonderful to work with through this whole wedding process. He also made a few suggestions that made my wedding reception so much better, and I am very grateful for it. He was also very engaged with the guests at my wedding, the entire dance floor was packed, it was just a perfect night with so much fun and dancing, thanks to Phil!

Phil was great to work with! He helped us set up how the night would flow and helped ease our anxiety about the night. He helped us curate certain things to calm those nerves and worked with us on specific things we wanted to be sure to include. He made sure everything flowed perfectly and eased each event into the next for the night. He also helped to pump everyone up for the reception and dancing and for our grand entrance! He helped make our wedding the absolutely perfect day it was.

We got married back in December and the music was the highlight of the wedding! Phil was so organized and helped us so much with the music. During the wedding he was attentive and went above and beyond what I thought a wedding DJ would do! He set the mood for the whole party and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to

All of our wedding guests were raving about the music days and weeks after our celebration was already over, and we love how Phil truly incorporates what you as the bride and groom want to hear on your day, and then adds his own flair in to make sure the party keeps going all night long. Hands down, the BEST DJ you could ever hire for your wedding! Phil is incredibly professional and easy to work with. The process from inquiry to day of our event was seamless. It was apparent from the start that he was the guy to work once we told each of our vendors who we hired - his reputation precedes him. Our only fear as a couple for our wedding day was that people wouldn't get up and dance, and boy, Phil delivered on his promise that our guests would have a fabulous time. His playlist was truly curated to perfection, he knows how to read the crowd, and knows how to keep the party going! I swear the only time the dance floor remotely cleared was when it was last call for alcohol (and our bar bill was less than anticipated because people were just having a great time on their own!). Our friends and family continue to talk about how "that DJ was the GOAT" - we completely agree :)

We are so thankful we originally attended a bridal expo and met Phil. When we saw how he meticulously timed the gorgeous sparkling fountains with the music as the models walked down the runaway, we knew that would be such a memorable element to add to our reception. Turns out it was our favorite purchase for our wedding! Our venue had an included DJ or else we would have hired Phil as our DJ. He is very personable, kind, and professional. We weren’t sure how the sparklers coordinate with our music since we had an in-house DJ, but Phil absolutely nailed it. We had a surprise mash up dance and we were so impressed how Phil aligned the sparkling fountains with the music so concisely. We are also so thankful Phil was flexible and accommodating through tough times of postponing. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how surprised and amazed they were by the sparkling fountain coordination. Besides enjoying the sparkling fountains in person, they really livened up our photos and wedding video. We would highly recommend Fantastic Five Entertainment to really take your party to the next level!

Working with Phil from Fantastic Five Entertainment was a stress free, fun experience! He made our wedding day a one to remember and was so detail oriented, never missing a beat (pun intended)! I was incredibly detailed about the songs I wanted played during the ceremony down to the minute/seconds and Phil executed it absolutely perfectly - it was a dream! Phil continually went above and beyond to make sure our day was absolutely perfect. I loved working with him because he was so on top of everything, reliable, always on time and responded very quickly and always willing to chat over the phone. On top of everything, we had to reschedule our wedding twice due to covid and he was incredibly accommodating going above and beyond to make our experience memorable despite multiple hiccups with covid! Phil was very professional and took care of the sound and also was very helpful with coordinating with the venue and photographer to help us decide the schedule of events get the best moments captured by the photographer.

Music and dancing were top priorities for our wedding. Phil did an incredible job playing our favorite music throughout the reception and keeping everyone on the dance floor for our 4.5-hour dance party. From our initial meeting until after the last song at our wedding, Phil was very professional and considerate of our wishes. He made sure to familiarize himself with how we envisioned our celebration and offered thoughtful suggestions to make it even better. He carefully reviewed our timeline because Phil is not only a DJ, he also keeps the reception moving by directing guests where they need to go, announcing toasts and dances. When it came time to party, Phil had everyone on the dance floor by reading the crowd and seamlessly mixing the greatest dance songs. We had an absolute blast and multiple guests raved about the music, saying it was the most fun they've had dancing. At the end of the night, Phil asked if we had a final song request. We had a hard time thinking of one because all of our favorite songs were already played! Also, make sure to look at the different packages offered by Fantastic Five. Our package included set-up in three different locations, including sound for the ceremony, which was perfect for our venue with separate areas for ceremony/cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. The uplighting was also great for photos and made the dancing room really feel like a party. Overall, Phil and Fantastic Five are amazing! Phil is truly an expert DJ and takes his job seriously while prioritizing your fun and happiness.

