r. Taylor (event director) is truly exceptional! She really took the time to understand our vision and help it come to life. Even when my emails started to look like novels, she always answered each question and would schedule a meeting to talk through every last detail. Taylor has incredible connections with her preferred vendors- from morning yoga to the band that kept us dancing all night long, she helped us find the perfect team. It made planning a wedding from out of state a breeze! The entire FRE team is world class and exceeded expectations we never knew we had! When the rain showed up in the forecast the team pivoted to make sure every detail of our back up plans was ready in case we needed it. The landscaping team really made the property sparkle the day our guests were arriving- everyone fell in love with the property. Our guests still rave about the food and can’t wait to come back and visit to try more items! Every plate looked like it was fresh off a magazine page. The ingredients were always fresh and perfectly paired! The meal service was efficient and seamless- they took care of all allergies and made sure each guest was well cared for. I was truly in awe of the reservation team, I never received a single question from our guests about rooms- every detail was handled. They even took care of helping guests find alternative arrangements so they could bring their dogs along for the weekend. You know a team is amazing when you never hear a single question. We loved all the messages we got when everyone arrived truly impressed with their rooms! To the FRE team, thank you for everything you did to make our dream weekend come true. You all went above and beyond and we are so grateful. We can’t wait to come visit to celebrate anniversaries and special moments. No one does it better than FRE!

All of these things could be easily found out by a quick visit to the property or a simple browse on their website. These factors, among others, are why we chose Farm Road Estate for our winter 2025 wedding. Why we would choose Farm Road Estate over and over again is for their exceptional staff and their Events Coordinator, Taylor. Farm Road Estate only holds a select number of weddings every year to ensure that each event receives the time and attention it deserves. Let me tell you: they do not disappoint. If you are looking for a Vermont wedding venue that will actually make you feel special, seen, and valued, this is the place for you. We were NOT interested in any venue that had "wedding factory" vibes or cared more about stuffing us into a cookie cutter mold for the sake of making their jobs easier than prioritizing our vision for our wedding. Taylor and the entire team at Farm Road Estate are the antithesis of that. Taylor is one of the most attentive, thoughtful, caring, interested, authentic, genuine individuals anyone may come across in this business. Not only did she forge a meaningful relationship with us, but she went out of her way at every single step to ensure that our vision for the day would come to fruition. She is flexible, accommodating, and creative. Taylor and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure that all THREE days of our events went off seamlessly and as planned, down to the very fold on the dinner napkins. We wanted a pretty incredible amount of customizations-- from linens, to cocktail napkins, to signature drinks, to escort displays, and so much more in between. No problem! We wanted privacy for our big weekend, so they worked with us to close the entire property to the public. We had pretty complex menus across two days of events that included vegan and gluten-free requirements. 0 issues! We brought in things from dance floor props to antique glassware for a dessert display... handled with care, not a single eyelash was batted. We worked with Taylor and her team for over 15 months, and not once were we ever made to feel like we were "too much" or dreaming "too big" or asking too many questions or thinking too outside the box. These are professionals of the highest caliber. Taylor and her team have incredible relationships with some of the best vendors in Vermont. This shouldn't be taken lightly, especially in rural communities where demand is often greater than supply and reputation is curated differently than in urban and suburban areas. From florists, HMUAs, DJs, and bakers, they truly only work with the most vetted and best-of-the-best. This showed throughout our weekend. We made the best possible decision. And we would do it over and over again. Choose this venue if you're aspiring for the wedding of dreams with a dream team to help get you there!

weekend unforgettable and truly went above and beyond for us. Our family and friends had a fantastic time, thanks in no small part to the delicious food and outstanding service. She even coordinated golf cart transportation for guests who needed help getting from room to ceremony site, and back to the cocktail hour/tent. Everything surpassed our expectations, and my now-husband and I loved it so much more than we anticipated upon our first visit! It was so special to have most of the guests be able to stay onsite with us and be so close to all of the events. Taylor also recommended some fantastic vendors and was able to stay in touch with them so that I didn't have to handle any of the communication on the day of the wedding. Overall, we couldn't recommend FRE more.

We were able to do everything onsite - rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and breakfast the next morning - and that made planning and day-of logistics SO easy. Our guests loved being so close to every event and we had many people tell us this was the best wedding venue they'd ever been to. Overall, everyone at FRE was wonderful to work with and happy to customize the wedding weekend to exactly what we envisioned - the flexibility and adaptability (rather than a cookie cutter approach) was just one of the many things we loved! he rooms and cottages are gorgeously decorated in farmhouse style and filled with all the amenities that you desire. We were hoping for a picture-perfect sunny day, but Mother Nature wasn’t having it. FRE quickly went to plan B, moving the ceremony and cocktails indoors to the beautiful and intimate great room. It was filled with charm, warmth, and love. The party was in their beautiful pavilion with chandlers, string lights, farm tables, and more. FRE went above and beyond our expectations, making our daughter's dream wedding come true. Little touches didn’t go unnoticed—there was a chill in the air, and they went around giving blankets to those who were cold. Taylor, Michael, Kelly, and the staff were attentive to all our needs and made us part of their family. Our guests were wowed by the exceptionally delicious food, and the chef’s presentation was perfection! Thank you, Farm Road Estate!

