Absolutely top-notch venue and professional staff from start to finish. They were immensely helpful, flexible, and open to try new things, along with guiding us to make the best decisions about every detail. They were a delight to work with and the venue is just stunning. We had the reception at the Garden Terrace and it was transformed into a fairytale setting. Both the wedding coordinator and the floral designer are such lovely people - they did everything possible to make the wedding what we wanted and not what they wanted to do. I highly recommend Fearrington Village. Everything else in the village is run in the same way - customer service is tops!

Fearrington’s beauty, elegance, timelessness, and charm sweeps you off your feet the second you turn in. It’s hard to quickly put into words just how much Fearrington did for us. To start, Gilda and her team went above and beyond all of our expectations. From the magical ceremony on the steps of the garden to the flower arrangements Bet created, to the gorgeous and tasty cake Katherine designed and baked, to the stunning plated meals. Brian tackle all of our seating chart changes, even the one minutes before, like the pro he is. Every recommendation Gilda made was impeccable. From Krystal Kast who we adore to John Oliver our chaplain, to Arioso Strings who played throughout the ceremony and cocktail hour. I truly wish I could hit rewind and marry Omar at Fearrington a hundred times over. Our original plan was to have a “small” 150 person wedding until an unplanned global pandemic hit. Plans changed, and Gilda was there ready to not only take on any challenge we faced but to knock each of them out of the park. Gilda and her team cultivated our unbelievably special weekend so responsibly, keeping our guests safe, while allowing us to forget what was happening around the country for a moment to enjoy our new chapter. My daughter and her fiancé planned a church wedding and reception for 200 in the Fearrington Barn. As Covid restrictions continued into the summer, they had to adjust their plans. Gilda McDaniel was calm, confident and invaluable as they made new plans. We moved everything outdoors, planned a new ceremony in the Fearrington Gardens, and two separate outdoor dinners for immediate family and the wedding party. Fearrington Village has numerous beautiful spots for photos, cocktails, and gatherings which allowed for safe social distancing, but still felt magical and special. The whole weekend was so fun, beautiful and perfect, that I cannot imagine their wedding any other way. Gilda thinks of everything and seems to be in multiple places all at the same time. Bett Foley and her team created the most beautiful floral arrangements. The food was amazing and every staff member was incredibly helpful and professional. My advice is to stay on the property, reserve the Grand Suite for the bride (it is amazing), trust Gilda and the Fearrington team, and relax knowing that everything will be done to perfection!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Fearrington. Every part of the village feels like a fairytale, it's full of life and color. The Fearrington team is absolutely OUTSTANDING, they truly have it down to a science. Gilda, Fearrington's event planner, is a machine. I've never seen one human manage to be in so many places at once. She is all business but cool, calm and collected at the same time. Fearrington takes care of just about everything which makes the planning process so much easier - from flowers, to cake, to food and drink. My guests raved that it was the best reception food they've had by a long shot. Fearrington really made my fairytale wedding come true and they were lovely to work with the entire way. I'll be making trips back for years to come, it is such a special place!

Working with the Fearrington was an absolute DREAM. Not only is the venue itself gorgeous, every single person that we worked with went above and beyond to make our day special. Gilda is a MAGICIAN when it comes to wedding planning. My husband and I joked that we never saw her the day of the wedding, except when we needed her, and she just popped up at the right time. The cake was the best dessert I've ever tasted, the flowers were beautiful, and the FOOD WAS THE BEST WEDDING FOOD EVER. So many of our guests have raved about the food. If you are lucky enough to snag a date at the Fearrington, please... do so. And stay on property. I cannot wait to come back and celebrate our anniversaries at the Inn!

We had an amazing experience working with the Fearrington and with Gilda, their amazing event planner. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day, and I would recommend the fearrington to anyone having a wedding or any event whatsoever.

