We hired F&F to make our wedding cake + desserts for our wedding this past weekend. Not only was our cake absolutely gorgeous and unique, it also tasted amazing. GF cake can be a m...
iss, but you wouldn't have even known it was gluten free! Danae also made us cookies and cake pops that were both adorable and delicious. Everyone was commenting on the desserts! Thank you Danae!!
We ordered mini strawberry pop tarts that were individually wrapped to give away as party favors at my daughters wedding. They were delicious, pretty, and a cute thank you to our ...

The cake was beyond perfect. The cake was not only delicious but gorgeous. Feathers and Frosting nailed exactly what I was asking for and it made our wedding day even sweeter. Than...
k you guys! I highly recommend using Feathers and Frosting for all your cake needs.
Genuinely some of the best cakes we have ever eaten. For our wedding, we chose to do individual cake bites instead of a huge wedding cake. We got two flavors: cajeta churro and ear...
l grey, and everyone raved about them. They were moist, flavorful, and not obnoxiously sweet like some cakes. You eat these, and you can just tell that they’re special, you know? My bartender, who has done tons of events, said those might have been the best cakes she’s tried from any wedding.
Their storefront in Jonestown, TX (just northwest of Austin proper) is super cute. They make good coffee, it smells amazing in there, and they have some cute merch. I’d recommend them to anyone.
Incredible! As a GF/DF (allergies) bride, it was important for me to find a bakery that could accommodate my allergies and make delicious desserts. I also live in NYC but was hosti...
ng my wedding in Austin. Our planner recommended F&F to us and we set up a tasting a few months before our wedding while we were in town. I think we tasted like 6 different GF/DF mini cakes- it was so good I still dream about it! We couldn't choose between all the amazing flavors so we decided to go with a really small wedding cake and a ton of mini desserts which were all a hit! We completely over ordered because we knew the guests would love dessert but there was NOTHING left at the end of the night. Ashley at F&F also made the cake design process so so easy and sent me specific instructions on what to order because we used a dog topper (from etsy) to include our pup in the design. Will be visiting all the time when we are in Austin! If you have allergies and want something truly delicious, look no further (we tried 3 other companies!).
Okay, so I didn't even care about wedding cakes until I saw the cakes that Feathers & Frosting makes! I went from wanting none to having three! Denaë's cakes are true art - we want...
ed our cakes to resemble textiles and go with the bohemian colorful vibe of our wedding and they were perfect. On top of that Denaë is a gem of a human and I will continue to support her and her small business forever!
I got my grooms cookies through them and they were a hit!! We froze some and enjoyed some when we returned from our honeymoon. Truly some of the most delicious cookies you’ll have!...

