Farren is AMAZING. She is down to earth and made us feel so comfortable during our engagement and wedding sessions. We are professional photography rookies and it was so helpful to have someone tell me where to look, where to place my hands, etc. Farren has an incredible eye for light. Our pictures turned out even better than I could have imagined (and I have pretty high standards!) -- now the hardest part is deciding which of the many of great ones belong on our walls!

Even before I got engaged, I knew I HAD to have Farren has my wedding photographer! Each time I ran across a stunning wedding photo on facebook or instagram, it was Farren that was behind the lens. Farren is so incredible at what she does. While there are a vast array of photography styles, Farren's photos stand out. Her work is impeccable and timeless and I know I will be happy with the memories she captured of our special day, not just over the next year or two, but for years and years to come. Not to mention, she is hilarious. I am a pretty quiet and shy person and not the best at "posing" but with Farren's guidance and personality, I always felt very comfortable in front of the lens.

Farren captured our day so perfectly! She worked her butt off all day and night and even gave us 100 professional pictures from our special day THE NEXT MORNING. Farren was so much fun and really felt like she was just a part of our crew for the day, my husband and I felt (maybe too) comfortable around her and were able to just comfortably enjoy our day without feeling awkward around a camera. We had originally booked Farren for a May wedding and had to reschedule due to Covid to a Thursday in December during the height of a variant; Farren was extremely flexible and we are so grateful she was able to adjust and commit to our wedding. We couldn't imagine it any other way!

Farren was absolutely amazing to work with on our wedding day. She was fun, professional, organized, helpful, and didn’t let anything throw her off! There was a terrible hail storm the night before my wedding, so the grounds were a mess until right before the wedding. Farren was creative in finding places for us to take pictures that were beautiful while not ruining all of our dresses/suits. She was also totally on board with some of our crazy requests. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. You will not be disappointed!

Farren is THE BEST! Absolutely my favorite vendor for my wedding. I cannot recommend her enough! Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, but she is the sweetest person! I cannot begin to express how lucky I feel to have had Farren as our photographer. I first heard about Faraday Photography from my cousin who works at a resort and Farren photographed a wedding there. We both started looking at her social media accounts and were absolutely blown away by her work. I was instantly attracted to her photos and unique perspectives. She is truly passionate about her photography and was able to always be at the right place at the right time for all of our special moments. One of the best decisions you can make for your wedding day is to hire Farren!!! To start, she ensures her couples feel comfortable in front of the camera and considers the couples' style/personality in her photo-shoots. When she shot our engagement photos, she captured our genuine love in front of the most beautiful sunset and even captured the playful outtakes of our dog running straight into the water before we had even taken our first photo. Farren made us feel so comfortable to just be ourselves; nothing felt too posed or unnatural, which is what we wanted. To say that she is the best wedding photographer is an understatement. She goes above and beyond for her brides and feels like such a close friend by your wedding day. Long story short, we had to alter our wedding date and plans three times (due to COVID-19 and a hurricane), but Farren was upfront with her availability and was flexible in traveling to our newest wedding location. Our wedding day simply would not have been the same without her. She showed up with the biggest hug and smile, was honest when my makeup needed touched up, and was detail orientated with the slighted things, such as a piece of hair out of place. She also emails you sneak peaks the day after your wedding so you can begin to reminisce about your perfect day. Her style is classic and natural and we absolutely cherish our photographs and our friendship with Farren! I simply cannot recommend her enough!

Farren is AMAZING! I’ve received roughly 50 sneak peeks in 24 hours!!! Not only that her work is beautiful, Farren herself is too! She listens and cares about the little details that means the most to you. She is always capturing priceless moments that are unforgettable. Real emotions. Real reactions. It would be hard to find someone as genuinely caring and invested in making sure that your day not only goes great–but is love captured in time. If I had 100 chances to chose a photographer, I would chose Farren 100 times.

Farren is literally the best! I am not a person that likes having my picture taken. So when I was choosing a photographer for my wedding, I was a nervous wreck. I liked Farren's style from the photos posted on her website and when I met her in person I realized that she is just as wonderful as the photos she takes. She made us feel so comfortable and caught little things like hair being out of place (things that would drive me crazy looking back at pictures later). She paid so much attention to detail and I really appreciate it. She also sent me over 80 sneak peek photos less than 24 hours after my wedding which I was amazed by. I can't say enough wonderful things about Farren. So I'll just say that if you are looking for the best photographer on the coast, book her.

