Felicia The Photographer

g. She made sure to ask the right questions to discover the look and feel that we wanted for our photos. I wouldn't say that my partner and I are incredibly good at being photographed but she was able to coach through the process and make us feel so comfortable and look absolutely stunning. I am forever grateful for the photos we have from our wedding, having too many beautiful photos to choose from and is a blessing in disguise.

edding photographer. Truly, no one compares. Her style is unique, romantic, authentic, architectural and modern. Felicia's work feels like art. She is an amazing human being too and made us feel so comfy and special during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. She delivered a few sneak peeks a week or so after wedding day which was SO exciting and even gave us the sweetest and most thoughtful Christmas gift. Picking a wedding photographer is a big deal but I 100% knew we could trust Felicia with our best day ever. I cannot wait to receive our full gallery!! Thank you, Felicia, for being the greatest of all time and for making a couple of awkward humans feel so loved on our wedding day. We love you!

in the midst of covid on the phone she was so personable and I felt like I was talking with an old friend. She was genuinely interested in knowing our love story, making sure she could give us just what we dreamed of. We knew we didn't want to skimp on a photographer because we wanted to relive this day everytime we looked at the photos, it was very important to us, and WOW could that be more true when Looking at them now. On our day, as soon as she arrived she was peaceful, calm, organized, and helped me to ease nerves and reminded me to relax and have fun. I don't think theres enough space in this review to list off all the things I love about her! When she posted a little preview of a few photos from our day I was in tears, and shock of how beautiful they were. She exceeded all our expectations and I cannot wait to get the full package! Thank you so much for capturing our most special moments with the people we love in such an amazing and creative way.

oo! She was a rockstar the whole day, made sure we were on time and the day ran smooth, was there for me when my dress came unbustled and bustled it right back up and even helped us with making sure the marriage certificate was signed properly! I could not be more thankful for her! Felicia is a dream to work with! I cannot wait to see all the pictures, our engagement pictures were stunning, so I can only imagine what these will be! She thinks of all the little details and ensures you don't miss anything because the day is a whirlwind! I cannot recommend Felicia enough and hope to work with her again sometime!

ented photographers I came across in the Kansas City metro area. However, no one stood out to me quite like Felicia did. After submitting an inquiry to her, I quickly received an enthusiastic email response from her suggesting we meet via FaceTime to chat through details, get to know one another better, and ultimately determine if it would be a good "fit." I can honestly say I have never FaceTimed with a complete stranger who I immediately felt like I had known for years until I met Felicia. Following that initial conversation, my husband and I knew we had found the perfect person to document these moments. We are both naturally awkward in front of a camera, but the photos Felicia captured during our engagement session and our wedding day tell a completely different story. She is charismatic, creative, genuine, professional, and organized. Felicia made everything related to our engagement session and wedding day incredibly easy through her detailed questionnaires and thorough timeline for photos. I lack any bit of creativity and found it difficult to articulate what I wanted when it came to our photos. However, Felicia exceeded every expectation we had. Her photos are the perfect reflection of her imagination, eye for detail, patience, flexibility, and passion. We truly can’t say enough about our positive experience throughout every step of the way with Felicia and will cherish these photos for many years to come!

st photographer I have ever worked with! I had a terrible experience, with my oldest daughter's wedding photographer, so I was sure to call Felicia's references and talk with past clients, as to her organization skills and professionalism. I heard nothing but good reviews. Hosting a wedding, during the pandemic was extremely stressful. The restrictions and policies were constantly changing. We were notified of changes at the church, the evening of the rehearsal. Felicia was unfazed. She adjusted her timeline, so we could still get all the photos at the church we wanted. More importantly, she reassured me it would all turn out. Then, when we experienced a delay from another vendor at the reception, she volunteered to stay past the contracted time, to get the photos my daughter wanted. Felicia is punctual, organized and a pleasure to work with. Her photos are beautiful and she captured my daughter's personality perfectly, in her photographs. We had so many compliments from guests, about how great our photographer was. You can end your search now, and just hire Felicia!!!

fronts photography and she DELIVERED! She took photos all weekend long at different events with different lightings, venues, and moods. She was able to capture the beauty and fun of all events and I would not have changed a thing! I would suggest and recommended her to ANYONE because she was more than a girl who dreamed of her wedding her whole life could have possibly imagined!

rk with. We fell in love with her artistic style, composition (love the architectural shots!), and eye for capturing details, personality, and lighting. We can’t thank her enough and are so grateful that we got to work with her!

