Our budget was limited, so we reused the bouquets as centerpieces for the tables, and Fernies also helped us figure out the best size vases, so we could transition them easily. Also, we were gifted flower preservation, and the artist immediately asked who our florist was because she was so impressed by the flowers. That’s how you know it’s good. I will absolutely be using them again for everything from causal arrangements to special events. The team there has such an incredible eye and style, they did all the heavy lifting, and we got to enjoy the rewards of people complimenting our beautiful flowers. Win/win.

We are by no means flower experts, so being able to describe a look or style to allow Julia to help craft our vision was such an impressive experience. Day off, it was exactly what we had imagined. Julia delivered and then some. The greenery flowed from table to table, the bouquet was so full, and our guests were absolutely thrilled to get to take home home of the beautiful table settings. At the end of the night, we felt very pleased to know that all the remaining greens would be composted as part of Fern’s environmentally-friendly efforts. tly what vibe we wanted and suggested the most beautiful flowers for our fall wedding in Beacon, NY. We met several times over the course of the year while we were planning the wedding, and they were super quick to answer our emails when we had a question. Our centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres and cake florals were incredibly unique, each with its own personality. But the showstopper was our chuppah! Both sets of parents kept telling us how impressed they were watching Julia set each flower individually, removing and replacing any that didn’t seem just right. She also honored our request to remove the back posts of the chuppah and keep our flowers behind our sweetheart table as an arch during the reception. Most of all we just love how friendly, energetic and kindhearted everyone at Fern Botanica is. 10/10 would recommend!!

I went to their studio/storefront for our final meeting and it was the best vendor meeting I had by far - Julia is so sweet and personable and I got to see various flowers and ferns in person, how they open up the flowers, and pick out the vases for everything. The team also had done a lot of weddings at our venue so they were super knowledgeable on quantities and what it would take to get the space to look like a dreamy garden soirée without crowding the tables. We shared a same vision of every bouquet and arrangement not looking alike, having movement, incorporating color and all still feeling very romantic - they delivered on all of this and so much more, I couldn’t have been happier with all of our beautiful florals! For the day of, they were able to deliver our personal flowers first and then drop off our reception flowers at a later time. Originally, they were only going to drop off the reception flowers but I saw SarahKay there and helping to place the flowers on the table which was so nice and appreciated- definitely felt an extra bit of fernie magic with her there! I am a big plant and flower lover in general, and because we picked a "raw space" for our wedding and needed a chuppah for the ceremony, our florist needed to play a *key* role in creating the right vibes for the whole day. Julia and her team pulled this off beautifully. Our chuppah was exactly what I wanted, and withstood a pretty windy rooftop by the river! Julia and the team were totally game to work with a tallit that we wanted to cover the chuppah and took my vision to heart. The floral arrangements, candles, and pottery were all fun, seasonally appropriate for the fall, and exactly what we'd hoped for. Fun fact - Fern lets you keep the pottery! We had no idea, and now cherish a few of the bud vases and larger pieces year-round. Can't recommend working with them enough - total dream team.

incredible. My partner and I were late to book a florist and ended up reaching out to a bunch of great florists that have worked at our venue before, BBG. Julia stood out, as she had an incredible attitude that just radiated positivity and good vibes. She got our vision right away and understood what we wanted even more so than we did. We booked ~ 5 weeks before our wedding. Julia eased our stress and made time to do a “mini mock-up” in person and run through everything with us. Her prices were reasonable given our vision. She also seamlessly connected with our wedding planner and she made sure to integrate whatever flowers / colors / reference images / details we loved, including making sure I got the lush chuppah I was hoping for. Two days before our wedding our neon sign that was going behind the dj booth basically experienced a shipping mishap and Julia and her team came through to create beautiful flower initial letters that would help replace that signage’s place. Additionally, we had hoped to have hanging installations from the ceiling but weeks before the venue no longer allowed that, but luckily Julia came up with a creative beautiful solution. Julia also did the flowers for our Friday night dinner and they were so beautiful. I can’t recommend Julia and her team enough. They’re the good vibes you want on your wedding day along with the most beautiful flowers and endless creativity. o my wedding budget, flowers were an area where I was willing to be more restrained to save money, and I didn't have a clear vision and I was just nervous that vendors were going to eat me alive, or just now even want to work with us because we were only doing bouquets and boutonnieres. Then I got on the phone with Julia. Within minutes, I knew she was the one. She recommended going heavy on the flameless candles and keeping greenery on the tables to just some simple (and affordable) strands of ivy. We followed her direction and it was absolutely perfect. She was so patient with me and my husband and we literally didn't know any words for the types of flowers we were looking for. I loved my bouquet so much, I am having the flowers pressed and framed.
