ADAM DJ kept the music going and the dance floor full, CHARLES photographer was easy to work with and flexible with our schedule, he was always on the move capturing all of the moments and made everyone feel comfortable we cant wait to see photos! The hair and make up team allows you to get into the getting ready house earlier and makes for and easy morning. TAYLOR and her team are wonderful. SHAREN, Ladybug florist pulled the entire day together with her wonderful work! Fern Hill staff did so many extra things that just added to a perfect day. I highly suggest everyone check out this venue and enjoy the amazing process of planning a wedding, and then enjoy the best day of your life!

I started planning my wedding at the end of January and got married at the end of April so I chose a venue that would help me plan everything and that had some things included. During this period of delay, the team did so many things for me that I was sometimes left doing nothing. Their dedication, joy and good humor is incredible. On my wedding day the officiant was late, I took what they offered out of the package because I wanted my ceremony in Portuguese. They were so nice to me planning everything, keeping me calm and informed. The team that served the food at the party were very happy, always smiling. The venue is simply beautiful! All my guests spoke very highly of the place and the food. Thank you so much Fern Hill Barn team, you made the most important day of my life even more important!

A year of planning later and after experiencing a seamless wedding day, it is the staff at Zukas that leave a mark on my husband and I. The staff were so incredibly kind, talented and attentive to us and our guests, beyond what I could have imagined. They are all tenured professionals that know their stuff and want to make your day perfect. Cherry on top - the food and drinks were also amazing. As a special note, working with Alyson at Zukas over the year leading up to wedding day was incredible. She is an excellent communicator, a true expert in her role. She helped make our day perfect and always expressing kindness, even after my many emails with questions on teeny details! 😊

Unfortunately, it poured rain all day on the wedding day so we were unable to get married outside as I had envisioned for months. However, the team at Zukas and Alyson were so calm, collected and organized that the rain did not ruin our day and we pivoted quickly the day before to having the ceremony under the tent. We used the hair and makeup team through Zukas and it worked out perfectly. Everyone loved the food and thought the space was beautiful. We are so grateful for Zukas and Alyson for helping to make our day perfect.

Everyone was so happy with their looks. Kristin took extra time at the end of her work day to accommodate my busy schedule for a hair and makeup trial. She was very receptive to my needs and wants, and I highly recommend the spa team for all of your day-of beauty needs!

It did rain for a short while before the ceremony began, but the crew was quick to get towels and wipe down the ceremony seats before any guest had the opportunity to sit on a wet seat. Decorating was easy as the venue has so much to offer already that it was easiest to be minimal in our decorating budget. My husband and I utilized their offer of the spa and suite for the wedding day. Kristen Hickman and her hair and makeup crew did a wonderful job on me and my girls. All were very professional and personable! The suite after the wedding was a nice and easy reprieve, allowing my husband and I to get rest before packing our decorations the next morning. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Zukas for your wedding/events!

ust stunning - think rural, barn-meets-garden, rustic yet timelessly elegant. Zukas only does one event per day, so we had the entire place to ourselves from 10am when the girls and I checked into the bridal suite/salon to start our hair, to 10:30pm when the reception ended. This also meant we had the full, undivided attention of our wedding coordinator, Alyson, who is so amazing she gets her own paragraph in this review! The on-site bridal suite and hair salon was great for getting ready ahead of the ceremony, and the suite was the perfect retreat for my husband and I after the party had ended. We had our ceremony on site at the gazebo, from which point guests were easily guided to the cocktail hour space, and later to the tented reception. It was an unseasonably warm 95 degrees on our wedding day, but the air conditioning in the barn for cocktail hour and the cool shade and breeze under the reception tent kept our guests cool and comfortable all evening. The on-site wedding coordinator, Alyson, was pleasant and professional from the get-go. She was extremely knowledgeable, and graciously answered any and all questions we had during the planning process. On the big day, she was somehow everywhere all at once, never hurried or stressed, cheerfully guiding us from one step to the next. She was there with a plate of hors d'oeuvres so we got to eat in between photos during the cocktail hour, and the wine and water glasses at our sweetheart table appeared to magically refill themselves each time we returned from dancing or mingling with guests. She made the entire process as close to stress-free as wedding planning gets; she was truly a joy to work with! The food deserves its own review because our guests cannot stop talking about how delicious it was. Second only to the ceremony, it’s the one thing everyone commented on. From the passed hor d’oeuvres, to the three-course dinner, to the dessert bar, I can’t count how many people have said it was some of the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. The main dishes came in healthy serving sizes, and the prime rib and stuffed chicken we selected were huge hits. There are quite a few food allergies in my family, and Zukas was wonderfully accommodating when it came to ensuring that everyone had plenty of safe food options. We brought in a small gluten-free cutting cake from an outside bakery (I have Celiac’s) and opted for the dessert bar for our guests. That might have been the best decision of the night because WOW people are still raving about the variety and quality of desserts! The bartenders also get five stars for keeping the good times flowing with their awesome service, which was no small task as everyone was pretty excited about the open bar. I could go on and on about Zukas and everyone who works there. It’s rare to find a wedding venue that is truly as perfect as it looks, and Zukas Hilltop Barn is that wedding venue.