We cannot say enough good things about Fearrington. This venue was STUNNING and it made the entire wedding planning process possible. With Fearrington, we had a full time wedding planner (Gilda - she is clearly the best at her job. We couldn't have done it without her!) as well as catering and flowers. Every interaction with Fearrington was simple, straightforward and extremely high quality. Our wedding was a dream, and it was because of the Fearrington. If it is at all possible, you NEED to have your wedding at Fearrignton!

Fearrington was by far our first choice for wedding venue, and we loved that they could accommodate both our ceremony and reception, making the day itself seamless for the wedding party and guests! We were planning our wedding from abroad, but working with Fearrington's on-site coordinator, Gilda McDaniel, was such a pleasure. She was responsive, straightforward, but also incredibly helpful in guiding us through all of our questions in planning the wedding, sharing her expertise and years of experience. Between the Garden Terrace for the ceremony and Barn for the reception, we were prepared for any type of weather. Even though we had our wedding in the heat of early August, guests loved having the chance to explore the gardens and check out the belties! We were also thrilled with the station setup we chose - the restaurant was able to prepare off-menu options for guests, and is generally well-known in the area for its top-notch food. We are still receiving compliments from our guests. Finally, the staff was incredibly helpful - Fearrington provided the cake and flowers, both of which helped make our wedding the amazing day it was! I would wholeheartedly recommend the venue and only wish the day hadn't flown by as quickly as it did.

Gilda at Fearrington was absolutely amazing. There was never a glitch or stress moment in the planning process at all. I described my perfect wedding to her, and it was exactly what I received. From the planning, to the tables at the reception, to the fireplace behind us at the ceremony, to the day of getting ready. Everything was so easy. Fearrington is such a cozy environment, and the barn is absolutely stunning! Our wedding was over a month ago and people are still raving about how perfect everything was and to do it again! I am SO happy with my choice and couldn't imagine my wedding anywhere else!!!

If you dream it, Fearrington can do it (and get it done better than you imagined). I’m still in awe and how worry and stress free the experience was. From start to finish, Gilda is there to show you the venue and guide you to make the most memorable day of your life easy. She knows her stuff. The food is amazing. The cakes are beautiful. The florals are idyllic. The venue itself is immaculate. Every decision is essentially in house which makes everything seamless but what isn’t covered by Fearrington (music, transportation, photography, videography etc.) can be accomplished through suggested vendors or on your own accord. You have the autonomy to make your own decisions. My one piece of advice: listen to Gilda’s suggestions. She knows that venue like the back of her hand. If she mentions something may be best- she’s probably right (at least that’s how we felt). I wish I could relive it all because it was just so wonderful.

GILDA McDANIEL (Coordinator) My wife and I had the privilege of working with Gilda McDaniel to coordinate our wedding in April at the Fearrington. While we had heard nothing but rave reviews, Gilda far exceeded our expectations. Gilda had the knowledge, commitment, organization, innovative thinking, creativity and communication skills to take our vision and turn it into a reality. Gilda not only cared about what we wanted our dream wedding to look like, but she also truly cared about Lauren and I as a couple. She did an incredible job balancing between supportive advice and execution. Our wedding day would not have turned out to be the best day of our lives without Gilda. What we feel most fortunate for, however, is knowing that we have a new friend in our lives. Gilda sets the standard for wedding coordinators and we would refer her to anyone looking to have a seamless wedding at the Fearrington.

Fearrington is a picture perfect venue for a wedding: numerous lovely lawns to choose from for a romantic garden ceremony, an equally lovely covered terrace in the event of rain, a spacious and attractive venue for receptions, replete with a lovely courtyard for outdoor cocktails, fantastic food, and a talented in-house florist, baker, and sommelier to expertly handle so many of the details. But the one greatest asset of Fearrington, bar none, goes by the name of Gilda McDaniel. Wedding coordinator extraordinaire, Gilda has a depth of experience rarely seen in this business. Her wisdom is outdone only by her patience, Zen calm, warmth, and professionalism. She makes a Fearrington wedding worth every penny. From our experience, Gilda can handle with aplomb just about any situation, and can provide free and reasonable advice on all aspects of the affair.

