We had the most amazing experience at the Courtyard!! The venue is stunning, the pictures don’t even do it justice. The hotel property and amenities were great. We had so much fun hanging at the pool with our guests pre/post wedding day! The staff was wonderful. Our wedding day was perfection. Everything ran smoothly and was taken care of for us. The food was amazing, the bartender (Chad) was phenomenal! Our guests raved about their experience! We had so much fun dancing the night away in the sand!! It was a dream wedding and I would 100% recommend to everyone!!!

After college, I started my career as a Sales Coordinator and quickly progressed into a Catering Manager role, where I discovered what I truly love, which is all things weddings. DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE! When we booked we let them know that we would need around 30-40 rooms for our guests as they would all be traveling in for the wedding. ...
They told us no problem at all and once you fill your 10 room courtesy block, that they can provide us with more rooms. We were told we would get our room block link a year out from our wedding date and didn’t get the link until a month after the dates went live to the public. At this time when we asked for another 10 rooms, we were told the resort was basically sold out and to check other local hotels. The surrounding area hotels were sold out and they said they could only provide us with more rooms at their sister property but it would be $500+ a night. We spoke with Lyn the sales director and she was EXTREMELY RUDE! When we spoke with her we just wanted to work together to come up with a solution to the lodging problem and when she called the first thing she said was “what can I do for you?”(with an attitude and tone). She then insulted my fiancé and said “well isn’t one of you a travel agent?” “Well then you should know it’s peak season and things fill up fast”-which had nothing to do with the situation at hand. Lyn said that no hotel will guarantee 100% of your guests will have a room (yet we only had 20 rooms and needed 20 more for our wedding guests). We were then told to check out local air bnbs to lodge our guests at, which was not realistic as we booked the venue at the hotel as it had onsite lodging. We were lied to and trusted them in good faith and got burned. Quite frankly it seems like they didn’t want a gay wedding at the venue and were discriminating against us since we are gay. We had to cancel the wedding at this venue as we would not have been able to house our guests at the hotel. We will never return to the venue after this experience! Do yourself a favor and find a better venue that cares about your business once you book! We are getting our lawyer involved to escalate this matter as they only gave us half of our deposit back.

fun & perfect my wedding was. I can't say enough good things about Kristy and my experience. Her communication was 10/10. Anything I could possibly stress about, she had an answer and solution. She is VERY organized and has everything down to a science. She goes above and beyond for her brides & makes them feel so special. I kept telling myself "expect at least one thing to go wrong on wedding day" & let me tell you, everything went completely smooth. No hiccups or anything. What else can I bride hope for, right?! We had the absolute best time; the staff is phenomenal, the food was great, the DJ kept the vibe fun, and our guests are still talking about what a wonderful experience it was. I have no idea how anyone gets married without a wedding coordinator. Kristy and her team will make your day a breeze and keep everything running like clockwork. They saved me when I was a disorganized, scatter-brained mess. Run, don’t walk, to book your wedding at the Courtyard Marathon. You won’t regret it.

Kristy/Linda were always just an email away for any questions or concerns I had. Kristy also did a great job of keeping everyone on track on the wedding day, everything went so smooth with her help. e provides full packages which allows for you to be hands off but also allows for you to customize your day. Two weeks prior, I decided that we HAD to have a flower wall. I looked online and at DIY options, tried to figure out the logistics of getting it to the Keys, and then I called Kristy and she was like “oh no problem, we have that”. Just ask, they will make it happen.
I highly recommend holding a welcome reception. We had ours the night before in the breezeway cove area, it was fun and informal. Most of our guests came in the day before anyway so having this dinner made sense for us. Priceless memories with our closest friends and family.
The morning of our wedding was great as well. I booked the Grooms suite so they could have lunch and get ready. They took about 10 minutes to get dressed, so they drank white claws, watched Die Hard and loved it. Early afternoon it started to drizzle and there were clouds building on the horizon. This was devasting, of course, but Kristy came into the room and was so caring. I knew she was going to handle it. She had been watching the radar all day and insisted that we would be able to have the ceremony on the beach and the reception would be held under the cover. This was what we planned for but still sucked at first. When we came downstairs for the first look photos, I saw the reception beautifully setup I was blown away. You would not have known the reception was being held in the rain backup. It was incredible.
The package we picked included live music for the ceremony/cocktail hour and DJ for the reception. He was awesome. We gave him our list of songs that we had to hear, he played everything we asked him and more. He kept the party going.
Overall, we are incredibly happy with our wedding and couldn’t have imagined it any other way. Highly recommend this venue for if you are looking for a fun, laid back wedding in the Florida Keys.

