Leslie was so easy to work with, and all of her products are top quality both in taste and in presentation. This, combined with her huge knowledge base, resulted in guiding us in providing, a still-talked-about dessert bar for our wedding. This was, by far the easiest (and delicious) process we underwent throughout our wedding planning process. She understood our guest's needs and our vision, and so our wedding cake and the adjoining dessert bar was everything we had hoped for and more. Our only regret was that everyone seemed to have such a huge sweet tooth that day, that we did have some guests a little disappointed that they didn't get to try everything.

We hired Fantasy Frostings to make the cake and all of our desserts for our recent wedding. We worked directly with Leslie and she was a saint: 1. She knew about how many desserts were needed for a dessert bar for our guest count 2. She knew our wedding venue, had created desserts for it before and knew that since it was outdoors, some of her desserts wouldn't hold up well and instead recommended ones that would 3. She was able to create an absolute masterpiece of a cake for myself and my bride on top of it all. We had 7 different dessert types at the dessert bar, plus our special cake for ourselves and by the end of the night everything was devoured because of how amazing it all was. Everyone loved everything! Would highly recommend Leslie and Fantasy Frostings for your event. She does SUCH a good job.

Fantasy Frostings rocked our wedding cake. After a tasting and an in depth conversation with Leslie, the owner, we had a delicious cake planned that came to perfect fruition the day of our wedding. It was beautiful and even better, it tasted amazing. A lot of brides don't get to eat much at their wedding. I ate three pieces of cake and could have had more. It was that good. All their flavors are fabulous, their prices are reasonable, and they can do anything your heart desires. I cannot wait to eat our top layer in a year. I have no doubt it will still be fabulous!

Leslie and team created the most perfect, simple yet chic, delicious cake for our wedding! She is hilarious and so bubbly and a great partner that kept it real with us on wedding cake designs and toppers - which I really appreciated it! They also rented us a cake stand that fit perfectly with our design. Thank you so much Leslie! We appreciate all your hard work!

These people live and breathe cake and it shows in just how ridiculously delicious their cakes are. There is such a huge difference between the cakes Fantasy Frosting makes and the cakes you get a bigger chain bakery. They use only the best ingredients and have flavor combinations that are truly out of this world. We ended up going with a three tier buttercream cake, with two layers of Strawberry Cream and two layers of Lemon Lavender. The cake was so delicious that we made sure that one of our big requests for our planner was that we got to keep all of the extra cake, which we ate at brunch the next day. Even the cake snobs came up to us at our wedding to tell us that our wedding cake was the best they’d ever had. I would order from them again for any occasion, and would highly recommend them for any wedding!!!!

Delicious cakes and beautiful artistry.Our guests loved our cake and got so many compliments. It was easy to communicate with Leslie and she made my vision come true. My cake was beautiful on the outside and yummy on the inside. Definitely recommend them and plan on ordering from them for future events to friends, family and everyone!

I used Fantasy Frostings twice throughout my wedding planning - once for the bridal shower and then again for the actual wedding. They did not disappoint for either event. I ordered cupcakes for both events - confetti, strawberry and creme brulee. I am not exaggerating when I say that Fantasy Frostings makes some of the best cupcakes I have ever had. I even had some of the vendors coming up to me at the wedding to ask where we ordered the cupcakes from. The owner, Leslie, will help guide you to the perfect dessert display or suggest a few desserts to accent the cake table. I will most certainly recommend them to family and friends as well as be using them again in the future!

Often wedding cake is dry and tasteless, not from Fantasy Frostings. Our cake featured five different flavors, one more delicious than the next. We wanted a very unique design, and they were able to make our dream a reality. The cake was one of a kind. The tasting experience was fun and yummy. Our budget unexpectedly changed mid contract due to me losing my job, and they worked with me to decrease the budget while keeping all of the things I loved. They are friendly, responsive, timely and look out for the bride. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I could not recommend Fantasy Frostings highly enough. I had extensively researched wedding cakes in the Los Angeles area, and Fantasy Frostings was the consensus amongst sweet-lovers connoisseurs. And boy was the consensus correct. To start, Fantasy Frostings includes a complementary cake tasting, which was so helpful. We ended up switching flavors between tiers because we could not narrow it down lower than 2 flavors. I brought in a photo of the cake I wanted, and they were able to replicate it exactly. It was gorgeous! Finally, I am grateful for how responsive and professional Fantasy Frostings was throughout the planning process. When we had more guests RSVP yes than expected, they were helpful in deciding to increase the cake by a tier. They were also helpful in delivering the cake on the wedding day and accounting for the 90 degree weather. And of course, it doesn’t hurt that the cake was absolutely delicious and people still mention it to me today when they see me.

