one bar in main reception area so people had to trek back and fourth to hall cocktail hour. His staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. He is rude to The father of the bride, my husband and guests. He moved our tables closer to his staff which cut into our dance floor. THEY SET2 PITCHERS OF SWEET TEA AT EACH TABLE. One pitcher of tea at my daughters Sweetheart Table, I’ve been in the service industry for years and a pitcher at the table is so they don’t have to tend to you and you can serve yourself your own watered down tea. We brought in all our own liquor for our signature drinks and open bar…. The cups ranged from solo cups to short plastic cups and one of the signature drinks was in a pitcher as well. The staff/servers were drunk. At the end of the night I took a picture of left over liquor and left my table numbers that had flowers from my wedding bouquets I made 27 years ago, my dress from church ceremony my daughters removable custom sleeves from her wedding dress and the vases (the bouquets from bridesmaids sat in) as centerpieces to find it was all missing with 1.5 litre of Tequila and 2 bottles of Vodka. When I called Juan Carlos the owner he was very unreasonable and through the venue people under the bus…. My Big Brother is part of that Venue that owns the company that hires off duty police department to work the event. We know the venue and staff. We paid close to 10k for a wedding package. All the flowers and stays were thrown away. The twinkle lights were gone. My daughters wedding topper of Disney castle gone. Juan Carlos told us to bring to go containers day of reception, we brought 12 all 12 came back empty clean and still In package, even though we had 10 people not show up he said there was no left overs. But his staff scraping plates and eating off people’s plate while they scrape (disgusting) he gave them food too!?!! I am filing a police report. This was a tacky TACKY way to handle an elegant night. All the guests loved everything about the church the venue the music but many had complaints about the staff, bartenders and service at dinner. Oh! Also OUR GUEST STARTED CUTTING THE CAKE FOR THEMSELVES AFTER THE PICTURES AND HE SAID I AM DOING THE TOAST! Just left open bottles on table for guest to pour. God bless this man and his staff this is not ok. I never, not ever leave reviews… I have a mission now to do so.
