Being able to physically go into their store, view hundreds of examples, and customize my invitations to fit me was exactly what I needed with my visual personality. My experience with Fat Cat Paperie was wonderful! From the first meeting with Tara I felt that they were focused on bringing my dream and vision for my invitations and day of stationary come to life. After discussing what I was looking for Tara presented a variety of options without it being overwhelming. As we started to narrow things down designer Carissa could take an invitation I chose and alter the coloring to match perfectly with my wedding colors. Through paper choice, design, and font I could hold in my hand a piece of paper that portrayed the essence of my wedding day to my guests. Beyond the invitations – Fat Cat Paperie could create programs, seating cards, and most impressively signs both small and large (largest about a 2x4 ft menu) without sacrificing any clarity in the design or words. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and attitude of those that work at Fat Cat Paperie, taking the thoughts inside my head and bringing them to life for the most magical (and stressful) day of your life in such a fun way! We wrapped up our experience with custom thank you cards that had 4 of our wedding portraits resized and laid out perfectly and very quickly all in preaddressed envelopes to make the process even smoother. Katie and Carissa from Fat Cat Paperie were absolutely amazing to work with. They were organized, creative and professional! After our first consultation we knew that they were our first choice to help design our invitations, ceremony programs, welcome bags, menus, napkins and all of our signage. They also recommended and worked directly with a calligrapher to create the perfect bespoke place cards. They were able to seamlessly tie together all of these components in the same elegant nautical neutral theme. The map of the North Fork which was a staple of the theme was also custom. The turnaround on all the proofs was extremely fast and high quality. I would recommend them to friends, family and to anybody who wants nothing but the best with no stress!

Coming into my appointment I will admit that I didn't know what to expect. Being that I didn't really have a vision, I expected that this task would be daunting. The Fat Cat Paperie was great about guiding me through this process--they offer so many different types of wedding invitations you can literally go as traditional or as off-the-wall as you desire. Honestly the whole team was great and we settled on a design that was perfectly in line with the theme of my wedding, but was very classy. I absolutely love my invitations and they were very well received by my guests. They can be a little pricey, but it is worth every penny when it comes to look and quality!!

My best friend who was getting married a month before me recommended me to Fat Cat. The team is amazing- I was lucky to work with Katie, Carissa, and Barbara. From my first conversation with Barbara, and first meeting with Katie- I knew I needed to look no further. Selecting our save the dates and invitations were one of my favorite parts of the planning process. The Fat Cat team is incredible. Everyone was raving about our save the dates, and our invitations. I wanted a custom map envelope liner- and Katie didn’t even bat an eyelash, just made it happen. Working with them was completely seamless. They are so responsive, and so patient! My first meeting with Katie was a Saturday last January, and it was snowing all day. Our appointment lasted two hours, and not once did Katie make me feel rushed, even though I am sure she wanted to get home in the snow. Fat Cat also designed our gorgeous menus, and a welcome sign- Katie totally knew my look and vision and we were able to do all of that via email. I cannot recommend Fat Cat enough- we are already ordering our thank you’s, and some new monogram stationary! Without a doubt, I will be going back to Fat Cat for all of my future invitations.

I can't say enough fantastic things about Fat Cat! They were unbelievably accommodating to my heinous work schedule (offering to meet or talk on the phone whenever worked for us), had stunning and affordable options, and gave the best advice for color/font/format options that they thought would work best for our wedding. They genuinely cared about getting to know us and our style so that our invitations would be nothing short of perfect - and it showed, because so many people reached out to us to say our invitations were beautiful and so "us"! She was very patient and kind in helping me select designs, layouts, and colors even when I had moments of indecisiveness. I had such a wonderful experience working with the Fat Cat team on creating my wedding invitations. They worked with me in giving me an after-hours appointment since I work Mon-Fri and wouldn’t be able to get there before 5pm. Immediately, Pam and I connected upon my arrival. It took me awhile looking through the albums to find exactly what I wanted, but after about 45 min, Pam & I found it. We customized the invitation it to fit my vision by changing the ribbon color, size, etc. Pam was great, so patient and made sure what I was looking at was in my price point before I fell in love with it. From start to finish my experience with the Fat Cat team was phenomenal. They kept me informed the entire process, from proofing the invitations to printing. When I came to pick up my order, the invitations were beautifully packed and they even showed me how to properly stuff the envelopes. I will definitely recommend Fat Cat Paperie for your invitations and paper needs and will differently be using them again in the future!

