Fermentation House Ventura is a one-of-a-kind wedding and event venue in Ventura, California, offering couples a warm, industrial setting with plenty of character and the flexibility to make the space their own. Set among the barrels of our working fermentation house, the venue offers an atmosphere that's a little unexpected and distinctly Ventura. The indoor space can accommodate up to 150 guests and can be transformed to suit everything from an intimate celebration to a full wedding reception. Draping, florals, lighting, music and personal touches can completely change the feel of the room, while the barrels and industrial details provide a memorable backdrop you won't find in a traditional banquet hall. We know planning a wedding involves hundreds of decisions, including some you may not know you need to make yet. That's where we try to make things easier. We're responsive throughout the planning process, happy to answer questions, and proactive about details such as bar arrangements, vendor responsibilities, and timing. Our goal is for couples to arrive on their wedding day knowing the details have been thought through so they can focus on celebrating with the people they love. We also believe great events shouldn't have to follow a one-size-fits-all formula. Couples can choose a package with catering provided by us or bring in their own licensed caterer or food truck. Chairs and rectangular tables are included with the venue rental, with formal round tables available as an upgrade. You're welcome to bring your own DJ or band, or we can help arrange entertainment separately. Our bar features beverages produced right here by Anna's Cider, Jungle Tea and Doctor's Orders Wine Company, alongside beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. Catering can also be tailored to the occasion and budget, from relaxed buffet-style menus and seasonal California fare to elevated plated dinners.