Fearrington Village is truly the perfect wedding venue! We chose Fearrington because we knew we could trust them to do a great job, and they did not disappoint. We appreciated the attention to detail, and Gilda really helped us organize the day and offered great suggestions. She was prepared for everything. The flowers were beautiful and the food/cake was delicious! We got so many compliments from guests about the quality of the food and how beautiful Fearrington is. I cannot say enough good things about getting married at the Fearrington. The staff made every effort to make sure our special day was perfect. from the nitty gritty details to the big things, every single thing the Fearrington touched went off without a hitch! Our guests couldn't stop talking about the delicious food - the Fearrington offers a number of options - we went with the food stations and loved the variety it gave us. Mary, the florist, was incredibly kind, generous and did incredible work. She went out of her way to help us with things she didn't have to help us with. Gilda, our wedding coordinator, was professional, organized and thoughtful. She helped us think of things that we would never have thought of that made our day even more special. We are so grateful to this team for the hours of endless work they put toward our wedding - on a holiday, nonetheless! Thank you, Fearrington for everything. Fearrington is amazing. From start to finish, they take care of almost everything. While the venue is perhaps slightly (but not much) more expensive than average, they take complete care of you. Fearrington handles food, flowers, cake, alcohol, and so many other tiny details you don't think about when you first start planning your wedding. And you can rest in confidence that all of those details will be absolute perfection. We booked Fearrington because I already knew their reputation (I work in the wine biz) as the best in the business for food/wine and they absolutely lived up to their reputation for weddings as well. As great as the whole venue is, the most amazing part of our wedding came down to one incredible woman: Gilda McDaniel, the head wedding coordinator for Fearrington. Our photographer, who shoots many weddings in the area and at Fearrington, told us that Gilda is the only wedding planner she knows who absolutely loves every single wedding she coordinates, and is the only planner who actually stays until the end, handling and managing each wedding from start to complete finish. Gilda certainly did so for our wedding. Fearrington does many weddings, and they have the process down to a tee, professionally. But they are the opposite of a wedding factory. Every single wedding is incredibly special to them, and we felt that in spades. We felt very special and honored because we really were very special and honored. I don't think you could say that about most wedding venues. They also accommodated some special requests that were certainly unusual. And they did so happily. If you are considering getting married at Fearrington, do it. You won't regret it.

Every single guest at our wedding has commented on how gorgeous our ceremony and reception was, every single member of our bridal party has commented on how awesome and helpful the staff was, and we cannot even summarize our list of why Fearrington was awesome to fit on a page, but we will try. 1. It is gorgeous. Just seriously gorgeous. 2. It's a one stop shop where you can get ready, take pictures, have a ceremony, enjoy cocktail hour, and have a great reception without hiring a limo or a bus and having to worry about traffic. 3. The staff, from the planners like Gilda, Mary, and Caitlin, to the Inn staff, to the bartenders, were funny, friendly, and helpful. They took care of everything (even our dogs!). 4. Our dogs could be in the ceremony and stay in our room. 5. The food was incredible. 6. Planning was easy and we got every, single thing we wanted. 7. Beautiful back up ceremony site if there's rain (which we didn't need, but would have been totally fine if we did!). 8. You are a special, unique bride, but the staff does enough weddings that they know how to support you. 9. Did I mention it is gorgeous and the staff is just incredible?

Our daughter and son-in-law had their reception at Fearrington inside the Barn in October 2016 and it was spectacular! We wouldn't have changed a thing. Gilda, Mary and all the staff there are the most professional, friendly, helpful and caring staff anyone could ask for on such a special day. Every time we visited there, they all made us feel so welcome and were so accommodating to our needs. They made our daughter's day truly magical! We didn't have to worry about anything and the whole day was absolutely flawless. Our friends and family can't stop talking about the superb food, wine, cake, flowers and how beautiful it was decorated. We absolutely love Fearrington and highly recommend this venue for a spectacular wedding and reception!