I cannot put into words how incredible Phil Montes is. He exceeded any expectations I had of what a DJ is or what a DJ does. He took such pride in our entire event - ceremony, reception and after party. I had complete confidence that what Phil said he would do, would be done and done right. He did not disappoint. We couldn't be happier about having Phil as our DJ. We were actually told from multiple venues that he was the one to try to get first! It actually made our decision super simple when we had our first meeting with him. Phil was professional, easy to talk to and helped us throughout the process of planning our wedding. We loved how he would come to some of our venue meetings to make sure that the venue's timeline and his were cohesive with each other so everyone was on the same page throughout the night. Plus, he has these sparkler black boxes that can be programmed throughout the night- do it, people! The best extra we could add!

When I first talked with Phil, I thought he was so nice and I could not wait to meet him! He is such a genuine and sweet guy, who is there to help make your wedding day better. We had 3 meetings before the wedding so we could finalize songs, ideas, and any other details. He was so accommodating and fun to meet and plan with! We had such a good time coming up with all of the shenanigans, and he helped give me ideas that I had never even thought of! On the day of the wedding Phil did SUCH A FANTASTIC JOBBBBB!!! The ceremony music was PERFECT! I had a secret switch to the music I walked down the aisle to and Phil executed it perfectly, it turned out even better than I had envisioned!!! During the reception, whenever Phil spoke, people listened. He has this soothing voice and it just gets people's attention when he speaks. And I am NOT kidding when I say the dance floor NEVER stopped - there was never that awkward moment where the dance floor was empty or slowing down. He kept a steady stream of fantastic music going all night long - for all ages that were at the wedding! Phil was the best choice for a DJ I ever could have found. We had so much fun planning for the wedding, and he helped the reception flow and kept us having a fantastic time! He is such a thoughtful, sweet, and caring guy in addition to being the greatest DJ!!!

Phil was the best! Everyone talked about the DJ after the wedding and how gray his set up was and the music selection! We went with the indoor fireworks and they were so worth it! Phil made sure everything was rolling and made sure to communicate with everyone he needed to! It was such a great experience working with Phil!

Phil is excellent! Our guests raved about how amazing the music was through our entire outdoor reception. He transitioned everything seamlessly from our casual dinnertime ambiance to upbeat dancing and then even had a second indoor setup inside for our afterparty without missing a beat. Weddings and planning for weddings come with hundreds of choices that need to be made, cake, flowers, venue, etc. After meeting with Phil, he was the easy choice for entertainment. My husband is from New Jersey and has attended countless weddings, sweet sixteens, bar mitzvahs, and has a number of friends that are DJs. Its basically a right of passage for an Italian Catholic from New Jersey to think he is an expert on what to expect from a DJ. He and I both agreed that Phil exceeded all expectations, from the very organized and meticulous way he helped us plan and execute our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music. To the way he structured meetings, his organization skills, attention to detail, and how much he helped settle my husbands nerves the day of our wedding. Phil knows how to read a room and create a fun lively vibe. Our reception was honestly so much fun and I attribute that to Phil. Phil is a class act with a great deal of experience and it really showed on his execution the day of our wedding. One of our wedding guests and close friends used to be a professional DJ in the Tucson area and was also really blown away with Phil and said he now has someone to refer people to. We would recommend Phil and Fantastic Five Entertainment without hesitation to anyone looking for a premium DJ at reasonable price point who brings a aura of confidence, industry knowledge, ease of working with, and who really runs a tight ship the day of the event.

Phil with Fantastic Five was exceptional! Communication with him was always easy. He's quick to reply and will be there for any vendor meetings or just general meetings. Punctual and professional. He showed up on our wedding day with ample time to set up. Kept schedule on the day of perfectly. Worked very well with our other vendors and venue coordinator. Kept the party going and continuously had people on the dance floor. I would recommend Fantastic Five everytime to anyone needing an excellent dj/emcee for their event!

