We couldn’t be more grateful to have hired Sam for our big day in Sedona, AZ! He made us feel so comfortable from the first time we spoke on zoom and the multiple times before we met. That was crucial for me, it was like we already knew each other! So when we met it was like just meeting up with a friend. We love that we scouted our location together before our day and then got lunch after! We had to hike to our location and there was one spot that was on the ledge of a cliff and neither of us would have made it through that spot if it wasn’t for him! On our wedding day we met at 5:30 am and did a photo shoot in the snow! It was epic. He captured us getting ready together perfectly and packed our dresses,shoes,etc up. I cant express enough how comfortable and welcome he made us feel! Our photos were so beyond expectation I cried when I saw them! I would recommend Sam 1000x over! When we got back to our airbnb after our ceremony Sam cooked us an authentic Thai dish! It was DELICIOUS and shows how far beyond he exceed our expectations. Sam isn’t just a photographer, he wears sooo many hats. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our day!

Where do I even begin? Sam is nothing but AMAZING! I fell in love with his photography skills, editing, and professionalism from the beginning. His personality was fun, adventurous, and super candid - the kind of candid that you knew would tell our story perfectly. He has a special talent for making you feel 100% comfortable in front of the camera! Sam's customer service is impeccable. For each wedding plan iteration, he was available to talk it through with us, make us feel confident that it would be amazing, and even help with the logistics of finding a location relatively last minute. The photos turned out better than I could have dreamed up... just WOW! We could not be happier with these lifelong memories beautifully depicted in the artful photographs created by Fearless Weddings & Elopements. A+++++ 5 stars all the way!!

We had a wonderful experience eloping in Telluride, CO, and we are glad that we hired Sam to capture our moments! Prior to the elopement, Sam had several virtual meetings with us. During these meetings, we discussed potential locations, pros and cons of each. After finalizing the location, Sam helped us craft a detailed plan for our elopement. We liked that Sam was flexible with moving the schedule around based on factors such as weather conditions or our own personal preference. On the elopement day, we appreciated that Sam was making us feel at ease, allowing us to enjoy our day and the hike to our ceremonial location. We barely noticed that there was a camera and we felt that we could be our goofy selves! We received sneak peak photos a few days after the elopement, and they look stunning! He captured in the best way possible the beautiful Fall colors and spontaneous moments of our elopement. We can't wait to see the rest of the photos! Thank you, Sam!

Sam is an amazing photographer! Quite literally the absolute best photographer I know or have ever worked with. I hired him for my wife and I's 2 year anniversary photos. He makes it a wonderful and fun experience and creates a relaxed atmosphere. If you are trying to decide between photographers, I promise, you will be so glad if you choose Sam and his work. His quality is the best and he truly is an artist who knows his work.

Sam was everything we could have ever asked for. It was important to us to have a very chill, relaxing experience, and he was amazing with going with the flow and changing locations last second! Day of he was so calm and reassuring, and helped us non-models feel great and confident! He even turned around some extra photos within 2 hours of our ceremony! (Since it was a private elopement it was amazing to have those to show Grandparents and sibling right when we got home!)

We worked with Sam for our Lake Tahoe elopement and I can't even decide where to begin. Sam was responsive, professional, knowledgeable and all around just everything I was looking for. He took to the time to get to know us before we started the whole process to make sure he was a fit with out vision and for that I'm truly thankful. He captured the most epic wedding I could have ever dreamed of. He flew out ahead of time with us to help scope the best views and locations that would be accessible to our 90+ year old grandparents. He stayed in Lake Tahoe with us the whole time and even joined us on our fly fishing trip to take pics as part of our purchased package. I've cried so many times looking at our beautiful photos and can say that we have also made a new friend! I'd give him 10 stars if I could. Thank you Sam for everything!

Sam took photos of my daughter and her fiancé’s sunrise wedding ceremony on Lake Michigan and family photos later in the day. Sam was professional, very helpful, and guided us through the process, which wade it all fun and effortless. His photos are wonderful and we will cherish them for years to come.

