Farmgirl Flowers

ivered the day before your wedding to ensure their freshness, that leaves you with about 24 hours to contact them if you receive poor quality flowers, during what is arguably the most stressful/busy period leading up to a wedding. I will say that to their credit that everyone I interacted with at Farmgirl was kind, courteous, and professional. However, the quality of the flowers that I received for my wedding was just unacceptable. We scheduled our flowers to be delivered midday on Friday for a 4 pm wedding the next day; they were driven an hour and a half from Petaluma to Monte Rio in an air conditioned car and were kept in a walk in refrigerator at my venue up until the ceremony. Upon their arrival on Friday, I noticed that the white and light pink blooms in ALL arrangements, most upsetting in my bridal bouquet, were browning and the edges were curling. Since it's very unlikely the flowers completely withered after being in a car for an hour and a half, the only conclusion I can draw is that they left Farmgirl in that condition. Both our photographer and venue coordinator were stunned that they florist sent the flowers in such condition and took photos of the flowers so that I could follow up and request reimbursement after the ceremony. I reached out to Farmgirl requesting reimbursement for two of the most heavily wilted items, some loose flower stems and my bridal bouquet. Our event correspondent, Makayla, happily reimbursed for the loose flowers (the less expensive of the two items), but did not oblige for my bridal bouquet. Her reasoning behind this is that since I only requested reimbursement after my wedding date, not before, they were not able to send me a replacement bouquet free of charge. Since we received the flowers 24 hours before our wedding, it's a little ridiculous to suggest that this could have been resolved only if we'd contacted them that Friday. The requested item for reimbursement also only accounted for 7% of the money spent on our total order, which only heightens my frustration. My one hope in writing this review is that other brides can make a more informed decision when choosing to spend thousands of dollars on their wedding day flowers. I strongly recommend going with a different florist.

s that I liked and a few things I didn't want to see in the bouquets and they used what was in season to make the arrangements. They also sent photos to get an idea of sizing of the different options and were very flexible with me as I added and removed from my order. I was slightly nervous because I had a Sunday wedding and they don't deliver on Sundays. The flowers were delivered to a home nearby on the day before and it was a hot weekend, but they held up amazingly well and looked fresh and gorgeous on the day of. I can honestly say the flowers were among my favorite part of my entire wedding, I really couldn't get over how beautiful they looked. I'm so happy I went with Farmgirl Flowers and would highly recommend them to anyone!

er florists I checked, and I loved the idea of giving them a color pallet/link to my Pinterest board, and letting them run with the design. All of their flowers are seasonal so I just said "as bright as possible" and let go of the reigns. My favorite part was the mini pineapples they included! One tip: If you're storing your flowers in a hotel fridge the night before the wedding...make sure the temp isn't turned to FREEZING. My poor flowers had a bit of frostbite the morning of the wedding, but once they thawed out, they still looked great in photos!

they were super responsive, helpful, and professional. I gave them some keywords—wild, autumnal, modern, graphic—and sent them some example arrangement photos, and they totally delivered something I absolutely loved! We’d ordered 1 bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 groom boutonnière, and several corsages/boutonnières for groomsmen and family members. I had a family member pick up the order the morning before our wedding, which was super easy, as Farmgirl gave really great and detailed directions/instructions. All in all, the best value for the most beautiful florals—highly recommend!

is that you cannot pick specific types of flowers, so I did not know exactly what I was getting. I did send pictures, but I would have liked the colors to have matched my photos a little more than it did. Other than that, I had no complaints.

Not only was my bouquet beautiful, but Genevive contacted me when by flowers were mailed and when they arrived at the FedEx location in Tucson. She even went as far as contacting the resort to make sure my flowers were put in water and stored for my wedding. I cannot say thank you enough to this team for making my experience so wonderful. I am forever a customer (even if I live in MN)!

idn't know what to expect. The flowers ended up being so gorgeous and were exactly what we had in mind. We received so many compliments from all of our guests on the flowers. Love Farmgirl for sending flowers as gifts and now I can highly recommend them for events as well!

chose them based on their approach to putting their arrangements together. My family was shocked when I said that the only instructions I gave were "no hot pink" and "no lillies," because the flowers went so well with the other decor we had.

a great variety of colors and styles. Turned out exactly how I wanted them to be. Cons: Lacked the ability to choose which flowers will be in the bouquets, wasn't ever given a picture of what they might look like. I had to give a very clear description of the flowers I wanted and my vendor almost entirely mixed up our choices, which was unfortunate to have to clear that up for her. My bride's bouquet was a little too big to hold and actually got tired of doing so due to the weight. My mom's corsage had a loose ribbon to attach it to her wrist and repeatedly fell down.
