ful with set-up and take-down the day of, which was such a huge relief for us and our family at the end of the night. She was easy to communicate with and worked well alongside our planner who was assisting with design. Overall, we loved our experience with Alison and we appreciated working with her!

I was not impressed with our florals. Purple flowers were incorporated, which was not something we had discussed and looked very strange in photos next to our dresses and suits, we had asked for navy or blue incorporated. The Mens florals we’re...

very plain and wilted almost immediately, my fiancés was drooping before the first look was even over. The bouquets were not very full, and many guests kept asking me if the flowers were what I requested, because it was that obvious they did not match our aesthetic. The garland and arch were very pretty, though. I also reached out before the wedding to see if they needed anything from me, and to chat in order to make sure everything was good, and I never got a response. I am not typically picky about anything, but was bummed with the florals at our wedding overall. I wish there was more communication on their end close to the wedding to discuss and make sure it was what we had anticipated. I’m attaching a photo of my bouquet (my fiancés flower is in the background of it as well), compared to the inspiration photo.

Alison Buerkley Owner + Creative My name is Alison and I am the owner and lead florist behind Fern Floral Company. My background in floristry started in a field of flowers. I worked for 3 years on a local flower farm growing, harvesting, and arranging flowers before becoming a wedding florist. This unique perspective has served me well at my new studio in Marine on St Croix, MN. In my studio I am dedicated quality and clarity of vision. With a focus on attentive service and exceptional client experiences, I thoroughly enjoy bringing clients wedding flower dreams to life!