Sam is absolutely AWESOME! Awesome does not even describe it. He’s more than just a photographer! He’s a guide, medic, officiant, comedian, and an all around caring and helpful guy! We found Sam through Facebook and loved his work. Taking a risk, we reached out to him to be our wedding photographer that we had never met. Not only did he stay in contact for 2 years, but because of Covid-19 he was extremely flexible and cared about the safety of everyone. Sam is dedicated to staying efficient, but also makes it important to note that you just need to be YOU. No certain posing, just be in love and he will absolutely capture everything you ever wanted. Just meeting him on our first day in Zion National Park, he is a close family friend now. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended Fearless Elopement!

Seriously the best experience ever ! Sam is very personable and professional . He was an amazing guide and was prepared for the entire trip ! It was very impressive . Sam is simply the BEST! From the very beginning, we could tell we would like Sam over our other candidates because he was professional, extremely helpful, and he asked the right questions to help us create a GREAT experience. Sam was not only easy to work with - he is fun to work with too. Athletic, emergency medical training, a joyful/ focused attitude... Hired! Day of he was EXTREMELY professional and a pleasure to have around. We switched locations and he surprised us with snacks for the hike and a bottle of champagne to celebrate! All in all I recommend Sam to ANY COUPLE as I believe he has the ability to make ANY elopement a special one. Videograhpy is probably the most important and meaningful wedding keepsake you could have, right there with your photos, and Sam handles both with extreme care, skill, passion, and excitement. If you want your videographer / photographer to treat you like you are the only couple in the world, that yours is the most important wedding to ever happen, Sam is your guy. He was our videographer for our traditional wedding, but he still made every part of the day feel like an adventure. He is the kindest, most generous guy, who truly cares about you as a couple. It matters so much to him that your personalities are captured and you are thrilled with his work, and man let me tell you, we were. He did a BEAUTIFUL JOB. Do yourself a favor and just look at his work, it speaks for itself. On top of the actual quality of his stuff, I can't imagine anyone us filming us all day long being able to make us smile and laugh as much as he and his team did. We are extremely fortunate to have found and hired him.

The photos look straight out of a magazine and even better than the photos on my wedding dream board. I urge you to look at Sams portfolio not for his sake, but for yours. You couldn’t possibly find a better quality photographer than him. Did you look? Great. Now that you’ve seen for yourself how insane his photographer skills are, I don’t need to convince you. Instead, I’ll brag about how amazing it was to work with Sam as more than just someone who produces photos. When you are doing hours or even days of photo shoots, do you want someone who you feel uncomfortable around? Someone who feels very ‘commercial’ and not genuine? Someone who just takes pictures and doesn’t help you pose or feel confident/amazing during the process? Because we saw a LOT of that with other couples & elopement photographers on our trip. That is the exact OPPOSITE of Sam. We had a group of about 20 people & Sam fit in so quickly, we forgot he was even there! He was laughing & striking up conversations with the groomsmen, playing with my little brothers, & taking amazing couples portraits of our parents so they also had keepsakes. That is unheard of in a photographer. To top it off, Sam takes all the stress out of planning. He identifies locations, maps out timelines, brings equipment to communicate with multiple parties of the elopement for coordination. If you are a crazy planner like I am & think you have it all covered, you will be even more blessed & thankful to work with Sam. I had planned out the elopement, the location, the timeline and all. I got to Yosemite, scoped out the sight & thought I was good to go. Then Sam sent me photos of crazy unbeatable views that definitely weren’t from the site I chose. They were 10x better & more accessible for our wedding party. The morning of my sunrise wedding, everyone was running late...like 35 minutes late & I was terrified that I would have to go coordinate my OWN wedding in my WEDDING DRESS while the groom and every sees me, completely ruining the surprise and magic of a wedding. Uh-uh. We get there, Sam is on walkie-talkies, the whole party is set-up, the groom is turned so he doesn’t see me, and it looks like the site and party had been prepared for hours before when in reality we were wayyy behind the timeline. Just imagine the amount of coordination that the wedding planner from “Bride Wars” had to go through to do both Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson’s wedding AT THE SAME TIME at the Plaza....that was Sam but he was also photographing the wedding....while on a mountain....insane. Have I convinced you yet that Sam is going to be the most integral part of your dream elopement? Because i could go on for hours more if needed. My dress cost $100, my bouquet was fake, made by me for about $50, we got crazy cheap airfare, my sister did my hair and makeup, and Sam’s photography somehow made me look like a Scarlett Johansson vanity fair shoot. If you spend money on anything to make your wedding look like a million bucks, it is Sams photography skills. He plans, coordinates, finds all the secret spots, rally’s the troops and prevents any family drama, takes expert level photos even if you are in a garbage bag, brings a speaker for music, and above all is a blast to hangout with. What else do you even need for an elopement? He does it all. He will photograph us for every major event and our children’s events too because that is how much we love Sam as a person and photographer. Don’t even debate it, just book him.

