p and the girly things in life so getting dolled up for my wedding took some getting used to! Lenee was a total pro with my hair along with my mother, MIL, and three friends. She was so patient and listened to what each of us wanted, and executed perfectly. She was also so lovely during my trial and to have in my suite the morning of the wedding. Amanda was our makeup artist and did she rise to the occasion! She was my third makeup trial and she nailed it. She gave me great advice ahead of time on how my makeup would lay better on my face. I did as she suggested and it really made a difference. We had a few others on the day of who had challenging skin and she also nailed it. She was so much fun to chat with and have around. Both Lenee and Amanda just gave us wonderful, positive, fun energy the morning of so I really could not have asked for a better team. Thank you, Cat, for providing such a nice experience for my wedding day! I will be forever grateful.

ur initial phone call. She sent the contract promptly, and after signing, I scheduled a trial with her team. While I noticed a slight delay in her responses at first (understandable during their busiest season), she caught up once the wedding rush quieted, and communication was smooth from there. Lucy did my makeup, and she was absolutely amazing! During the trial, I requested a very light, natural look, but on the wedding day, I asked for something a bit bolder to stand out in photos. Lucy completely understood the vision and delivered flawlessly. I couldn’t have been happier with my makeup—it was stunning! My bridesmaids were also very pleased with their makeup, though two of them wanted airbrush, which wasn’t initially offered. We had to make a last-minute request, and unfortunately, one artist wasn’t fully prepared for airbrush applications even though it was part of the package. For future brides: if you want airbrush, make sure it’s confirmed when you book. One of the highlights of working with Feeling Pretty was that lashes were included in the price—a nice touch that made everyone’s look complete. For hair, Lenee was fantastic! I showed her one inspiration photo, and she recreated the look perfectly. She was also incredibly creative and helpful with my bridesmaids, especially when they weren’t sure what they wanted. Every one of them looked absolutely stunning! I also decided to purchase hair extensions through Feeling Pretty, and I’m so glad I did. The extensions were reasonably priced, matched my hair perfectly, and added the fullness and length I wanted for my wedding day. It was such a great recommendation from Cat and her team, and I can’t wait to wear them again! Overall, I’m so happy I chose Feeling Pretty for my wedding day. Despite a few hiccups, the team was professional, talented, and a joy to work with. I’d absolutely recommend them to any bride looking for a reliable and creative hair and makeup team!

ks unnatural and borderline clownish on me. I cautiously asked for a "natural glam" look at our trial, and she absolutely nailed it! Cat's vibe is so sweet, lighthearted, social, and encouraging - she aims to please, and she DELIVERS! Not only was the makeup she did for me absolutely flawless, but it lasted my ENTIRE wedding! It was upwards on 90 degrees on wedding day and I was sweating pretty much the entire time, but the makeup didn't budge! I can't tell you how many people came up to me throughout the reception and said, "How is your makeup still perfect?!" 11/10 <3

when I had my trial date, it was not a fun time. When I got there, I met the MUA assigned to me, she's a lovely lady, she did follow the inspo pic I brought, however, she made my lips look bigger by drawing OVER the outline of my lips. Normally when I do my eyeliner, I do mid eye to the wing, however she refused to follow my wishes stating that corner to corner would look better. (It didn't) upon my reveal I noticed the wing want attached, when I asked why, she said it looked better that way, I said no, please attach the wing. Upon further looking, I was not happy, to which she said to look in another mirror with different lighting. I was not happy at all, I specifically asked to not have a caked on look, but throughout the process she kept spraying me with water because she felt I was dehydrated (as I was drinking my DAILY gallon of water). Aside from the eyeliner, cake look, I was a golden hue...I asked for a natural look and I looked gold! When I got home, the gluten allergy had kicked in, and my fave proceed to break out and other gluten symptoms persisted. I spoke with Cat that day and told her the situation. She then proceed to tell me o bo, I'm not sure about GF makeup, and cross contamination. I'm not sure how to go about to find GF makeup that you would be ok to use. She then proceed to tell me to go to Sephora, buy my makeup and they can use my makeup on me. When I asked if I would be compensated, she said no because I was paying for the Artistry! Now, I'm no MUA, but I do not have the 1st clue on what makeup to purchase, look for, or what is needed, hence me hiring a MUA for my wedding. The following day I called again and spoke to Cat, requesting a cancelation of my wedding day makeup. I 100% agreed to pay for the trial, as I had already done it, but based off of what she told me, and her abilities to not do what a MUA does she would not be able to fulfill her part of the contract, so I wished to cancel. And I admitted to being my fault for not mentioning my gluten allergy as well as asking if she was knowledgeable of gf makeup. After 2 weeks of emails with 5+ days in response to emails, she finally agreed to cancel and refund my deposit, minus the trial ALONG WITH A HIDDEN ADMIN FEE OF $120.00! A fee that is no where mentioned at all in the contract, this admin fee magically popped up, and Cat graciously agreed to only charge me half of the admin fee afyer I disputed the absurd charge. Sad to say, I was the 1% that was extremely unhappy with my experience, I wish things would have worked out better and I wish things were handled more professionally. I should have stated the gluten allergy from the get go, lesson learned on my behalf. I finally got my refund, which was not what it should have been. Since there was no mention of "admin fees"

e wedding weekend. Cat and her team arrived early and helped keep our group on track for photos while keeping things fun. We couldn't be happier with our results (which needed barely any touch ups after 12 hours) and I can't recommend Feeling Pretty enough!

I liked and were able to change what I needed. They were punctual and were just so fun and sweet. I highly recommend them.

ists would make me look my best on my wedding day. I scheduled a trial and initially liked my look. However, my makeup did not wear well and looked glossy/oily. My Mother-In-Law to be also had a trial. She decided after that she did not like the way her makeup looked and would not have her make up done for my wedding. I rescheduled a second trial for myself, requesting airbrush. Cat let me know that my assigned artist does airbrush and made arrangements to have her come to my house for a second trial. My artist arrived 15 minutes late and then explained to me that she over-hydrated my skin during preparation and that changing the preparation would make my makeup less glossy/greasy. I told her that I had requested airbrush makeup and she clearly stated that she did not do airbrush makeup. She offered to do aerosol makeup the day of the wedding, but didn’t have any aerosol with her for the trial. I wanted to trust her, so she did my makeup for a second time. This time, my face looked caked and my pores looked like divots on my face. As someone who feels very comfortable in her own skin, I was bummed. The artist said that the makeup would settle in a few hours - again wanting to trust her, I was thankful for her time and waited…. And nothing changed. I reached out to Cat requesting to terminate my contract. She kindly got in touch with me and offered to assign me a different artist. After 2 failed trials, (3 including my mother-in-law), I felt it was best to go our separate ways. I was happy to pay for my initial trial, as well as my mother-in-law’s trial. However, I requested the repayment of my remaining deposit based on the conditions that she was unable to provide the service outlined in her contract. Cat charged me for 3 trials and returned $24 to me, despite the fact that the additional trial was due to quality issues. She eventually agreed to repay an additional $100 with a “sorry you feel that way” remark, still not covering the entire cost of the trial.