ed with our wedding photography. She spent time to get to know us and what would be most important to us on our wedding day. She captured each moment with so much emotion and love. She has an incredible way of bringing calm to the organized chaos that is a wedding. Thank you Felicia!

her clients and asking survey questions up front to get a good idea of your particular style and taste. She helps map out a timeline so you are able to fit all the photographs in your day without missing out on any fun or feeling rushed. And to top it all off, she is the SWEETEST and the photos you see in the end are SPECTACULAR! I would recommend choosing Felicia as your photographer and just trusting her because she knows what she is doing and you will be more than pleased with beautiful photographs to treasure forever!

for the big day to the calmness, positivity, and detailed preparation on the day of the wedding. She did everything we asked for the day of, listened to everything we had asked for and it was incredible. The photos also turned out incredible and everything we had hoped for! Things will happen the day of your wedding and you'll think of a few more photos you will want but never mentioned and she will handle it perfectly and make sure it gets done. If you want someone you can trust for your wedding day and make sure it's everything you wanted, she is the lady to go to. Thank you, Felicia, for everything!!!

r with exquisite photographs that tell a good story, but she is also an amazing person. She had so many great ideas for photographs that she shared with me and was incredibly flexible with both her process and schedule - she is the only photographer I know of who will designate her entire day for photographing a wedding! She also became someone who I consider a friend, and comforted my on the day when the weather wasn't going exactly as expected, and kept my nerves at bay and reassured me that the day would be perfect, and she was right! I just got back my photographs back and I am in love! They are beautiful!! Hiring Felicia will be the best decision you could make to ensure that your wedding will be a beautiful day to always remember. Thank you, Felicia!!

melt down on my wedding day and she was very kind and helpful. She even helped when we could not figure out how to bustle my dress. She definitely went above and beyond! She knows what she is doing! I can’t wait to see our wedding photos! I know they will be stunning. I definitely would recommend her services. Her photographer skills are top notch and I’m so happy we chose her to photograph our wedding!

icture taken, but with her personality and direction he was completely at ease. I fully believe she has been specifically placed in this profession for a reason and I would recommend her over and over again! On top of all of that, she is an artist and creates beautiful images... and she made such an impression, even our friends and family were talking about how wonderful she was! Thank you for everything Felicia!

ne the first time we met. She already knew the sunset time for our golden hour shoot as well. She is just so good at what she does. Just look at the photos... I had such a stressful day that day but Felicia somehow captured all my smiles! Thank you so much!!!

photos. I still catch myself at work getting distracting by looking at all of the beautiful memories she was able to capture. She did an excellent job scoping out the locations to take photos. Even when it rained on our wedding day she still found a way to make the pictures look beautiful and she kept my bride happy throughout the experience. All of our wedding guests were also very pleased with her professionalism. We will definitely be using Felicia again for future family photos and life events.

, she never ceased to amaze me with her vision. She helped so much with directing us (we are NOT models, and other than your basic half-hug smile, we had no idea how to pose for pictures) and helping us feel 100% comfortable at all times. Her work on our engagement shoot was incredible, and she somehow knew how to capture the warmth of our love for each other even though we were in pain it was so cold. She also helped incorporate our fur baby in the pictures, and not only was it no easy task, I did not expect any of those photos to be usable, but lo and behold, they were perfect. I also decided to add a boudoir shoot to make a book to give my husband on our wedding day, and she killed that too! Its rare for anyone to feel comfortable almost completely naked in front of a camera, but Felicia made me feel like i had known her forever, and the photos came out absolutely stunning. Sean and I also decided that we wanted to soak in every single minute of our wedding night, so we were going to do wedding portraits the day before the wedding, in a few iconic New York City locations. The only way to get the locations photographer without crowds of people in the background was to do a sunrise shoot, and without questions Felicia agreed. It was early, and even started to rain at one point, but there wasn’t one complaint from Felicia about it, she again captured the very best of us in the photos and we were blown away. Last, but definitely not least our wedding day. where she guided and captured every important moment with such grace and detail. She was there to lend a helping hand, make us feel comfortable and calm, and make sure that nothing would be missed. The photos from that day; getting ready, the first look, family portraits, the ceremony, reception and night time portraits were phenomenal. The way she captured our wedding was perfectly us, and we are so lucky we get to look back and relive it exactly the way we remember it. It was a dream working with Felicia, i can’t say enough about how happy we are. I will be coming up with any excuse to have another photoshoot with her in the future, and you should too!

