Feet of a Dancer

Hana at Feet of a Dancer is an incredible teacher! In just one virtual session (due to us being out of state) she taught my now spouse and I more effectively than any in-person dance lesson we'd ever been to, and at the end of our multi-session package we felt like pros! We had fun learning and felt confident on the dance floor in front of our friends and family. We're so thankful that Hana offered virtual lessons, as her detailed instruction and kind yet actionable feedback helped us choreograph a dance that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives. Thank you Hana and Feet of a Dancer for helping us create a joyful memory and a beautiful celebration of our love.

Hana is very organized, excited by what she does and a pleasure to work with. She taught us how to make our dance great, even though we aren't much of dancers. We had a great first dance because of her! A pleasure to work with!

Hana is amazing. My husband and I were unsure about how much effort we wanted to put into prepping for our first dance, so we took Hana's crash course class and had so much fun and decided to sign up for additional classes. Hana exceeded our expectations. She provided us feedback throughout our lesson to perfect our movements and sent us thorough notes to guide us while practicing at home. During our lesson, she was always so bubbly and energetic, which was much needed as our classes were always at the end of the day. In the end, we had so much fun with our first dance and received many compliments from our guests. Would 1000% recommend her if you and your partner want a memorable first dance.

Hana was really wonderful to work with! We had struggled through some initial lessons at a chain dance studio that were really not our vibe and were feeling sort of helpless. We couldn't be happier that we found Hana as she really turned around our experience with learning a dance for our wedding. Hana is so positive and easy going but doesn't hesitate to give gentle feedback as she wanted us to be happy with the final outcome! She met us where we were, very novice dancers, and helped us really enjoy the process of learning together. We walked out of each lesson with a smile on our faces and it ended up being a really enjoyable activity for us to do as a couple during the wedding planning process! She reviewed each new move we learned with us several time and provided very helpful notes and video for us to use for practice between lessons which was immensely helpful. The end result was a first dance that we were both really proud of, it was a great moment together, and as a bonus Hana gave us a confidence that we can do a few basic moves that translated into my husband dancing with me on our honeymoon in Bora Bora during a live music performance, we were actually the couple that got up first and inspired several others to join the dance floor! I could not have been happier with my experience with Hana Fisher, owner of Feet of a Dancer. Hana choreographed our first dance for our May 2023 wedding, and over the course of 6 lessons, we learned and perfected the dance. My husband and I both agreed that dance lessons with Hana were our favorite part of wedding prep. All the stress of wedding planning melted away when we were at Hana's lessons. We laughed, we enjoyed ourselves, and overall, the experience helped us to bond as a couple. At each lesson, Hana came highly prepared, and very organized. She always had an agenda of what she wanted to teach us or fine-tune. She was incredibly thorough, and made sure that we ran through each part of the dance as many times as we needed to, until were able to perform the entire piece flawlessly. I appreciated her commitment to making sure we learned everything well. I also loved her positive, upbeat energy. She was like a cheerleader, and was so excited every time we mastered a new part of the dance. Her joy was contagious. At our wedding, we performed our first dance confidently and perfectly, and our guests LOVED it. Many said it was the best first dance they had ever seen! I was so proud of my husband- he was incredibly anxious beforehand, and had no dancing experience, but thanks to Hana's teaching, our first dance was incredible. Now that the wedding is over, I can say with honesty that I miss dance lessons with Hana. If you hire her for your wedding, you will be happy that you did! A+ job

We chose Hana to help us with our first dance and parent dances and we are beyond grateful and happy we did. Not only is Hana a great teacher (patient, funny, knowledgeable, easy to understand), she also goes the extra mile by sharing notes and videos after each lesson. Hana is very flexible with scheduling and offers online lessons if in person does not work. Our first dance went perfectly and everyone loved it. The parent dances went incredibly well as well. We recommend Hana to anyone looking for wedding dancing practice or any dance lessons. If we could give more stars, we would.

I just wanted to come here to write a review for Hana! We took lessons with Hana for our first dance at our wedding; Hana was incredibly flexible, accommodating, and willing to work with us on whatever we wanted (we wanted less of a choreographed dance, and more just a lot of practice with moves). She was patient, kind, and supported us the entire time with a ton of positive feedback. We learned so much, feel way more confident in our moves, and are ready to tackle our wedding day. She is truly professional with the way she operates, continually giving you notes and feedback to access after each lesson. Thanks Hana!

We took lessons with Hana for our first dance at our wedding and she was great! She made us feel very comfortable and taught us the fundamentals we needed to put together our first dance. Hana was fantastic! She helped my wife and I put together an amazing first dance. I was nervous to take lessons in general because I thought the instructor might be awkward with 2 women…but it didn’t phase her at all. I felt right at home with Hana and always very comfortable. I couldn’t recommend Hana more!

Hana was amazing! She helped us prepare for our first dance and she taught us a great wedding dance in only 6 lessons from scratch. Her lessons were really fun and she was great at advising us on which move to do at what part of the song. She also helped us by filming our dance at the end of each session so we could practice at home. I can't recommend her enough!
