was perfect for the reception. But, unfortunately, the staff were very hard to work with and there were several hidden fees and rules that we weren’t aware of until the very end. We paid way more than we ever agreed on. I was very disappointed in how things were handled and the lack of communication. Although I loved my wedding there, I would not recommend using this venue.

team was wonderful to work with, there was plenty of parking for our guests, it was super convenient having the gorgeous chapel, the lovely outdoor (but covered) cocktail hour patio, and the beautiful reception ballroom all at one location, we got to take wedding photos with the cows (!!!), and everyone commented on how beautiful the wedding was (and we only purchased minimal decorations like centerpieces; the beauty was all from Featherstone's innately exquisite venue)! I keep looking at photos (e.g., pics of my wife and I saying our vows in the outdoor chapel with beautiful stained glass behind us) and reliving that magical day, and I truly cannot picture a more perfect wedding venue than Featherstone Ranch.

Claudyne, along side Class A Rentals, even went above and beyond to purchase additional equipment for us to rent in order for us to have the band's backdrop just the way I envisioned it! They were there every step of the way. Not only were Claudyne and her team great to work with, we had so many compliments on the beauty of the venue itself. The land is beautiful, with open pastures and vineyards from the neighboring winery in the background. The white chapel with stained glass is breathtaking, and everyone was comfortable in the covered space even during ~15-20min of rain prior to ceremony. We also appreciated that Featherstone was animal friendly and allowed our dog to be a part of the ceremony. For the reception, we had 180+ guests attend plus a live band with a stage and there was plenty of room for dancing, conversing, catering, and even a photo booth. The outdoor area was well used for cocktail hour and throughout the reception, with beautifully hung lights providing a romanic ambiance. The large wooden beam outside is very sturdy, we opted to put up 2 boho macrame swings that the kids loved. We also chose to add an additional bar outside which our guests appreciated. The versatility of the spaces at Featherstone is definitely something to be considered if you are planning a TX wedding. Whether it was 100+deg or pouring down rain, there is always an option with this venue. Featherstone Ranch will always hold a special place in our hearts and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a venue in the Fredericksburg or TX Hill Country region!
