We are beyond delighted we with Farm to Table for our wedding. It was a backyard wedding and Jennifer and Carlos gave us so much help and advice! They really went above and beyond the role of the caterer. Jennifer met with us at the venue to help us figure out how many people we could fit and how to best put the day together. She always had a great attitude, took an interest in us, was flexible and exceeded our expectations day-of! We got a ton of compliments on our food and especially the top notch service from our guests! I would recommend them to a friend in a heartbeat!

If you want the best of the best when it comes to your event catering, Farm to Table is the only way to go! Jennifer and Carlos go above and beyond to make sure the food is both aesthetically beautiful and tastes delicious! We wish we could have their masterpieces for every single meal :) Jennifer is outstanding at helping you develop the best guest experience when it comes to the cocktail hour and reception food, and Carlos does a perfect job executing the plans. Any idea or request you have, they can make happen (we wanted an upscale taco bar...and churros as one of our desserts). They even make you a personalized tray of cocktail hour appetizers to munch down in between photos, and have a plate of food ready for you to enjoy during dinner. Every past bride always told me you don’t have a chance to eat at your own wedding, but Jennifer and Carlos will ensure that you get some food in your bellies! Plus our guests still rave about how delicious the food at our wedding was...even 4 months after the fact! Jennifer, Carlos and their team were one of the best investments we made on our wedding day. The food was fresh, delicious and beautiful too! My husband and I actually met to taste their meals twice before our big day – Jennifer and Carlos were awesome and wanted to ensure we would be getting the exact flavors we loved on our big day. And we were SO happy with everything! From carnitas tacos as an appetizer to flank steak and cheesy risotto cakes for dinner, the food was perfect. Farm to Table even took it above and beyond and helped to create our guest’s welcome drinks that had little lemon peels and thyme clipped to the glass rims- so cute! Thank you, Carlos and Jennifer!

I am the mother of the bride and planned the wedding for our daughter. I would hire farm to table again in a heartbeat! Jennifer and Carlos were organized, always responsive and a delight to work with. The food was delicious and we had many compliments from our guests. They are a quality team which is is exactly what you need when you are planning a wedding and they are genuinely nice people!

I cannot imagine a better caterer exists. My husband and I really wanted delicious food at our wedding, and Jennifer and Carlos delivered times a million. We adored working with them -- Jennifer was super responsive, kind, and accommodating throughout the whole process -- but we enjoyed their food even more! From the gorgeous edible flowers that decorate their dishes to the seasonal menus to the fabulous and inventive flavors, my husband and I and our guests all raved about the food! My particular favorite was the steak with salsa verde -- yum! Finally, FTT was super flexible about allowing us to bring our own dessert and they even served it for our guests with vanilla bean gelato <3

It took me awhile to write this review because I wanted to make sure it was perfect, because Farm to Table is PERFECT & AMAZING! From my first conversation with Jennifer I was at ease, she was thoughtful, an event planning expert and really explained to me how a wedding reception should flow. Once our first conversation wrapped up, I knew we needed to work with Jennifer and Carlos. Planning a wedding from across the country made me nervous, but Jennifer made it easy, she was so responsive via email and wouldn't hesitate to set up a call. Now onto the FOOD, we went to Grass Valley for our tasting and Carlos & Jennifer made it so fun! They had a beautiful table set-up and you truly felt like you were dinning at 5-star restaurant. When we left we couldn't stop talking about all the dishes and were so excited for our guests to enjoy. On our big day Farm to Table's execution was flawless, their team was so professional and friendly. Once cocktail hour started Jennifer made sure we each had a drink, apps & had beautiful plates of food at our table right when we sat. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was and how great the bartender & servers were, the next few weeks when we'd catch up with our friends and family that was the first thing they'd say. "It was hands down the best food I've ever had a at wedding, we felt like we were at a restaurant in wine country or the city". Not only is Farm to Table the full package (catering, bartenders, setup/breakdown, rental coordinator, etc), Jennifer also sent me a list of recommended vendors.They were all amazing and we ended up building our wedding team with their list and were in such good hands. I hope one day to work with them again for another event or they open a restaurant that we can go to! :) THANK YOU AGAIN Jennifer & Carlos for making our wedding day come to life with delicious food & service! You guys are the BEST!!!

THIS IS THE BEST WEDDING FOOD YOU WILL EVER HAVE!! Jennifer and Carlos are an amazing team and never too busy to answer your questions and concerns throughout the planning process. The food was delicious, seasonal and amazing! We received so many compliments at our daughter’s wedding two weeks ago. This will be better than any other wedding food you have ever had! Love these two and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 🙌🏻

Wow wow wow!!! Jennifer and Carlos are absolutely amazing! They respond quickly and make absolutely delicious food! Jennifer was so fun to work with and she genuinely cares about you and making your day perfect! Carlos gives great recommendations based on what food to get seasonly and what wine to pair with it! I will definitely use them again (still figuring out what I need catered ha). If you want to work with two of the best people in the business give them a call!

