Federhofer's made my daughter's wedding cake for 10/28/17. It was beautiful and delicious! The decorating was exactly as we requested. They were very professional and delivered on time to the venue. They left a box for the top tier (for us to freeze for the first anniversary) and we had enough left over cake to enjoy when the happy couple returned from their honeymoon, as well as a bit to freeze to enjoy over the next couple years. Some bakeries use fou-fou creams and flavors which do not stand up over time (which is why they give you a gift certificate for a mini cake on your first anniversary!). Federhofer's cake will be wonderful on their anniversary and beyond! The cake was moist and the frosting was perfect! All our guests loved the cake! Federhofer's only bakes a few wedding cakes each weekend, so the quality and delivery is top notch. Make sure to put your order in 6 months ahead to guarantee that Federhofer's can make your perfect cake!

We had Federhofer's make and deliver our wedding cake. The cake tasted great and we had more than enough of it! There were a few things that kept them from having 5 stars though. First, they would not add my decorations to the cake. I was wanting to add fake flowers or leaves to it, but they said that was something my florist should do. Since I was doing my own flowers, that would have left me to decorate my own cake the day of my wedding- not happening. I had originally wanted a ribbon on the cake, which they would do, but I couldn't find it in the color I wanted. The other thing that disappointed me was their service. When I went to talk to the lady about the cake and do a tasting initially, she had said that they could put my silk flowers on the cake no problem. She also said I would have to provide the ribbon if I wanted it. When I went back to actually place the order, I was told they would not decorate the cake. I also would have preferred a small, two-tier cake but they would not deliver that- only a 3 tier cake or larger. Since I was placing a larger order, which also included two sheet cakes, I would have thought they would deliver it anyway. Regardless of theses issues, they did deliver the cake on time and it looked perfect when it arrived. I ended up not putting any silk flowers on it since they had done such a nice job icing it. We just added our topper and it was done. The cake tasted great, which is why we chose it to begin with. Even though I was a little disappointed in their service early on, I can't deny that the end result was great.

First off, their cake was DELICIOUS. We were from out of town and heard some wonderful things about Federhofer's. Their tasting portion was generous, so we were able to get a good feel for what we were buying and even share it with others. We weren't too impressed with the sample book of cake designs - some of the photos were just too low quality to get a good feel for the design, and we didn't find a pre-made design that we loved. We had also intended to order a two-tiered cake, which we were told they weren't able to deliver (as of June, they only delivered three tiers or more). We ended up ordering our small, tiered cake elsewhere, but we couldn't ignore how delicious and reasonably-priced Federhofer's was. We ended up buying sheet cake for the majority of our guests here (recruiting a family member to pick it up anyway), and it was well-complimented! I had a feeling that I'd love all their baked goods if I lived locally. :)

Federhofer’s had baked my husband’s birthday cakes since he was a kid, so we chose them for our bridal shower and wedding cakes last fall. Both cakes were delicious – we got lots of compliments from our guests. The bakery had a photo book full of ideas, and both cakes came out exactly like the photos I selected. Beware if you’re throwing a Saturday evening wedding – we had to pay extra for a “late” dropoff around 4:30, and they wouldn’t have gone any later in the day. They were also a bit particular about their requirements for setup and dropoff. But, they set up the cake topper for us and everything looked great in the end, so I’m still happy to recommend them.

We hired Federhofer's Bakery to make our wedding cake and could not have been happier with how the cake turned out. My mom LOVES Federhofer's white cake (how could you not?) so the deal was sealed after our tasting. Pricing was extremely reasonable, and I was able to send the decorator a photo of a cake that I wanted to imitate the style of and it turned out perfectly. I was worried that I would regret not going with one of the trendier bakeries, but our cake was beautiful and completely what I asked for.

My new in-laws, who are hard to impress, made the point to tell me how good the cake was! That alone speaks volumes!!! I was asked by multiple people who did the cake, it was that delicious. I picked a simple but cute design that fit our rustic theme. She matched the flowers on top to the colors of our wedding perfectly. It was delivered without a hitch. It looked great, and it tasted amazing...probably one cake I won't mind eating after being frozen for a year!!!

I have been going to this bakery for along time. It is right up the street from us and I love them. My cake was 3 tiers and each one was a different flavor! It was so good. The cake was beautiful. My mom was worried because we had black icing on it but it turned out amazing. The cake was moist and the filling were so good!!!!

ederhofer's did our wedding cake last month. We chose them because we wanted a variety of cakes rather than a traditional wedding cake. So we ordered 5 different kinds as large sheets, having only tasted the German chocolate (glorious). On our wedding day, we were told by the event manager and wait staff "We have never seen cake go like that". There wasn't a morsel left. Most of our guests tried several kinds and raved about them all. Even the cake that was cut beforehand and saved for us mysteriously shrunk in size and disappeared before I could try any. Not to mention the fact that several guests, having tried all 5 kinds of cake, helped themselves to the small cake on our sweetheart table because they just couldn't get enough. The three bites of heavenly hash I had were truly heavenly, though.

Need I say more? Good wedding cake is hard to come by. Federhofer's cake was absolutely delicious! Try them for yourself!