After working with Farren there is no one else I would recommend to other brides!! My wedding was originally supposed to be in Riviera Maya Mexico and because of the pandemic our travel plans and dream wedding got canceled. My husband and I lost all hope when it came to our wedding but we pulled it together and worked everything out. I was scrolling through endless reviews of other photographers and when I came across Faraday I was speechless and I knew I needed to work with Farren! I let her in on what had been going on with our wedding and she was able to work with our timing and budget! By the way, we planned my wedding in Destin, Florida in 2 weeks. Farren made it easy to work with her and plan out my dream wedding! Farren and Alex arrived at the house around 3 pm and took the detail pictures (rings, bouquet, dress, etc.) and then they gathered the groomsmen together to get their shots done, and then they came and worked with me and my bridesmaids. We started to run a little behind schedule, but that was not a problem because Farren and Alex kept us moving and we didn't feel rushed at all! My family is also a little crazy and all over the place so when it came time for family pictures I was impressed by how they kept everyone in line and on time! We made it to the ceremony in time and I got every type of pictures taken that I could think of. Farren covered everything from family portraits, to bride portraits, groom portraits, and even the silly candids. I only have my sneak peek photos right now but I cannot stop looking at them I am so in love! Like I said before I can not describe enough how amazing Farren and Alex were and I will only work with them from now on! If you need a photographer Farren is your girl!

Five stars is just not enough to describe Farren and her second photographer, Jessie. Farren made the day feel calm even when we had unexpected road bumps. She rolled with the punches and still got pictures we loved. Jessie dealt with the groomsmen and deserves an award for patience and smiles even when they were a handful! Farren was so easy to book and plan with from the very beginning. She is incredibly personable, and so many people from my family and bridal party mentioned to me about how amazing she was. And when we got our sneak peak the next day, those comments doubled! I expected maybe 5 or 6 as a sneak peak and recieved 50 of the most amazing shots. We are so in love with how they turned out and cannot wait for the rest! I will be recommending her with full gusto to every engaged couple in the area!

Farren is the absolute best!! I stress about taking pictures and not being very photogenic and she made the whole process a breeze and my pictures are seriously amazing! Her personality is perfect, you never feel uncomfortable or stressed around her throughout the craziness of the day. It rained the day of my wedding and she brought all kinds of gear so that I could still get some pictures outside and the umbrella she brought ended up being so pretty! Honestly, we were all sad when she had to go. It felt like she was part of the fam!

From beginning to end, Farren was by far the easiest, most supportive vendor we worked with during our planning process. She addressed all of my pre-engagement shoot and wedding concerns with care and compassion and produced the most BEAUTIFUL final products for us. Very professional and easy to contact. Answered questions quickly and in a non-judgmental fashion. Very good at calming an anxious bride and directing a non-photogenic couple. The photos are BEAUTIFUL. Our venue is even using them for their Facebook page. She is hard working and so personable. Would use her again in a heartbeat to capture our special day!

Farren was one of the first decisions we made when selecting our wedding vendors and we are thrilled with the photos! She was happy to hop on the phone to chat through a few things before we ever signed on with her, and was very friendly and open to hearing our hopes for the big day. She had several different packages set up and even though we had already sent out save the dates, we selected the one which included engagement photos and we are so glad we did! These photos were the perfect opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera as well as get to know Farren before the wedding day. Plus she even drove to New Orleans which allowed us to take pictures around our neighborhood and with our dogs! These photos are so loved and were displayed at our wedding reception. Leading up to the wedding day she was very responsive to emails and set up a day-of-timeline which helped us understand how the day would flow. The day of, Farren was there early and ready to shoot! She captured all the details and every bit of action, but never felt as if she was interrupting the day. My only memories of her at the wedding were the posed photos - talk about a "stealthy" photographer who blended in with the party! (Farren, we hope you ate dinner, ha!) She had a generous amount of photos sent over as a sneak peek and we received an abundance of photos back in our full wedding album within 2-3 months, which we flip through weekly just to relive the memories. We can't thank you enough Farren!

Farren is an absolute dream to work with! She makes you feel comfortable as soon as you meet her and really takes the time to get to know you, and her pictures reflect that. She is super professional and really knows how to get the job done, whether it’s engagement pictures or the wedding day. Plus, she’s easy going and hilarious, so even though you’re taking more photos than you ever have in your life, it’s a fun time! My husband legit hates taking pictures on a normal day, and even he had nothing but great things to say about Farren and the resulting photos – we LOVE all of our engagement and wedding shots. So if you want beautiful photos and a photographer who makes the whole process easy and fun, Faraday is the way to go. 10/10 would recommend!

