Cat was phenomenal! Her and her assistant were punctual and work quickly to keep you on time. She listened to what I wanted, and she executed my vision perfectly. I would recommend her to any bride.

I read such wonderful reviews and was very anxious to get scheduled in, I was thrilled to know I secured my wedding date! I do have a gluten allergy, which I forgot to disclose and when I had my trial date, it was not a fun time. When I got there, I met the MUA assigned to me, she's a lovely lady, she did follow the inspo pic I brought, however, she made my lips look bigger by drawing OVER the outline of my lips. Normally when I do my eyeliner, I do mid eye to the wing, however she refused to follow my wishes stating that corner to corner would look better. (It didn't) upon my reveal I noticed the wing want attached, when I asked why, she said it looked better that way, I said no, please attach the wing. Upon further looking, I was not happy, to which she said to look in another mirror with different lighting. I was not happy at all, I specifically asked to not have a caked on look, but throughout the process she kept spraying me with water because she felt I was dehydrated (as I was drinking my DAILY gallon of water). Aside from the eyeliner, cake look, I was a golden hue...I asked for a natural look and I looked gold! When I got home, the gluten allergy had kicked in, and my fave proceed to break out and other gluten symptoms persisted. I spoke with Cat that day and told her the situation. She then proceed to tell me o bo, I'm not sure about GF makeup, and cross contamination. I'm not sure how to go about to find GF makeup that you would be ok to use. She then proceed to tell me to go to Sephora, buy my makeup and they can use my makeup on me. When I asked if I would be compensated, she said no because I was paying for the Artistry! Now, I'm no MUA, but I do not have the 1st clue on what makeup to purchase, look for, or what is needed, hence me hiring a MUA for my wedding. The following day I called again and spoke to Cat, requesting a cancelation of my wedding day makeup. I 100% agreed to pay for the trial, as I had already done it, but based off of what she told me, and her abilities to not do what a MUA does she would not be able to fulfill her part of the contract, so I wished to cancel. And I admitted to being my fault for not mentioning my gluten allergy as well as asking if she was knowledgeable of gf makeup. After 2 weeks of emails with 5+ days in response to emails, she finally agreed to cancel and refund my deposit, minus the trial ALONG WITH A HIDDEN ADMIN FEE OF $120.00! A fee that is no where mentioned at all in the contract, this admin fee magically popped up, and Cat graciously agreed to only charge me half of the admin fee afyer I disputed the absurd charge. Sad to say, I was the 1% that was extremely unhappy with my experience, I wish things would have worked out better and I wish things were handled more professionally. I should have stated the gluten allergy from the get go, lesson learned on my behalf. I finally got my refund, which was not what it should have been. Since there was no mention of "admin fees"

Cat and her team did an incredible job doing my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and my hair and make up! My trial was really comprehensive and made me feel secure going into the wedding weekend. Cat and her team arrived early and helped keep our group on track for photos while keeping things fun. We couldn't be happier with our results (which needed barely any touch ups after 12 hours) and I can't recommend Feeling Pretty enough!

I loved my experience Feeling Pretty Inc! Cat was so warm and easy to talk to throughout the entire process. I loved the trial and working with her on skincare routine and any adjustments that might be needed for the big day. She was also so fun on the day! She brought a fan for my nervous hot flashes and made sure I was taken care of throughout the entire morning. I felt so beautiful and still looked like myself which was my biggest priority.

Amazing! Cat and her hair stylist Noor saved the big day! I booked them a couple weeks before my wedding since my original hair stylist didn't work out. They were so lovely to work with and Noor did such a good job with everyone's hair!

Catherine, Gianna, and Evelyn were excellent. They showed up on time, were professional, and helped everything run smoothly. My biggest fear was that I would wear too much makeup and not look like myself. In the trial, Gianna collaborated with me to create a look we both loved. It was my first time wearing fake lashes. The strip lashes felt like too much. Gianna and Catherine listened to my concerns. They were able to use more natural lashes to finish the look instead. My fiance even told me how much he liked my makeup. That is a big deal since he prefers I don't wear makeup at all. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family.