wed our family traveling from NY and NJ to get cozy for the whole weekend, and for the incredible service, amenities and FOOD. My husband and I have been vegan for many years and the chef, Chris didn’t flinch at getting creative to not only accommodate our vegan options, but CRUSH them- there was something for everyone and our guests absolutely raved about the food. We worked with Jess VanOrt, who was our wedding coordinator, who went above and beyond to help us stay organized and see through each and every detail that made the day so, so special. We absolutely loved working with her throughout the process and the day honestly probably would’ve collapsed without her. Randi from the front desk was also a highlight. So many of our family and guests commented on how kind, understanding and easy to work with she was, while they planned for the weekend and checked in. I was able to have the earthy, grounded, twinkly ethereal wedding of my dreams surrounded by nature and very happy people that I love, and I couldn’t imagine our day anywhere else! We look forward to spending many anniversaries visiting and dining at FRE!

where our guests could stay on site. Essentially our wedding weekend was like a grown up sleep away at the most beautiful spot with our dearest friends! From the beginning FRE staff did not disappoint - they welcomed us so warmly when we came to look at the venue (the coziness of the Inn really sold us during our gray November visit), throughout the process Jess, our wedding coordinator was kind, responsive, and we truly felt like we were in great hands, which we were! People cannot say enough good things about our wedding - the food was amazing, the staff were wonderful, and the setting and accommodations you just can't beat. 10/10 get married here :)

Jessica and the staff at Farm Road Estate went beyond every dream and expectation we could have imagined for our Wedding Weekend! We were able to have multiple planning sessions on site (virtual is an option too), food tasting, property tours, room tours, you name it and they did it. We felt so comfortable and confident going into our wedding weekend that when people asked us how we were feeling we would say, "Excited and ready!" There are multiple locations for you to hold the ceremony (indoor and outdoor), we chose by the large pond and it was absolutely stunning. Our cocktail hour was held on the patio with indoor and outdoor options available for our guests to mingle. We wanted our reception to be held indoors with the band on the ground level and they were very accommodating to make the space work even with our group size and a photobooth section and a dessert table! We also had an afterparty down in the speakeasy which was a personal favorite of mine. The food was phenomenal, our guests have been raving about the food ever since! The staff were absolutely exceptional! So attentive, happy, engaging, and truly made sure every guest felt taken care of. The rooms were a dream and so incredibly clean and had gorgeous rustic décor combined with fine elegance. Our bartender had everyone laughing and enjoying themselves while outside, the groundskeepers kept our bonfires going all weekend long to enjoy some pristine Vermont air and star gazing! Farm Road Estate and their absolutely incredible staff truly created the most magical and memorable wedding weekend for us and our loved ones.

a Wedding Weekend. The ability to have all of our guests stay with us at the venue, after not being able to see everyone for so long was incredible. Everyone at the venue was so easy to talk to and helpful in making our wedding so fun and memorable. Every detail was accounted for. The food was incredible and the rooms were so comfortable and relaxing. As any Bride and Groom know, you are so in the moment and so busy during your wedding, it is so important to have a venue that helps you with all the details, and makes sure everything is moving according to plan. Farm Road Estate does just that. We have so many wonderful memories, and the property is absolutely beautiful. Our family and friends continue to tell us how much fun they had. We definitely recommend this venue to all couples!

tate was exactly that. The property grounds are breathtakingly gorgeous yet peacefully calm. There are multiple options for ceremony sites and countless spots for amazing photos. The inn rooms and guest houses are beautifully updated with a rustic elegance charm. Our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and farewell breakfast were all held onsite at the Sawmill restaurant and the food was exceptional. The staff were professional, friendly, organized, and an overall pleasure to work with. We had a truly magical weekend we will never forget. I would highly recommend FRE to any couple looking for weekend gateway wedding in Vermont!