We were thrilled with our decision to hold our wedding reception in the Barn at Fearrington. The food was delicious and we had several options for stations, plated, buffet, etc. We loved how the cake tasting was done and all the flavors were delicious. The floral designs by Mary were simply exquisite. I don't believe I've ever seen flowers so beautiful and numerous guests have written or called me to say the same thing. Mary and our planner, Kast Events, and other vendors Get Lit Lighting, Party Tables, CE Rentals, Greenhouse Pickers, and Cottage Luxe turned the barn into a show place that made us all teary when we saw it. I spent the night at the Inn the night before the wedding and the Fearrington team made sure the bridal party had sandwiches, water, and what we needed as we prepared for the wedding. Fearrington was the right decision for us.

Fearrington Village is one of the more charming places in the southeast so it's hard to have a bad looking wedding here but it's the Fearrington staff that make this place truly exceptional. Starting with Gilda McDaniel, the wedding planner - she's smart, artistic and supremely capable. We felt like we were in total pro hands the whole time - she got our somewhat non-traditional vision and executed seamlessly while providing guidance when we needed it. She coordinated our vendors, came up with a super creative bustle for my somewhat unwieldy dress and came up to Matt and I and said " there's an unbelievable full moon out there - want to sneak out for a quick photo op?" She was there when you needed her and executing behind the scenes when you didn't inspiring full confidence and taking any stress we may have had out of the evening. Mary Stevens is a true artist when it comes to flowers, greenery and design. We wanted minimalist glam with lots of fresh greens, ivory flowers and candlelight. The Fearrington Barn looked magical - we had towering column birch branch and hydrangea arrangements draped in tea light candles. She cut down fresh stumps and topped with candles to adorn the fireplace in the ceremony room and put together the most beautiful magnolia leaf draping across the mantle. It was stunning. Finally, the food served in the venue by Chef Colin Bedford is the same level of quality as the Fearrington House restaurant which is unbelievable for wedding food. We heard from a significant portion of our guests that it was the best wedding food they've ever tasted. Literally the one regret I have from my wedding was not eating more of the food! Too much dancing and talking to do! This place is magical - I would highly recommend the Fearrington as a wedding venue.

Our daughter was married at Fearrington on 3/4/17 and words cannot describe what a wonderful experience it was from start to finish!! Gilda is a true gem that managed to handle anything and everything with calm, humor and grace! She was hands on making sure everything was perfect from the Friday night rehearsal to the ceremony prep Saturday morning to the last guest out of the reception Saturday night to the monitoring and collecting of left over wedding "stuff" Sunday morning!! She was in constant contact with us through out the whole planning process and that was so very very comforting! Fearrington also provides a preferred vendor list which was so very helpful! We chose our photographer(Krystal Kast), hair and makeup(onLoKtionMakeupArtistry/Pam Hung) and transportation(EcoStyle Transportation) off their list and had stellar service from all three!! Fearrington handled everything else!!...reception food/bar, flowers, cake, lighting, table/chairs, bridal suite, bridesmaids/groomsmen changing areas with room service...and of course, THE most perfectly beautiful settings around their grounds for any size and vibe of wedding be it inside or out...with our early March date..they were ready with an indoor/outdoor plan depending on the weather and we were able to make that decision on the Friday morning before the wedding!! The entire staff experience at Fearrington was on point! The cake, food, bar and set up were all stunning and top notch and the entire service staff were so very warm and professional at all times. I would highly recommend this venue as there is nothing to chance, it's all right there and you have wonderfully calming planning help and you just know it will be perfect! Our wedding at Fearrington could not possibly have been more perfect. Gilda and her entire team were extremely professional and so helpful throughout the planning period. Gilda was so easy to work with in the year leading up to our wedding, responding quickly to even my most basic one liner email questions. On the day of, I did not have a stress in the world. Gilda had everything in line and the entire day went off without a hiccup. My flowers arrived on time and were stunning. Mary is so skilled at what she does. Our guests loved our wedding as well. We received so many compliments, especially about the food. As the bride, I did not have as much time as everyone else to taste all the different stations, but I heard rave reviews about several of the dishes. All in all, if you want a beautiful fairy tale, stress free, and FUN wedding, the Fearrington is your spot.

