Lydia is incredible. She planned our wedding in September and we didn't make it easy. It was a four day event in a venue that wasn't designed to be a wedding venue. We had to bring absolutely everything in. She brought our vision to life and made us feel so relaxed and cared for. Hire her!

Lydia is amazing. She was our full-service wedding planner and she delivered more than we could have ever expected. We had a traditional Indian wedding, which can come with a high amount of wedding chaos and details. She worked with us from beginning to end, listened to all our ideas, responsive, and was extremely communicative for every decision. On the day of, the entire fern & flair team executed our vision perfectly. Her calming energy and "roll with the punches" attitude allowed us to be in the moment and enjoy our day without any worries. She even ran to the grocery store the morning of to grab a few forgotten items for our ceremony! If you are looking for someone to take charge and help execute your dream wedding, look no further!

We worked with Fern & Flair for day-of coordination services and had a great experience! I am extremely detail-oriented and planned our wedding myself, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to relax and enjoy myself on the day of the event. I hoped that Lydia and her team would be able to manage all of the moving parts during the event, work with the vendors and make sure everything that needed to happen happened. I got everything I'd hoped for and more! Zoë (our day-of coordinator) was so kind, flexible and organized. Lydia is a rockstar. We used her day of coordinator services, but she was responsive for months ahead of the wedding and willing to let us bounce ideas off of her to ensure we were making good choices on vendors and checking all the necessary boxes. When our big day got closer she really helped us finish pulling all the final details together. It's amazing how many little things you need to pay attention to at a wedding that you don't grasp until you have one of your own. When the big day arrived she was the engine that made everything go. She brings excellent experience to the table and it seemed like she was in 10 places at once all night. She got all of our vendors and guests where they needed to be and made it so we could relax and enjoy everything. I can't imagine how people throw a wedding without a coordinator, and we would recommend Lydia to anybody looking to throw a wedding. Lydia was so wonderful to work with for my wedding! From the beginning, she was incredibly quick to respond and answered all of my many questions. With our wedding postponement and many changing COVID regulations, I was very stressed and Lydia helped to ease all of my concerns. She is extremely organized and was able to help me with various aspects of my wedding, including finding vendors and helping me with the overall design. During our wedding weekend, Lydia thought of every detail so that we could truly enjoy our time with family and friends. She ran all of the logistics, kept everyone on schedule, and worked with all of our vendors seamlessly. I will never forget her providing me with some snacks and water before I walked down the aisle as she knew that I had not had time for much food that morning. She also took some videos throughout the reception so that I would have those memories, which was extremely thoughtful. As a wedding vendor, I have worked with many planners and Lydia is truly one of the most professional, organized, and adaptable planners that I've worked with in quite some time! With all of the challenges and changing regulations this year due to COVID, Lydia kept everyone informed and ready to best serve our couples. Having a planner or coordinator like Lydia who can handle all of your vendor interactions is worth EVERY penny and makes the day run smoothly! I promise this is not what you want to be doing the week of your wedding- hire her instead.

Lydia is an amazing wedding planner, I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!! I was a bridesmaid in a small outdoor wedding and she handled every problem with positivity and grace. She was calm as bad weather approached and thought ahead to put tarps over the outdoor seating so that the wedding could go on without any problems after the rain settled down. She is a women with many talents including steaming dresses, arranging flowers, hosting, communicating clearly, and so much more that you I will never know because she takes care of problems before they happen.

We cannot say enough good things about Fern & Flair. Lydia was a dream to work with and always went above and beyond! She brought many things to my attention that I would have never thought about! She really helped me every step of the way was very quick to response to any questions I had (and I had a lot of them!). She was able to provide me with suggestions from sequence of events to best places to look for a suit and everything in between. On top of all of this she helped me plan 3 different versions of my wedding due to COVID-19 and the changing guidance. Hiring Fern and Flair was the best decision we made. Our wedding day would not have been the same without Lydia, she took care of all the little things and made our day so much less stressful. I am so thankful that I got to work with Lydia and I would recommend Fern and Flair to anyone getting married or planning an event!

Lydia and her team were absolutely fabulous! Lydia truly cares about the vision, functionality, and detail that go into any wedding. Her and the team are very talented! From design, to flowers, to set up, and all the other details - they do it all! She was easy to communicate with, talk through ideas, and was so reassuring, especially when things had to change because of COVID. She anticipated problems and was able to fix them (it had started to rain at my wedding, and she was so quick to get everything covered), and she was calm and collected through it all. I was that bride that said I would never need a wedding planner, but I am so glad I did have one because I was able to enjoy the day so much more. Lydia took care of everything, and I would highly, highly recommend her to any bride and groom. Her services are so worth it!

Lydia is the absolute best! We hired her as a day-of-coordinator for our wedding, and it was the best decision we made. With a guest list of only 30 people, my fiancé and I were unsure if we would need a wedding coordinator, but we absolutely did!! I am so thankful we hired Lydia. She made the day less stressful for all of us, and took care of all the little things so that we could truly enjoy our wedding. Lydia's guidance through the decision making process was invaluable. She thought of every little detail, and worked non-stop the whole weekend of our wedding. From helping to re-apply my lipstick to wrangling rogue guests, she went above and beyond! Lydia is amazing, and I'm so thankful that she was with us on our wedding day.