Great food great couple The operation is run by the cutest couple. Carlos is the quiet meticulous chef who will wow even your snobbiest friends’ taste buds. Jen runs front of house. That means she does all the menu crafting, costing, logistics, staffing… basically she makes it her mission to make sure your wedding is the very best dream wedding ever (and I do believe she means it). For our first visit we drove out to Grass Valley for our initial tasting. My wife and I were sold after a few bites and so we started talking logistics. Our wedding venue was a privately owned 1920s house up in Tahoe. Beautiful, yes. All inclusive, no. After the first few minutes it was clear we weren’t accurately describing the challenges they would face by taking us on as a client. This place had 2 tables, 7 forks, and a beautiful historic useless 1920s kitchen. They agreed to drive up to Tahoe to do a site visit. Two months later they drove 1.5hr up to Tahoe to check out the venue. I am so glad they did. They really got a sense on why this venue was special -- and challenging. They decided it would be best to just build their own outdoor kitchen. Did I mention they want to make your dream wedding come true? As we walked around the property explaining our vision, they (respectfully) gave us logistical feedback, as well as grand vision ideas that we later incorporated in the actual wedding. Wedding day: Just as it is supposed to happen, my wife and I just showed up to cocktail hour and everything was running smoothly. Every guest had a drink and was nibbling on hors d'oeuvres. Jen immediately greeted us with a custom hors d'oeuvres plate for us to inhale. Somehow Jen found out that I love prosciutto and melon and so there was one slice prepared just for me. Dinner: Fantastic! We had an amazing seasonal salad with nectarine and burrata, basil parmesan polenta cakes, grilled strip steak with salsa verde and roasted dorado with blistered heirloom tomatoes. My wife and I both strategize and save our favorite flavor for our last bite. We were stumped! So we called Jen over and told her our problem was that it was all too good. Without skipping a beat she told us how to savor the last of our flavors. We got so many compliments on the food. People always say that your guests will only notice if it’s bad. They are wrong. I think people enjoyed the food more than the ceremony. And that says A LOT coming from very foodie SF-bay area guests.

From the beginning, it was clear that choosing Jennifer and Farm to Table Catering was a great decision. Jennifer is extremely knowledgeable and she delivers on everything she promises. The food was beautiful and delicious for our 99 person wedding. They customized our menu for gluten-free, dairy-free at no extra charge and coordinated rentals. We got SO many compliments on the appetizers and entrees that I'm starting to think we had the best wedding food our group ever had. On top of all of that, their service at the event was truly phenomenal. Their attention to details and execution were spot on! We are so impressed with the team and we thank all of you so much for making the food at our wedding perfection!

From the first phone call to the cutting of the cake, you'll be so glad you chose Farm to Table. They have many options for appetizers, sides, and mains, but they are also happy to come up with new and delicious things that suit your tastes and style. The food was delicious. We enjoyed it immensely and got many compliments. (Chicken, Salmon, Brocollini, Rissoto, Artichokes, Strawberries, etc) And always so beautifully prepared. They treat you like royalty and keep your friends and family so happy as well. They are a joy to work with. Hire them!

Stop your hunt and hire farm to table now.. seriously.. I never write reviews but I have to for Jennifer. I firmly believe Farm to Table is the best catering company in all of Sacramento and Yolo county.. and trust me I looked into 50+ caterers! Book her now because I have a feeling word is going to spread and she is going to be hard to get!! Jennifer, Carlos and their team were phenomenal and truly made my 150 person Newcastle wedding the best it could be. The food was incredible, people kept coming up saying “I can’t believe this is wedding food!” Loved the steak, salmon, and stunning apps. In addition to five star food Jennifer coordinated the rentals, found us our photographer and coordinator, and generally went above and beyond helping us make our wedding perfect. She could have charged us double and I’d be still thrilled.

Not only is their food amazing to taste with local, fresh ingredients, it is beautifully served. Guests have been telling us it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding and it certainly was in our opinion too! Then add to that, the wedding planning details they help with in working with other vendors leading up to the event, all they do to help set up everything, including decorations, then clean up everything—it’s unbelievable the service you get for the price! Not to mention how easy and fun they are to work with. You can’t get any better!

