Hiring Fater Fairytale Weddings was single-handedly the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding (aside from marrying each other of course). We knew we wanted at least a day-of coordinator when we booked our venue since it was a large property, and we had only been to one wedding as adults. We stumbled upon Ian & Will at the Madison Wedding Expo and chose them after having a great initial meeting. Out of all the vendors from the Expo they actually responded extremely quick and were knowledgeable and informative when we had no idea where to begin. They gave us a deal on month of since they don’t offer day-of coordinating, and boy was I glad we chose month-of. My husband and I are also quite shy before we get comfortable, but Will and Ian were extremely easy to talk to. We were not nervous to ask them anything even if it seemed like a no-brainer question. They had super reasonable pricing and they never charged us for extra meetings, phone calls, or texts. We had a group text going and could ask them for vendor recommendations, decor questions, or advice on timelines at any time and they would respond quicker than most of our wedding party. Once the month of was finally here, they took care of all communication between vendors and the venue, which took such a huge load off of us. They even picked up our wedding cake from Madison Sourdough and transported it to the venue since we would be at the venue (roughly 2 hrs from Madison) the night before for the rehearsal dinner. Will even ran our rehearsal, which was a welcome surprise. The day of they took care of everything! I didn’t have to lift a finger, everything went on schedule and everyone (including both mothers) loved them! They brought a fully stocked emergency kit, which my bridesmaids used. They had great communication with the photographer and all of our other vendors. We didn’t hire a full service florist, but that was no problem for them, they laid out the fresh greenery perfectly for our table settings. They were so attentive and kind with our wedding party as well. Towards the end of the night they offered to rub one of my bridesmaid’s feet! I unfortunately needed to leave a little earlier, and they drove me and my maid of honor back to our AirBNB. I seriously would never plan a wedding without hiring Will & Ian. They are truly the one vendor I could never find a replacement for. If you want serious princess (and prince) treatment on your wedding day, book these two! It was worth every penny and then some!

ious planning company who had let us down and quit a month before our wedding. Will heard what happened and made himself available to help us in our dire need. We hired him for month of coordination and he picked everything right up and I went from worrying about everything to worrying about nothing. In that last month he coordinated all of my vendors and made sure all those last little details were tied up nicely, and did it with such speed and precision that things were done before I even thought of them. He absolutely killed it day of, putting out fires and making sure everything looked amazing and went smoothly. When we noticed a dance floor tile slightly bent upwards at the corner he brought it up to the venue and it was remedied immediately. When the backdrop drapery went up, he stepped in and asked them to set it up in a way that would make the ceremony space more cohesive and scenic in a way that I did not even think of. I was swelling up from mosquito bites during first look photos and he ran to Walgreens to get me creams to help bring down the swelling and itching. He alleviated so much of my stress and advocated for me and supported me every step of the wedding process. Planning a wedding is stressful but Fater Fairytale Weddings truly cares about you and your wedding day and will do everything they can to make sure your day goes smoothly and that you not only enjoy the wedding day but enjoy the process leading up to it. Will took the time to truly understand us, our relationship, and our story, and somehow turned all of that into the most beautiful and personal ceremony we could have imagined. He had our friends and family laughing, crying, and feeling every emotion right along with us. Afterward, so many of our guests came up to both us and Will to tell us how beautiful the ceremony was and how perfectly his words captured who we are as a couple. And that was only one small part of everything he did for us. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Will worked closely with all of our vendors to make sure every detail was coordinated and everything would come together seamlessly. By the time our wedding day arrived, we truly didn’t have to worry about a thing. He kept everything moving, worked in every request we threw his way, made sure family members were where they needed to be for photos, cut our cake, and handled countless little details behind the scenes that we probably still don’t even know about. Every one of our vendors loved working with him, and because of everything he did before and during our wedding, we were able to be completely present and enjoy our day instead of worrying about what needed to happen next. We truly didn’t have to lift a finger. Having known Will for a long time, I’ve seen firsthand the amount of time, thought, dedication, and heart he puts into every wedding he plans. He genuinely cares about his couples and wants their day to feel every bit as special and magical as they imagined it would be. After experiencing that ourselves, we have an entirely new appreciation for just how incredible he is at what he does. bridesmaids, I got to see firsthand everything that happened behind the scenes — and let me tell you, these two went ABOVE AND BEYOND! The day definitely didn't start the way it was supposed to. The bride's original makeup artist never showed up, hair and makeup were behind, and the ceremony had to be delayed until 3:00. But thank God Will and Ian were prepared! They had a backup person who was able to step in and help get the bride's hair and makeup done so we could keep things moving. And from there, they handled EVERYTHING. They were pressing dresses, keeping everyone together, handling last-minute emergencies, and somehow had everything you could imagine — from pins to Band-Aids and anything else we suddenly needed. 😂👏🏽 And it wasn't just at the church. From the church to the reception venue, Will and Ian were ON IT. They made sure everything looked beautiful, kept things organized, handled problems before most people even knew there was a problem, and stayed through the cleanup. They SHOWED UP and did so much more than what they were hired to do. As a bridesmaid, I witnessed the chaos behind the scenes that most of the guests never saw. The venue was a multi-building complex with ceremony, cocktail and reception all in different locations. As a vendor, that is a lot of mileage to walk in a day when bouncing around to where they are needed. They were ALWAYS available, easy to find, always moving quickly, and kept everything on track. s a couple. They're incredibly flexible with meetings and last minute changes in plans! They crafted a practically minute-by-minute itinerary for our day and worked hard to make sure that our wedding party and our guests were respectful of our time and wishes. They gave lots of encouragement before the ceremony when nerves were running high. Our reception was absolutely fantastic too - Ian was not kidding when he says that he becomes the "wedding photo drill sergeant" - he kept us all on task and helped get photos done quickly. Will was so wonderful during the reception too - he grabbed the bride a drink from the bar when she wanted some wine but couldn't get away from the task at hand, he helped the bride and grooms family with packing up items and decor towards the end of the night, and really made this the easiest day it could have been for the two of us as a couple. t only were they helpful in the months preceding the wedding; they also made sure that the wedding day itself went without a hitch. Ian & Will are the only reason that I was able to enjoy my wedding day rather than stressing all day long. From picking up floral early in the morning and transporting it to our venue 2 hours away, coordinating with all of our vendors, setting up our decorations, getting drinks for the wedding parties, leaving the reception to pick up late-night, and cleaning up at the end of the night - they took care of it all. Because we live close to the venue, they even made trips to our house throughout the night to put the leftover food in the fridge for us and to drop off our gifts so that we could focus on dancing the night away with our family and friends. Not to mention, Ian and Will were a big hit with our guests; some even took pictures with them.