From the beginning, Phil was great to work with. He coordinated and communicated well with our other vendors prior to the wedding day. He played all of our requests and many of our guests complimented the playlist. He even accommodated a special request with no warning from our best man for "fly eagles fly". The lighting was beautiful and his role in keeping our timeline rolling was incredibly helpful!

He helped us to put together a wedding day timeline, and was proactive in communicating with our entire vendor team to make sure that everything ran smoothly and on time. As the MC for our reception, he kept the evening on track announcing all of the events and checking in with us frequently. In addition to helping us plan and run the event, he did a great job as a DJ. He asked for our tastes in music and played music that we both enjoyed all night while keeping the dance floor going. During the times for dancing there was never a moment where our guests weren’t on the dance floor! Phil also provided some visual touches for our reception including uplighting and a large gobo monogram displayed on the wall. The reception hall looked fantastic thanks to these touches. Phil was involved in helping to plan our reception from the very beginning, and not only did he make the entire process easy, he made sure that every element turned out perfectly. Fantastic Five was the perfect choice for our wedding day, and we highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about Phil and Fantastic Five Entertainment! I was so worried about having a "cheesy" DJ who's commentary would make me cringe. However, after my first meeting with Phil all of my fears were immediately put to rest! Not only is he organized and professional, he is a genuine person who really cares about making sure that your event is carried out perfectly. The audio and timing for the ceremony were flawless and the light set up and ambiance was more than I could have imagined. And he had everyone on the dance floor for the entire reception. And while this may be a minute detail, it just goes to show you the character of Phil. In between the ceremony and reception while we were waiting to get our pictures taken, he came over to see if my husband and I needed anything and graciously brought us water. I could not be happier in choosing Fantastic Five Entertainment!

Fantastic Five is beyond Fantastic! Phil kept the party going all night and kept us smiling the entire time. There was no song that we asked him about that he couldn't find for us and play. We were married back in April, and John was our DJ. We had several phone calls with Phil and John to finalize details; they asked a lot of detailed questions to make sure every scenario was covered on our wedding day. We were both super pleased!

Phil was our DJ for our wedding in May. He impressed us from the first meeting because he took the time to meet us in person and figure out exactly the type of wedding we were hoping for. At the wedding, he would check in with us often enough to let us know how things were going, but not so often that it felt like we were being constantly interrupted. He did a great job of not only being the Master of Ceremony but tending to us as the bride and groom, making sure we had drinks and were fed. The music he played kept the dance floor full throughout the night. He did a wonderful job of making everything run smoothly without the feeling of being rigid in his structure. Phil definitely did a wonderful job of making our wedding feel like it was one of a kind.

We had John as our DJ on the day of the wedding, and we could not have received more complements on how well he did. Not only was our dance floor full the entire night, but John also did a great job of coordinating with us and our photographers to make sure that we got everything we wanted pictures of in before they had to leave, even when we were running a bit late because we were taking longer than expected to greet everyone. He made sure that he played all of the songs we wanted (and read the crowed well to add in songs that everyone loved), and he made sure not to play songs that we didn't want. While Phil was certainly very busy, he was also responsive and made sure that everything I wanted was there, even though I had a few last minute changes to equipment needed for guitarists. He also helped make sure that we had thought through every detail of the entire night so that we could just enjoy on the day of the wedding.

Phil was amazing. my husband and I had an amazing time largely due to our wonderful DJ, Phil. he played every song we requested just at the right times. he put a lot of time and effort in to helping us plan our special day. we loved the ambience that he created through the lighting and music. everything went so smoothly from the ceremony all the way through the end of the night. He kept the party going. he was professional and organized while also being kind, cam, and fun. we were so happy with our decision to choose fantastic five as one of our vendors. we had several people tell us how great they thought Phil was.

We were completely unsatisfied with our overall experience with this company. DJ John was our DJ, and he mumbled while giving the announcements on our time line. He definitely did not want to be there and his energy completely showed. Several of our guests also said our DJ was boring and they could not hear him. If you choose this company make sure you meet the DJ rather than trusting Phil that your DJ will be top notch. Additionally, Phil did not offer any resolution or apology, instead he ignored us. I would question his business morals.