Leslie was great to work with. We set up an appointment and met her at her bakery to taste cake and talk about what we were looking for. She told us that she is second generation local business, which was a plus for us. She was easy going and had great input and ideas for our cake. I did not have an exact vision for what we wanted, which could have made things difficult. Instead, Leslie was very patient and gave us great ideas and feedback. When I arrived to the wedding venue on my wedding day I was so distracted by everything that I had going on. I had no idea how seamlessly the vendors did their jobs, but my coordinator had everyone marching in the right direction. From my point of view, there were absolutely no issues with the delivery and setup of the cake. It looked beautiful! When we went to cut the cake it tasted great, and I was happy that we decided to go with Fantasy Frostings. One huge plus for us was that Leslie did not use fondant. This is not to say she does not, or will not, but we specifically did not want to use fondant. Some of the other bakeries insisted that it was their standard and I could not have a cake from them without it. We had a beautiful and amazing (and yummy cake) just the way we wanted from Fantasy Frostings!

Leslie was easy going and great to meet with in her yummy-smelling bakery in South Pasadena. My mom and I just loved every single flavor and dessert bar item we tasted, so choosing her to design and bake my wedding cake was easy, but narrowing down flavor selections was not- so many delicious choices! I picked a white almond cake with Bavarian cream and it was a huge hit; people kept commenting afterwards, “You know, I usually never eat more than a bite or two of wedding cakes but yours was so delicious I ate the whole piece! Where did you get it?!” Leslie also made a special gluten-free chocolate cake with fresh strawberries for us to cut and share because my groom can’t eat gluten (nor can my brother, a groomsman). It was wonderful for them to get to be included in the dessert celebration because they are often left out in situations like that. I thought the gluten-free chocolate was as delicious as the regular cake, and my mom already has ordered another one for my brother’s birthday. So, mouth-watering delicious flavor combinations and moist/ perfect/ delicate texture aside, I also wanted the cake to look pretty of course. Leslie and I discussed the option of a “wedding dress cake” which mirrored the style and design of the chosen wedding gown. I showed her photos of my dress and she briefly went over some ideas she had, and I trusted her to just go for it. All I can say is, WOW. It was stunning. I wasn’t quite sure how it would turn out, but when I walked in to peek at the reception room before the ceremony, after the dessert had been set up, I instantly teared up. It was my dress. As a cake. Exquisite. The most beautiful cake I have ever seen and I could not stop staring at it. The photographs of the cake and dress side by side are some of my very favorites from the whole day. I am pretty glad my groom and I were cutting into the smaller gluten-free cake, and having the servers cut and serve the official cake, because I don’t think there’s any way I personally could have taken a knife to that work of art!!! But I’m so glad they were able to because dang, was that the best cake I have ever experienced. Between a three-tiered cake and a large dessert bar, we figured we’d have lots of leftover desserts, but everyone went back for seconds (and thirds!) because it was all so scrumptious. I am already looking forward to ordering another cake for our anniversary, and we’ve only been married a few months! Thanks, Leslie!

Delicious cake. Leslie was amazing to work with and such a great personality. All the cake flavors were amazing but we chose the banana walnut (which had fresh bananas and bavarian crème) and lemon poppy seed (which had raspberry filling)layers for our wedding cake, which then had a gorgeous cascade of sugar flowers that perfectly matched the color of the wedding flowers. Although not a fan of fondant, we were sold after tasting Leslie's which is actually pretty good. And her buttercream is to die for. We also had a grooms cake, which was a surprise batman themed chocolate peanut butter cake as peanut butter is his favorite. It was absolutely perfect with a utility belt, gotham skyline, and she even placed cute batman and catwoman action figures I bought. The groom didn't see the cake until it was brought out right before our first dance. It was fantastic. We didn't even notice that our cake topper for the wedding cake broke before the reception; like a true professional Leslie had back-up sugar flowers and beautifully placed them on top of the cake. It probably looked better that way. Everyone raved about the cake flavors and that is was some of the best cake they have ever had; we had leftovers the next day and it was still moist. If you love tasting different and unique flavors go to Fantasy Frostings ASAP. And if you don't want to worry about having dry boring cake on your wedding day (we've all probably eaten more of the later at weddings) then book Fantasy Frostings! Leslie will work with your budget and make your dream cake come true.

The moment we met with Leslie, we liked her. Charming and no nonsense. And what a baker! At the time (our wedding was several years ago), they weren't yet based in South Pasadena near us, so she came to meet us with a wide selection of samples. We already knew what we wanted -- a square, three-tier triple chocolate cake -- but the delicious samples gave us pause. Particularly the fresh triple-berry. Each was the best of its kind we've had, and not just the best *wedding* cake. Fondant siding is usually flavorless, but Fantasy Frostings' is tastier than others. However, Leslie did ours up not with fondant, but with high quality solid chocolate siding in an attractive pattern, with chocolate curls at the base and atop each tier. It looked incredible, and was a huge hit at our wedding (at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles). Only downside was, we couldn't follow tradition and save the top tier. No way we were going to wait. Mmmm!