There aren’t enough great things to say about Cat, Noor, and Mandi! I just got married 10-14, from the trial all the way to the wedding day I was confident I made the right choice booking with Feeling Pretty Inc. At the trial they all made me feel so relaxed and made sure to listen to all my wants, needs, and concerns; when walking out of the trial I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. The amount of compliments throughout the day were astonishing! To the wedding day, Noor and Mandi were on time and got straight to work. They made sure my bridal party and I were comfortable and explained what they were doing the whole time to ensure we were happy with it. Noor did such an amazing job with my make up I was in love, as much as I loved my make up at the trial, my wedding one exceeded my expectations! Mandi did an amazing job with my hair, it stayed the entire night which is almost impossible to do with my hair texture! The whole day I felt so beautiful and I was so happy with the outcome! Thank you so much for the team at Feeling Pretty Inc! I will forever recommend this business and will most likely be back for something else to be done in the future! If it’s even a question to want to book with them, 100% do it, it will not be regretted!

I used Feeling Pretty Inc for my wedding makeup and hair, for myself, my bridesmaids, and mother/mother-in-law, and I can't thank them enough! Everyone loved their hair and makeup, especially me. Gianna, for makeup, is the sweetest and so good at what she does. Also Alex for the hair - she killed it. She was able to bring my vision for my hair to life. The team was so great to work with from start to finish. Not only are they great at what they do, but they were also so kind and lovely to be around - a great way to start one of the best days of my life.

I was unimpressed! At first I appreciated Cats professionalism at getting the contract over and being able to get my mother in law added but by the end of it I was ready to be done! 10 minutes before my trial I was told my artist was sick I explained I had driven an hour and was not coming back to reschedule she graciously offered to do it but it’s unrealistic to call someone 10 minutes before they are supposed to have a trial and expect them to be okay with it! Then my wedding day an absolute disaster! I was asked what time I wanted everyone ready and Cat gave me a timeline schedule which I filled in with all the girls names! My artist arrived and became an hour behind on the first girl ! Leading to my girls starting to do their own makeup because we knew we wouldn’t have time! It also made our hairstylists behind because people who were supposed to be getting hair done where still in the make up artists chair overall absolute disaster! May I mention the artist never made up anytime my mother in law took the last spot so we could get all the bridesmaids done and we were all supposed to be done at 1 and she didn’t even start my MIL until 1:15! Then when I approached Cat about it following my big day she noted that my artist told her my baby had an accident might I note my baby was not in the room until after I got my make up done and at no point was she involved in anything with my baby I cleaned a diaper that was the only accident my baby had which had no involvement from my artist or any of my bridesmaid! My advice to future bride if you want a relaxing wedding day experiences this is not your company!

We enjoyed our experience with Feeling Pretty! We thought the hair and makeup was excellent and they seemed very flexible with adjusting to different things all the girls wanted! We did have some tardiness from one of our vendors, however, luckily another makeup artist was able to makeup the time! We also did have to some difficulty with communication throughout the process, often having to email multiple times in order to receive responses. Overall, we loved the team and we thought they did a fantastic job and got everything done in a very timely manner, even with the hiccup!!!

Cat with Feeling Pretty was so great to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process! During our first call I felt heard by her and felt like I could trust her with the look for my big day! I'd been in other friends weddings, and I had never loved how my HMU turned out when done professionally, but when we had my trial she exceeded all of my expectations and I left feeling so excited about my look for the big day! Cat (makeup) and Mandi (hair) were so patient with me and listened to my vision and well as the concerns I had from previous experiences. For the morning of the wedding, I had a pretty big bridal party and getting ready group and she was so accommodating from moving up our start time so we could have a bit more time before having to leave (SO thankful to have done this bc time goes by so fast) to having four artists come that morning. All my girls felt beautiful and our hair and makeup stayed the whole day despite light rain during our bridal pictures! I would definitely recommend Feeling Pretty for your wedding!