How do I say awesome in a 1000 different ways?! Farren was the right amount of elusive and the right amount aggressive in getting my perfect day on camera. You would hardly know she and her team were there while taking the candid moments. For the posed pictures, she helped me corral the family and wedding party in the midst of the chaos. Not only was her presence professional, her work and the outcome of my day was brilliantly and beautifully captured. She caught every moment I had hoped for. That is saying a lot, as I am the world's most awkward picture taker. You will not regret booking this outstanding photographer and her team. TRUST ME!

Faraday Photography was the best decision I could have made for my wedding photos. My husband and I both hate being photographed but Farren made us both feel so comfortable and made an awkward situation fun! Our wedding was in an old train depot so it was very dark. I was concerned about the lighting and possible grainy-ness of photos. Farren brought her own lighting, and edited the photos to perfection. The pictures made the venue look bright and beautiful. I don't think it's possible to put into words how AMAZING Farren is! My husband and I had a destination wedding in NOLA in December of 2017 and trying to plan and book all our vendors from Chicago was a bit stressful, especially the photographer because your wedding photos are such a big investment. Farren made us feel completely comfortable throughout the whole process, she was amazing at answering our million questions/ emails in a timely fashion and had great suggestions. She was even amazing dealing with my husband who is a photography nut and can be a bit opinionated about it sometimes! The day of the wedding, her and her second shooter were timely, professional and truly made us feel like we were with friends! We LOVE LOVE LOVED her style of shooting, she captured such beautiful, candid and real moments of love and fun throughout our entire day. I also loved that both her and her second shooter didn't overtake the wedding/ ceremony, we didn't even notice they were there most of the time. They never got in the way of us or our guests. Farren was our photographer for our Christmas elopement in New Orleans. This was a long distance transaction but Farren made it very easy and was always in contact with me to discuss our preferences. I found Farren by pure chance -- I saw this beautiful photograph online and looked for the photographer details. I emailed Farren the next day and she got back to me right away. I was looking for a photojournalism style, a little more edgy, heavy on candids, and relaxed/natural. This is exactly what Farren was able to capture and there is not a moment missing from the day. Farren is an uber-professional and manages to work with you on your day without being overbearing or in-your-face, like a lot of photographers. She is discreet while each shot is carefully considered and curated.

Faraday Photography is absolutely the best wedding photographer! I knew after speaking with Farren and seeing some of her work, that she was THE photographer for my son and daughter in law's wedding and reception. We were 100% correct. We are already over the moon with our sneak peek! I love wedding pictures but, in my opinion, sometimes there is so much time taken away taking so many posed family pics and not enough "captured moments." Also, the bride and groom miss so much of their reception. We did not want that. Let me say, she will absolutely take any and all family or special requests pictures. I could not have asked for a better photographer! Tensions tend to run high when my entire family gets together, but Farren kept things light and fun with her laid back personality. The pictures were exactly what I hoped for and the happy memories were an added bonus.

My husband and I booked Faraday Photography for our May wedding in New Orleans because we loved her style and the fact that she had already shot two weddings at our venue. We had no doubt that we would be happy with the photographs, but could not have anticipated how incredible Farren would be. On the day of the wedding, Farren not only worked again to make sure that we were at ease, but she also was vital in helping us through the timeline of our wedding day. While my bridesmaids and I were getting ready, Farren knew when to step in and direct perfectly staged shots and when give us moments to chat and relax. She used these moments to capture beautiful, organic moments with my bridesmaids and me. During the ceremony she was unobtrusive, but captured all of the moments we could have asked for and more. The list we created with her for family and wedding party portraits allowed us to breeze through the photographs after the ceremony. The portraits were timed so perfectly that we were even able to squeeze in our first dance before it started pouring rain on our mostly outdoor reception. Not only did Farren kept us on track throughout the night, but she also perfectly captured the joy and love of our wedding. All of our friends and family have been raving about the final product. If you are on the fence about hiring Farren, don't be! We had a small wedding (17 guests) with the ceremony at the Algiers courthouse, and a dinner in the French Quarter. She did a wonderful job capturing all the different moments of our day, and we couldn't be more thrilled with all the pictures we now have. Extremely professional, responsive and fast (she got our pictures to us within 2 weeks!), Farren was also a pleasure to work with and she helped make our wedding less stressful and more fun. Flexible, adventurous, and with a knack for thinking on her feet and knowing how to get the best shot no matter what the situation, we particularly appreciated the fact that Farren so obviously was having fun taking pictures of our wedding (our guests still remember her and comment on how much fun she was to be around). Moreover, her ideas for great shots were spot-on. In addition to an excellent array of candid pictures, several of her suggestions for posed shots turned out being some of our favorites.