We could not have been happier with the services of Jennifer and Farm to Table Catering. They didn't just cater for us (and the food was fantastic); they also did a beautiful job setting up the venue, and acting as wedding planners as well. We got married in Nevada City, and Jennifer's familiarity with all wedding-related people and companies there meant we could just trust her recommendations without a second thought. To top it off, they were a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. They made our wedding day a wonderful and surprisingly stress-free event.

Jennifer and Carlos created the most beautiful wedding food you can image. We have never felt so pampered. Im gluten and cow dairy-free. They provided an array of dishes for me as well as 2 vegan dishes for our guests. They take customer service to a whole new level. Their food is beautiful as well as delicious. Literally from farm to table as their business states. Everything they prepared was fresh and visually stunning. Our guests are still talking about it. We would definitely use them again for any catering events we might have in the future. True professional and caring. You need Farm to Table for your wedding end of story. Jennifer and Carlos are absolutely amazing! Everyone was dying over how good the food was! I don't think I've ever had salmon that good. These two are amazing to work with. They made everything so simple, altered menus to be exactly what we wanted, offered suggestions based off of my vague rambling emails, and made sure that we got a huge amount of food to take home with us in the limo since we barely ate at the wedding. Honestly, they could be charging way more than they do. I checked out so many caterers and it was all so expensive and just looked so cookie cutter. We didn't want to pick out a menu that everyone has had before and with Farm to Table, everything was created for us. The food was so amazing I wish these guys were my personal chefs! We also hired Jennifer as our coordinator and I think it was the best decision I've ever made. She is phenomenal. She knows everyone, knows how to get good deals, suggests the perfect vendors for every budget, and by the end I just handed it all over to her because I completely trusted her judgment on what would make our wedding look amazing and she definitely pulled off an even more spectacular wedding than I'd ever imagined. She completely took all my stress away, made decisions quick and painless, and completely understood my vision. She is hilarious and so personable I'm so sad we're not getting married again because I miss her already. Hire Farm to Table and your wedding will be perfect.

The food was absolutely, hands down, incredible. If having good food is important to you on your big day, go with Farm to Table. All the guest raved... and still do months later. The appetizers stole the show during cocktail hour. Working in Napa Valley, I am exposed to some of the best food in the world- that said, I can say with out a doubt the meal prepared by the team at Farm to Table could easily be a meal served at a five star restaurant. Not only Farm to Table handle all things food (they'll even prepare a late night snack for you and your guests!), they completely decorated the venue and coordinated the entire day. They took care of all linen, chair, tableware and other rentals. Farm to Table is basically a caterer/weedingcoordinator/decorator. AKA a brides BFF. They venue was absolutely gorgeous, better than anything I could have dreamt up. I still have people telling me how beautiful our wedding was. I can't forget to mention, Jennifer, the owner, is extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process. She takes the time to make sure she understands exactly what you want so your big day is perfect- and truly prides herself in what she does. Needless to say, the service we experienced with Farm to Table was more than wonderful. I would recommend them 100%.

Farm to Table Catering is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend them for any and all events. My husband and I hired Farm to Table for our wedding at the Miners Foundry, and it was by far one of the best decisions we made. From the first meeting with Jennifer and Carlos they were so incredibly helpful and wonderful to work with. Carlos’ food is absolutely beautiful and of course delicious! Jennifer was an amazing help, not only with coordinating the food, but also helping us find linens, decorations, dessert, etc., etc. They are definitely an incredible pair! We couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience. Our guests absolutely loved the food, and I loved how much wedding planning stress was alleviated knowing that the food (which lets be honest, is a HUGE part of the wedding) was in their wonderful and extremely talented hands. If you’re looking for delicious, local, fresh, and inspired food, Farm to Table Catering is without a doubt the best choice!

Jennifer and Carlos were incredible! From the first moment we met them to discuss catering our wedding, they set us at ease with their pleasant demeanor and attention to detail. Jennifer was extremely easy to work with and always responded to emails quickly. Carlos customized our menu and offered many great suggestions to fit the theme of our Italian family style wedding. We chose Farm to Table to cater our wedding because they offered a large array of high quality and local food at a reasonable cost. They truly went above and beyond with the additional services that they offered. Jennifer created menus that matched our invitations, ordered and served our gelato for dessert, and assisted our coordinator with setting up and pouring wine. Like other caterers they had levels of food you could order. But, they were not as rigid as other vendors we talked to. They gave us flexible options to suit our needs and both Jennifer and Carlos were upfront with all fees and made sure we knew what we were getting. They were a pleasure to work with and seemed genuinely excited about our ideas and incorporated them in their catering. It felt more like we were working with friends rather than a vendor. Everybody at our wedding raved about the delicious food and the professionalism of their service. Taking everything into account from price to quality there is nobody better than Farm to Table Catering for your wedding.