nestly was very nervous for our engagement pictures because my husband (fiancé at the time) and I are kinda awkward humans... the photos were STUNNING and so naturally beautiful. Felicia made us feel like we were her best friends and most important people in the world from the first time we met. Felicia is honestly like a secret wedding planner. She helped me come up with a rain plan (as our wedding was outside) and eased all of my stressors on our wedding week. She also took charge, she knows how to organize people and made photos a breeze on our wedding day. She is so talented and knowledgeable, she is very genuine and loves what she does. Choosing a photographer was my #1 priority for wedding planning because pictures last a lifetime. I knew that we would be in good hands with Felicia capturing our memories that we will cherish forever. If you have any doubts whatsoever about hiring Felicia, let me ease your mind, because she truly is THE BEST and you will not be disappointed!

a over the phone before booking and immediately meshed with her personality. She was helpful, informative and most importantly to me, felt real. She was explained that every wedding is different and each couple has their own personal style. She was not a salesman trying to push her packages on us and she made sure everything she offered was tailored to our taste. Leading up to our wedding, Felicia was extremely responsive and helpful in any questions we had. She made sure we understood our timeline, what could be done in that timeline and most importantly wanted to make sure she understood what and who was important to us to capture that day. It made the already grueling wedding planning that much easier. The day of our wedding started with myself and the bridemaids being stuck in 45 minutes of unplanned traffic. Felicia was there waiting and ready and immediately kicked into high gear. She rearranged the bridal party so that we can do pictures of my mom and sister putting my dress on while 8 other women got ready in somewhat of chaos on the other side of the room. We had wanted to get all of our photos done before our ceremony and Felicia arranged it perfectly so. Our friends and family were raving about how smooth the photo portion of the day was. The rest of the day (ceremony and reception) Felicia made herself almost invisible. She was not on top of people or in the way during any important moments. She was part of the crowd in a seamless way! Would recommend Felicia and her services to everyone, she was a huge part of our day's success!

and most importantly cared about capturing this special moment in our lives. She got to know us as a couple, which is really unlike any of the photographers we met with. During the wedding she made everyone feel special, and her work was freaking stunning. There is no better feeling than being able to reflect on your special day and have amazing pictures that captured all the special moments of your wedding. Did I mention her work is freaking amazing! Such an honor to have her as our wedding photographer.

e was not one second that I worried about how my pictures would turn out. From the first time Felicia and I had talked on the phone, I just had a sense of ease and total confidence come over me that I would be 100% pleased with anything that Felicia captured, which is pretty impressive for someone like me (I worry about everything!!)... I didn't even give her a ton of direction on my wedding day (like I said, I just trusted her). When my husband and I got our pictures back after our honeymoon. We were literally speechless. There was not one photo that we wished we would of had. She captured it all so perfectly and so beautifully! These are pictures and memories that we are going to cherish forever. I know finding the right photographer can be stressful. I cannot recommend Felicia highly enough. I could go on and on. She's simply the best!!

ds loved her. Best of all, she captured our engagement and wedding photos timelessly and beautifully. If you’re looking for an artist and professional to blend in with your group and capture your day exquisitely, contact Felicia!

r because she was so easy to talk to. I was able to share our story and vision for our wedding, and Felicia shared her visions and methods behind her creativity. I was captivated by her work and use of what she calls "The Golden Hour." It was a marriage of ideas, style, and personalities that led me to choose Felicia as our photographer. I am so incredibly happy today with our engagement photos and absolutely IN lOVE with our wedding photos! Felicia is fun to be around and made us feel comfortable, which helped create breathtaking photos that will last a lifetime.

ess stressful by helping coordinate our day of timeline. She dealt with our crazy groomsmen and kept everyone in line. Thank you Felicia! 10 our of 5 stars!!!

bly kind, generous, thoughtful, and on top of everything! My husband and I booked Felicia for our Kansas City wedding in June 2018. I found her just by searching for photographers in KC and clicking on their websites to see their style. Felicia's site immediately captured my attention - I knew she had to be our photographer. Wow, were we blown away. Working with her was wonderful...I cannot say enough good things. She is organized, experienced, and gives direction during every photo. She will take charge and make sure everything turns out perfectly! Five stars in every way.

it was actually difficult trying to pick and choose which ones to add to my wedding album - a testament to her incredible work. Also, she's laidback and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

t her. She is so sweet, and attentive, and a true cheerleader throughout the entire day. Her positive energy radiated through our wedding party and made everyone want to keep going. Thank you Felicia for making our wedding day perfect.... I wish I could express our love for you in this review with a million heart eye emojis!!!!