Lydia was an absolute gem!! I called her only a couple weeks before my wedding desperate for a wedding coordinator. She answered the phone and her calm, sweet voice and can-do-it attitude immediately calmed me. She helped with tiny little details as I planned my wedding in Maine from Buffalo, NY. We had multiple video calls as we coordinated set up, take down, and every detail in between. She brought up countless critical points and things to do that hadn’t even crossed my mind. She was there for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner the day before too! The day of she helped decorate the entire barn, coordinated with limos, hid me from my the future husband in a cute tool shed when I arrived to the ceremony site, and told my dad to take his sun glasses off before he walked me down the aisle :) She snuck my husband and me away from the reception and drove us and the photographer to a garden for a mini photo shoot. I’m tearing up now thinking about all this, I am so incredibly happy we found her! I’m not sure how we would have pulled everything off without Lydia. She was a true blessing!!

We found Fern & Flair after the overwhelming pressure of planning and coordinating a destination wedding at a Summer Camp in Maine became too much for me to handle. My mom and I worked closely with Lydia to plan the entire weekend for 140 guests, including meals, decor, logistics, rentals, and a thousand other things. Lydia has great connections to local vendors, and strong recommendations for your every possible need. Lydia is responsive, professional, extremely organized, and has an incredible eye for on-trend design. She also did everything to ensure that the bride (me!) had every possible comfort during the Big Day - one thing that I will always ALWAYS cherish is that she whisked my husband and I, freshly married, to our cabin for 15 minutes of alone time, complete with champagne and a sampler of all the hors d'oeuvres being passed at our cocktail hour. The entire weekend was perfectly planned, almost feeling effortless! But that 15 minutes is what makes Lydia (and Fern & Flair !) a superstar.

Our experience with fern & flair was wonderful! We worked with Lydia throughout the planning process and her assistants Natalie and Sophi were there for the weekend. They took care of everything and we didn't have to worry about any of the details once the weekend began. They were very well organized and our families and wedding party had only great things to say about the help they offered. Thank you for EVERYTHING Lydia, Natalie, and Sophi!

Lydia was superwoman at our tented outdoor wedding and leading up to it - seriously, every time I looked around she was doing something else to help the day go smoothly. Calm, collected, organized, and everything else you could need to make your wedding run flawlessly. She is great with flowers and did an expert job of leading centerpiece assembly, among so many other things. If you want to solve all those problems that you know will inevitably pop up, just hire Lydia now and forget about the stress.

I could not say more amazing things about my experience working with Lydia. We chose her partial planner and day of coordinator package. She was so organized, prompt, and responsive before the wedding. She met with us and our families multiple times before the wedding and was always able to troubleshoot any issues with vendors. On the wedding weekend, she was extremely flexible and took most of the stress away from us so we could just focus on enjoying our time with family and friends. She has an amazing eye for design and made our wedding look beyond our wildest dreams. Everything went off without a hitch and I got to enjoy my day without worrying about logistics because I knew Lydia had it covered.

I can't explain enough how amazing Lydia was for our wedding as day of coordinator. She came in and didn't miss a beat, she took all the stress of the wedding weekend off our shoulders. She is an extremely calming presence but she knows what she's doing, isn't afraid to get her hands dirty, direct and tell people what to do and what they should be doing, and just be whatever you need for the wedding. Anyone planning a wedding, I would 1,000% recommend Lydia for any and all of your wedding planning needs. She is able to do the little and big things on your wedding day that you shouldn't have to worry about. My husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding day and she took care of all of the behind the scenes to make sure our day was perfect, which it was, with a big part of it being due to her! There were snags and she handled them with professionalism and grace. Again, I will and have highly recommended Lydia to any couples planning a wedding!!

Lydia has the most calming, kind, and effective presence. It was an absolute godsend to have her take the reigns a month to our wedding. I actually got to do the fun details while Lydia effortlessly navigated the nitty gritty. She problem solved a rental mistake I had made last minute absorbing all of my fretting and transmuted into a gleaming smile and a problem solved. When it came time for our wedding day we felt so assured and calm by Lydia's expertise that we floated through the whole wedding. We were truly able to fully be present and enjoy every minute with Lydia by our side. She was incredibly graceful at whisking us into the right place at the right time to keep our timeline on track. Honestly just hearing her gentle voice before I walked down the aisle:"Take a moment, you're getting married, whenever you are ready," was worth every penny. You will be in good hands if you hire Lydia.