My invitations are terrible. They didn't check to see if the color was correct, which it wasn't and it has a nice white spot in all of them. They look horrible. I am so sad as I have no choice but to use them. Got my save the dates online should have stuck with them.

I went with Fat Cat because when I compared the costs between them and online retailers like Wedding Paper Divas, they were shockingly similar! Fat Cat was great – we sat down with the owner, Pam, for a full hour looking through different designs and talking about our vision. This personal service sets Fat Cat so far apart from ordering online and is especially helpful if you aren’t sure what you want. The invitations came out beautifully – exactly as we wanted them. Unfortunately, the digital calligraphy we paid for ended up rubbing off the outer envelopes. A few of my guests told me that their names were barely visible by the time they received them, and other invitations were returned altogether. When I told Fat Cat, they were so quick to make it right. They offered me a credit which I then used toward table cards (so much nicer than hand writing them myself!). Thanks Fat Cat!

I got my sister-in-laws baby shower invitations done here and they came out amazing! They were 2 layered with a pocket and twine wrapped around them, so much more detail than you can get from ordering online. They received lots of compliments. I can't wait to go back for my wedding invitations!

Fat cat was wonderful. From the very begining Katie was so helpful. We went in with a color in mind but very little other idea of what we would want for our invitation and she was patient and showed us sample after sample. The products they had and all of the options that we could chose from in addition to the option to pretty much create our own was so helpful. I have recommended them to friends and family and will continue to use them in the future.

Working with Fat Cat was an absolute pleasure! Their staff is very knowledge, creative, and very eager to make sure everything is perfect for your special day! I worked directly with Katie, in the Mineola location, who was superb - she always made sure everything was exactly how I envisioned it, and in the budget I wanted to be. They don't try and sell you anything you don't want/need, and even gave me ways (like DIY ribbon/stuffing, etc) to save over $600 from cost, to be in the price range I wanted to be in. Not only is their service great, but the quality of invitations was incredible! I had SO many compliments about how beautiful my invitations were, and I myself couldn't be more happy with how they came out. When I picked up my invitations, the printer didn't do the best job gluing the paper together, so we had to manually glue the end tips of a bunch. Just for the "hassle", they issued me credit towards my next purchase, without me having to ask. The only thing I will say that can be improved is that I was not warned ahead of time (I used plastic cases on my invitations) how the postage was to be done. The post office told me the wrong thing, and I had to REDO all my stamps, and it was a complete horror. Make sure you ask them there, especially if you have a different size envelope or plastic case surrounding your invitation, the CORRECT way the stamps should be placed, or how much approximately they will be. Also, you need to give yourself time, because the printing can take a while so make sure you give them ample time. I appreciate a good product, but when you're planning a wedding you NEED good service, and that is what Fat Cat will give you! You won't regret booking with them.

My now husband and I are not creative at all so we did a lot of research to find the perfect invitation vendor. We met with Katie at Fat Cat Paperie with a bunch of pictures and ideas. We really liked this idea of doing cutouts over a colored paper to give the invitations something special. Katie created these really pretty sea shell cutouts on our invitations that really brought all our planning together. We also loved the colors and the paper. Even the font was perfect! Fat Cat was one of our easiest and funnest parts of planning our wedding.

To all brides debating whether they should go the professional route or a stationer (especially Fat Cat) - go Fat Cat! Working with Katie and Tara was a breeze - they took our vision and created magic fast, with proofs coming to us within the week of giving them details. Everything we used was great quality- you could tell it was professionally done. Invitations were something I first didn't care about but once seeing the work that Fat Cat did, it was definitely worth it! Thank you Katie, Tara and team for perfecting the details of our wedding!

Pam worked with my daughter, who lived out of state, and me to design unique wedding invitations (boxed), bridal shower invitations, thank you cards, and recently baby shower invitations and thank you cards. She has unique ideas and tasteful designs. If you go to her with some ideas and a theme, she will create gift boxes, favors, table cards, and place seating cards to coordinate everything to match. She is a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. Once, due to a family emergency, she met me at 11:00 at night so I could pick up favors. Top notch...don't bother looking elsewhere!
