redible organizational skills kept everything moving smoothly, and they managed all the vendors flawlessly. On our wedding day, we felt completely at ease knowing Melissa was handling every detail, allowing us to fully enjoy the moment without a single worry. I honestly can't recommend Melissa enough. Not only is she an amazing wedding planner, but she's also a great friend who knows me and Dakota so well. She made the whole planning pr...
ocess feel personal and stress-free, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—especially considering we pulled this whole thing off in less than 6 months!
From the very beginning, Melissa really took the time to understand what we wanted, and it was so much more than just a typical wedding. She brought ideas to the table that we never would’ve thought of, but once she did, we couldn’t imagine not having them.
What really made our wedding stand out, though, was how she made everything feel so *us*. She mixed in creative, non-traditional elements with personal touches that made the day feel unique and special. There were so many moments that just felt like they were pulled straight from our love story.
On top of all that, she was such a calming, supportive presence throughout the whole process. She knew exactly when to step in with a solution and when to let us enjoy the ride. If you want a planner who will give you a wedding that’s as unique and meaningful as your relationship, Melissa is your person.
Thanks to her, our wedding was absolutely perfect—fun, full of love, and something we’ll never forget.

er two daughters’ weddings. Such a joy to work with and completely handled all emergencies so none of us had to worry about any of them. It really felt like a collaborative effort all around. It only took minutes on the day of the wedding to know that "she has this". 100% recommended.
Melissa & Mike Blackheart were amazing! They made our wedding the most fun, smoothest, headache-free day. I will suggest feather and lace for any friends and family.

ssly to ensure that everyone was on the same page for a smooth wedding day. This really helped to relieve a lot of stress for us! Her communication with us was excellent, and she also went above-and-beyond to understand and match the vibe/theme that we were trying to achieve at our wedding! On the day of our wedding, Melissa and Mike perfectly coordinated everyone, despite us having multiple groups of people at multiple different locations throughout the day. The whole wedding day went off without a hitch, and we were able to fully enjoy the events of the day while Melissa and Mike made sure everything ran silky-smooth! We give Feather and Lace Weddings our highest recommendation possible for any wedding!

ly perfect! Melissa herded us to our obligations with an amazing attitude and a smile on her face! It was such a long day for them setting up everything, chasing us around (and we were ALL OVER THE PLACE - sorry Melissa), cleaning up at the end of the night and they were amazing the entire time.