Our wedding at Fearrington was a dream. We got married this weekend, in the middle of Hurricane Matthew. It poured the entire day, but the Fearrington staff did not let several inches of rain ruin our experience. I have never met a harder working, happier group of people. They made our day truly magical - perfect in fact. There is no length that they did not go to make it a perfect day for us. We completely redesigned the ceremony to deal with the rain, and even though it was indoors, it was STUNNING. The reception in the barn was also to die for. Everything from the food, the cake, the acoustics, and oh my - the flowers! - was perfection. Gilda McDaniel helped us with our wedding, and we owe so much to her. She worked harder than I ever dreamed and truly went above and beyond. Any time I thought of something I needed, she was ten steps ahead of me. It all went so smoothly, I could not have asked for anything more. Dozens of guests told us it was the best wedding they've been to - a direct product of Fearrington. If you are thinking of having a wedding there, do it! We love Fearrington.

We were married on 8/27/16 and had our reception at the barn at Fearrington (ceremony at church). We could not have asked for a more beautiful or perfect place to celebrate our marriage. Gilda made everything as easy as possible and took a lot of pressure off of us for the small details. Mary did all of the flowers for the ceremony and reception and I could not have asked for more beautiful arrangements. She chose flowers that were appropriate for the season in colors I requested but uses her own creativity to make them more perfect than I could have requested! Paola did our cake and we savored each layer (except the top!). The food was outstanding and we continue to hear from friends and family how much they enjoyed the food and ambience. Despite a downpour between the cocktail hour and reception start, staff at the barn welcomed guests inside in advance of the rain and quickly adapted to the situation. They sent umbrellas to our wedding party and helped us get to the barn without getting wet! We still managed to get outdoor photos in the beautiful gardens and were then welcomed into the barn, which was like a fairy tale. We stayed at the Inn after the wedding and could not have asked for a more opulent room. We were greeted with champagne and a slice of each layer of our cake and some snacks. The room was the nicest we have ever experienced and would highly recommend their 5-star inn to others. We will cherish the memories of this day forever and are immensely grateful to everyone at Fearrington who helped make our day so special.

It is the rare wedding that goes off without a hitch, but Fearrington made it happen. My husband and I could not be happier with how the day went. Fearrington was not the cheapest place we looked at, but they took care of literally everything but the musicians and the photographer, and it was worth every penny. Thank you so much to Gilda, Mary, and Paola...you truly are a dream team!

I cant say enough about how wonderful our wedding ceremony and reception were at The Fearrington! Gilda and her team are wonderful and everything goes smoothly due to their professionalism and experience. I was honestly shocked to see that I was able to do everything I wanted to and stay within my budget. The flowers and food were amazing too! Everything went according to the plan we had and I didn't have to deal with any vendors or questions the day of my wedding because they take care of everything for you. All of our guests told us the ceremony space and barn were so beautiful and unique. This was definitely my dream venue and it was a dream come true! You will not regret booking The Fearrington!

I could go on, and on, and on about Fearrington Village. The venue is perfect for various types of weddings. The wedding coordinators Gilda and Cheryl-Anne are top-notch and are constantly handling things with ease and at a quick pace. My friends could not believe how little I stressed over my wedding! My wedding day was by far the best day of mine and my husband's life. We were treated like royalty and everything was flawless! You can't go wrong with this 5-star resort that provides a top-rated menu, wedding cakes, open bar, decor, flowers and wedding coordination! Fearrington Village was absolutely perfect and I would recommend it to everyone!