We could not have been happier with Lydia and the team at fern & flair. Lydia’s attention to detail and meticulous organization and planning made our wedding weekend everything we had hoped. Lydia and team were more accommodating than we could have imagined and their flexibility and adaptability allowed the entire event to go off without a hitch. Lydia was hands down one of the best decisions we made when planning for our wedding! From the beginning, Lydia was incredibly organized, thoughtful and professional, and really put in the time to help us put together the wedding that we wanted. She was very patient, and helped us think through issues we had not considered, and improve the ones we had. We would have been thrilled with all of her work prior to the wedding, but the day of coordination really took her work to another level. We did not have to think about ONE THING over the entire weekend, and the entire day went off with perfect and beautiful execution. She ensured all of our vendors worked together and created a wedding that was really more than the sum of its parts. On top of all her work, Lydia was also just a wonderful person to work with, always warm and smiling. We would recommend Lydia to any of our friends and family looking to get married, and are eager to see where her career takes her. If there is one decision you need to make when planning for your wedding, chose Lydia and everything will turn out fantastic and better than your wildest dreams.

Lydia is an outstanding wedding coordinator. She is a warm and positive person who is also professional, methodical, and pragmatic. On our wedding day (and the day before), Lydia was ten steps ahead of the action. In addition to helping plan prior to the event, she gracefully juggled many of the tasks involved in setting up the venue and carrying out the wedding--e.g., picking up the cake, picking up and returning a/v equipment, choreographing our outdoor ceremony, keeping parts of the evening such as toasts and music on schedule, and helping with clean-up at the end of the night. She is a real pro and was a pleasure to work with.

Lydia was the best thing to happen to my wedding. I knew from day one that I was going to need a wedding coordinator, especially since we created our own venue. I thought for sure that we would have everything ready to go on the day off and Lydia would just need to put final details together. However on the day of, Lydia had to do WAY more than she signed up for, which she never once complained about. She showed up bright and early and what was an empty space, turned it into exactly what I had envisioned. She was calm under pressure and when we ran into some issues with other vendors she handled them with ease. Her communication and direction was also wonderful. She easily wrangled our whole bridal party (including my mother which is a feat all in itself) to cooperate and listen to directions during the rehearsal and the day of. Lydia went above and beyond in several aspects of her service but the greatest thing of all was when I walked back into my house at the end of the night to find that she had cleaned and organized from the chaos that had taken place while we were getting ready. The best thing you can do for yourself, and your wedding, is to hire Lydia, I promise you will not be disappointed!

Lydia and McKenna were such a pleasure to work with! Very professional from day 1 and they both worked with us to make my wedding extra special and enjoyable. The day-of coordinator, McKenna, was fantastic. Not only was she my mother's right-hand lady, but she also played such an integral role making sure our entire (20+) bridal party was prepared and organized during the entire rehearsal, ceremony and reception. She was super sweet and handled all requests with respect, professionalism and swiftly. We were so happy to have her!! We would love the opportunity to work with Fern & Flair again. Lydia of Fern and Flair did such an amazing job helping my husband and I pull together an amazing and fun wedding on a really short time frame! We planned the whole wedding in just a few months and didn’t ask for Lydia’s help until just over a month before the wedding! She jumped in with energy and enthusiasm as well as kindness and understanding. She helped us hone our theme and bring the event to life into a party that was uniquely ours. Her help gave me the confidence to focus on my husband and my family. We had an amazing day that actually was one of the best days of my life — truly a miracle!! I highly recommend Lydia!

When I first began planning my wedding I was unsure about hiring a coordinator, but after speaking with Lydia I quickly changed my mind. Lydia was absolutely phenomenal to work with and I cannot image how our wedding day would have gone without her. She went above and beyond as our day-of coordinator. Our guests were so impressed with her work, including the beautiful table top and arch flower arrangements that Lydia did, and our caterer loved working with her. She made sure everything stayed on scheduled, everyone ended up in the right places, and everything looked beautiful! Her professionalism and thoughtfulness were very much appreciated. Lydia helped us with the day of coordination for our wedding and we were beyond happy with her work. Lydia was an amazing wedding coordinator and went far above and beyond our expectations. She is extremely well-organized, professional, and knowledgable, not to mention very pleasant and easy to work with. She had great ideas, and took all the stress off of us in making sure that our vendors were on schedule and that our rehearsal, ceremony and reception ran smoothly. She also did a wonderful job with the flowers (she did all of our bouquets, boutonnieres, and small arrangements for our rehearsal dinner and reception). Lydia was a perfect wedding planner. She was organized, responsive, and most importantly calm and easy to work with. We had a wedding at my grandparents estate/barn, which was not set up to be a wedding venue so it had a lot of moving parts and was very much DYI. We booked Lydia as our weekend coordinator for our wedding on 9/8/18. She was absolutely amazing to work with, calming, thoughtful and extremely conscientious. During the most stressful parts of the day, Lydia was helpful. Some unexpected issues popped up the morning of our wedding, and Lydia quickly and efficiently worked to resolve them. I truly can't imagine how we would have gotten through our wedding weekend without her. Lydia ensured that the entire wedding party stayed on track and no details were missed. Lydia and crew were amazing both prior and during the wedding. She is very professional and does a wonderful job at keeping calm during the craziness weddings can bring! As a day-of-coordinator, she made my wedding day incredibly low stress. We had two meetings prior to the big day, she was there to organize the rehearsal and of course during the wedding.