instantly fell in love with the venue. It was exactly what we had been searching so hard to find, but until then hadn’t been successful in doing so. We also immediately trusted the coordinators, and their vision for this venue. We thanked them and said we would think about it and let them know, but when we were driving away we both instantly said “that’s the place!” Kelly, Christie, Frazier, and the whole staff made our wedding exceptional. They were working tirelessly the days leading up to our wedding to ensure everything was perfect. Kelly and Christie helped us so much during the planning process. They helped us to communicate with vendors, made suggestions when necessary, made it possible for our own vision come to life. The day of our wedding it rained… good luck I guess. The staff at Farm Road Estate made our wedding extraordinary even in the rain.. so much so that we didn’t even notice. The food was exceptional and we received numerous compliments from wedding attendees. Farm Road also hosted our rehearsal dinner at last minute notice due to an issue with another venue and knocked it out of the park. They accommodated all of our rehearsal dinner guests and were entirely flexible to whatever we desired for the menu that night. If you haven’t you also have to try their brunch (our personal favorite). Many of our attendees stayed on site, and my family rented one of the larger homes, which was perfect for relaxing in on the days leading up to the wedding. We have family and friends who expressed that they would definitely be returning for another stay. In summary upon reflection we can’t imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. If you are looking for a custom experience, that is unique to you as a couple, in a timeless and romantic setting, choose this venue, you won’t be disappointed. We look back so fondly at our wedding day and it is 1000% percent because of this venue and the coordinators, owners, and staff that breathe life and character into it. Thank you Farm Road Estate! We will be returning for brunch often!

oke experience. Kelly and Stephen go to great lengths to accommodate any request. They make excellent suggestions such as where to have the ceremony and how to time all the activities. They helped us by building a big picture of what we wanted and then hashing out all the little details we needed to get there. They made us feel so SPECIAL. Our wedding was romantic, authentic, and natural. Stephen and Kelly really pay attention to the bride and groom. (2) Accommodating the guests: My wife and I wanted to find a venue that could host our guests for an entire weekend. The idea being - everyone can spread out, relax, and spend quality time together. Farm Road Estate can give you access to the entire facility, allowing for all of your friends and family to intermingle and soak in everything Vermont has to offer. Many of our guests said this was the best wedding they'd been to and likened it to a vacation. In summation: with all of the cookie cutter venues out there, we feel SO LUCKY to have had our wedding at such a gem of a place that allowed us to have the best time of our lives without pushing us into a strict schedule or forcing us to follow a bunch of rules. The Farm Road Estate staff is EXCEPTIONAL; kind, lovely, caring. Also - shoutout to Chef Chris for the delicious food and the bar manager, Tim for making some fantastic cocktails. The party went all weekend long!

am was professional, accommodating and communicative. We truly got the feel that they were willing to do whatever, whenever to make us and our families happy. Any and all of our requests, big or small, were taken care of quickly and  Stephen, the GM was on site for our tours and tasting and he is a customer service genius. Christopher, the chef, prepared us all of our exceptional meals throughout the weekend and our guests could not stop raving about the food. We hosted all of our wedding events on site: rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and Sunday brunch for our guests since no one was local and a good number of our guests stayed on site. Every single one of the events went off without a hitch due to Kelly's remarkable attention to detail. If you are looking for a venue to host several things in one weekend in a stunning location with great food, look no further. The icing on the cake (no pun intended) was when we forgot to bring our wedding cake home and another member of their family whom we had never met, went out of his way to meet us in our home state to give it to us. They have an incredible team and staff that ensured an unforgettable wedding weekend experience.

The restaurant on property that catered all our meals is exceptional. Guests are still raving about the great food and the beautiful setting. So glad we found Farm Road Estate because it was exactly what our daughter wanted for her wedding!

Michael, Michael Sr. and Jason who are also owners were constantly around taking care of many of the details that made the day so perfect! Steven, the general manager made sure all of guests were well taken care of. Tim, the Restaurant manager took care of all our needs with the food and drinks, that were all excellent! And finally Chris Lauinger, the executive chef was outstanding. Everyone of our guests couldn’t say enough nice things about all of the food, from the cocktail hour to the dinner. This was a large wedding with over a180 people. Many of our guests stayed at Farm Road in the very nice rooms. The wedding party and close family stayed in the cottages on the estate. These homes and cottages are gorgeous! Especially the two larger homes for the bridal party. They are updated, beautifully decorated and very spacious! We were there a few days before the wedding and enjoyed all the amenities. Our guests enjoyed the pool, played tennis, swam in the lake and hiked! The weather turned out perfect and even if it didn’t the whole Farm Road estate team had contingency plans for us. Our family, friends and guests could not stop talking about the venue and how impressed they were with everything. We were truly blessed to find such an unbelievable location to host one of the best days of our lives. This turned out to be an epic wedding and by the time we had to leave and say goodbye to the staff and owners it felt more like saying thank you to a part of our family. If you choose this wedding venue, I promise you won’t be disappointed!! Outstanding job by everyone!

when we got engaged and started planning our wedding, and we booked Farm Road Estate site unseen. It was a real leap of faith! We finally visited for the first time this past weekend, and we are in love! Everything from the beautiful grounds, the gorgeous reception room and restaurant, the food, drinks, lodging, activities, truly everything is top notch. Best of all, Kelly, one of the owners, Stephen the General Manager, and Christopher the Chef, are all outstanding. So friendly, warm, and helpful!