Brides - Beware! I was excited to work with Feeling Pretty Inc since Cat did my makeup for my sister’s wedding 8 years ago. Having loved the experience then, I trusted that her artists would make me look my best on my wedding day. I scheduled a trial and initially liked my look. However, my makeup did not wear well and looked glossy/oily. My Mother-In-Law to be also had a trial. She decided after that she did not like the way her makeup looked and would not have her make up done for my wedding. I rescheduled a second trial for myself, requesting airbrush. Cat let me know that my assigned artist does airbrush and made arrangements to have her come to my house for a second trial. My artist arrived 15 minutes late and then explained to me that she over-hydrated my skin during preparation and that changing the preparation would make my makeup less glossy/greasy. I told her that I had requested airbrush makeup and she clearly stated that she did not do airbrush makeup. She offered to do aerosol makeup the day of the wedding, but didn’t have any aerosol with her for the trial. I wanted to trust her, so she did my makeup for a second time. This time, my face looked caked and my pores looked like divots on my face. As someone who feels very comfortable in her own skin, I was bummed. The artist said that the makeup would settle in a few hours - again wanting to trust her, I was thankful for her time and waited…. And nothing changed. I reached out to Cat requesting to terminate my contract. She kindly got in touch with me and offered to assign me a different artist. After 2 failed trials, (3 including my mother-in-law), I felt it was best to go our separate ways. I was happy to pay for my initial trial, as well as my mother-in-law’s trial. However, I requested the repayment of my remaining deposit based on the conditions that she was unable to provide the service outlined in her contract. Cat charged me for 3 trials and returned $24 to me, despite the fact that the additional trial was due to quality issues. She eventually agreed to repay an additional $100 with a “sorry you feel that way” remark, still not covering the entire cost of the trial.

Cannot recommend Feeling Pretty enough! Cat was so accommodating and laid back which was so appreciated on a chaotic morning! When a few of the outlets in our hotel suite went out (UGH) Cat and the team rolled with it and moved their equipment around and made it work, while staying on schedule. They were so fun to spend the morning with and set the day on a great note! Everyone looked fabulous and my hair and makeup lasted all day!

It was great working with Cat and the makeup artist Gianna and hair stylist Alejandra for my bride hair and makeup trial as well as the day of the wedding. Shockingly we were all finished (3 bridesmaids, bride, mother of bride and mother of groom) faster than scheduled, so we enjoyed the time after for some relaxing and more time for photos. Gianna and Alejandra were super fun to talk to and relaxed while we were getting ready. They were able to create exactly what we all wanted for our hair and makeup - which stayed on and mostly intact throughout the whole night! Highly recommend!

I loved both my hairstylist and makeup artist. I loved how personable they were and how they blended with my family. The fact that they were a part of my special day means the world to me. I loved that both of my artists were just another part of my support group. That is how you know you went with the best. They blend in and work to ease your apprehension and stress. My hair looked phenomenal; everyone said the hair-do made me look like a mermaid or princess. My makeup was top-notch and made me glow all night. My makeup was sweat-proof. Lasted all night.

I highly reccommend Cat and her team if youre in need of hair and makeup services for your wedding. Cat Is very attentive to detail and responds quickly to emails. Her and Noor brought life to our wedding morning! Their enegery is fantastic and their skill is wonderful. Hire them to do your wedding!! You won't regret it.

The two girls who did our makeup and hair were absolutely incredible - I got my dream hair and all my bridesmaids looked so incredible. Catherine, the owner, was super flexible about adding the flower girls last minute. Kara and Sydney were right on time and worked so well. They also did amazing makeup on our moms, which can be hard to do! So I would definitely book them again.

Not only was Cat an amazing makeup artist, but she was also the sweetest person to work with! She was so helpful in creating the makeup look that would suit my features based on the inspiration that I showed her, and always made sure that I was comfortable throughout the process. She was flexible in accommodating my crazy schedule between two jobs, and always had time to answer my questions. When we were getting ready together, it was like having yet another friend in the room, hyping me up and making me feel beautiful on the biggest day of my life.