sion when it came to our wedding! Kristy & her ENTIRE staff (& I truly mean every single person at the hotel !!) were absolutely flawless. I kid you not. We were a crew of people (mostly New Yorkers) that have been in the wedding industry most of our lives and had big expectations… well, we were not disappointed. From the moment we reached out to inquire about details of potentially booking , I knew we found our spot. Kristy walked us through every step & was extremely patient with the countless emails (hey, I told you I was a planner! Lol )
The hotel was wonderfully situated, the food was delicious (I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be as amazing as it was) and every person was so amazingly helpful & sweet. They all went out of their ways to please every single guest, from the moment we checked it until the last second we left. I cannot brag enough about how perfect, personable & professional every single person was. The pride they all took in what they do, was seriously inspiring. all the planning with her and Linda, to the day of the wedding. These ladies are on top of their game and no matter how many questions I asked they are so happy and helpful to answer. Even when I asked the same questions twice because I forgot, they are there to help you. Everything went so smooth, I was able to relax and enjoy the entire process. I cant thank them enough for all they did. One of my guest were so impressed they are talking about contacting them for their vow renewal in the next 2 years. even though I (the Bride) was still stressed. Kristy and Linda made sure to take the stress off my hands and make everything exactly how I envisioned in. Even taking care of calming my 6 year old down who was very nervous and crying, enough to have him make it walk down the aisle. We all cant thank the staff (ALL OF THEM) enough for all they did, from the planners/coordinators, to the build team, the chef, and the bartender, everyone was amazing. It was the perfect beach wedding with an under the stars reception. and Best of all it was all included in the price!! I would highly recommend this venue to everyone getting married. We had a small guest list and everything felt very intimate, close, and safe which is what we wanted but I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this without the venue and staff.

exaggerating when I say I sent them 100s of emails over the span of probably about 18 months. We had several phone calls & I never waited more than a day or two to receive a response. I know I was not the only bride or only "client" of theirs but I really felt like I was - they gave me so much of their time and attention! Every conversation had me feeling like I was chatting with some of my best friends. They were willing to work with me on every detail (and as a crafty DIY bride....I had a lot of details!) and really wanted to see my dream come to existence. We opted to do a rehearsal dinner, reception & farewell brunch & every moment of those 3 days could not have gone better.
The morning of my wedding, 3 hours before my hair and makeup team were scheduled to arrive....they cancelled due to illness. Enter Kristy! Within 45 minutes of me texting her this huge roadblock, she had someone set to takever. I cannot stress enough how much the whole staff was willing to go above and beyond for us on our wedding day.
I also need to comment on the food! We are not local to Florida so we were unable to do any food tastings but Kristy and Linda listened to what we wanted and worked with the chef to create an impeccable menu. Everyone raved about the food all week! From the made to order taco bar all the way through brunch! Rumor has it our cocktail appetizers were amazing too.... we were too busy taking pictures and mingle to try them but it made me so happy that our guests approved!
I simply cannot recommend this place enough. The staff was superb, the food was amazing but I think what stuck with me the most was the communication. They really focus on communicating and being responsive which is a game changer and so important while wedding planning.