Phil was AWESOME!! We would definitely refer him in a heartbeat. In our planning conversations he was extremely organized and immediately set us at ease. He made the night run so smoothly, checking in with us, even making sure we had food and drink. We had a very diverse wedding crowd (my family is Latino and the groom's family white midwesterners) and Phil managed to spin a great mix that got everyone dancing! We aren't ones to give glowing reviews easily, but there's no doubt that we went right in choosing Phil as our DJ for our very special day.

Phil and Kathleen were great to work with for our wedding. Both they and Adam, our personal day-of DJ, were really great when it came to organization, coordinating the night, and keeping everything lively and flowing smoothly. Unfortunately, my husband and I felt that when it came to the music at the reception (cocktail hour and dinner were great) he didn't really play any of the songs that we had requested on our form and that we felt would keep our friends dancing. It wasn't that the music was bad, it just wasn't quite our style which was a little disappointing after spending so much time to put a lot of detail into our requests. He also didn't even play our exit song so we just left to no music which wasn't really how I envisioned it lol other than that they were really on top of things which I was happy and relieved about.

Phil was fantastic! We wanted one our wedding reception to be more of a party. Our one request was to keep people dancing..he did just that! He played a little bit of everything and everyone loved it! He also kept the whole wedding running smoothly from start to finish. I would definitely recommend him.

Working with Fantastic Five Entertainment made it so easy for my husband and I to plan our wedding. Phil offered so many different things to make it exactly how we wanted. He played all the songs we wanted when we wanted, had perfect up-lighting (that matched our wedding colors!), and catered to all our needs; (timing of music, budget, wants, and was able to play music that fit what was happening during specific times of the reception like cake cutting, garter toss, and speeches). Fantastic Five provided more than just DJ services they really made our day unique, were very professional, friendly, and we had a perfect day and night.

Very good DJ. I didn't have time to really know what I wanted for my reception. But that didn't seem to bother fantastic Five. Phil(DJ) seemed to understand the stress I was going thru and made the date and event perfect and painless. Everyone raved about the lighting and music. He played what the crowd seemed to enjoy. He was extremely flexable- he even allowed kareoke at my wedding and I sang a special song for my new husband! He is very professional and very organized. Fantastic Five Entertainment was the first vendor we booked almost a year and a half before our wedding; and I am so glad we locked Phil in so early! The DJ really sets the tone for how your celebration is going to flow and how much fun your guests will have really. Phil did not disappoint. From the beginning of the cocktail hour to the last dance, our guests were engaged and completely entertained. Phil has a fantastic way of always working with you during the planning process. He never hesitated at any of the curve-balls we threw his way like asking for a medley to be mixed for our first dances or to keep a surprise performance a secret from my groom until the wedding day. Phil was always present for our planning meetings and always had a smile. He is so easy to work with. Some DJ's make an event all about them and how entertaining they are, but Phil made that day about us and entertained our guests through his music. I cannot think of a moment where I didn't see people on the dance floor. We can't thank Phil and Fantastic Five Entertainment enough for making our day so unforgettable!

Fantastic Five DJ did an outstanding job at our wedding renewal. Both Kathleen and Phil Montes are professional and great to work with. The quality sound and lighting provided by Fantastic really set the ambiance for our wedding not to mention, the DJ (Phil) worked with our every request and vision. Fantastic Five provides services for many venues around town and this is what helped decide the services were satisfactory. It was a little more than I wanted to pay for but it was worth the fun and entertainment provided. I would definitely recommend their services.

My husband and I ran into a last-minute DJ problem; we picked up Fantastic Five Entertainment with less than 2 weeks until the wedding. The DJ services were excellent, and Fantastic Five was even willing to allow my husband and his band to use their sound equipment to play a few songs. The only thing preventing me from giving this a full 5-star rating was that the DJ switched my name and my bridesmaid's name during an announcement, which he quickly corrected. To be fair, he and I never got the chance to meet before the wedding, so it's understandable (though perhaps not forgettable) that he messed up my name. Everything else was excellent and beyond reproach.