o others. Only regret is that we didn't have a conversation about the process to save the top tier of the cake for our first anniversary - I sincerely regret this since there was more than enough and I didn't get to taste my own wedding cake but it is too late now.
F&F made all our cake dreams came true! After brainstorming with them about our cake design they delivered us the perfect wedding cake. We also had some of their cake bites for gue...
sts which everyone loved because they were also able to take them home with them. Sometimes wedding cakes are pretty to look at but super dry and this was NOT the case with F&F, our cake was absolutely delicious!
F&F was just a delight to work with for our wedding. They were so responsive and accommodating, allowing us to have two different in-person tastings. They even offer take-home tast...
ings as well. Their flavors are so unique, and designs are just incredible. No request or vision is off-limits for them! Highly recommend!
We LOVE Feathers and Frosting! Danae is so talented and fun to work with. We cared a lot about our dessert and from our first tasting with Danae, we knew we were in good hands. Eve...
ry dessert was delicious and beautifully prepared. Danae listened to our ideas and created unique desserts that fit our vision perfectly. It's hard to find wedding cakes that look great on the outside and are just as wonderful on the inside but Danae delivers just that. Note to future couples - don't skip the brownies, we loved them so much we brought the leftovers on our honeymoon!
We hired feathers + frosting to do our wedding cake and all of our guests RAVED about how delicious it was. Setting up a tasting was easy, and all I had to do was send them my visi...
on for how I wanted the cake decorated and they executed it perfectly! Would highly recommend.
Ashley created the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake for us. I gave a few inspiration pictures and it was absolutely perfect. Cake delivery was smooth and easy. Oh! and the...
cake flavor options are far superior to the other places we had tastings at. Blood orange, churro, and earl grey cake pieces are in my freezer waiting for us to eat next year. I only wish their bakery was closer to where we lived because we would be there all the time.
Ashley is so incredible to work with, she has a great energy that carried through all our correspondence. They were able to do any of their flavors gluten free - and it was so hard...
to choose! It's so hard to find a genuinely good GF cake and they nailed it. The final result was stunning and delicious :) I highly highly recommend working with this amazing small business!!
HIRE FEATHERS AND FROSTING!!! Danae is truly SO talented and her cakes are out of this world delicious! She created a masterpiece cake for our wedding back in November and it was e...
qual parts beautiful and so so yummy. We wanted something refined and elegant on the outside but backed with flavor on the inside, so Danae created a 2-tier white cake with smooth white frosting on the outside, and on the inside she did a raspberry rosé cake studded with juicy fresh raspberries for one tier and a chocolate chip cookie dough brownie cake with cookie dough frosting for the other tier. Truly on another level! We ate all the leftovers the week following our wedding until literally not even a crumb was left. SO good!
Also, Danae went out of her way during our tasting to make sure all my family members were included and that there was plenty of cake to go around which was so kind and hugely appreciated! Danae is such a bubbly warm person and her cakes are true works of art!!!
I can't say enough about Danae from Feathers & Frosting!! She is a sweet muffin of a human, and her cakes and baked goods are absolutely to die for! She is an incredibly talented a...
rtist/designer and her baking is world class. I could honestly eat her treats every single day and I'm surprised she doesn't already have her own show on the food network or something. Step aside, Milk Bar because Danae's cereal milk cake is EVERYTHING. I work in the wedding industry and have tasted literally hundreds of wedding cakes. None have ever tasted or looked as good as Danae's. If you're looking for a baker in the Austin area look no further. Feathers & Frosting is THE best.
Danae created such a beautiful wedding cake for us using some inspiration from our overall theme - it fit in perfectly and tasted fantastic. We plan on ordering a mini version for ...
our anniversary to celebrate!
I contacted Feathers and Frosting FOUR times over a month period because I had decided this was who I needed for our wedding cake. I was fully prepared to spend over budget just to...
have one of these cakes based upon the reviews and beautiful photos. But after once full month I have yet to receive so much as an acknowledgement of my inquiry. It's really disappointing to be so blatantly ignored after multiple, friendly attempts. If I can't even get a response, what should I have expected for our wedding day?
We knew we wanted to hire Danae the second we met her! She was so easy to talk to and down to earth. I loved that Danae allowed us to be creative when picking our cake flavor and t...
ruly centered everything around what we wanted! She made us a smaller two-tier chocolate and peanut butter cake as well as an assortment of smaller desserts for our guests (macarons, mini cheesecakes and cookies). Everything was absolutely delicious!
What do you do when every single cake at your tasting is incredibly delicious? You order 4 cakes...mini eclairs...cookies & shooters. Excessive? Maybe, but I can tell you that w...
e had zero leftovers at our wedding! Danae was a complete joy to work with. She took our inspiration, made it her own & nailed it. Now all I can think about is getting our hands on one of her cakes as soon as possible! Thank you Danae for being so sweet & for making this sweet tooth VERY happy :)
Danae did such a great job at bringing our cake vision to life, both in design and flavor. I discovered her on Instagram and knew she was the type of cake baker I wanted for my wed...
ding. I really appreciate her natural take on wedding cakes - no fake colors, frilly fondant or piping, just gorgeous designs and real (tasty) cake. My only complaint is that the outside frosting on our lemon cake ended up being way sweeter than we would have liked, but the inside was delicious. The Mexican hot chocolate flavor she created for the groom's cake was perfect. Definitely go to Danae if you want something gorgeous and a little out of the box.
Danae bakes the best cake my husband and I have ever eaten. We are legit having withdrawal.
I showed Danae a photo of a cake from an Australian cake baker that gave me wedding ins...
po-vibes and she completely killed it.
If you want a beautiful wedding cake that actually tastes AMAZING... hire Feathers & Frosting.
Not only does Danae make the most gorgeous cakes, they taste amazing. I barely like cake and her creations were a huge hit with me and everyone else at the wedding. I would use her...

Danae is an amazing artist!!

ire and I was wrong- for the craftmanship and beauty of her work, the price was very affordable. Danae made it very easy to figure out what I wanted my cake to look like. Her tasting party was very fun and she let us taste all of her flavors (which are so YUMMY!). She created an illustration of our design and the cake turned out just like the illustration except even more beautiful. I would recommend this cake artist to anyone!!!