We really loved being the only wedding on site, it made our day feel very private and special, and we didn't feel rushed at any point. We stayed at the bridal suite overnight and loved that we could just walk across the parking lot and crash after a long and exciting wedding day! We are both vegetarian and many of our guests were as well. Zukas had great meal options and also was great about accommodating food allergies. All of our guests were so impressed with the space and loved everything about Zukas. We are so glad we found them!

We pushed back the reception to this year, so that we could invite our original guest list and get the full experience we wanted at Zukas. I’m so glad we did, it was worth the wait! The bridal suite is a beautiful spot for getting ready and worth the extra cost. Having the entire property to ourselves was great, as our guests could go take pictures outside on the beautiful grounds, enjoy the fire pit and gazebo, and not bump into other wedding parties. It’s also worth noting that it was a fairly chilly, overcast day, and the tent was well-heated. My only regret is that it’s over!!

went to Zukas in February of 2018 for our October 2019 wedding. It had just snowed the night before, but we made our way out to Zukas anyways to take a look. As soon as we drove up, and as soon as we walked into the indoor reception area, we knew that this was our venue. The pictures DO NOT do the space justice. Even with the snow on the ground and the fact that the tent that we would have our reception in was not up, we just knew this was where we had to have our wedding. Alyson is honestly the best coordinator you will work with! From the first day we reached out to see the venue, straight through to our wedding day, she was always so communicative (I'm not even sure if she gets any days off because she ALWAYS answers). She is so organized and so calm and made sure that everything was perfect day of! She also made sure that I actually got some of the food at cocktail hour which I was so thankful for! From the amazing grounds that offer a wide variety of photo options, to the beautiful reception tent (that is heated! For those of you who are scared that it will be cold in there for your October wedding...it won't be!), to the newly remodeled bridal suite, to the absolutely amazing food (we got so many rave reviews) I honestly couldn't have asked for a better venue! All of our guests raved that it was one of the most beautiful and elegant and "truly new england" weddings that they had ever been to.

The day went completely smoothly--our ceremony actually started exactly on time, all the details were perfectly arranged and setup by the time I walked in. Not to mention--the entrees and desserts are phenomenal. Not only was the wedding cake the best cake I have ever tasted, several guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! The chocolate fountain and mini ice cream cones were also a huge hit! And they made sure I actually got to eat all of the food I wanted to as the bride. I had the best day of my life here, and I couldn't recommend it more enthusiastically.

Besides being the most calming and level-headed human being, she was also the most attentive and made sure every single detail of the wedding was absolutely perfect. We had so many moving parts, and as the day crept up, she answered every single question I had and problem-solved with me whenever I needed. Alyson, you are an angel! The venue itself was stunning. Getting married on 10/19/19 with an outdoor ceremony was everything I had hoped for - peak foliage, serene and private surroundings. I felt as though our ceremony was the only event happening for miles around. Later, the tent, the lighting, and paper lanterns through their vendor, Greg, created a warm and intimate reception. The food was incredible and Alyson helped me create the perfect menu, including passed hors d'oeurves and a three course sit-down dinner. The guests were raving! Overall, everything was beyond perfect. Book Zukas for your wedding, you won't be disappointed!

My guests were super impressed and almost all of them asked how I found such a gem. We got so many compliments on the food, too! Alyson was our venue coordinator and was a dream to work with. I could not recommend Zuka’s Hilltop Barn enough.

ero stress from anything having to do with the venue. When the day finally arrived, everything went so smoothly and the room (we had an indoor winter wedding) was decorated impeccably. I had provided the decorations and some general instructions about where I'd like what, but they really made it look wonderful. We also received many compliments on the food and cake (which were fantastic). They were very flexible and happy to accommodate the vegetarian and vegan guests we had, and even offered to come up with an off-menu vegan meal since the ones offered didn't really fit the theme of the other meal choices we had picked. It was, hands down, the best vegetarian wedding food I've ever had. The service was also very efficient and well paced. No one felt rushed, but everything was served promptly to leave us plenty of time to dance afterward. One small warning, when we went to the tasting/expo event they do for all the couples hosting their weddings within the year, the food was only okay and the service was eh (must have had something to do with how much variety they provided/service style/volume, which were not at all how a wedding is normally run). Don't be nervous if you feel the same way! I am so happy we chose Zukas for our wedding reception! It was perfect.
