About this vendor
Fashion Industry Gallery (FIG) is a truly unique property in Dallas' Arts District where the cutting-edge meets the classic, and the trend-setting morphs seamlessly into the traditional, making it the prefect downtown special events venue. The property's marble-clad, mid-century modern exterior is juxtaposed with a fresh, modern and ultra chic interior. Designed by one of Dallas' most prominent architects, George Dahl, the building's impeccable design, atmosphere, and location result in a one-of-a-kind property, and the best venue for your next event.
Situated at the northern edge of downtown Dallas, FIG is a gateway location, channeling the spirit and vibrancy of nearby Uptown into its Downtown setting. The vintage M-Line Streetcar further connects the districts, conveniently stopping in front of the building's St. Paul Street entrance, before returning to Uptown. The property is situated within blocks of world-renowned luxury destination hotels, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nasher Sculpture Center, Klyde Warren Park, and the rest of the burgeoning Arts District.
The FIG events venue is approximately 28,000 square feet of sleek, contemporary loft-space. With exposed brick walls, polished concrete floors, natural and directional lighting and additional spaces including a promenade adjacent to a private park, a spacious lobby and intimate lounge. The space is a blank slate that can be transformed into the optimal backdrop.

Our daughters reception was held at the FIG. We toured FIG in August of 2013 and fell in love with it. We put a $2000.00 security deposit down as well as $ 3500.00 to secure ...
the date. After the contract was signed we never heard from them. We would send them emails leave messages on their answering machines and NO replies. Three weeks before the wedding I finally spoke to a receptionist and received a phone call from them. I set up an appointment and went over things. I was told where the girls could get ready the day of and no one was there to let us in. The security guard had to do that. I was told the tables and chairs out in the park area would be removed for photos and they weren't. It took 9 weeks after the wedding to receive a portion of our security deposit back. There was NO breakdown of the charges against the deposit. I've emailed and left messages and still have not heard from anyone. I would NOT recommend this venue.