Thank you! The only thing I can say about Fearless Elopement is Thank you! For months of planning a wedding trying to find the perfect vendors, worrying about budget; is it worth the money? will the videographers get in the way or do the day justice? It was a relief to find Sam and his team. Considering the constantly changing plans due to a global pandemic, Sam always made sure to make himself available to put my mind at ease that he will do whatever he could to make the day perfect. His quality of footage and editing style was more that I could have dreamed of having! I'm talking Hollywood quality for wedding films. I think the cherry on top of it all is we now have the ability to share our day with our friends and family that weren't able to attend due to COVID. If you're even considering a videographer, stop looking, you found your team right here!10000% worth the investment. Honestly can not recommend this team enough.

If you are even slightly considering eloping but have your doubts, I would 100% recommend talking to Sam. We planned a regular wedding that COVID ruined and I have to say from the beginning of planning our adventure elopement with Sam it felt more personal and enjoyable than any of the venues we had visited and ultimately the one we had chosen previously. His pictures speak for themselves but the work behind the camera is also extraordinary. He got to know us so well he was the one that planned the perfect day for our personalities, helped us choose a location knowing we loved hiking and being near water, brought a pour over set knowing we enjoy a hot cup of coffee more than anything, even played music we liked during the hike, because he had taken the time to really discuss what we like and what makes us who we are. Having planned both a regular wedding, and ultimately the adventure elopement of our dreams, we can say the care that Sam took for us had no comparison to every pushy salesperson we met at wedding venues. In a time where the wedding industry has turned distant and extremely expensive, Sam made it enjoyable, affordable, and helped us plan a day we enjoyed every second of.

If you want your wedding to be next level, then hire Sam ASAP! I couldn’t begin to recommend him more. Our wedding was cancelled 3 times due to the pandemic, so we decided to elope to Lake Geneva. We hired Sam as our videographer and it was the best decision I ever made, next to choosing my groom of course. Not only did he spend the day with us, he helped me plan the elopement in 2 weeks to make it absolutely perfect. He helped me with making a schedule for the day, made our dinner plans, even brought Christmas lights to string in our villa to have special lighting for dinner. I wouldn’t even want the original wedding we planned in Turks and Caicos because Sam made everything so perfect. I can’t tell you how many complements we have gotten on the trailer video, we don’t even have the full video yet! My new husband and I are pretty shy in front of a camera, but Sam captured the love between us and made us look so comfortable in the spot light. He also brought a photographer with him, so I didn’t have to worry about coordinating a photographer and videographer to work together. We eloped just the two of us, so it was important for me to have a video to show my family and friends since no one was there. Every person that we have showed the trailer to has cried and said how perfect everything looked. Especially if you are considering an elopement... you need to hire Sam!

Absolutely phenomenal...couldn’t recommend more if I tried. Sam took engagement photos of my fiancé and I and not only are the photos incredible, he was so down to earth, easy, and fun to work with. It wasn’t just a pose here or do this, it was “what’s your song together? I want you to dance together and tell each other your first impressions of each other” and “I know you’re hungry, pretend his ear is food and attack it”. We couldn’t stop laughing and smiling the entire time together! It felt genuine and natural and I don’t think you can ask anything more from a photographer. I am an instagram snob myself and so I am extremely critical of most wedding or engagement photographers. Sam’s work and quality of photos is next level. To sum it up, not only are we thrilled with these photos, but my sister is now looking to hire him as her wedding photographer and so are we once we settle on our date! Book, book, book. You won’t regret it.