We had our wedding at Fearrington Village in May and the event could not have been more beautiful! We had gorgeous weather, so the ceremony took place in the gardens under crab apple trees. It was beautiful and provided shade, so that our guests were comfortable. The Fearrington gardens are stunning in May and with the fountain and beautiful flowers, it offered a serene and romantic atmosphere. Our reception was held in the Garden Terrace and we had use of the cobblestone patio for our cocktail hour. Honestly, this place is one of a kind and we were all happy that this was the selected location. Included in the venue are the catering by the Fearrington House Restaurant, the florist, the cake baker, and the wedding planner. Each individual was wonderful to work with and made our wedding extra special. Cheryl-Anne Kast was our wonderful wedding planner! Since this was the first wedding in our immediate families, she offered wonderful suggestions and lent her expertise many, many times! She was a calming, organized, and positive person to have plan our event. She was extremely responsive to emails and really took our vision and made it come to life. She used all the details I had made for the ceremony and reception and ran with it. The event turned out one million times better than I could have ever imagined. During the event, she was easy to find and very helpful. Mary Stevens was the florist who worked with us at Fearrington. She is not only the sweetest person on Earth, but a phenomenal florist who took our vision of colors and created the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces I have ever seen. Not only did my photographer and makeup artist comment that the flowers were possibly the most beautiful arrangement they’ve ever seen, but our family and friends commented on the centerpieces at the reception. Mary was conscious of cost and really worked to make gorgeous arrangements that still fit in our budget. Mary truly made our event a stunning one and I am so grateful for her! Our cake was delicious! Emma Isakoff created a three-tiered cake that was incredible. She even worked with Mary Stevens to make the cake beautiful. We had carrot cake with cream cheese buttercream filling for the top tier, coconut cake with dark chocolate ganache as the middle tier, and vanilla cake (gluten free, but even our guests couldn’t tell!) with strawberry jam and cream cheese buttercream filling. We can’t wait to eat her cake again in the future and plan on having her recreate one of the tiers for our first anniversary! We had full use of the grounds on the day of the wedding and our bridal suite was magnificent! Our guests have not stopped commenting on how beautiful this place was. We are so grateful that we chose Fearrington Village for our wedding location! My only complaint is that when Cheryl-Anne left for the night, the catering manager who took over for her was not as helpful. He was frequently absent and there were quite a few bumps in the road. For example, I often had to look for someone else to help me look for the sparklers for the exit, my bouquet to toss, and we never ended up getting cake slices saved. He also did not organize the clean up process, which left my family confused. However, this was in no way Cheryl-Anne's fault, she was truly great!

We stayed at the Fearrington House on our wedding night before heading to Asheville for our honeymoon and it was fabulous! Definitely worth doing once in a while to pamper yourself. The accommodations were wonderful, they gave us a complimentary upgrade because it was our honeymoon, and the food was amazing. Dinner was delicious (pricey though), but the complimentary breakfast really was incredible. I would definitely do this again. Maybe for our anniversary...

As a gluten free bride, I was thrilled at the options available not only for myself, but also for our bridal party, which had many nut, shellfish, gluten, and other allergies. We also had a vegan bridesmaid and Chef Colin was quick to not only offer gluten free options, but to create an entire brunch reception menu that was gluten free (and allergen free!) including breads! Our guests raved that they had never tasted such delicious food at a wedding and we loved every bite of the food we tasted! We would highly recommend the Fearrington for anyone, allergy or not! We just had our daughter's wedding and reception at The Fearrington and it couldn't have been better! Everyone we worked with was so professional and experienced. They took care of the venue, food, cake, flowers and any detail you can think of. Any services they don't supply, they have a list of suggestions. All those vendors were pleased to work with The Fearrington. We used the spa, too, which was terrific! Everything was wonderful and the guests couldn't stop talking about the food! It's not inexpensive, but we really felt we got our money's worth.

I worked with Cheryl Ann Cast. She was very professional and she is the one who will get all the behind the scenes work done for you. Her job is to make sure the day flows effortlessly for the bride and groom. She did an outstanding job at my wedding. I planned my entire NC wedding from another state and Cheryl Ann kept me right on target with planning and took care of all the details. She is capable of creating a lovely event within any constraints.