I highly recommend Feeling Pretty and Lucy for your wedding beauty needs. As a bride who typically does not wear a lot of make-up, I was so anxious about how my make-up was going to look for my wedding. Lucy and Cat were so patient and accommodating. Lucy listened to my concerns and talked though how I wanted to look during my make-up trial. I had no worries on the morning of my wedding. Lucy has such a fun, friendly personality and really helped me relax and enjoy the wedding morning!

Very talented and communicative! I was beyond happy with my bridal makeup. They did not miss a beat! I always felt at ease after talking to Cat, and her staff worked so hard to make my bridesmaids and me feel beautiful.

I cannot recommend Cat and Feeling Pretty enough! From our first call, I knew that Feeling Pretty was going to both make everyone beautiful and help the day to feel as smooth and stress free as possible. She created a schedule that allowed enough time for services and extra wiggle room to make us comfortable which I deeply appreciated. As the name suggests, I felt SO PRETTY, truly beautiful on the most important day. Cat and her team also made my gals and family look and feel amazing!! The hair and makeup artists took what they wanted and also helped to make suggestions based on hair type, skin, and complexion that truly brought out everyone’s gorgeous features! I also LOVED the kit that Cat provided for me! The bag included blot cloths, tissues, powder, and more of my lip color which helped to keep me fresh and feel good well into the sweaty dancing at the end of the night. Everyone’s makeup stayed put and my aunt’s hair even lasted into events later in the weekend! Highly recommend Feeling Pretty if you are looking for a fab beauty team for your big day!!

I went through 2 different vendors and knew in my gut it was not the look I dreamed of for my wedding day. But then I found Cat/Feeling Pretty and it all felt perfect. After talking to Cat we created my dream look and it was everything I imagined and so much more! I was worried about my face getting too oily and the makeup not holding up and my hair getting frizzy but Fatima worked some magic and it looked perfect all night! During the whole process everyone was so great at communicating. During my trial I felt empowered to speak up and make sure that I was happy with how my hair and makeup turned out. My experience with Feeling pretty was amazing! I got the spray tan a few days before which lasted for a long time! I had so many fears about the big day and Cat definitely put all my fears at ease. Cat was really great to work with and kept everything fun and relaxed! Mandie did our hair and was also fantastic! She took a lot of time to make my hair perfect! I had so many compliments and truly felt like a princess and my bridesmaids were impressed with their hair and makeup too! I 100% will recommend to everyone I know!!!

Let me start with my initial conversation with Cat. She was outgoing, friendly, kind and cared about my vision for the wedding day look. She was very organized, great at communicating (a text, phone call or email away), and she offers free spray tanning for the bride! My husband and I got our spray tans a few days prior to the wedding and it looks incredible, and natural! So much so, my mom (who is usually Not a fan of spray tans) wanted one too! Cat did an amazing job with the tans. At my trial, she worked hard with me to capture my preferred look. And at the day of the wedding, she mastered it! That makeup did not budge one bit, I didn’t have to reapply a thing! Concealer, bronzer, eyeshadow, lashes; all of it was intact. Hair was beautiful as well. They understood the look I was going for and executed it well! 10/10 would recommend cat for your wedding day because she cares, she does an amazing job, and SHES SO FRIENDLY! Feel like I gained a friend. Thanks Cat for all your/your teams hard work!

They were wonderful! I highly recommend for weddings and events. Lucy did makeup for my bridesmaids, my mom and I (bride). Lucy really worked with me to get the right look for my big day. I’m very particular with makeup and she made me feel gorgeous. Mandie styled our hair. I am in love with the hood she gave me. My bridesmaids were so happy and looked more beautiful than ever with their glam waves. Catherine , the owner, is very responsive and super easy to work with. Pricing is high, and I was surprised to pay so much for trials. But in the end it was 100% WORTH IT and from what I’ve seen, pretty comparable to other vendors.

