Debi at Simply Delicious was recommended to us and are we every grateful. The cake was not only beautiful, but delicious. We wanted a rustic, Scottish feel and she was spot on. Very friendly, quick to respond to emails and set-up was perfect. We would totally recommend her to anyone who wants a tasty, beautiful cake.

Debi was extremely sweet, we had a great tasting and then didn't really have to talk to her again after choosing the cake - she worked directly with the venue for drop off and we had the florist leave flowers for her to decorate our cake. She also went back to pick up the stand the next day so we didn't have to deal with it or return it . Debi didn't pressure us into getting a larger cake than we needed because we told her we were doing an ice cream bar too. To top it off, the cake was delicious and she even included an edible, personalized statue of our goldendoodle coming out of the cake (for a modest fee) - it was PERFECT. Definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed working with them for our wedding last January. They absolutely nailed the design that my husband and I wanted for our cake (a mountain sunset theme with a cake topper featuring our two dogs)! They did absolutely beautiful work, and we enjoy continuing to run into them around town in Waynesville and sampling their selection of baked goods. We just ate the top tier of our cake that we froze for our first anniversary and it tasted just as good a year later as it did the day of our wedding, thanks to the detailed instructions on their website.

As the manager of a wedding venue, I eat a LOT of cake. Debi has some of the most consistently delicious and beautiful desserts that I've ever tasted. They always deliver on time and are very accommodating of special requests and dietary needs. When Clients ask who they should call for their dessert, I never hesitate to recommend her services.

They were wonderful to work with and the cake was delicious! They have so many great selections that it was hard to narrow down the flavors. Loved working with this bakery.

From the beginning, she was always quick to respond and made sure to go above and beyond for us! We had 4 flavors of the cakes at our wedding and they were all amazing and delicious! Debi and her team at Just Simply Delicious are fantastic!! Our wedding cake was exactly what we wanted. Simple and elegant with three tiers, each a different flavor (chocolate, red velvet, and Italian cream with raspberry), with very very light icing on the outside and decorated with berries. The chocolate tier with chocolate pie filling was the best chocolate cake I have ever eaten. Our guests were going back for seconds and thirds to try all of the flavors. The cake was stunning, and delicious at the same time!!!

Our wedding cake was delicious and absolutely stunning! Debi was so nice and easy to work with, she assisted with determining the appropriate cake size as our guest count changed and she made the most delicious 3-tier cake with different flavors in each tier - everything was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Deb makes some really delicious cakes! She was super easy to work with and truly took our ideas and made such a beautiful wedding cake for our recent wedding. We got the carrot cake for one layer and chocolate peanut butter for the other layers. They layers never touched so it was fun to have many cake options for our guests. Also I had a plan for a custom cake topper and she made a beautiful creation that helped to share our love story!

Our cake was perfectly delicious! The guests loved it and it was the best cake we have ever had. The tasty was wonderful. Debi had several choices lined up and we loved them all. The taste was creative and first class. We were able to do a custom design into the cake based on our invitation, which was very special. The fondant was delicious. The guests loved it, even the ones who don’t usually like fondant. 5 stars is just not enough for this very special cake baker.

We decided to do pies vs. a cake at our wedding. Just Simply Delicious had beautiful and unique photos of the cakes and pies they have made on their website. Their reviews were great and they were on our venue’s preferred vendor list, for good reason. Debi was so accommodating! I love raspberry pie and it’s tough to find. Even though our wedding was in the fall, Debi sourced fresh raspberries earlier in the year when they were in season and had them frozen for us until she was ready to make our pies. I was thrilled! We had raspberry pie, pecan pie, key lime pie and banana cream pie. I received numerous comments about how delicious they were. We couldn’t have been happier with Debi and her delicious creations!

Our daughter's wedding cake was one of the best I have ever eaten. Debi and her crew gave us just what we asked for and more. Her cakes are moist and her fillings for the cake are top quality. Debi went above and beyond. We also ordered little apple breads for our guests and they were super scrumptious and so moist. She had wrapped them in these cute little bags and put our little tags on them for us saving a lot of our time. Thank you again Debi and crew for making our daughter lacetta's day a great one.

Debi was AMAZING! From the 1st meeting to the last, Debi was always so friendly, helpful and easy to work with. Communicating with her was such a breeze. The cake was incredible, so moist and the icing and flavors were to die for. I heard only wonderful compliments from everyone about how much they enjoyed the cake. Some said they don't like icing but this was so light and good they ate every bite. We showed her an inspiration picture of the cake, thinking she would come close. She decorated the cake exactly how the bride wanted, it was gorgeous. Her prices were reasonable as well. We had decided a few weeks out to do apple bread as a favor for the guests. I was telling Debi about it and she jumped right in said she could do it, she would also look for the best packaging. All I needed to do was bring her the tags - she would assemble, deliver and setup (70 breads). They were wonderful, so moist - everyone loved them. Debi was AMAZING! I found that the majority of my vendors had horrible communication skills... Not Debi! She always answered my emails within minutes. On top of Excellent communication skills, her cake was hands down, the ABSOLUTE BEST that we tasted anywhere is the Western North Carolina area. Even better, it was one of the most reasonably priced cakes we found. It was decorated exactly how I wanted it. She is the BEST baker you will find.

Beautiful and Delicious cakes!

My daughter wanted a dessert table rather than a wedding cake. Debi provided a beautiful display of desserts. Since the groom loves milk and cookies, this was one of the selections. It was lovely and delicious. She was also able to accommodate my daughter's gluten free needs. She was easy to work with and affordable.

Just Simply Delicious made my grooms cake and my wedding cake and it was perfect! our grooms cake was a death star mounted on a stick which my husband absolutely loved! our wedding cake was a four teir traditional cake with each layer consisting on of a different flavor (we chose blueberry, chocolate and peanut butter, and pumpkin spice :). Not only did they both look great they tasted amazing as well. Everything was delivered on time and we never had any issues. We had one tasting to discuss flavors and setup but that was it! They make everything very stress free and I would highly recommend them to anyone having a wedding in that area!

The cake was amazing. What were asked for and what we got! We had two different flavors and I wish I had dedicated servers to make sure I got to taste both! The middle layer was eaten up by guests and I am dying to try it! Lemon cake with lemon curd and whole blueberries for the filling.... maybe for our wedding anniversary!

No complaints! Debi provided us a ton of options during our tasting and was very flexible and easy to work with when it came to placing our order. We went with 100 cupcakes in 3 flavors with 3 different icings and 2 different fillings, plus a single tier cutting cake. For an order that complicated, her pricing was very reasonable and the quality was exceptional. The cakes were moist, flavorful, and not too sweet. A month later and people are still talking about the cakes! Our guests LOVED the chocolate cake with hazelnut icing and many went back for seconds. She has a good selection of display rentals too, and doesn't rip you off with the price of those either.

I am thoroughly blown away with Just Simply Delicious Cakes. We made a tasting appointment with Debi and she brought several options to the tasting. She did not ice the cakes but brought several choices so we could pair the cake, filling and icing that we liked the best. All of her options were DELICIOUS. It was so hard for us to choose that we ended up having a cake buffet with 5 different cakes! She was also extremely professional. We went to another tasting and they treated us poorly and gave us one dry cupcake to taste. Choosing Just Simply Delicious Cakes was easy after that! Debi also supplied us with cake stands and decorated our cake table for us. It looked so beautiful and the cake was very tasty on our wedding night! We did not have any leftovers! A few weeks after our wedding, Debi sent us a thank you email. I would definitively recommend Debi if you want a delicious and beautiful cake for your wedding or any other event!