places overseas that we hadn't met/visited and didn't know, so we were extremely anxious preparing everything in advance, but once we were in situ, it just felt perfect, and we are so glad we were able to celebrate there! We really appreciated that Jill and Isabel bent over backwards for us - from the speakers and candles on table, to helping with the walk out and keeping everything on track was so helpful, and we were hugely grateful! If there was one thing we would have changed, it would have been the chairs on the beach for the five of us - they were more 'conference' style navy than the white seats we assumed we had hired, which would have been better for the photos, however, everything else was perfect. ery quick to respond to all my questions when we were picking a venue as well as during the planning process, making us feel very comfortable with the decisions we were making. From arrival, all of the staff was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The beach ceremony and reception was incredibly pretty and well done with very little stress on our part! We chose to have our ceremony around sunset, and the lighting was perfect. It was a great value as the setup included the ceremony chairs, reception tables with linens and place settings, tables for cake and guest book, and pretty string lights.The food also was amazing- guests were raving about the tostado appetizers! I highly recommend the Courtyard in Marathon for a lower stress destination wedding!

edding goes smoothly. They answer a million questions without making you feel stupid for asking. The day of the wedding they oversee all the setup and wedding and help SO much. It is like hiring two amazing day of coordinators when you book with the hotel. The food was amazing and the staff was so friendly. Guest are still talking about how perfect everything was. The hotels pricing is half of those in surrounding areas. You truly hit the jackpot booking here. I want to plan another event with them in the future!

We were immediately impressed with Jill Campbell and her responsiveness. Jill was quick to respond to our emails and had an answer to all of our MANY questions. We gave her a rough number of guests (final count was 30) and what we envisioned for our wedding. She provided us with a couple of budget scenarios, catering menus with pricing, bar options, etc. Even up until the wedding day as I walked down the "aisle", I always felt reassured. Jill and team are true pros and had everything under control.
The venue is truly as a beautiful as the pictures (I had never been to the Keys until our wedding weekend). We had our wedding ceremony, reception, and dancing in the sandy area at the back of the hotel. With the palm trees and string lights, pretty blue skies, clear blue water, and a lighthouse as a backdrop, we didn’t need anything else. It was a picture perfect evening! Even weeks after the wedding, our guests keep saying the want to go back.
Our wedding day turned out to be a really warm day so the hotel placed some fans on the seats. It went with our beach theme + functional, too! The hotel added a cute reception sign onto one of the palm trees which was such a nice surprise. Jill suggested a timeline to perfectly coincide with the sunset so the photos and the evening were just magical. I never would have thought of that!
BONUS: Although this has nothing to do with the hotel, the county courthouse is just minutes away from the hotel (less than 5 miles). It was quick and easy; No waiting period for a marriage license. Just fill out some forms and you’re ready to get married!

Venue was wonderful! My guests could not stop raving about it! The staff was so accommodating and I didn't have to worry about anything! Definitely a great venue choice!

I got married at the Courtyard Marathon on July 9th and the day was PERFECT!!! Jill helped me every single step of the way from the very first email up until the day of the wedding...
. As stressful as the planning process could be, Jill was the only one I could count on throughout the process to make sure everything worked out perfectly. She was extremely helpful, offered several recommendations for vendors throughout the process, and offered suggestions for changes in the ceremony and reception to make the day even better(and she was right!). The hotel and location cannot be beat and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the hotel as well as the wedding. Our dinner was buffet style so guests were able to choose from several different foods and everyone said the food was outstanding. I am so glad I chose this location for our wedding and we cannot wait to go back!!!!

iously the best wedding chicken you have had.It is so kid friendly, yet romantic. We will be back for family vacations in the future. They made our stay here so perfect. and there is a Starbucks in the lobby. Thank you all for making our day so amazing. I would reccomended getting married here in a heartbeat to anyone doing a destination wedding.

started for your special day! There are many local experts available who will make a stunning ceremony and reception come your big day! The food at the Courtyard is to DIE for! Our guests chose between chicken over pasta and steak. Both options were delicious along with the scrumptious appetizers during cocktail hour. I felt so at ease of everything getting set up and ready on time. The view is amazing and if you are as lucky as we were, you might even get to see the dolphins on your special day!