Working with Cat was an absolute dream! She was so sweet and responsive to my requests. My make up was absolutely stunning as was all my bridal party! Cat was the first vendor I booked when I started planning my wedding, after our first conversation her enthusiasm got me actually excited to start planning my wedding in the middle of such a hectic year. This enthusiasm and contagious excitement was such a gift on the wedding day Morning. Cat is such a pro and thinks of every thing to make your time getting ready stress free and relaxing. Needless to say her and her team will make you look your very best. My bridal party and I were obsessed with our hair and makeup even the moms in the group commented on how well their makeup looked on their mature skin throughout the night. I absolutely LOVED working with these ladies for my big day— Cat is a doll, and went above and beyond to coordinate my hair/makeup trial amongst a weird schedule & living out of state. I have to admit, I was nervous about having my makeup done only because I’ve always done my own makeup & tend to be a little picky, but Noor did an amazing job & my makeup held ALL day. Cat helped set me up with our 2 fantastic artists, Cindy & Noor. Cindy did an incredibly job of calming me down, and hyping me up as the bride. She also gave me some skin tips after my trial that really helped my skin glow the day of the wedding. Cindy and Noor both made our moms and bridesmaids feel comfortable in their chair and confident as they walked out and off to pictures. I was shocked with how well my makeup lasted throughout the day. I really looked just as fresh at 12am as I did at 10am. Cindy even made me a mini container of lip touch up for later in the evening which was perfect. Overall I had a wonderful experience working with Feeling Pretty and would recommend to any bride!

Highly recommend Feeling Pretty! Catherine was very responsive and professional. We were very careful with the pandemic - we and our guests were all vaccinated and tested negative before the wedding - and we wanted all our vendors, esp hair and makeup since they're spending so much time close to us, to be vaccinated. I had been speaking with another vendor who simply said their staff is not vaccinated and they can't help us. Catherine had no problem finding vaccinated hair (Emily) and makeup (Lexi) professionals who also wore masks for our comfort. They both did an absolutely incredible job! We all felt so beautiful. Our hair and makeup was such great quality and stayed all day (even in the sun!) and night. Emily even helped smooth down the groom's hair. I cannot recommend Feeling Pretty enough.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Catherine Baran Chlipala. Not only is she a best friend to me, she is one of the most professional , talented make up artists I know. The best! I am so grateful that she was able to be at my wedding. After flying hundreds of miles to be there, she rocked the make up for me, my mom and my sister. No trial needed, I had 100% confidence in this girl. We all felt pretty! I highly recommend make up by Catherine and to follow her Facebook page as well. I used Cat for my wedding. She did makeup for my 3 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself. She is amazingly talented and so much fun. If you are looking for a gifted makeup artist, this is your place. I hired Cat to do my makeup as well as all my bridesmaids and I couldn’t be more impressed. I definitely am not what you call a makeup person but Cat made me look so beautiful without feeling I have 12 layers of makeup on and that’s truly a gift. She even catered to some bridesmaids that weren’t comfortable with makeup and made them feel comfortable and engaged. I could not recommend her enough.

I would highly recommend Catherine for any special occasion for makeup! It was great being able to have a trial day the day of my wedding shower and after that I knew she would be the one I would book with for our special day... I had previously had 2 other make up trials with other individuals but it did not compare to Catherine! She is open to ideas, on time and very talented! I’ve trusted Cat to do my makeup for a few years now for other events. So when it came time to find someone to do my wedding makeup, it was a no brainer to hire her for the job! I absolutely loved my wedding look. Catherine is so kind and personal. I loved that once my wedding day came around, I could just sit back and relax and let her work her magic. Cat was nothing short of incredible as my glam squad on my wedding day. She came in last minute after COVID ruined my initial wedding plans and we decided to do a smaller ceremony last minute. Not only did Cat make herself available last minute, but she found time to squeeze in a trial as well. On my wedding day my hair and makeup looked amazing, as did my bridesmaids and mother's. They also held up extremely well considering we got married on the hottest and most humid day of the year (100 degree heat with that intense humidity). As we got ready she made sure to ask everyone what they wanted and stayed true to our styles. She is a great listener and made the getting ready portion lots of fun! Cat is such an amazing person and will go above and beyond for you regardless if it's your wedding, special occasion, or bodybuilding competition. If you're on the fence, look no further! I plan to hire her again in the future for all my special occasions where I need a glam squad!