My husband and I stayed here right after the wedding was over. The room was incredible, the service was great, and the food was outstanding. My husband and I hope to go back for our anniversary every year!

I can honestly say you won't go wrong if you choose Fearrington for your wedding. They take care of everything; catering, cake, flowers and directing. Gilda, Mary and Jill are wonderful to work with. They are all very professional and caring. The grounds are very well kept; it's such a beautiful venue. Our guests keep talking about how good the food was. The cake was beautiful and tasted great too!

We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was fantastic! The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and courteous, and the location is beautiful. The only reason I gave it four rather than five stars is because we waited rather a long time for each course, and I thought it was a little excessive given that we'd preset the menu. We had a really fantastic time, though!

The Fearrington grounds and service speaks for themselves... this place was absolutely fabulous and the staff was easy and friendly to work with. No headaches, no mishaps (and if there was, I didn't hear of them!). The Fearrington catered and provided all food and beverages...The food was amazing! We are still hearing rave reviews from our guests. The cake was just what I had hoped for. We ended up making a weekend getaway out of it...had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at the Fearrington! If I had to do it all over, I wouldn't have changed a thing :)

We had our wedding here the end of April. Gilda McDaniel, their wedding planner, did an OUTSTANDING job thru the whole process...and i was arranging everythnig from out of town. Beautiful venue, fabulous food. Exceptional sevice.

This was the perfect place for a garden setting wedding. They brought a fairy tale to life for my husband and I! The flowers, food, drink and service was top notch. We learned that this is the only 5 Diamond Hotel AND restaurant in NC. We can see why now! They include almost everything you need for your wedding day dream come true!

I had my reception at Fearrington Village and it was absolutely perfect. The wedding coordinator did a fantastic job and took all of the stress away. The facility provides a fantastic florist and cake designer. The inn itself although a bit pricey is well worth the money. The food is exceptional which is evident by all the awards it's restaurant have received. Overall, this is an excellent wedding venue and I would recommend it to anyone!

Everything was perfect at Fearrington. The staff was so professiona friendly and in tune to everything that was going on. They went above and beyond our expectations. The setting was goregeous. We were married in an outdoor garden then moved to a beautiful structured terrace that had a huge fireplace that overlooked belted galloway cows. Finally our ceremony was in a barn that was decorated elegantly yet very classic. The food was outstanding. We had a big wine and food affliations at our wedding and they rated the food top notch. It is hard to serve 170 a sit down dinner that consisted of fish and filet yet everythign was cooked perfectly. I can not rate Fearrington high enough. I have not ONE compliant from the entire evening! I highly recommend them.

We loved the location and the food.;Regarding the Fearrington, the wedding coordinator did not pay attention to details, and it was very frustrating and disappointing. More important, the A/C did not work and they did not have a back-up plan for a wedding in mid-June. Needless to say, we expected more out of a 5 star location.

My reception venue was actually in a classy historic barn. It was decorated very 'elegantly rustic' and everyone thought it was beautiful.

I loved that the staff was so helpful the atmosphere was a perfect mix of old country barn and modern tones. The food was phenomenal and the views were breathtaking.

The ambiance.;The split levels made it difficult to see/talk to all of our guests.

The natural setting - there were gardens all around and decorations were hardly needed. The sheltered area was wonderful - provided shade and seating but was still open to the sunshine. The event planner is wonderful and just incredibly capable. The set-up is very nice and allows for easy mingling.;We were lucky to get nice weather but for a party over 50 people the rain option (for a daytime ceremony) is not great.

Fearrington handled really everything they were so easy to work with and it was worth every penny!

The tent was provided and it was lined with silk, fans, and lights. The brick patio with tables scattered across the lawn was perfect. The view across the grounds and gardens is gorgeous. The provided coordinator took care of every detail and ensured everything went smoothly.;The buffet was set out in a gravel area which was hard on shoes and there were large decorative rocks over which several guests tripped and suffered minor injuries.