d she help us plan, and stick to our timeline, she was very accommodating when we wanted to grab a quick picture here and there. Not only is she professional and accommodating, but she is also super fun. It was easy to be ourselves and take natural pictures because she kept us laughing and explained poses and sequences in a very clear and easy manner. It never seemed like we were forcing smiles, and we never felt uncomfortable! If you are having any trouble finding a photographer, search no longer, just book with Felicia and know that you are in awesome hands. We will without a doubt refer anyone looking for a photographer to Felicia. Thank you so much for everything you have done!!

and joking. Throughout the planning process, she was so wonderful to work with- she is incredibly responsive and goes above and beyond to make sure her clients needs are met. We had a blast getting to know each other even better at our engagement shoot- my husband and I didn't start out the most comfortable having a camera on us all morning, but Felicia made it feel so natural and put us at ease. Our wedding day was absolute perfection. She kept all of the unruly groomsmen in line, and kept everything exactly on schedule. As a bride, I knew that I could relax and enjoy the day because she was on top of it. Her organization and planning with us beforehand ensured that we got all of the images that we wanted in the most efficient way. After our big day, she put so much time and energy into editing every photo-- every single photo. We could tell that it was so important to her that we were satisfied with the end result, and worked so hard to make the pictures perfect. Felicia is so naturally talented. She is easy to talk to, instantly makes you feel comfortable, and has such an incredible gift of capturing the most authentic, candid, and beautiful shots. When we told her we didn't want a lot of "posed" photos, but rather more "real" shots, we could have never imagined getting such perfect, authentic pictures of our day that we will cherish forever. We are forever thankful that we found Felicia, that we have our pictures to look back and remember our day, and that we have a new forever friend. Felicia, thank you so much for sharing your talent and passion with us!!

ible. We met Felicia through a friend and fell in love with her immediately on our first conversation. The small details she thinks about and the big picture she creates is what really made the day. Felicia was more than just a photographer. She was a wedding planner, photographer and a friend. We were blessed to have her play such an important role in our day. We would recommend any of our friends or strangers we meet on the street to use Felicia for their day. With her attention to detail, perfectly goofy personality and love for what she does, you will not regret it. Thank you, Felicia, for everything you did for us. We love you and are so glad to call you our FOREVER photographer.

hedules for our engagement pictures as well as had really good ideas for them. Our Wedding Day was even better!! She made sure to capture everything I requested and more! I'm so glad we picked someone with so much experience and talent. I will cherish the pictures forever.

s feel so comfortable all along the way and she captured our wedding day perfectly! I seriously can't say enough wonderful things about Felicia. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone in need of a photographer... in fact, I already have. :)

mainly due to her deep passion for the career. Behind the camera, she is an artist - capturing the most perfect moments. Beyond the camera, she is endlessly sweet, fun to be around, professional, and organized. She is the perfect combination of perfect photographer and someone you want to be your friend! I would choose her again and again as my photographer. If you can book her for your date - don't hesitate!

t pictures. Also, her rates were well within our budget. Felicia is a true professional with quality work and a personality that is equally top notch.

hotos turned out amazing and we would highly recommend Felicia for any of your photo needs!

th our pictures from our September 2016 wedding. Not only is Felicia talented, but she is seriously the sweetest!! If you want the photos of a lifetime, then Felicia is your girl!!!! :)

was incredibly organized and professional. She was sweet and kind and put us at ease. And, oh yeah, she's a magnificent artist! We couldn't be more happy with Felicia and her work.

t my vision for my wedding and was genuinely excited to be apart of my day to capture it all! I had so many questions leading up to the day and she was so patient with me and helped me so much! The day of the wedding, Felicia and her team were so professional. They wore all black and were discrete but also kept the bridal party spirits up during down times. After the wedding Felicia kept true to her word about the turn around time and ordering photos and prints were a breeze with it all being online! And above all, the photographs of our wedding were beautiful and well done! I will treasure them forever and worth every penny! I highly recommend Felicia the Photographer!

During our wedding day, Felicia helped me keep calm and made our day run smoothly by capturing every priceless moment. Thank you for everything, Felicia!

simply who she is! From the moment we started working together, she was upbeat, professional, and decreased some of the stress that is planning a wedding. She helped us put together a timeline and needed photos and arrived early on the day of the wedding. Knowing that we wanted some formals, but mainly the candid moments between us and our guests, Felicia presented us with exactly what we wanted. Because we had a Friday evening wedding, she took advantage of the gorgeous fading sunlight to capture some perfectly romantic shots that just fit with our theme for the day. She was professional the whole day through, but also made the little details like getting ready extra fun. She was more than a vendor we used for our wedding, we could tell she was just as happy and excited as some of our guests! If you want someone who goes above and beyond her job as a photographer, there’s simply no better recommendation.