Fantasy Frostings is fabulous! I can’t rave enough about their cake and sweets bar items that they provided for my wedding on 6/22/13. We did one consultation/tasting before making all our selections and finalizing Leslie as our baker. We got a 4 tier round fondant covered cake that was amazing. We did different cake selections for each layer, but my favorite (and my personal selection) was the banana cake - Ahhhmazing!!! Our sweets bar was great too. My personal favorite was the cream puffs. I snuck a few mid-conversation at the wedding reception. Sadly, i didn’t get to try everything we had ordered on the wedding day, but I got nothing but glowing reviews from family and friends in attendance! I would definately use Fantasy Frostings again in the future for special cakes and desserts!

My husband and I got married in Pasadena and it was important to keep all of our vendors local to that area as well. We came across Fantasy Frostings online and went for a tasting which was AMAZING. Originally, we wanted to do a mini dessert table instead of a cake. But after tasting the cakes, we changed our minds and decided to lose the mini desserts and just do the wedding cake. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because on our wedding day there were a couple of snafus. First, we paid to rent a cake stand through Fantasy Frostings and through some sort of miscommunication it was not used. Second, and this is the big one, our cake flavor was not what we asked for. It was mostly disappointing to my husband because he was most excited about the cake, and we ended up with a fudge banana bottom. ...He hates bananas. HOWEVER, I brought both of these things to the owners attention and she had our refund for the cake stand sent to us very quickly and she has offered to treat us to a celebration cake in the future. I think that's really important to know that you will be working with a vendor that owns up to mistakes. Wedding vendors can be oh so sensitive about these types of things. Oh, and the cake looked very beautiful. And by no means did it taste bad, it just wasn't what we asked for. Still, we will likely go to Fantasy Frostings in the future for any of our special cake needs.

Fantasy Frostings is the most amazing bakery in the universe. It is a bold statement, but even then it is understated, by how wonderful and amazing they truly are in every way. Leslie and her team made the most amazing wedding cake and dessert bar for my unique and personal wedding. We had the most incredible sushi shaped, bridal white with fresh berries and cream wedding cake. Our dessert bar consisted of lemon raspberry shooters, peanut butter cake pops, white chip island blond bites, baseball shaped sugar cookies, chocolate marshmallow mini cakes and chocolate covered pretzels topped with a pecan then drizzled in white chocolate. We could not of been more happy with the beautiful display of sweets and desserts for our wedding. I would highly recommend Fantasy Frostings for any event. We were praised for the delicious desserts and amazing sushi cake. But more importantly we are looking forward to having Fantasy Frostings be a part of every celebration for our families and friends birthdays. We are really looking forward to our 1 year wedding anniversary, just to be able to have another slice.

We had the chocolate cake with toffee, gnash, bananas and walnuts and it was delicious! The only cake we had left was our top tier. We were told through the night that it was the best tasting cake they have ever had. Our cake was covered it butter cream, wrapped in ribbon and had Gerber Daises placed around the cake. Leslie is the sweetest person and she really knows how to recreate your vision. Very highly recommended!

My cake was exactly perfect! I drew an art deco themed cake for Leslie to match my huge wedding at Union Station in LA, and she made not only the best lemon on lemon cake ever, but the cake matched our decor perfectly! Not to mention, that for the quality of her work and ingredients, Leslie's cakes are significantly cheaper than the competition.

The cake was beautiful but, at the start of the reception it started falling apart!! I realize the venue had to put the cake onto the cake stand but, a cake should still not fall apart when it's over $800. Someone from the bakery came to fix it in the middle of the reception while guests were all there. They showed up to the fancy affair in cut off jean shorts, sneakers and a flannel shirt--just what I wanted in the middle of my expensive reception. No refund given because they accepted no responsibility since they said the venue placed the cake on the cake stand and not them. While I understand it's still disappointing--I had such high expectations for this place.

Not only was our cake beautiful, but it was the best wedding cake I have ever had! The Triple Berry was delicious. Also the cherry pie pops were a hit.

I brought a picture of a cake I found in a magazine and showed it to Lesile (owner and creator), she drew a picture and assured me the exact cake. It was perfect exactly the same colors, flowers and design that I dreamt of. In addition to the looks...the flavors are to die for! We had three different cake flavors-Triple Berry, Chocolate and Lemon Berry- because we couldn't decide between which flavor was the best. Guests raved about the wedding cake the next day.

We provided her with an image and the cake looked exactly like it. The cake tasted great. They only do a certain number of wedding cakes per day. Therefore, you know that your cake is a priority. They deliver the cake and set up the cake.;One problem was that we were given the option of having each layer being a different flavor. She never followed up with us after the initial meeting and 3 days before the wedding we realized we were stuck with what we had said we liked the first time we met with her - which was over 1 year before.

She had great idease and makes everything from scratch. Didn't have to use fondant to make the cake look smooth.
